Theatres sure have changed since I was a kid. Now, they're nice and comfortable and not over sold. Century Pt offers electric recliners and amazing sound to enhance your movie theater experience. The staff was mostly attentive, bathrooms were clean.

The theatre is huge. There's room to walk thru the isle without everyone having to move. The sound system is amazing. The screen is large and curved. It gives the Lakewood AMC a run for they money.

They had plenty of places to sit while we waited for our theater to be ready and we enjoyed a nice little pizza. I like that they have ice cream here as well! Getting the parking validated was simple and lots of places to eat within walking distance. Fantastic theater seating as well -- basically reclining loveseats, where you can lift the center cup holder and cuddle with your date if you'd like.

Very friendly service and great reservable reclining seats. The theater lobby is odd though. There are no chairs or tables to waiit for friends at or to set your stuff down on, etc. just an empty floor until you present your ticket and go beyond the concessions. So weird. Weird enough thatvwed choose a different theater.

If you want a place that makes you feel like you have a home theatre this is the place to go. The customer service is ok. Greeters good. Ticket collectors some great attitude some have bad days. This is a favorite place to see movies after it been out for a while.

This is by far my favorite movie theater. I love going to the movies but not a fan of the big crowds. It's smaller than most movie theaters but very updated and definitely has that small-private-family-affair type of vibe. It's also surrounded by plenty of restaurants and small shops to browse around before and after the movies. Its on the water front so you can take a leisurely stroll by the water if you want to turn it into a romantic date with your honey ;D

My favorite movie theatre in the entire Puget Sound. Movies by the water, with free parking, reclined seating, Tuesday discount rates, and it is always clean with friendly staff. Staff is always smiling. Though I was frustrated last Thursday when a young lady told me the incorrect time the movie would be over for me to pick up my kids... and I had to wait 30 minutes for the movie to let out. But the movie being ran around the clock 24 hours, would make it difficult to follow the time it was ending (Avengers:End Game) on the release night. It seemed they had a new movie playing every 30 minutes...

I purchased tickets 3 days ago and couldn’t make the show time. I went to the movies today and asked if I could see one today, since I already paid for tickets and missed the time. I remember this being protocol. The manager was extremely rude, he cut me off, was very short, and had a lot of attitude in his delivery. Fine. I buy more tickets. The manager and another employee we staring at me whispering and snickering while I was in the concession line. FINE. I wanted a hot chocolate. Nobody is available at the Starbucks counter. I miss the beginning of my movie waiting for nobody to show. During the movies I decided to go check, still nobody at the Starbucks counter. I decide to buy a candy and a pizza. The pizza was burnt. The candy was the sour straws. They were melted. The sugar was melted and all of the straws were stuck together. I call the guest services number and luckily they gave me a refund. BUT as far as everything else I guess it’s none of their business. This isn’t my first time having issues at century Point Ruston. But this experience is by far the worst.

Summer, your customer service gal at the ticket counter was on her phone - when we walked up to buy tickets, she did not greet or acknowledge us. We asked about rated R movies for our high school kids, she said they needed ID - when I presented my ID, she smirked, asked "oh is this your ID? Ok?" Again dismissive. I'm at least twice this front desk Rep's age, very rude. I did buy tickets for the girls, however, management needs to address Summer's bad customer service. This is Ruston.

A high quality theater experience. Order your tickets ahead online and pick out your reserved recliner seats. Seats are paired together sort of like a loveseat so you can snuggle with your date, but wide/big enough that if your sharing the seat with a stranger it's not awkward or weird.

As people know who have been there the seats are very comfortable and Lane's for walking or wide enough that you don't really disturb anybody and the employees are nice and very accommodating to your needs!

Century Point Ruston is the Northend's hottest cinema. If there's a line at concessions, don't worry boo, the staff is quick and friendly. Before you know it, you'll have in hand all the treats you need to put you in a diabetic coma. The ticket takers are also a delight. They'll point you to your theater and remind you to validate your parking at the convenient kiosks. Please be sure to have your smart phone ready with your QR code. And don't be one of those uncool losers who still prints out your tickets at home. It's 2019, for the love of Cher! The theaters are clean, and gurrrl, those recliners are comfy. And yes, these are theaters, not your home. Please leave your shoes on.

This is one of the only places I go to see movies. The seating is fantastic and I've not had issues with people talking during movies. The food and drink selection is great too. I highly recommend going here even if you have to drive for a bit to make it.

One of our favorite theaters. Super comfy seats, tasty popcorn, ice cream for an extra treat, and a wonderful location to take a walk after the movie. Just be aware that the parking garage does fill up fast during peak busy hours (nights and weekends.) But you can enter your license plate number in the computer at the theater for free parking. Overall I highly recommend this place.. we joined the movie club for discount tickets and come back often.

You just can't beat having reserved seating. The recliner easy chairs are so comfortable you almost don't want to leave. Others can walk by while your legs are actually extended. Now that's amazing! Temperature in the theater was kept very comfortable. And we don't have to stand in line very long to get our drinks and snacks. The electronic ticket purchase and parking kiosk was seamless.

This is my new Fav Theater for Date night. Too bad its not closer to Lacey! But def in an up and coming down town beachside plaza. When the construction in the area is done this place will def be a destination. Super clean and new. Free parking in the garage with your plate number! Will def be a return customer with those electric reclining lazyboy style theater seats. Watching new releases in style and comfort. Food is like all theathers way over priced and very mediocre but that is to be expected. Sadly, you cant order real food and a beer there yet . . . . Hint hint hint!!

