The lady was extremely rude and short they wont let you in if your five minutes late!!! I would not go here if you paid me to.

Andrew Hordern

2 hours Complimentary parking at Pier 21 car park when you watch the movie. Interesting historical context, especially talking about the rebuilding and the slope of Galveston.

Choice of short historical films running continuously during the day. Comfortable seats. Clean restroom facilities. Friendly staff. Nice selection of Galveston memorabilia in gift shop... Many items reasonably priced. A great way to get a glimpse into the background of Galveston.

Sydney Britton

Quality short films that will rivet you with the incredible and the entertaining facets of Galveston's history. Younger viewers or even adults who are more sensitive may find 'The Great Storm' too intense, so be aware of this before deciding which film to see.

This is the second Wed this theater was closed! Yet website says open. I'm so mad my mother in law was in town and we planned this. I was told they were closed both days because there was no one to work! This is pitiful for a business. Never be back!

Ethan Singletary

Great short films about Galveston history. But make sure to get there at least 15 minutes before showtime. If no one is there the skip that screening.

Went to watch "The Great Storm" and "THE PIRATE ISLAND OF JEAN LAFFITE. They were very interesting to watch. The Great Storm was very sad but told the story very well. Also at this location, dolphin tours - fun. One of a couple of places giving you a tour of the port.

This was a great find on our trip to Galveston. I had done previous research on the devastating hurricane, and this gave me new information I wasn't aware of. 27 minutes.

The woman selling tickets was rude and impatient with standard questions. Also 12$ for 2 tickets to a 20 minute movie on Lafitte is ridiculous. It should be half that or less.

Very nice destination. There was a mildew odor but, there were worker present trying to remedy and renovate. It’s in decent condition and really nice gift shop. Loved the movie.

They show historical movies about Galveston Island. Really fun!! And interesting. The great flood and hurricane of 1900, Jean Lafitte, the pirate who took over the island for a time and they had one on the development of the city which was once the largest in Texas, and full of gambling and all that goes with...

Loved it!!!! Good movies!!!

Mr Wolfgang

Great historical value. The movies are good although a little dated.

Glitz Katz

I love seeing the documentary. I would love to go back

Jeff Loftin

The movies were made in 1993, and not for kids in any way. The "Great Storm" video discussed people carrying bodies and burning them. We asked if it was kid friendly and were assured it was before entering. Do not pay for this movie, it should be free at a visitor center.
