This is a terrific community space! They have a great selection of books despite the small appearance. It's a cozy place to sit and read or study but also easy to run into to get something.

I have always had a pleasant experience at my library Caldwell and am so grateful we have a place to catch up on the newest books, classes we have and the computers we are allowed to use. The child's reading and computer use are so beneficial for children and some parents cannot afford to have their own so why don't we just be grateful for what we have

I finally came back to the Caldwell Public library after leaving it for a few years. So much improvement! The staff is friendly. The selection of different materials is phenomenal. The library no longer smells like it's still harboring scents from the 1980's. And their online portal offers a lot of online options too! Very please.

This library is not a place for kids/teens to be yelling and throwing pillows around. This is one if the worst libraries I have been too. Staff will complain about my special needs kid not having shoes on he is 4 and then do nothing about screaming kids who's adults are allowing it.

From the second I walked into this Library I loved it. They always have something fun going on that is open to the community (for example, my 8 year old and I like to go pokèmon hunting and they have a group that meets just for that purpose). They have an app that is available if you don't have a ton of time to browse but are still an avid reader. So you pick whatever you desire to immerse yourself in and they let you know when it arrives so you can pick it up and go about your day. The selection on anime/graphic novels is fantastic and they even have a gaming set up for the gamer on the go. And the little kids nook is adorable, they have a vast variety of books and movies and everything is very easy to find. There are even crafts, games and activities for the ones that need a break from sitting still...sometimes you just gotta move a little

The librarians and staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient. My children and I are there often, I have seen the staff more than once go out of their way to give respectful help to people many others would blow off.

Caldwell Library has really improved. And wow the librarian I spoke with a while back was SO helpful on the phone saying that she would renew a book, that my daughter lost, until we found it!! No late fees and no having to pay for another book (I was prepared to do so). She said, "It should be somewhere in your house..." She was right. We found it the next week!! Also I noticed that they started an auto renew thing because I was late with some books and I got an email saying it was auto renewed! THANK YOU!! I love the upgrades they did to the library and they've really been a lot better about classes and options for people to come and be a part of something. I also like that they have the books you can buy right in the library available at any time. Nampa has a store with weird hours and I would LOVE to see what they have, but can't because they close so early. I like that Caldwell library stays open so late too. The only reason I did 4 stars is I wish their audio book selection was a lot bigger. I am not into the overdrive thing on my phone. I like being in my car with a good old fashioned CD LOL.
