They took advantage of my teenage son. My son was locked out of his car. I called and was quoted $15 for the trip fee and $45 "and up" hourly rate depending on "how complex the lock is." The technician arrived within 20 minutes and had the car unlocked in less than 5 minutes. They then charged my credit card $95. I would have gladly paid $60, but the amount charged was clearly excessive. I called to complain and was told that they had to cover overhead and other expenses and so on, and that the hourly rate quoted was $45 "and up." So I guess that covers them to take advantage of anyone as they see fit. I'll never call or recommend this company again.

Appt was scheduled between 12 and 1. Got a call at 12:10 stating "I'll be there in 20 minutes". He arrived at 1:15 with no explanation. No uniform, no marking on his car. Not very professional and prices are high. Next time I will pay for it myself and not use my home warranty.

Best experience I’ve ever had with a locksmith! I got an exact price with no hidden fees that was $50 less than other locksmiths in town, AND they came almost 40 miles out of town to make me a new key. Once here, the entire process took only 30 minutes and they even tightened the cables on my battery for me that were loose, causing my vehicle to not start. I seriously can’t say enough good things about these guys! I will never use another locksmith again, these guys are absolutely amazing!!!

They wanted to charge me close to $250 for a basic chip key, on top of that the guy told me that since my car was locked, they would charge me a discounted rate for that service. I told him that my vehicle didn't have a chip but according to him and his "resources" it did. I went ahead and called around and a different company charged me $150 and i will admit that the first guy was right, it was a chip key.. Oh and the guy from zippy didnt charge me to unlock my car.

Amazing service. Driving across the country, I was stranded in Tucson with a broken ignition and they showed up and fixed it in no time so that I could get back on the road. I called several other locksmiths in Tucson, all of whom were incredibly rude/unprofessional, but Intel was polite, fast and extremely helpful.

We were quoted $35 per hr plus a $15 trip charge over the phone to unlock a house door and an arrival time at our home in 20-25 minutes. The technician took 57 minutes to arrive and charged us $90, not the expected $50 for 20 seconds of work performed. When my wife called later to sort out the discrepancy between what she was told on the phone vs what we were actually charged, the owner was rude and argumentative. Her explanation was that cost starts at $35 and goes up, but she COULD NOT explain an example of what would cost $35, much less a $75 lockout situation. Worse, the owner suggested that she should fire her employee who performed the door unlocking when my wife explained that we would have called a different company had we been informed that they’d take at least twice as long to arrive. Looking at the published price list, the most applicable to our internal door is a house door listed at $45 (“house lockout”, internal doorknob style lock). The rate we were charged doesn't align with any of the posted prices, much less what we were told when we called for service.) Even if we misunderstood the price explanation over the phone and what was meant was that pricing starts at $35 plus trip charge, at most we should have been charged is $60 ($45 plus $15 trip charge). The bottom line for us is that we were overcharged by $30 and the timeliness of service was not what was communicated by the business. I’ve been in email communication with the owner and she displaces the responsibility of customer satisfaction and accuses my wife of yelling at her while trying to work this out over the phone. If you value paying the price that is advertised or given over the phone and like services to occur in a timely manner (especially when being locked out) DO NOT call this company.

Working with Intel Lock was a great experience. They spent time with me on the phone, discussing what my needs were, now that we were wanting to make our house more secure after a break-in. Our wood door had a lot of damage to it but I was hoping it could be salvaged. Their technician spent time going over what our options were, introducing us to products I didn't even know existed, that both repaired the door and made it much more difficult to break again. The technician was very thorough and polite and easy to work with. The doors and locks work great, really good service, fair prices. We were very pleased.

