You may have noticed that the average score it has is very good, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we can say that the assessment is very accurate. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they are satisfied, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Mall belongs to the category of Shopping mall.
It's a Mall, of stores, near 205. There are a lot of businesses along this stretch and some view it as prime real estate for running a business where people from the north and south can get to quickly.
Worst Homedepot in Portland. Super crowded with people and product.
Right off the freeway...Home Depot...perfect. Lots of parking... enough space for travel trailers and motorhomes.
11/19/2018 I don't have a problem with the Mall. My issue is with Jan Jensen (Mall Security). Jan is angry & racist. I work with him when G4S had the account. Jan was left in charge for a week because the site supervisor went on vacation & made that head case the lead. He would escalate any situation & chased drug addicts into dangerous areas. Which can put his co-workers in a bad position. There was another racist guard named Carla. Carla was a proud Trump supporter, and she looked the part. Carla quit, and Jan Jensen told me that he believed she quit because I'm black. After that, I didn't trust him all together. He's extremely toxic.
I walked in and walked around a little bit. Not one person said hi or asked if I needed help. Not a way to run your business. And the cashier's were complaining they just wanted to go home.
Love target and famous footwear
Always love fixing up things around the house and adding to my tool collection. They've got some really good prices.
Great grouping of stores!
Huge variety of stores and places to eat. Would definitely recommend for a quick trip to the store or even to go out to eat
Mall 205 is essentially two stores, Target and Home Depot. The rest of the mall is mostly empty, but it could be revamped with smaller or independent retailers to make the mall more unique compared to the other malls.
It's not exactly how I picture a mall but I do come here a lot.
Quite a diverse population in this neck of the woods...but found what we needed and left.
Great Mall, shop all the time, great deals and sales
Love the availibity of the shops parking is choice during the off busy hours.
Not a bad little area for East Portland
I love the convenience of Home Depot...and my beautiful uncle
Huge place, and their service is great.
This place is sad to be in. Most shops have moved out. Bed Bath and Beyond looks so lonely. This place is soon becoming a dirty flea market type strip mall. Home Depot, Target, and Bed Bath and Beyond seems to be the only reason people come here. Other than the DMV located inside the mall.
Can't DIY without this place Homedepot
Love home Depot always friendly very clean for being the type of store it is the staff is always helpful too
Wwnt here for a card show, small mall, but gets rhe job done
Its not like other malls Ive been too. Apparently the property owners dont like people just spending time hanging out. Security kicked me out today while I was sitting and charging my phone up while I journaled. So dont plan on just having a day chillin, its show and spend game here.
Visited homedepot. Was able to walk in and get what we needed with no issues. The people who work here were super nice and friendly. One of the homedepots I visit regularly
This is where our favorite Olive Garden is. I love their alfredo sauce and salad.
Love Home Depot
This is basically a corpse of a mall. There is Home Depot on one end, Target on the other, and in Bed Bath & Beyond and a 24 Hour Fitness I believe basically in the middle. Between all that there's pretty much nothing except for a few stores here and there essentially trying to hold on. Usually the only people you will find Wandering in the mall are older people getting exercise or basically a person that shot and Target and now wants to shop at Bed Bath & Beyond. There is a massive amount of parking available which I guess is a plus LOL. They've been trying to revitalize the small for years and management assume having bigger anchor stores would attract more people and other stores in to the mall. For time it did but that didn't last long and it's essentially as I said a corpse. It's really a shame because I can remember when this was a very active Mall back in the day with a movie theater and all the venue's filled with different stores. Hopefully one day it gets back to what it once was but it's not looking good
Why is this even a mall, why does this exist? Bunch of bleh-o kiosks selling cheap China stuff. Pretty much just go for the DMV.
A decent enough place. However, without Target, Home Depot, and DMV located there; I don't think the mall would survive. Lots of vacant space, and not enough "mom and pop" variety shops to browse. Rumor has it that construction is happening soon to make it an "open air" mall sort of like bridgeport village or the like.
Went to America's Best Eyeglass to have my glasses adjusted. They are always friendly and helpful. When one person is unable to help you, they call on another. My glasses are hard to fit, probably because my face is slightly lopsided. They kept working at getting my frames right so they were comfortable to me. Prices on exams and glasses are great too!
At least there is a Home Depot and Target.... horrible depressing Mall.
