One of the best schools where they help children to be independent, instill discipline and confidence. They support children with learning & attention issues. I have seen a tremendous improvement in my daughter’s vocabulary skills within a span of 3 months. Staff pays personal attention to your child’s growth and make sure they provide correct feedback and raise concerns if any during the parents/teachers conferences. Various activities and games are held on a daily basis which are very creative. I would definitely recommend this school.

I've been sending my three kids to Apple Montessori School over a span of eight years. We started off at the Randolph location and now in Morris Plains. The program is excellent and based on a whole child approach - it focuses not only on academics but also reinforces good manners, independence and self confidence. At the Morris Plains school, Mrs. Mannion and Ms. Rasdell are both very nurturing and experienced teachers. Other staff provide good support to ensure day-to-day is run smoothly. I feel very fortunate to have found this school. If their elementary school is closer, I would send them there in a heartbeat!

It was a bitter-sweet moment...saying bye to all the wonderful teachers and caretakers at Morris Plains. More than 3 years, we have been worry-free dropping our kids off with you guys. Our daughter, Isabella, attended the Apple Montessori School- this past year. Beginning school at only 3 1/2 years old, with minimal English speaking abilities (Polish is her fist language), she had a difficult time adjusting. Her discomfort due to the language barrier and change of cultural environment caused her to remain seated, leave her jacket on and hold onto her lunch all day long. Alarmed by her behavior, we were going to pull her out of school. However, her teacher Mrs. Kotoulas was incredibly understanding of Isabella’s difficulties. She somehow managed to comfort Isabella, and consequently, change her for the better. As school continued, Mrs. Kotoulas had monthly meetings with my husband and I, analyzing and reporting Isabella’s progress. In time, my daughter completely grew out of her stage of sitting alone huddled in her coat. She became fully immersed in the school environment, both academically and socially, and she couldn’t love it any more than she does. Isabella spent the first three months at the Apple Montessori School coming home crying endlessly, and now she could not be any happier going to school. She is suddenly significantly more independent, has improved her social skills, enjoys reading, and loves playing with friends – all in an environment that was once foreign to her. Her progress has been remarkable. We so appreciate all that Mrs. Kotoulas, and later Mrs. Zarro, has done for Isabella and for us. What a transformation they have caused. She also loves the Summer Camp and we are returning in September!

I am very content with the quality of education my child received. She is very happy every day and learned a lot. Besides the program, I am especially satisfied with your pro activeness. You understand what parents think and feel, you sent photos without we asked for to let us know what our children are doing in school. You called us in the first two weeks when our children first came to your school to let us know how they are adapting to the class. The Reading and Maths seminar are excellent chance for parents to understand the execution of Montessori way of teaching

Our kids get exposed to high level of education and care. Both our kids love their teachers and are excited to go to school and the teachers are keenly involved in the growth and development of the kids.

Our four-year-old has been going to Apple Montessori in Morris Plains for over 2 years and, overall, we are satisfied with the experience he has had. His primary teacher is Mrs. Mannion. She is great with our son. She's patient and clearly cares deeply about her work. Academically, he is ahead of his peers who attend other schools. He's doing basic addition and subtraction, and reading short, simple sentences. I credit the school with this. One complaint I have is the way that the school handles billing, and the additional fees that are tacked on at the beginning of each summer, spring and fall billing period. This is my primary motivation for writing this review, as I just got my most recent bill, but I should stress that overall my wife and I are quite satisfied with the school and plan to keep our son there. The above mentioned fees have names like "Registration Fee," "Supply Fee," "Book Fee" "Technology Fee," and others with similar names that sound "official." They're not. They're an arbitrary (in my opinion) money grab, only a fraction of which I'm guessing goes to benefiting the students or reimbursing the school for education or enrollment costs. I'm not counting additional costs for field trips, which are also an additional billing item, and are understandable. But fees like the ones listed above feel like a bit of a reach and average about $100. Taken together they can add up. For the Fall Semester, my fee total above the tuition cost was $450, and again, this is not including items like field trips and extra activities. It was explained to me that these fees are for things like re-entering the child's information into the system, surely a 5 minute process. This is more annoying than anything else, and I get the impression that if the school wanted to increase the cost of attendance but didn't want to draw too much attention to it, they'd simply invent a new fee and a justification for it.

My son started in the toddler program with the wonderful Ms. Castanos. She is everything you could want in a teacher, warm and wonderful and knowledgeable. She has been doing this for many years and still makes every child feel so special. My son grew tremendously during that time. Now he is in the preschool program with Ms. Tiedemann who also has years of experience. She got to know my son so quickly and is helping him through some major milestones. I can tell she really cares about his growth and personal interests. The Montessori approach is incredible for helping children become independent and I love how they get to choose activities that they enjoy because that's how children love to learn. I also love the school's size because everyone knows my son's name. It really feels like a big family. And I have to mention all the incredible activities they plan that involve parents like the Art Festival and International Day. It's wonderful to be a part of that with your child.

we just moved from a foreign country and we were very apprehensive with education for our toddler. Apple was really the best option we found and when we could not enroll our toddler to the unit near our home, they promptly find another unit that could receive her. She was very warm welcome by the baby room with Ms Castano and her team. They are absolutely engaged and committed with the children education, motor development, safety and health! have no words to thanks Ms Castano for all her wonderful care with our toddler.

Apple Montessori Morris Plains continues to offer comprehensive early childhood education facilitated by skilled and caring educators. My older daughter is a graduate of Apple and started first grade with an advanced skill set due to the strong educational foundation she received. My younger daughter is a toddler in Ms. Castano’s class. Within just a few weeks of starting at Apple, my daughter’s vocabulary has vastly expanded. I know Apple Montessori is providing the best start for my girls.

Being a young assistant teacher, I am proud of being one of the representatives of our Apple Montessori Schools. Teaching is a challenge as it takes much time, and maybe even years to pursue planned goals efficiently. Working at Apple has shown me that teaching requires to have much effort, and a certain amount of creativity. i have learned leadership skills which i have developed during our various Apple trainings. My experience has made me work hard and get more prepared.

Mrs. Mannion- Thank you for all that you do! You really care about your students and it shows in the way my children talk about you! Both by daughter and son have been going to Apple Montessori and I have seen such a positive change in their behavior and skills. They both are more independent, polite, and learning a great deal. Both my children had Mrs. Mannion for their teacher and she is amazing and all the other teachers are great too. We are really happy that we choose Apple Montessori for our daughter and would highly recommend it to others.
