TERRIBLE ! they were called before we knew we couldn’t change the locks on a rental ( common thing people don’t know ) when we told him we are not in need of his services he backed out of our driveway cussing us out telling us we waisted his time and money, which yes could a bit fustrating but that’s his job and that’s the bottom line, pretty positive he said his name was micheal, much better and appropriate places around town.

Not a very good place for a locksmith. If your buying the keys from them then your OK. But if you bring your own blanks, they wont cut them for you. Which really doesnt make any sense, i mean they could just charge to cut em for ya.

I contacted this place on a whim after I lost my keys to our 2015 Ford Fiesta. If you ever need your car rekeyed then ask for Dan specifically. He came to our house and worked his tail to the bone to make sure we could drive our car away in time for work the next day. There where some complications, however Dan was totally chill and worked with us the entire time. Is the owner of this company listening? Give Dan a raise. Or make him a co-owner. He deserves it.

I have been using anytime for over 30 years and have never had a problem with them. They recently rekeyed a safe where they had to replace the locking mechanisms and the charge was 30 bucks elsewhere was 42 and up. Just watch your step going in the door there is a step down right away.

Called ahead to see if they were willing to program the chip inside of my Honda keys to my new ignition switch. Very rudely got his point across but stated he could "try for 20 bucks" went in person right when doors opened and had the same conversation with the same unnamed man. But this time he said he wouldn't even risk trying and that I needed to buy his key for $100 and than program it for $20. I told him I just want to use my keys and he said he wouldn't do it so I politely walked out. Thank you *Advanced Lock and Key for solving my problem the way I would like it and for only $60 for all 3 of my keys...

I went to get new keys and door latch adjusted. I wanted new locks because the car had a lot of miles. I was convinced new keys would be ok. I also wanted my inside door levor adjusted so it would open better form inside. I felt the rod had to be shortened to pull up on lock as much as outside door handle. I was told I needed new hinges. I felt this was unreasonable because it opened from the outside perfectly and the door lined up correctly and lines of car were perfect. I went to a mechanics shop which I do business and said can the door lock rod be adjusted and they pointed to a plastic peace at end of rod to pop open latch which has threads for this porpoise. Now everyone makes a bad call sometimes but it was the arrogance of the person at the counter that boasted the experience of the owners opinion that makes me think there is room for competition because this is the closest place to my house and I have many cars and rental houses.

I had placed a lock on my hitch receiver and then misplaced/lost the keys. Went to a locksmith on the bench in Boise and asked if they could pick or remove the lock in some manner. The locksmith wouldn't even look at it, he just said, nope, nope, can't help you.. sorry. They are ok in a pinch. Bring your big wallet to this place. I've been there 4-5 times and always left feeling I got gouged. If you have the money, they can usually help you, but they let me down when I got a replacement key for my car and they couldn't program it. Like many Boise small businesses, the guys who work there are curt and straight-faced. All business. Don't break your neck on the doorway threshold, there's a fall hazard.. Seriously best key place I have ever been. Come here if you want exceptional, fast, and high quality service. I called another place and they said at first it would be $250. Then they said they can’t make me a key because they did not have the key codes. When I called Anytime they said they didn’t have the codes but they can make it if I get the codes from the dealership. So I did at it was less than 25 bucks for 2 keys. Very good experience. I received a call 30 minutes ahead of arrival. The person changed out my locks, got me new keys, fixed a locking mechanism that was worn out, and realigned my front door so it opened and closed smoothly. All of this took about an hour or less. The cost seemed reasonable to me. Give them a try.

I locked myself out of my car and it was not how I pictured my work day ending. I called 3 other Locksmith places near me before calling Anytime and all 3 other Locksmiths told me in a rude voice "I don't have anyone for you!." Frustrated, sweating from the heat and panicked that I may not be able to pick my kiddo up from daycare in time I made my way through Google's list and called Anytime. They were so incredibly nice to me and sent a locksmith out in 20 min. Dan my Locksmith was extremely professional and even helped me out by billing my insurance. I called Anytime Lock and Key after I had had really bad service and stood up by Safe Home Lock and Key. James was really really helpful and kind in contrast to the other people. He even saved me $55 dollars by telling me over the phone how to pick my own lock (it was a bathroom lock but still). They advertise programming of car fobs. I called and was told they would not program my car fob; they only program fobs purchased from them. I called another locksmith that happily programmed my new fobs and sold and cut two new keys. Customer support takes a backseat to sales (even though I paid for programming and chipped keys at their competition).

I called several other places to get a auto key fob cut and programmed for my daughter's car and it ranged from $160-$300 with the dealership being the higher cost. Anytime was only $70. I was having trouble with a gun safe, it wouldn’t open even with a new battery. I had already received a quote for at least $300 to fix it. I spoke with the guys at Anytime Lock and Key and they weren’t satisfied with what had been tried so far, they suggested that I use a Duracell battery to get it working before going any further. It worked! Thanks to these guys I don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to fix a problem that was solved because of their knowledge and expertise. Thanks guys!!

Outrageous prices for walk-in service. I paid $45 to have three locks change and three keys. This is double what I paid other locksmiths. For what they charged I could have bought all new locks brand new from the store. I am a property manager so I am very familiar with using locksmiths. Their service was fine but if you want to pay normal prices go somewhere else.

Outstanding. Short version- fast, great technician, quality work, good price. I called for some last minute on-site service. The shop gave me a quick estimated arrival time that I would have been very happy with and a quote over the phone. Dan, the technician, happened to be close and arrived about 30 minutes early. Dan knew what he was doing, was familiar with the older style lock set and it’s unique traits, and did the job right, quickly. He was professional, friendly, and courteous.
