I am not a confrontational person but what happened to me and my family, I don’t want to happen to anyone else. Buyer beware. Great at first but then the phone calls and contact stopped. Two days before my family of seven had to be out of our rental we got a call stating the funding fell through. We went three months and was told for two months that everything was great. Then no response. My fiancé is commission based and he needed a year on the job to be approved. One lender confirmed that before Caliber and three after. If four other lenders told me the same info then how were we preapproved? Funny how I would never mention companies but I would tell Realitors what happened and every one of them guessed Caliber. Sought a lawyer and there is a clause in their paperwork that states nothing is binding lawfully until papers are signed. Not only did they put a family of 7 homeless but they also screwed up two other families lives. If you use Caliber, get a second opinion to make sure you really are preapproved and the loan will go through. I am sure there are some great people who work for Caliber but Kirby is NOT one of them!

Justin Helman is an amazing consultant. He did such a wonderful job helping my family get our dream home.