Every time I go to get something I need I end up with another pretty plant like this one I got yesterday. For the most part the staff is very helpful. I found out in the garden center any of the bags that that have been ripped open are half price like the dirt and rocks and such
I am taking time out, from being a Christian philosopher, to care for your temporal bodies. It is my hope that you will read my other reviews to become a devout, actual Christian: not a deluded Mammonite whom the devil has deluded. I was here when it was opened; my aunt and uncle brought me to the resplendent food court. It was once, in the early eighties, considered to be a great mall. You will discover why it failed when you study the access roads. At Clackamas Town Center, there are isolation lanes that allow you to drift, off of Sunnyside Road, into the mall. These lanes allow high speed traffic to be insulated from entering and exiting from Clackamas mall. Well, the designers of Mall 205 did not feel the need for these, at all. Hence, you have high speed traffic, coming up 96th. The blind corner, near the Target store, has been the site of many crashes. The exit offers dreadful visibility, around a blind curve, with oncoming traffic, traveling at 40 MPH. I know, they lowered it to 30, which most people ignore. If you do not have great Faith, avoid this exit. The other exit on 102nd also does not have an isolation lane. The visibility is better but the oncoming traffic are coming much faster. Also, the designers placed their exits, east and west, facing parallel exits across the street from each other. How they could not foretell that head-on collisions would occur, your guess is as good as mine. I put it down to the rampant drug use of the hippie's era. During the late seventies, many people were on LSD, that is why they are currently voting 'progressive.' (decadent) The safest exit is at the top, on Washington Street. Yes, you will face the densest traffic but it is the safest exit / entrance. The side exits are quite perilous. The point of this review is to save lives. If you want Mammonite information, about the merchants, I will not be able to help you. I am a servant of Lord Jesus, not a Mammonite consumer robot. It is my hope that you will avoid this area. I live not too far from here; I never shop here. It is just too dangerous. I avoid 96th; it is always congested. The one lane, each way, was designed when Portland had 300,000 not 2,000,000. Be Sure You Are Right With Lord Jesus Before Using The Side Exits. Q.E.D.
I think the Santa thought my 12 year old was too old to give her wish list cause he wasn't really paying attention to her until it was almost time to go and she had to get his attention to tell him. I think the mall is great though.
Im perplexed as to why this strip mall is called a mall? There is nothing remotely "mall like" here.
It's like the lite version of corporate big box gone over-ripe. I hope they turn all these huge department stores into art spaces or unique marketplaces but whatever. If you need one of these stores listed on the whatever tou're using, fo there and ar least get out of the house.
I love homedepot
It's not like it use to be,I liked it better when it was all under the same roof
Somehow it survives,.... A nearly vacant shell of a once thriving mall
There are not a lot of small shops here, the draw is mostly Target, Home Depot, 24 Hour Fitness, Bed Bath and Beyond, Performance Bikes and Famous Footwear. The pizza shop and gyro place are excellent, though, and a few other vendors and storefronts are nice.
Kinda small, but the pizza joint is very good.
Not a great mall. Half the stores are closed and the other half are struggling to survive. And then you get to the parking lot where there's panhandlers and car thieves
too many closed spots where stores should be. mall 205 needs to lower their lease prices for these spots because they've been empty for literally years. there's a bed bath and beyond, a shoe store, a 24 hour fitness, home depot and a target. (I'm pretty sure theres also a cell phone store, pizza place, nail salon, bike repair and one or two other stores I've NEVER visited and probably won't ever need to.) but all and all the mall is almost totally empty and mostly dead. they even just shut down the GNC I used to go to all the time there (I'm a member of 24 hr fitness) two stars because the place is clean and easily accessible from I205. good restuarants around there too. (red Robin, olive garden, panda Express, baja fresh, etc.)
Went there to get my wife's glasses from America's best there was parking right up front
Used to ride my bike here all the time as a kid. Now I can hardly recognize the place
It's your typical mall but I was able to find everything I needed. Buses go right by there as well so it makes it convenient if you don't feel like driving or don't have a car.
Quick DMV! Giant stores and small ones, nice mix
Great place 2 shop
This place is good if you are looking for a specific item
It's not the greatest looking mall but they have the essentials. I go to the 24 hour fitness there, I tan at Lux Tan and that's my local Target oh and the DMV.
Clean atmosphere & semi friendly security staff. Not a lot of stores at this point. Just a small mall with a few stores. Local DMV is also located here.
Good location, good lumber department. As always, I prefer Depot over Lowes.
My favorite place here is target
It a nice place. It might seem empty at times though.
