Admittedly I haven't visited many libraries, but the people here are always friendly, willing to help, and offer input. It's always been a positive experience.

They should call this place the LOUDbrary!! The librarians make no attempt to talk quietly or infrequently. They just yack away with eacthother full volume whilst standing about 3 feet away from some poor sap trying to read his sci-fi novel. It's no wonder that many of the patrons in the library are just yacking away on thier cellphones at full volume. The people who work here very clearly don't give a tiwg about us actual readers.

Beautiful library, but not to friendly . The workers there do not like to provide service. And what's up with not being able to return other towns books here, like EVERY OTHER town in CT? Make your experience more pleasant, and visit another town.

Andrea you are so right. The staff acts as if this library is the last place they want to be I go to the Putnam library where the staff are friendly and appear to enjoy what they are doing.

I think the ladies at the Killingly library are great. There is one lady that seems a bit tired, but I never consider her to be unkind or impolite! They go out of their way to look books up, order books from other libraries or make suggestions. I can’t speak to the volume or noise because we always grab out books and run. I feel blessed to have a library that is close by and staffed with smiling helpful people.

I came in for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly and sweet. They always take their time to help me when needed. We love this library! ❤️
