Have you been? If you have then you know why i gave it 1 star. If you haven’t, then don’t even waste your time. I’m not sure what the city of Columbia is planning to do with this piece of land, but the mall is deserted - nothing to see. Maybe Burlington Coat Factory is the only thing going for this area.

A great shame. I can tell this mall was once an okay place to drop in particularly looks appealing for the high school crowd with a simple layout. The greatest asset is far and away the AMC theater (which requires it's own review). No food court worth mentioning. Very few stores to pick from. What store you have are deep urban style or a Burlington Coat factory. Of course there is a Chinese buffet that is an inexpensive price for a selection to match. There are the usual nail and hair shops you would expect to find and there is that. Two good anchors, some food and a few attention drawing shops outside the mall is probably too much to ask for. I will still go for the theater.

How can you even consider this a mall? Most of the stores are closed. If you can even get past the awful smell to shop good luck. I would never eat from there as the condition is terrible. Very outdated. Been there twice and never again.

This place has really fallen off. The surrounding businesses are good. Planet fitness is a good addition to the mall. The new Dollar Tree is in a good spot. The movie theater is really keeping this place alive. Bring back stores.

I love the Burlington store. There are never enough cashier's to check you out tho. If a holiday is approaching, forget it. You'll be in there all day. Some of the items are too expensive. Have to pick and choose.

Not as busy as other theaters so you have a better chance to see the movie you want when you want. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Parking is pretty easy too. I don't care much for all the new 3D stuff but the standard screens are good and the theaters are clean.

Bullington instead of Burlington due to a young African American female yelled for me not to push a buggy out the door. I am a 30 year retired disabled veteran would was using the buggy to walk to my handicap parking space.There are no power operated electrical walking assistance equipment.

Ruby Tuesday's at Dutch Square, Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC is a nice dining experience. The food is very good. You should keep coming back because along with delicious entrees you have a nicely arranged salad bar. However, upon almost each visit we find the waiters and waitresses lacking prompt and courteous help making our dining experience so much better.

A sad, dying mall, the two anchors are a decent movie theatre and an oversized planet fitness. Food court has some great hidden gems like the Crab Shack. Lots of empty space and local shops that are not very visually appealing.

Don’t go to this mall expecting a traditional shopping mall- it is an old mall that has lost most of its stores. There is a Burlington where you can buy clothes, accessories and housewares. There is a gym and a theatre and that’s about the extent of it. The theatre doesn’t have reclining seats but it is fairly well maintained and if you go to the matinee on the weekend, tickets are only $5.

We went to Dollar Tree to pick up deco for a craft party we are having. Problem...I keep looking for a blond/ brown eyebrow pencil. The only thing they carry in the long pencil is *** Black. This one, the new one on Two Notch Rd., Rosewood, and Forest acres. I will find out Why.

There are not a lot of vendors in this mall. According to one vendor, they ate only at 40% capacity. The mall is dead and the vendors that are there cater to the hip hop type of customers.

The mall seems really rundown from the outside. I haven't been there for much more than the movie theater but it does not seem the best. If you are looking for malls in Columbia there are a few others that seem better. I would not recommend being there around night time as well.

Unless you're heading to a matinee at the theaters then steer clear of this place. Clientele has really fallen off and you certainly don't want to visit after dark. Not as bad as Columbia Mall, but a close second. Sad. Used to be such a great place.

Went to watch Venom at Theater. Movie was good, average prices for movies these days (which is crazy, lol) $5 for a bag of M&M's that's just barely larger than a regular bag from a gas station is ridiculous. A large popcorn & large drink is $15. Wow, I thought I was at the fair with those prices. Not to mention the popcorn isn't even popped there. They pour it from big bags! I won't complain too much about the prices because I knew that going in. But we were there for a movie at 4:45 pm and the theater looked like it might after a 9 pm movie. Popcorn & trash everywhere. The theater had not been cleaned from the last movie. I couldn't believe that they didn't clean in between showings. It wasn't a little popcorn, it was everywhere. Not like maybe someone missed a row, it was clearly not cleaned. The ladies bathroom was the same way with trash flowing over on the floor. There were several people working the concession stand, well let me rephrase that. There were several employees behind the counter of the concession stand with only 2 people working, 1 of which was training someone new. The others were talking among themselves. Maybe they were on a break but clearly not working. Butter dispensers were only working on one side of the theater. It seems like they are over staffed with people that don't work and the ones that were working didn't have time to do everything that needed to be done. It mite have been an off day and not the norm but they definitely have plenty of room for improvement. The movie was good though. Lol. Hopefully they were just short staffed they day I went.

Dutch Square Mall was a really nice mall that, like many malls has slipped in one sense but grown very nicely in another. It is located in what some would call a largely Urban population and from a non-Urban person's point of view, appears to cater very nicely to that segment of America. The mall's one shortcoming is a poor variety of restaurants.

The theatre is where son and I were. I would give more stars if they allowed licensed Concealed Carry holders to enter; even when no security or deputy is present. Otherwise it's a nice place to go see a movie. Prices are fair depending on what's bought.

Dutch square mall is an OK mall that is not as badd as another mall that I rated that is facing a very slow and painful death. However it is another place that would benefit from some urban development and some investment. It has a movie theater maybe 1 or 2 places to eat and some decent shops but they're also a lot of places that are empty in there and like I said before urban development and investment.

i am very upset. i usually go her to have some relaxtion by watching a movie. i usually go 2-3 a month, but i cant do that anymore. Cause my car was broken into on friday between 3-6. and there are no camaras. so i have now stuck with 500.00 to fix my car. There is no protection or security camaras that actually work. i got a police report , and the police office said this was his 5th case just on his shift. not know how many more their are. how dissappointing.

This place has never left the 80s. The amount of renovations that needs to be done with this place is astronomical. Almost every part of this mall is falling apart. It truly is a wonder how the structure hasn't collapsed under its own weight. I expect this pace to close within the next 10 years, as shopping here is not a wonderful experience.