Mall 205. Where to start? Probably that it has Home Depot and Target as the big box anchors, but there some good stuff in here. There is actually a mall part too. It has more chains, like Bed Bath and Beyond, but a jewelry store I think, but here and there throughout there are some local places to eat and some oddball shops.
Has some great stores here famous footwear
I feel like more shops should look into mall 205 for a location. The mall seems to be running because of target, home Depot, and bed bath and beyond; otherwise it would probably close. More food options would be an amazing idea, or even a frozen yogurt spot. Mall 205 has been around for years and I really hope to see more venders inside of it.
Staff are usually helpful, much better than store on Johnson creek rd.
Poor social choices of the owner to support the cheeto occupying the white house
My husband loves this store
I tried to give it 205 stars but was limited. Silly Google. I like the retro shopping mall vibes here when I'm tired of Portland culture. Really takes me back.
The Home Depot is such a good place to shop. if you can't find it there. you're in trouble. they take great care of the customers.
Dev is the lamest place ever
Target farmacy was excellent good people
Went for a card show. It was really cool and I found some neat collectibles.
this mall is pretty dead, technically Home Depot is part of it and I shop here all the time. I don’t have an answer how to improve this Mall
A few useful big box stores anchoring a sad indoor strip mall. Good walkway to get between those big stores. Not much else inside. Odd religious store closed on Sundays? Check. Doors from Target to the mall closed at odd hours? Check. Bathrooms down long creepy hallway? Check. At least it's clean and bright. Good for seniors walking indoors.
Great example of a dying industry.
A convenient Target and a Home Depot is all that really keeps this place going. Empty store fronts and converted office space abound. A couple of restaurants that are ok, but better choices are just moments away.
I am in LOVE with Ozzie’s Deli sandwiches and anytime I’m in the area I buy a pocket sandwich add avocado spread. Yummy! I like that I can get my bike fixed at the repair shop, nails done, shop at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Famous Footwear and Home Depot. I get a work out at 24 hour fitness then head over to Red Robin and have a girls night out.
Good place to get food and drinks. I also have the ability to do some shopping.
The saddest part is this used to be a viable mall when Montgomery Ward anchored it. That's a long, long time ago. You've got Home Depot - a fourth rate hardware store. A Target that's one of the saddest in the city. And then there's the Bed, Bath and Beyond. It's tiny. The folks are nice - if you can find one. Then there's the athletic club. The less said the better. But the Mall itself. Sadness Desolation Emptiness (literally)
Love Target and Home Depot. Time to plant bulbs with fall coming. My son &family live there as well as my doctor. So I'm there every 3 months. I know a lot about Portland lived there 28 years.
It was in the middle of the highway. Some have skymall. I have highway mall
Hello Mall 205 & HomeDepot 3.7 stars ?in my opinion is generous wjen the store has the policies for manuvering innocent people into a vulnerable spot ~there isnt a chance thats plausable if what is going on continues then people that are alleged criminals will escalate the opportunity in the Home Depot environment~ i dont have another explaination only know thats human nature for alleged crimes to be inviting ~so therefore someone is rumored to be the expert in the neighborhood for expert skill in getting people arrested &sent to jail from Home Depot~as i hear it these employees here are looking foreard to me taking on some negotiation when im not going to & supposedly when it applies to others they can afford to do these favors to specific persons or person a favor &that task being done will get this case dismissed? Only im not go that route necuz 1heres no resources for frivolous social manuvering when im at the center of attention & so is my boyfriend ~ its about the laws that protect the Governor of Oregon ~that was a secret for alleged criminals to manuverer me social ecpnomic emorional abuses from strangers in this adverse show of power from the homeless &alleged criminals that i dont know~ im alleging are responsible & this is in my opinion a serious crime no doubt ~ sincerely
Variety of everything bed bath an beyond, the dmv, home depot, cricket I think. An a tmobile. Famous footwear an a target. Also across the street is a seafood restaurant never been but in the same area an to the left of home Depot there's a panda express. An a seven eleven on the left of panda.
I like this home depot it is a big enough one where you can find what you are looking for but it isn't so overwhelming that you just get lost trying to find an employee to help you or even a help button
Love me some Target and home Depot but those are the only reason to go lol
Lots of help and knowledgeable crew☺
Not too many stores anymore. Some nice big ones like Home Depot, Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. Ok for specific shopping, like if you are wanting to go to those stores, but no little"window shopping" stores to see. Not your traditional"Mall". If you are going for those stores, then it's great.
