I was born at this hospital )7/19/1995, This complaint is about the ER department, not customer service related, or care related. My girlfriend S/O, is from Colorado Springs CO, she has moved to the state July 22nd upon me ETS ing from active duty Army. Mid July My girlfriend needed to go in to the ER before finding out she has stomach ulcers (crazy right?). Before I could arrive there she was told they accept out of state Medicare, in which she is covered by still being a Colorado resident. (she now has forward health) AFTER BEING ON THE PHONE FOR 5 HOURS WITH CO STATE MEDICARE she was told and sent an information letter. ALL FOR BDCH TO NOT ACCEPT OUT OF STATE MEDICARE, CO STATE MEDICARE IS CLAIMING FULL RESPONSIBILITY BUT BDCH IS NOT ACCEPTING IT. We will be coming in to discuss this. I am very disappointed and think this is a disgrace to the great state I grew up in. also the desk clerk was very rude to her on her intial call in over the phone.

Have had to use this hospitals services on 3 occasions. Service has been terrible on each ocassion!!! Today they left my husband sitting in a room for well over an hour after the doctor had already been in to see him. They didn't run any tests just left him sitting in a room. He is very I'll but ended up walking out without receiving care. The emergency room was NOT busy. Dont use this hospital!!

With every place you go you have to do your homework. But the ER doctor saved my granddaughters life. Make my good friends last days great. But the blonde nurse on the maturity ward is a B****. Which my family doctor works out of there also. She is awesome but I pick who I'm going to see. There are some great and some you just shake your head at and wonder. But bets the hell out of fond du lac in a heart beat. Don't even take your sick rats up there.

Actually got sicker while in this hospital, then they discharged me because I was "feeling better"(was throwing up everywhere begging for my zofran) without looking at my x-rays or blood work(which showed I was getting worse). I had to go to the ER later that night (went to SP) and was admitted to St. Mary's the next morning(had been full the night before).

Today, 12/9/2018 I went to urgent care with some apprehension as I had read many bad reviews about this Urgent Care facility. From the time I walked in the door I was greeted by nice people and this continued throughout the entire time I was there. I believe I got a spot on diagnosis based on the symptoms I presented. The longest wait was for the lab results to be returned to the treating Dr. and PA. I would not hesitate to return here again.

The URGENT CARE/ ER of this hospital is a joke. The front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE. I cut my thumb tip halfway off. I had to wait and “step back” because “our systems are down” while my thumb continues to bleed profusely. The ER doctor then LAUGHS at me when I proclaim I need stitches after he decides “eh let’s just GLUE IT” (I have had a similar knife cut from cooking before that was not as severe as this was) I say “well I could’ve just done that at home I believe I need sutures.” Again disregards what I’ve said and goes to get the glue. I asked for them to wrap my thumb up afterwards, because you know you’re trusting what the doctor says. They disregarded that as well. As I’m leaving my thumb is still bleeding through their glue. I ask the lady who escorted us to the front desk to glue it again. She returns to the front desk with a glue pen that’s already opened and proceeds to finish doing what the doctor didn’t. She glued my finger outside of a sterile Environment. Great. Cool. Then the next day I’m at work and guess what? The GLUE DISSINTEGRATED BECAUSE MY CUT WAS STILL BLEEDING. I worked at an office and bled all over some important paperwork. I call to complain and have the bill reviewed. Completely “valid” charges. I’m complaining about the service and the doctor not listening and the billing department decides to say “oh we will forward your complaint to the complaint committee and you’ll here back in about a month.” I did NOT hear back and THEN after two months of calling here and there and leaving voicemails, as well as receiving a rather threatening letter. someone decides to call me after I’ve left another voicemail. I called May 3 and had to call back May 14th to get an answer. I ask about the complaint commitee and this financial assistance employee decides to tell me flat out lies. She says I don’t see anything about that and then when I ask for contact information makes up a story about how they allegedly said the charges are valid. Two minutes ago you said you didn’t see anything! This whole establishment is a crock and you’re better off driving to Madison to get real medical care.

My mother went in to bd hospital at 10 am. At 6 pm they transported her to Madison. While in nd hospital in kidney failure the did nothing. No treatment. She could of later at home. She died in Madison hospital !!!!

Having spent the past few years battling multiple chronic illnesses, I am frequently in the emergency room for different reasons (anaphylaxis, crippling headaches, and complications following treatment at other hospitals are the most common causes for me personally). The ER staff (aside from 1-2 select nurses and a respiratory therapist) have been PHENOMENAL. They respect and treat me based on how I present, along with what they know works for me. They have impeccable bedside manner and for that alone I have gone 30 minutes out of my way if I have a new issue, as they understand my chronic pain versus something new to my case. They have saved my life several times, and have put up with my sometimes less than stellar attitude without missing a beat. While I can't speak for many of the other departments, other than radiology which is also great, I can say that they have one of the best emergency rooms around.

Worst hospital experience ever!!! Would never go back to this place! Avoid at all costs. I went to urgent care and they kept me in the room for 2 and a half hours and I only saw the doctor for 20 min of that.... horrible

Screw this place. Had apendicitis, sent me to the UW after about 3 hours, and overcharged for the 3 damn hours I spent there. This place sucks.

I live right by this Hospital and would not waste my time going there. After one bad experience after another. I drive 10 plus miles to Waupun Hospital. For top care and health professionals that know what they are doing. And know how to treat people with respect and kindness.

My sister came in with severe stomach problems and they did nothing for us she was screaming for a half an hour in emergency until they put us in a room and did nothing. They eventually transferred us to Milwaukee, we would of had to pay $400 for an ambulance so we just drove her all the way to Milwaukee they finally helped us after 37 long hours.

If I could leave NO stars, I would. This hospital gives you nothing but WRONG results. The first incident, was to find out if I was pregnant. They took my blood (I was 12 weeks pregnant at that point) It took them 2 weeks to get back to me with my blood results. Told me I wasn't pregnant. So I continued taking my birth control every day and drank when I went out. I ended up going to UW Health in Madison, and they told me I was 16 weeks pregnant. THEN, recently, I took my son to urgent care, and the doctor walked in the room, didn't look at my child, and just said "yup he has this" and walked out. I had to take him to our regular UW clinic and she said he never had that, he had something else. Very unprofessional.

I went to Urgent Care for a swollen hand just to make sure it wasn't broken. They could not tell me how much it was going to cost me up front, or even after I was done. I asked if they could give me any idea how much it would be, was it going to be a couple hundred dollars or a thousand? They said oh no, it definitely wouldn't be a thousand, maybe closer to $300 at the most they said at the front desk. Upon check out, I again verified that this was Urgent care pricing and not ER pricing, the woman checking me out confirmed that. Well, guess what the bill came to? $965 all total. Oh and it's due IMMEDIATELY. Absolute joke. This hospital is NOT interested in people, just money. If I were dying, I still would never go there again.

I rate this so low not because the hospital itself is bad, i quite like my doctors. When calling on the phone there is always this nurse teresa who quite frankly is one of the most unpleasant people I've talked to. She is very rude and disrespectful and treats everyone in my family like they are moronic children. teresa alone makes my family want to change hospitals.
