I made an in-state move about a month and half ago, and was honestly disappointed by the service from the Country Pickers. On the day of my move, the movers arrived several hours after the time I had been told to expect them. Then, there was massive confusion between the movers and the offices about when my belongings would arrive at my new apartment. The day I was told they would be delivered changed at least 5 times due to the poor communication between the two different parts of the company. Even back when I had scheduled my move, I had been surprised to find months after booking that my belongings would not arrive on the day I had expected them to and had to book a hotel room that I had not been planning on. Finally, when my furniture was finally delivered, there had been enough confusion that they did not have enough workers to take care of my belongings. My things were delivered by one staff member of the Country Pickers and his teenaged son. All things considered, they moved my things efficiently and only a few items were damaged in the move, but I was paying for a professional service with professional movers and did not feel like I was getting what I had expected. In the end, things ended up where they needed to be, but the poor communication within the company made my already stressful move more stressful and confusing than I had hoped for. I plan on finding a different company for my next move.

We utilized the Country Picker for an out of state move. They were efficient, courteous and more than reasonable in price. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Last June (2014) we used The Country Picker to move the entire contents of our home from NH to Florida after favorable recommendations from local folks. Fifteen years earlier we had moved the same from NJ to NH with a major national carrier without a hitch. The initial conversations were great. We were to pack everything with the exception of pictures which they would pack. The price had been given and agreed to. The day of loading came, the Pickers showed up on time with two trucks and several people to load. The loading took most of the day and with one exception we were pleased with the efforts of the people loading. Unfortunately for us the entire load had to be stored prior to going to Florida for about three weeks, which Country Pickers were to accomplish. The time came to agree to deliver to Florida, which went without a hitch. We gave ourselves enough time to drive to Florida and then meet the truck a couple of days later. Timing went well, truck showed up with driver. We waited along with the driver for unloaders to show up for about one and a half hours. Something had occurred and the original unloaders were not going to show so a couple of others had been dispatched to do the job but would be late. My wife and I along with the driver started unloading the truck to get a head start. The two fellows to unload showed and along with the driver started unloading. I helped the entire time. There had been an inventory taken when the items were originally packed in NH and a list provided to us by box number and item number. When unloading the boxes and furniture were just unloaded no inventory matchup was done. (What do we know). Unloading was done, there was only one issue with a missing piece of moulding, which we were assured would be taken care of. There were a couple of other items that were slightly damaged but not a real big deal a little glue would take care of them with no problem. The driver packed up the truck and left for a pickup load somewhere south of us. Unfortunately he had reloaded my two wheel dolly worth all of $30. We called Country Picker in NH and they in turned call the driver who called us and said he would deliver the dolly on his way back, which was way out of his way. The driver showed up and dropped of the dolly which was definitely good customer service since he probably wasted more in fuel and time than it would have cost just to make an adjustment somewhere. Shortly after we had a conversation with Country Picker who was attempting to locate the missing moulding that had fallen off. Unfortunately the moulding could not be located. You have to understand that the moulding missing was 200 years old and matched the tall clock base. Again we were assured that a craftsman would be retained to create a new moulding. It is now March 2015 and we have not heard a word from Country Picker. At this point I do not expect to. Words of hind sight: If the inventory is taken in the loading, use it in the unloading. Why? Because we are missing a couple of boxes of items with no recourse. If items are broken or missing demand the items be repaired prior to paying for the move. We learned our lesson the hard way and it is our own fault. We have been contacted a couple times lately by the Office for Country Pickers and were assured each time that the fellow in charge of our move would be contacting us shortly. Little late at this point for me. Our experience with Country Pickers has not been one of follow through on their part.

I have used this company twice once for a local move and recently for a long distance move. Both times they were outstanding. The movers are professional, personable, and extremely careful with my items. The service is very timely and I found the office very easy to deal with.

On time. Courteous, hard working movers. Price was higher than quote. Took more time than expected.

Phil LeBlanc and his great crew at Country Pickers made a dauntless task look so easy. The quote Mr. LeBlanc gave us was almost $1000 cheaper than a well known long-distance mover, a mover that said they wouldn't be able to get their truck up our driveway and we would need to pay for an extra shuttle! Phil's confidence and assurance about our move made us feel like we had chosen the right company. Country Picker's driver, Dave, had no trouble whatsoever getting their big rig backed up into our driveway. The crew, including Rich, Tina, and Ron among others, were courteous, knowledgeable about the task at hand, and moved our belongings out in a timely manner. They delivered our home belongings to our new address, everything in original condition, and on time. If you need a moving company that you can trust, call Phil LeBlanc at Country Pickers.

Our moving plans had changed and we needed movers on a last minute (within a week) notice. Phil got back to me within a day of inquiring. Because they couldn't survey the site before the move due to timing, we discussed square footage and I gave him an idea of what we had, and he gave me a range between 1600 and 2400 for an estimate of what the price would be. We had Jon, Sean and Mike as movers. They were very friendly, professional and did the move more quickly than was estimated. It was a hot day and they plugged along like champs with minimal breaks. They finished on the lower end of the quoted price which was awesome! The only reason we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 is towards the end we got distracted by my father showing up, and weren't watching/directing them and as a result a lot of boxes just got put in the garage or the wrong rooms even though they were all labeled, and we also realized after that the sectional couch downstairs was in a jumble and not put back together. It was a hot day, they were friendly and they worked hard, I just wish I had been more of a gestapo for ensuring proper placement, as we are spending a lot of time searching for things now.

This is a solid operation run by good people. Our move was priced fairly, done well, and the people we worked with were always professional and reasonable. I'd choose the Country Picker again.

With my experience with country picker i give them a 1 star cuz of their boss phil taking away money from their workers n not working one of their best people for no reason. I wouldn't recommend this company to do ur moving job. If you actually know what goes on in this place you wouldn't choose them at all. Only because the boss doesn't treat them right and not work their best employee