I don't know what more to say about mall 205 other than I no longer shop at Target and basically the mall has been relatively got it of all relevant retail stores but my five star rating and my pleasure with mall 205 being there is the fact that you have the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles located is there and the five star review is more for them because it was a very tolerable visit registering my car they have a system there where they are on top of people getting in line making sure that things are done exponentially and it's also quick getting through the DMV. It's a cozy little operation and everyone I came in contact working at the DMV, and yes I mean this when I say it, were very accommodating and very nice and very helpful. I recommend you go to the mall 205 DMV but I can't really recommend anything else associated with Mall 205
Good stores and food, parking isn't bad either
Nice mall, older with older stores but has a ton of shopping, nothing high end.
Do not bring your bike. Do not bring your car. Do not bring your kids. Come heavily armed and prepared to defend yourself. Heroin Ally. Slaver Central.
Lucky to have it close to home
This mall is dying. It has always sort of been an unpleasant place, but now it is mostly just empty. The shops that are still here are usually quite nice: well kept, friendly staff, etc. I hope some new businesses can revitalize this place.
Every two months or so my phone charger breaks. And it's always the same thing every time so I have to go to team mobile and every time it's more and more expensive. I had to buy a $40 charger because they said that's the charger I need and I found the original charger that my phone came with on Amazon for only $10.
I don't know I just don't like the traffic in the area, and now when I go to the Target there they never have clothes that fit me anymore. Target used to be my go-to place to find clothes that would fit, but I think I'm going to start going to Kohl's instead
Decent for the area. One star gone for the tweaker presence.
Ghetto, no it's just sad how the malls of America are fading away. Never Ever leave ANYTHING in site in your car!
Nice people and lots of stores or take a long walk in the mall.
Sad to see that this mall has turned into a virtual ghost town. There's a Home Depot, Target, Bed/Bath/Beyond, a fitness gym, and a DMV office, plus a small handful of small shops. All the storefronts east end of the mall toward Home Depot are walled off.
Let's used to be a great mall. It's so sad to see what's happened to it now. I wish that it could be brought back to life. The stores that are there are great but there isn't much there to be able to shop.
This place is awesome if you enjoy watching civilization crumble around you. Hollowed out shells of stores, a few government offices and a nail salon hanging on against all odds are all that's left.
Greatest place on Earth. The mall 205 location is always well staffed, stocked, and clean.
Excellent customer service, I wish there was easier bulk deals.
Everything ya need for home improvement or just a side project. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
This place is nice. It has The Home Depot, Target, Famous Footwear, and a few other stores, all within walking distance of each other. I went to Famous Footwear, and picked up a nice pair of Nike shoes. Got a good deal.
When I was young this mall was the happening place to be. Way before Clackamas Town center. Now it's pretty much dead, as far as it being a typical mall. The few stores that are lingering there and most likely barely surviving really doesn't justify it stying open. Maybe find some better use for it?
It's just gross like much of SE Portlan is.
Support your Local Mall 205! Great Place to shop! Home depot; target, BedBath&Beyond, theres some restaurants too. Don't forget Pizanos they rock! And this place is super safe!
Target= favorite Halloween costume store.
Went to the DMV. They were pretty quick and very helpful.
Never can find what I need. And i usually learn what I need is usually online only... after wandering half an hour to find an employee.
A constant disappointment for project managers. Better price and service at Parr Lumber
The associates are always helpful, they go out of their way to assist you,. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the products you are purchasing. Great customer service.
I love Mall 205 because I can go to Home Depot target Tuesday morning all in the same vicinity I do wish the inside mall had a little bit more variety it looks like it’s really struggling and would love to see some new stores go in there but overall there is a good variety
Great little mall.
Kinda depressing inside. Not large enough to support a mall ecosystem.
My fav place to shop they have TARGET , home Depot , bed bath and beyond . Not overpriced
Big shopping place and lots of choices for eating entertainment and lodging close and hospital 1/2 mile
Used the phone charger when was homeless . As well as commute and restrooms.
The DMV is terrible here you always got to wait in line for hours the very busy one I advise you to go to Gladstone DMV or another one in your area for anything at anytime it's always crowded I've been there for different times today and it was crowded in every time
Always have what I need for my projects.
I wish there was more here, but it's still a nice spot to shop.
As big box hardware outlets go, this is a quality retailer. Staff is helpful. Shelves are stocked and organized.
