This Salon is the best! The work that I've seen come out of people there is phenomenal and every single updo is fantastic! Everyone is also super friendly and wants to make sure that you have a great relaxing experience!

The customer service was very good but this salon is very overpriced and they do poor work for a person with my kind of hair even though I explicitly gave a prior notice that I had thick natural african american hair and yet they still gave my a stylist that was unequipped to deal with my hair. I will never be returning and they should be lucky I held my temper and did not refuse to pay.

Where do I begin? Went here for years and it was o.k. until they ruined my hair to a point where the majority of it FELL out. I had to chop the rest of it off above my shoulders to avoid further damage and breakage. I hope this review will deter someone from making the mistake of coming here. They did correct one of the problems (when they made my hair albino blonde) for free, but then over-processed me the next time and neglected me when my hair was burning. Now I have breakage up to my scalp. Run away from New Leaf!

The stylists at New Leaf are "a cut above" (a little pun there). I have had occasion to receive services from several and have found all to be talented. My regular stylist is Libby and she always gives me exactly what I'm looking for in cut/color...etc., as she's a great listener & communicator. She always adds value too by suggesting things that may enhance the look.....always right on the money! The salon is open, modern, comfortable and well designed. The staff is welcoming, friendly and professional. They offer MANY services, beyond hair, so check it out. I have used their wonderful nail services and can recommend them. Every time I visit, I always stop also at their attached boutique, which always has a nice selection of cute clothing items, bling and accessories. This will be my forever salon!

Went for a lash lift and tint, the stylist used a curling rod that was way too small. In the end my lashes looked like backwards Cs, they curled all the way back to my lid and caused physical discomfort. Some lashes were curled into circles. She was messy with the tint and I had stains under my eyes I could not remove. It was immediately obvious to anyone looking at me there was something wrong. I called them the next morning because there was no way I could walk around like that for 2 months. They receptionist was nice and got me back in that day. Honestly though the salon didn’t really own up to it, they just sighed sympathetically and said they would try to make it right. Clearly the staff received a one-off training on the procedure without having real knowledge. The woman who tried to fix it basically did the perm again with a larger rod. It did look better when I left but now I have lashes going in all different directions. Was it worth the $80 I paid? Absolutely not. Do not go here for this service. They “fixed” it to make it passable but I would have been better off not getting it done at all.

Good hair salon, however, very pricey. A lot of the services are overpriced, and they charge for the products they use on your hair during the appointment. What I usually get done to my hair is half the price of here. I felt ripped off.

I booked bridal hair and makeup service with Leaf Hair Studio and I wasn’t very happy about few things. I asked for contact info to my makeup and hair stylist, wanted to let her know what was my dress’ design, what kind of jewelry I’m gonna wear, pictures of me, my hair and wedding hair and makeup inspirations. It was important as it was destination wedding and I couldn’t do the trial. They refused to contact me with her... it was disappointing but much worse thing happened on my wedding day. We agreed that my makeup and hair stylist will arrive at hotel at 12:30pm, at 1pm she was still not there. It was Sunday and studio was closed, nobody was answering the phone and I didn’t have any contact information to Mara (my stylist). Finally she arrived at 1:30! Apparently New Leaf Studio told Mara our appointment was at 1:30pm while we made booking at 12:30pm. It was very stressful and stress is the last thing you need on your wedding day! Mara was very good and I was happy with my hair and makeup although the whole experience with New Leaf Studio wasn’t pleasant and I wouldn’t recommend it for your big day.

Take my rating for what it is, but this is the first professional hairstylist I've been to in 5 years. They made me comfortable, they were modern so I didn't feel like I was going to get hairstyle I didn't want, and Rachel was very helpful with where I should go with my hairstyle.

I just got married and hired A New Leaf Hair Studio for my big day and they were absolutely wonderful! After attending many bridal makeup sessions I left disappointed and then I found A New Leaf online. I attended a dry run with ashley before the big day and loved everything. I got married in Newport, RI and they were willing to travel and do mine and my bridesmaids/mom's hair and makeup on the day of. I had a slightly different idea/style for my hair on my big day and Ashley absolutely nailed it. The four stylists/makeup artists were on time and very professional and all of the girls LOVED their hair and makeup. The hair and makeup lasted all day/night and looked beautiful. I received so many compliments from my wedding guests. Such a talented group of ladies!