1/16/19 -- Six stars! All personnel at Intel Lock were prompt, professional, and courteous, and they are open 24/7 at no extra charge. The latch on my security door was acting up, so I wanted to get it before it got me. Miss Alex answered the phone promptly and professionally. Russell had all the parts he needed to replace the latch and to match the new lock to older ones. Laurie was also very nice in coordinating the schedule and providing a senior discount. It was worth the professional fee to have it done right the first time, and now I know who to call in any kind of lock emergency, day or night. They set up a security system for a second location, and have managed the locks at that location as well. Their skill and service have been top notch. They have arrived within a few minutes in the middle of the night. I would recommend them to any small business. I would recommend Intel Lock for any locksmith needs. He called ahead to let me know he was on his way. I asked him to re-key 7 different locks to take only one key which he did within 45 minutes. His prices were reasonable as well. He was also very congenial.

Worst place in town. Completely lied to me and told me a cheaper quote that was 15$ then 45$ every hour. Then showed up and told me it would be 135$ and it took him 5 minutes to open the lock. NEVER GO HERE.

The BEST locksmith service we've ever used! My husband and I are property managers, so we are familiar with having to get our locks re-keyed and changed periodically, and this is the only company we will hire to work with us. The technician John was professional, really friendly and funny, and made us feel at ease. Same as "C", $15 and $80 to unlock my 16 year old vehicle. I was quoted 25-30 minutes, 46 minuets later he showed up. When I complained, he deducted $10 - big deal. $85 is still too much for what took only 5-6 minutes. I would not recommend this locksmith. I initially called Pop-a-lock, but they were busy and said to use this guy. Well, don't. And don't use pop-a-lock if they are going to recommend this guy. When he was going to be late, he made no attempt to contact me to let me know. Not good practice to leave your customers hanging.

So I called this service n was immidetly upset with there tone of voice over the phone the first thing the asked me for was my debit card n told me they would b charging me 35$ and I was like ok that's fine they then asked me for the address to where my car was and I provided that when the guy arrived he said it would b 125$ to open my car and joked about how easy it was to open my car I asked why he had quoted 35$ on the phone he said oh that's just to drive out to you and stated that's all ready been charged to your account I asked why he failed to tell me a price over the phone he said that's just how we do business n continued to joke about how easy it was to open my car and used profanity In front of my 6 year old which I thought was completely inappropriate I would not use this service at all and when I called the office to complain the manager stated what's done is done

DONT WAIST YOU TIME. We were quoted $15 for service call. The ignition key was worn. We asked the guy to cut us a key. His response " I could cut 10 keys and it wont fix it. Next day went to Toyota had a key cut $10 problem solved. Called manager and she put the blame on us as customers and our insurance company. The service guy wanted $300 to replace ignition when we would not do it he got mad.

Lady said 15.00 for service call then 45 an hour. Guy gets here and looks at my 1998 car and says 80.00 if you want it unlocked. He says it's based on what he thinks it'll take. He gets his rod stuck in my door handle takes an extra 15mins when I'm trying to get to work. Say the actual price when contacted. Went from 60.00 max (if they charge for a full hour even though it would have taken 5mins if he didn't get stuck) to 80.00 or you just wasted 40 mins waiting on me. Nice guy. John was his name. Just not clear pricing. EDIT: they contacted me and apologized and stated they said 45.00 "and up" not 45.00 an hour...I don't recall her saying that but I upgraded the review to 3 stars because they did make an effort to refund me part of my payment to adjust their review rating. If they care that much they can't be that bad.

I want to start off by saying that I have a history of losing my keys to my apartment. I work roughly 14 to 16 hour nights, getting home usually at the crack of dawn. I've called a locksmith before and was charged almost 300 dollaes, which I had to pony up because, well, the job was done. This time, I decided to do some searching and I found Intel lock. 24 hour service. I called and spoke to the nice woman about my situation and withing 45 minutes, my savior Glen showed up. He was a little late, but he did call multiple times keeping me aware of where he was, which anyone can appreciate. I was tired, upset, did not know how much it was going to be, but I had no options. Glen came and instantly had one of the best conversations with him that I've had in a very long time. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he showed me a thing or too and even let me help. Not only was the service amazing, but he made my day so much better and made me laugh I don't know how many times. I needed that. Needless to say, I was having a great time. Down to the payment. Let's put it this way, I believe I payed more for the entertainment than anything else lol I payed 3 times less than I did with the other locksmith. He is such an awesome dude and is great at what he does. Does not over charge and is very efficient. I loved the service and more so the experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is moron sometimes like me. I don't know why anyone else would choose any other locksmith. By the way, this happened this morning. Don't waste your time or money and run away fast. They quoted a $15 fee to show up. Not unreasonable, but will not provide an estimate and I will not write a blank check. Check out their feedback. None of it looks good,so I would say take a big pass on them.

