The assistance and compassion received after the passing of a neighbor was so above normal that five stars doesn't come close. The Hawker Funeral Home staff really cares about those in mourning and surpasses all expectations of the services while respecting the wishes, feelings, and dignity of the deceased and those in morning. I rarely give any review 5 stars - but Perry and his crew are simply an amazing group of people that care for people at a very difficult time. I do not know how they stay sensitive and caring yet retain a beautiful sense of humor. My dad died a year ago, which brings me to this moment of reflection on Hawkers. I remember sitting with my mom and sister, and Perry, discussing dad's death, on THE DAY HE DIED, and there was a moment that we were discussing my father, and it was a funny moment, and Perry got it. He knows when to be sensitive, but he also knows when it's ok to laugh about our loved ones. I will never forget Perry and the rest of the staff as well - because they were also so warm and wonderful towards us. They really helped make a very difficult time a little more bearable. For that I am forever grateful to them. Blessings.
