The team at Sunland were so respectful, patient and willing to hear the story of mom and than work within those wishes. The chapel was beautiful, the flowers were amazing and the team walked us through each step. Never once was I exposed to overspending or I must have this or that. My experience was generally very positive. The main person was respectful and very helpful. But the financial representative was not I was not treated respectfully regarding an resentatresereoutstanding bill of less than $50.00. I was made to feel as if I was trying to avoid paying. Further, there was an unimaginable error regarding picking up my aunt's remains. For some reason that I did not want to explore, the funeral home representatives got into my aunt's apartment at 3:00 in the morning, waking me and shocking me instead of getting my aunt from the on site medical facility So despite the superior service of the main representative, overall it was a negative and shocking experience.

I visited Sunland a few days before the anticipated death of my mother to review prepaid services that had been arranged by her nearly 25 years earlier, and found that all their records and plans were already in place. When she passed, I received a streamlined accounting of current charges, was able to dispose of the administrative details in half an hour, and attended a somber cremation 5 days later. Christopher and his team did everything possible to make a difficult situation as easy as possible. He was wonderful at discussing all the different options available while never make me feel pressured to do anything. They were very accommodating when I requested changes be made and even went the extra mile when we noticed a typo on the cards. For me, this sad and detailed experience was made easier to bear by the kind, thoughtful and organized Judy Walter, Funeral Director. Dad had a prepaid funeral so I didn’t have much guesswork. It was painful none the less. Every person I came in contact with, including Father Tye, was kind and genuinely compassionate. Dad and Mom chose Sunland for their own reasons and I am greatful they did. I will be having another funeral in our home state soon and will choose Dignity Glastonbury Funeral Home for the wake. My husband’s family had my Mother-in-laws service there and they were just as kind, professional and compassionate as Sunland was to me.

Kimberly of Sunlands made rude and inconsiderate comments in a condescending tone to him. She had the audacity to tell him "These things should be planned.." that is totally uncalled for and not OK.
