Dirt lot, factory neighboring the building smells, very lil driver services. Pretty lil town though.

Cons: No security fencing, horrible paper smell, toilet dirty, coffee machine out of order, soda machine out of order, dirt lot full of pot holes. Pros: plenty of parking, cool weather during summer time. Easy to get a paper load but scheduled pick up time not correct.

Would not recommend this place. Go elsewhere for your training. Not the best learning environment. Instructors use unproven and dangerous methods of training that have long since been out dated and outlawed.

Muddy lot and trailers not in the right place lost time searching in the dark looking for it and pre plan said no delivery appointment then told I had 3 days to deliver the load across snow and ice covered roads to deliver at midnight

Self centered instructors at the Lewiston Academy, ive been there and now ive compared this with my current employer CR England, and the Swift Academy needs to be reformed from the inside out. More professionalism and structure is needed by management to get this school inline. I dont recommend truck training here.

small clean terminal. no gates to hold you up. only two toilets/showers and no place for your soap, typical swift. Get idaho permit here. authorizes heavier weights on tandems...a compromise to reduce off tracking thru hiway tight turns. it's a fine if your tandems aren't slid forward all the way going south.

As Swift terminals go, this is one of the better ones. You have a short walk to Curly's Roadhouse that has a decent steak. The shop was always good, getting me in and out pretty quick. It's real easy to get a load out of Lewiston, but you'll probably be hauling paper. Plus side it was always a drop and hook for me. I hauled K-mart to Missoula so they’d dead head me over here and get a load back home to Denver.

Good terminal with plenty of parking. It's a dirt lot but I personally prefer those. If it fits, you get. Usually drop and hook paper loads out of there. Good mechanics and the 2 DMs I've had out of there are great. Lewiston is a paper town so you've got that Tacoma Aroma but you get used to it. Beautiful drive up there but can be treacherous in the winter. The only con i can think of about this place is that the washer buckets on the fuel island are always buckets of mud. I think they just set them out in the rain to fill them.
