I arrived on Saturday at 2:58 PM not realizing they close at 3:00. I asked about getting dupes of several keys and apologized for walking in at the last moment. Both employees behind the counter said don't worry about it, we're glad to help you. Two of the keys I needed were unusual and I had left a trail of disappointment from Edgewood to east Albuquerque trying to get them copied. No problem at Heights, they had the blanks and I was on my way by 3:10. The cost was lower than I expected and the keys worked perfectly.

Dangerous driver, doesn't obey traffic laws such as speed limits and blinker useage. Just witnessed him slam on his breaks to get the car behind him to hit him. The car had children in it and he intentionally went very slow and didn't allow the car behind him to get away from him. Think before you drive a billboard!!!

Terrible customer service. I went there for lunch to have my key fobs programmed. After 10 minutes waiting in line I paid for the key fobs to be programmed and the clerk begins to program my remote. Before he could finish, the general manager tells him to stop what he's doing and go help customers at the register. I talked to the owner and he was no help and told me to go ahead and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. So I am writing this review and warning future potential customers to stay away from this company. I am a black man and I feel I was racially discriminated against and I will never use this company again. They are very rude and unprofessional.

This place is great! I came in with a blank motorcycle key and the original. The problem was the original was twisted. Told the guy at the counter he said so whats the problem? lol He cut it in about 10 seconds! New key works like a charm! Thanks guys!

These guys charge an arm and a leg for simple jobs, almost twice that of any other lock smiths ($5 to $6 to make a copy of a key when home depot charges less than $3). The technicians are rude and they rarely show up on time.

This place is awesome! I broke my key off in the ignition in my car. I was freaking out as I only had the one key. I took my car straight over. They were able to remove the piece of the key stuck in my car. They then were able to make a copy from the piece! I left highly relieved with three new keys for my car. Total life saver. Friday 17AUG18 Very disappointed with the service I received when i went here. I was waiting in line and one of the customer service people passed me over twice. His cell phone rang and he proceed to the side door and got in a car and took the call. I waited a minute then I proceeded to confront the agent and asked him why he skipped over me. I told him about helping the 2 people in front of me. He tried acting like he wasn't just at the counter helping people. So instead of him coming to help me he stayed where he was. I went back to the counter. Then finally another guy came to the counter and helped me. While I was being helped, the 1st guy I encountered finally calls for assistance to the front counter. By then it was already to late. That was my 1st and last experience with this place. I will not be returning.

First they said they could not make a key for me(they looked up the wrong key), then they said they could. Dropped off my lock and they never called me back to pick it up. On the second day I went down there and they said they were busy and short one person. I wish they had told me that sooner. Bad customer service. I could barley understand the man I was speaking with because he had a paper clip being chewed on in his mouth. Took my lock to another locksmith. Dont waste your time at this place.

I was having trouble changing the locks on my new house so I called Heights Key and they had a technician out the next afternoon. Bryce was professional and did a nice job. Surprisingly, I didn't spend too much more money by getting a professional involved. This is because I would have bought new locks, whereas Bryce just changed each existing door so a new key fit each door.

I have been coming here for years I know the owner and the staff. There're very good at what they do they are trained professionals. One thing I have noticed there is a high turnover of staff and having known a couple of them the problem is that they are not getting paid enough now this can effect customer service. We brought our motorcycle in on the 17th of August to have a key replaced. While the bike was in your possession the ignition was broken and since then no one has been willing to help resolve this matter. We have made multiple attempts to talk to the owner Mark and made multiple attempts to get this issue resolved with Jesse. As well we also have a lock that was broken on of the bags. Your customer service is absolutely horrible and as a business owner in this community for over 20 years I am appalled at how your company is handling this. The lack of willingness to stand behind your work or even reach out to us to help get this matter resolved is not the way business should be handled.

That was the price other shops quoted but we chose Heights for the low price. Either they didn’t have any clue as to what we were asking for or they were dishonest and attempted a bait and switch.

This is a helpful place for all your locksmith needs, whether for your car or home. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgable. I went in because I was having trouble with the lock on my car door, and they helped me diagnose the problem and gave me some options at solving it. What the heck? I drove out there myself twice they tell me they don’t have enough help, second time they said it was too hard to get to it. Call locksmith and tell them I need lock changed. They set me a definite appt. time for five days out. Five days later, I wait for an hour and they don't show even though I called them at the appt. time and told them I was waiting. Finally they call and say they are short staffed and I can either wait more or set another appt. I opt for the latter. The next day the locksmith shows a half hour late and changes the lock. The next day I return to open the door for the first time and the lock falls right out of the door. I call the locksmith and the same process I just described repeats itself up to the point where I am now waiting for locksmith to return call to set for another "definite"appointment. They are always short staffed and when they mess up they do not make you their top priority. Their is also a disconnect between their dispatcher and the rest of their staff. Anyway, that's what I have learned about them so far. I will update when all this is over. But for now I am sitting here waiting for a call back.

I just needed a backup key for my Prius. Other places quoted me for $80 - $200 because "the car wont start without a chip". The gentleman here at Heights Key Lock & Safe, ACTUALLY looked up the make and model, and cut a spare key for $5.50 !!! I am so happy I found this place and I will definitely be coming back when I have enough money for a full OEM remote lock