A fantastic find. It's small, but it's cozy. It's on the Tacoma waterfront, so you get more than what you pay for. Dinner, a movie and a walk or ride on the waterfront? I went on discount day, so $6 a ticket. It's new, so they've got a nice concession stand, recliners and even a birthday party room? Nice amenities and really friendly kids. They will even validate your parking for 5 hours! Food prices are not good, but this is to be expected from a movie theater, but $4+ for water? I suggest you bring your own. Service - 5 Prices - 4 Comfort - 4 Value - 4

Great staff, great seating, quite clean/presentable. Concessions were priced very reasonably. They had some shirts that are exclusive, and those were even priced reasonably. The only downfall is it's far from the bus line. If you were on foot or using public transportation. So worth the money and was very impressed by everything. If i could go again i would!

Lay down seats with the ability to select your seat ahead of time is nice. Parking is difficult on the weekends. They offer a military discount on evening tickets. Adjacent to many restaurants, shops, and bars. I would avoid late night showings because you run the risk of falling asleep in their comfortable seats.

So, when one attends a kids movie with their kids, who happen to be kids and not robots, one is likely to find the terrible staff here have no patience with small kids (at a kids movie) and will kick you out for the smallest reason. Seems like the teenage staff members need to loosen their skinny jeans and chill the f@#& out. Awesome location physically, but I will not be returning due to their asinine views on children at children's movies.

It wasn't that great at all. We used the ticket machine outside to print our preordered tickets. It only printed one ticket out so we went inside to get the other. They told us to check the machine again that it might be stuck in the printer, which it wasn't. Then I get told rudely that it did print and I probably just missed it, so they wrote my ticket # and the movie name on the back of a piece of paper as our "ticket." Then we were told there'd be no intermission for gone with the wind...there was. We got to the concession stand and we went to pay and the machine said approved. The guy hit a button then quickly hit another button and moved the monitor around and said "uh, your card was declined." We checked our bank and sure enough it was taken out then put right back in as if he'd hit the wrong button and then canceled it to correct his error. The popcorn was WAY too salty so a whole large got thrown away cause the refill was the same way. It was just an awful experience especially on our wedding anniversary. These areas could use a LOT of work! Unsure if we'll return to this theater

We go here every Tuesday for discount night. Get their app and book your time in advance as it is reserved seating. Depending on the movie it can fill up fast. Prices for food are far better than any other local theater. Parking is free with validation.

I took my grandchildren to see the Grinch movie. It was my first time at Century Point. I ordered my tickets online and reserved my seats. There was 5.75 up charge for using online on their website. I'm sure it's less expensive if you use Fandango. The tickets were 9.25 adult, 8.25 child and 8.25 senior. With the up charge the was 32.00. A large popcorn, LG soda and 2 candies totaled 28.00. Grand total 60.00 for the 3 of us at 12 p.m matinee. Well, the seats were great you can either sit up or lay back. They were very comfortable and motorized. It was a little spendy for me but the grandkids had fun. As the Grinch says love and kindness is what matters!

I purchased a ticket at the kiosk this evening, and it wasn't until after the ticket was torn by the ticket taker that I realized the ticket was for the wrong date. When I brought my ticket to the front desk to change it to the correct date, both the ticket clerk and the manager, Edward immediately treated me as if I had picked up a ticket off of the ground and was attempting to steal twelve dollars from them. They were both incredibly rude and referred to my ticket as the ticket I "thought" I bought outside. To his great surprise, Edward was actually able to find the receipt of my ticket from the ticket clerk and grant me a refund, after he had previously told me "there is probably not gonna be anything we can do." For future reference, I just want to suggest treating people as if they are being honest and genuine until you find out otherwise. It should not be your immediate instinct to treat a customer, or any fellow human being for that matter, like a liar and a thief. I guess I will have to see all of my future movies at any other theater.

This is a nice little Theater near the water. You may want to get there early so you won’t be late for your movie because you will have to find parking. Parking fills up and now there is a charge for parking to visit the waterfront, but if you attend the movie your parking is validated for free. I will definitely visit again since it’s close to home and I don’t have to go anywhere near I-5 to get there.

Maybe turn the heat on, it's January!!!! That theater was so cold I was literally shivering. And does anyone work there? Nobody was around to take our tickets and direct us to our movie. I think for the price of going to the movies now days, there should be heat and live people around when you need them, maybe some professionalism is what this place needs.

We really enjoy this theater complex. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable seats (love the recliners) and well-maintained restrooms. I use a walker and my daughter (who is also my caregiver) is visually impaired. Given the design of most - modern day - movie theaters, (lots of stairs), Century Point Ruston is one of the more accessible theaters, in the Tacoma area, for us to navigate. The reasonably wide aisles and adequate space to (carefully) place a folded walker are appreciated.

So good, even the front row seat isn't so terrible thanks to those reclining chairs. Perfect for a date night, dinner and a movie. And if you want bonus points, with the five hour parking pass (free, just register your plate with local merchants) you'll have enough time to take your date ot for a nice stroll by the lake. It's a one stop shop!

One of my favorite theaters but I just wish the headrest reclined back as well (like Lakewood AMC) not just the foot rest. I always have neck pain afterwards, but besides that I always enjoy the features and the popcorn is pretty good and doesn’t make me sick compared to some other theaters.

I like this theater more than some of the others I've been to. Unfortunately the seat I had sat in, the mechanism to lift the chair leg is very worn down. It was making jerking motions and sounded like it was about to die. Other than that particular incident, customer service has always been great and the place seems to kept clean at all times.

I love their reclining seats and cheaper prices than regal. Their screens are smaller than regal but it so roomey, I fit my purse next to me on the seat. They sell out quick so maybe buy your tickets online and ahead of time. The area is also beautiful for a walk or to eat out.