Wonderful service! My teen daughter could not have picked a worst time to be responsible and lock the door behind her, as my purse and keys were still inside! It was already almost 103* outside and the nearest set of spare keys was 2 hours away. The locksmith showed up in under 20 mins and had us in the house in under 5. He was super kind, explained everything before he did anything, and gave us an idea on cost before he proceeded. My dog didn't even bark at him! (Lousy guard dog anyway!) If you have a need for a locksmith I highly recommend! Fast, friendly, and very reasonable!

Seems like a trend in this industry, they give you a low "starting" price over the phone and when they show up somehow it doubles. I was told over the phone around by loren $60.00 then i ask the guy "technician" to tell me exactly what it's going to cost to open my car before coming out, gave him the epecific make and model, and he says $80-$85 which is not bad compared to zippy or discount becsuse I have used them both, but why lie over the phone. The guy whoever was, showed up and was really nice, but still bad sales tactic from their office people.

Had locks re-keyed at my residence, locksmith asked for all my personal information while only giving me his nickname. I called intel Lock spoke with Lori to get the locksmiths first and last name (this should be obvious being as they re-keyed my home and have access to the key) she would not allow an employees name to be given and would not give me her last name. This is a total red flag. Now someone with a nickname has had access to the new keys to my home, which was being re-keyed because of a burglary. I will never call them again nor refer

Need a lock cut off a storage unit, Call a few places, they said 15 to show up and minimum charge her 45, the other said flat 55. They show up in a unmarked car, the kid looks at it and says 120, I called another place c and s they said flat rate of 65. So I told the kid no, and ask why they charge double the price. I told him the lady one the phone said around 65, she calls the office and the lady says "they're a legitimate business" and I told her the car doesn't even have the company name one it, then she said said I would still have to pay the 15 because they showed up, I told them to get lost. C and S locksmiths cut if off and was done in a few minutes

NOT LOCATED AT THEIR "LOCATION" ON CONGRESS ST!! A Couple days ago I walked in to get a key duplicated and the receptionist told me that INTEL LOCK does not have an office or shop there. She said some customers rent or lease their address and some just receive mail but do not have a physical location... So when we call to request service, where are we calling and who are we giving our credit card info to and where are those records stored? Please, let people know somehow that the address on Congress St is just a mailbox rental so we dont walk in to a surprise.

Beware of this company, none of the people that are performing any labor at your house, car or business are covered by insurance since they are independent contractors and not employees. Intel Lock is a 1 pony circus which is the person answering the phone and the technicians are IC's. They once tried to charge me an hourly rate for re-keying a couple locks, when I asked the man why was he charging me hourly when I was told it would be per lock, he then told me that since he was an independent contractor and not an employee, those were his rates because he only gets a percentage of the total bill??! Yet this person on the phone never told me that. They are plenty of other companies out there that probably do the same, however, I called Intel Lock and this is what happened. This is the problem with scam companies like this that search engines are cracking down on, it's never going to be the better price for you, it doesn't benefit the person doing the job, highest amount more money for the tech or contractor. Remember, the majority of the liability insurance policies do not cover independent contractors, which is what Intel Lock uses. And no, this is not a fake review. #scamlocksmith

Great service! I was running late for work (of course) and locked my keys in the car when I ran back in the house to grab my jacket. 20 minutes after my call, the guy was there to unlock it. He was nice, the price was great, and I feel like I was treated as a valued customer. I would definitely use these guys again!