Good food at Red Robin.
Home Depot is the place to buy anything you need for your home they has the best prices and the best quality this is a great place to go everyone is friendly and willing to help
Dont go to target it looked like a tornado went threw the shoes and clothes and the stire had been open about 1 hour.
And average efficient Urban Mall. Home Depot & Target are the anchor stores. Has a DMV that has lots of waiting room space. But does not move any faster than any other DMV.
Eh it's ok there weren't alot of stores though the only place I visited while here was the dmv to update my oregon id card
If a store has what I want it's the destination of choice. Also good for completing Craig's List transactions.
99.5 percent of the.time I find exactly what I need to complete a construction project
Lots to shop for HERE. Big variety.
Almost always have what I need.
Great kinda. Went to Home Depot with my hubby. I really know better. He could spend hours there. Lots of stuff there & a good selection. Good service, too.
Target and Home Depot are nice, though this certainly isn’t a mall. There are a few chain restaurants like Olive Garden and Red Robin. I am happy to have this nearby, but Mall 205 could definitely use a face lift.
Small mall but good area restaurants
This place use to have so much to offer, sad to watch it slowly turn to dust. Target and home depot are the two things worth going here for. Famous footwear never has a good selection at this location.
Not what it used to be! But dmv there lol
Love home Depot!
Love the home depot. We are they alot very friendly staff
Mall 205 used to be a great Mall. Not alot to chose from these days.
Well if you have 3 to4 HR then your ok but honestly I don't think I'll go to that DMV again
Could be alot better, bad area at night sometimes
Just okay because your have to find everything yourself, not great customer service
There are several different shopping choices here. There is also plenty of food options to choose from that are in the same parking lot area. There is also fitness options and big name brand stores like the home depot and target. Is accessible from the max and tri met. Near freeway entrances so iT is easy to find.
This place has been here forever, its a cool little mall I guess, more like a strip mall but indoors
Not many shops here nowadays. DMV, Home Depot, Target and a couple more
This is not much of a mall here.
My wife and I live in the neighborhood near by. So you can imagine we shop there often, and my wife liked to go there and draw and do what ever it is my wife does. She's one of the best hearted people I've ever met. To the story though she was bring back a Home Depot cart that someone had dumped on our street. Security saw her and I don't know why started talking with her, next thing she knows Home Depot lost prevention shows up and starts berating her in front of other mall customers. It got so bad she quit pushing the cart and came back home in tear's. I still do not understand why Security even stoped better yet why Home Depot Lost Prevention was called. Just goes to show what kind of men end up in those positions. Gold star on doing there job.. oh wait my wife was returning the cart someone else didn't return and she has never stolen one dam thing in her life she use to be a Sunday school teacher. So if you go here you've been warned!
This place is getting kind of run-down
Higher prices, but you get what you pay for. Every store and restaurant has a knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the Olive Garden was excellent, for once. A bit out of the way and always packed with traffick.
It's like if cancer had a meth habit married aids and had a baby. Mall 205 is that child with some special needs thrown in.
A 'different' experience. Kind of 'like an open' mart. Yet different.
Would not go looking for a "mall" experience. It is home to a Target with an entrance from the parking lot. There is a Home Depot on the other side with a Bed Bath and Beyond in the middle - not much else.
Convenient Home Depot store.
Grew up around here. Sure has changed. Still busy .
Right off the highway, easy to get in and out, and plenty of parking.
Needs more stores the plus side is you have a place to walk around while you wait for the DMV
Pretty good mid-sized mall with Target, Home Dept and Famous Footwear. It also has an Oregon DMV office. Very close to the freeways.
Better than Lowe's
Boring. The eating places spice it up tho
Got some pretty cool magnets with clips very useful
Good customer service and they had what we needed.
At one time this really was a mall these days it's Home Depot with some other stores scattered in. Maybe there are some worth shopping at I don't know nothing stand's out when you pull in and they do no advertising, I believe most of the malls business is Home Depot where people have a good idea what they're shopping for they get it and get out. There is plenty of parking there are no traffic signals in or out with one one streets on 2 sides and a two way street on 1 side and no streets on the backside, There is a 7-11/76gas on the corner of the property.
Super busy and had to find what I needed.. But the home Depot there does have just about anything a contractor would need so I do recommend the store.
Usually go through on way to the doctor.
The mall is basically empty I'm a dare turn in paperwork at office that is no longer there
