My wife passed away and Troy and the entire staff at Richardson funeral home were so nice and helped me with everything that needed to be done and they went above and beyond. My services were also very hard due to I had to send my wife out of state. They worked with the other funeral home and the airport to make sure everything was taken care of. They even came in on the holidays and stayed late to get everything ready for my wife. They also make sure that you have after funeral information for social security and grief counseling. I called around to a few places and I'm really glad I went with Richardson Funeral home. I highly recommend them and they are not pricey but provide first class professional service.

We didnt have a service here in AZ but did have the comfort of knowing Troy and Polly were there to take care of things. I researched in a very short time the funeral homes in the area we could use to take care of arrangements for our Dad after his passing. They took the time to listen to what our needs were and then made recommendations and suggestions that they thought would satisfy our needs and were very cost conscious at the same time. The memorial services as well the burial services were beautiful and were carried out very efficiently as planned. Troy and his staff assisted in arranging for an escort, helped us arrange for the music, helped us pick and arrange for flowers. The programs for the service were perfect for the occasion. I called these kind folks while at Carr-Tenney- Resthaven being pressured to pay large $ for services I did not want. Polly answered the phone and was SO NICE, stopped what she was doing, answered my questions, and helped me escape from the clutches of those evil people at the other funeral home. She encouraged me to come in at my convenience even though they were busy and once there, the owner Troy, made the time to sit down with us to explain what they offered, pricing, options, etc and turned what started as a HORRIBLE experience at CTR into a great experience with kind people who actually wanted to help. Once we settle on a plan, Troy and Polly made it happen and retrieved my loved one from the clutches of the other guys the same afternoon. I will be forever grateful for their help and handling of our needs in our time of sorrow. And while I am not anxious to have more reasons to see them, I will absolutely go back to them if and when I need funeral home services again.

My sweet father passed away Thursday afternoon. As he was in hospice, my family had chosen Richardson's Funeral Home last April to handle the arrangements. Troy Richardson's wonderful Funeral Home supports my dad's parish and I thought how wonderful that they "give back!" Imagine our delight to have such a caring compassionate team help us with dads passing after 6 months of hospice. From the quick, dignified pick up of my father's body (thank you Owen), from the initial call to Tim to make the arrangements in April, the team offered compassion and service with grace and dignity for us!! Troy met with us the next day and was wonderful helping us make arrangements. As my 4 siblings are all across the US - we needed signatures from all for cremation. I have had emails from Troy all weekend and even last night at 10:26 pm handling the details of this process. What an amazing place and staff!! Troy was with me every step of the way! I was literally watching my dad fading away and I had no direction or idea on what to do once he passed. I called Troy to just understand what I should do and he was so informative, caring, and patient with me. Unfortunately, my dad passed the day after I talked to him.... I was in another world and so sad, so I did all I could think of and called Troy he was so caring and told me to take as much time I needed and he would come to hospice when hospice called. When he came he was so caring and sweet! And from there he just continued extreme care with my dad and my family. He was so responsive any time I contacted him, he was patience especially when certain details to the service would change, and always there to just talk it through! The service was beautiful and Troy plus Polly were by my side with encouraging words and support! The funeral home is so beautiful and amazing! When my brother passed I didn’t know what to do or how to take care of the funeral or anything. Richardson Funeral Home helped me with more than just the funeral. They sent us cards in the mail, they offered there condolences, they took over the planning of the service, etc. My brother unfortunately ended his own life, but you could of never known that after seeing how well Richardson did up my brother. Troy and Polly were professional, compassionate, and helpful coordinating everything. This was a hectic time for us with family coming in from both the west coast and east coast. What I appreciated the most was Troy replying to all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. Most of the time, the reply was immediate. When time is of essence and the answers dependent on what we needed to do next, Troy's quick responses were invaluable. My uncle was interned at the National cemetery 2 weeks after the funeral and Troy was there to deliver his ashes and he stayed for the memorial. He didn't have to stay but he did. It turned out that I and our son's step-mother were reviewing and impressed with online searches of Richardson Funeral Home simultaneously. We, Mike's biological mother and father (and spouses), his sister (her husband and daughter) met with Mark the following day and his sincere care, listening ability and a keen sense of where and how, concern and information were needed was impressive and appreciated. Troy and staff met and exceeded all of our (reasonable) requests professionally and expeditiously. When I had finished the obituary draft for our Son (Michael) I sent it to Polly for her review and opinion. She was not only very responsive but suggested very sound changes that made this Obituary as meaningful and heartfelt as his survivors could have imagined. EVERYTHING was handled professionally, expeditiously and with genuine care and concern. Would recommend them to anyone in need of this assistance! They do go above and beyond.
