Our family has gone through tremendous grief and change in the loss of my father in law. Over the holidays he was in hospice and passed away in January. We called Crown Memorial in Tualatin, OR and talked with Serena. From the start she helped guide us through everything we needed to do at time of this death. Her patience, kindness and knowledge was incredible. She was there for picking him up, helping us with decisions about his burial, funeral planning, was there and directed the funeral that went very smoothly and even helped us understand the process of death certificates and other paperwork we needed to take care of. At such a hard and emotional time in our family, Crown Memorial and Serena helped us so much in making it through.

The owners of this business are scammers. Do not purchase anything extra from them they will over charge you. They order their caskets from online without checking anything but the color. The gurney they used for my mother fell down and she split her eyebrow while the family watched and the workers were stoned out of the minds. They management at this company will just throw few bucks at you. Do not go to these savages they are only after the dollar bill not helping people in their community. Very dissatisfied and will never forget the way I saw my mother be taken away like garbage

The only negative is they got my husbands date of birth wrong on the Death Certificate. I had to make extra trips to get corrected copies.

Double check the paperwork. Had wrong person, living and deceased. the birth date was wrong. and misspelling. Really should proof the papers prior to handing to the customer to sign. The customer's state of mind usually is distraught and may not notice.

Crown Memorial in Milwaukie exceeded my expectations. Tiffany respectfully and adeptly guided me and my family through the days following our Mother's passing. Tiffany was very knowledgeable about the processes that needed to be attended to, and provided options, services, and directions. She was very easy to work with, flexible, and caring. I feel like I could go back to her at any time with followup questions, and she would be right there for me. I highly recommend considering this great group of people!

I highly recommend these folks. No one wants to deal with this but it's so much less stressful with good people who are not out to rob you during this awful time. From the first contact, I have had nothing but superior service and attention with the utmost respect for me and my father who passed away. They came to pick him up at the time I asked which was important so I could say goodbye and also to not disrupt the other residents in his facility. I had a gentle call to discuss when we could meet to do the needed paperwork. They told me the price up front when I asked and it never changed. I asked for them to email it to me so I could read it first so I knew what to prepare for. They offered to let me sign it all in my own or make an appt to meet with them in the office. I ended up deciding to go in since this is the first time I have had to deal with this type of situation. I met with Gilligan and she was exactly what I needed. She was polite and caring in a very calm and delicate way. She did not overdo her condolences which could have sent me over the edge to bawling my eyes out. She went over each question easily and quickly. She never ever tried to upsell me anything and never made me feel guilty about how much or little I was planning to spend on these expenses. She really helped me understand it all and I feel good about working with her. Never once did the price change from the original quote. Literally the only fees not included where filling fees with the state and certificate fees (of which the facility did not get paid for but they did the work for you). As I said before I highly recommend this company and will use them again when needed. Thank you for all of your help and courtesy.

The two gentlemen that arrived at my mothers home to pick up her body were above respectful!! So caring and treated my mothers body with absolute respect. The lady staff member at the viewing seemed a little unkind. Maybe after years she has became numb to the emotions of family members. But, for the most part Crown is a very nice place and staff is respectful!

THEY DROPPED MY DADS BODY!! Dad passed away and Crowns transport team (2 young kids) came to pick up his body after Hospice contacted him. They arrived and we warned them that Dad might be difficult to move he was 6'4" and 269lbs. We warned them that they might want to consider using the other exit in the house as well as a stronger better gurney. All suggestions were poo-pooed and they did what THEY wanted. As they rolled him through the kitchen through the door transitioning outside on the little deck area the lost their grip and my dad was dropped sideways. Gurney tipped and now STUCK!! It was HORRIBLE to witness these guys pull and tug as if they were moving a dishwasher out of the house. Nothing in that moment can describe the shock, disbelief and pain that came from witnessing this traumatic moment!! Everything they tried WASNT working the gurney was pinned in between the deck sidewalls and the house. I finally call 911 for a lift assist team to come out. Upon arrival just before 911 team came out Crown unwedged my Dad's body/gurney and WAS able to roll him in van. I was speechless and horrified. They got him to crematorium. Then later after discussing what had happened they offered us a 50℅ "Courtesy" (poor choice of words gang) discount for their questionable service. Long story short I would definitely think long and hard Before choosing to save a few dollars and caring service. Our deck is full of scratches reminding us everyday of these guys and this horrible event. Having a love one passing away in itself is enough stress on family. Let alone adding to it that you've unfortunately now hired a group of incompetent people to complete the crematorium final steps. I would NEVER recommend this company. The money saved traded for horrible memories was NOT worth it. This is one new tradition we could have done without. RIP Dad SO sorry!!!

streamline system, easy to do everything by phone via the Internet and email. As well as the cheapest place in the area by far. Attention to detail and empathetic compassion seem to be the creed at Crown Memorial Center. Thank you so much for just getting this part of the process over with I greatly appreciate it.

❌❌❌8/22/17- Check public records they are being sued for negligence. Mixed up cremated bodies and gave them to the wrong families. Do your research into this company they have been all over the news. They need to be out of business.

Crown was amazing when my mother passed. The young gentlemen that came and picked her up were respectful and treated her like she was their own mother. The gals, Serena and Ashley in the office areas were compassionate and refreshing considering the situation. Serena worked with us when it came time to explain to my 6 year old son that grandma had passed. We were able to share with him within the lobby with a full visual for him to understand and ask questions and then had the opportunity to say good bye to grandma with a short viewing for him and my daughter. I highly recommend Crown in Tualatin. My step dad was so impressed that he requested to be cremated there as well.... (Which will be happening within the next day or two.) Thank you Crown for being professional, respectful, compassionate and making a tough situation easier for us.

My mother recently passed away and I just completed arrangements for her at the Tualatin Oregon location of Crown Memorial center. The person that picked up her body left a 30 page book/magazine format publication that had a lot of helpful information in it. It also contained the questions needed to fill out the death certificate application. This allowed me to prepare before the actual meeting with the folks in the Crown office. This reduced my stress levels a lot. Dustin Drake (the funeral director I worked with) was extremely helpful, kind and understanding. He made what was a difficult task much better than I was expecting/hoping for. I highly recommend Crown Memorial if you need these services.

Crown is under FBI criminal investigation for stealing body parts. I just read a single stolen body made into parts could raise over $5,000. I feel suckered by their adds of no hidden fees and trust. I would rather have been charged a hidden fee any day, rather then find out my dead family members body parts might have been stolen and sold off. Not much has made this mad.
