I went to this salon few times before this last visits, and up until then I liked them to a certain extend. I decided to color my hair and since they are Aveda salon I thought I will go there for color, I made my appointment for Friday @1:30 PM, apparently the receptionist wrote it down in their books/system for 12:30 PM instead. So I showed up @ 1:30 for my color appt, and they tell me ooh your appt. was at 12:30 PM and sorry the stylist doesn't have enough time now to color your hair. They did'nt even make an effort to try to reach me via phone to follow up on the appt. that I should be coming to according to their books. So, I was a little upset but not so much and was okay finding me some other time to get my hair colored, they made me an appt. with the hair stylist I requested at 6:00 PM the following week. Here I am excited again, showed up on time, they greeted me, I waited about 10 minutes before the stylist came out and took me back to her station, she then says. So what are doing today?? I immediately felt this is not going to go well, she doesn't even know what is her appt about? I said, I would like to color my hair.. she then looked at my hair and said, it will probably take me a long time (2 or more hours) to get it done and I am suppose to be off by 6, do you know what color you want?? So my first response was, well if you cant do it now then don't ( I didn't want someone coloring my hair and is rushing, and all can think about is when will be done to leave). So she looked through colors with me and walked me out to find a bigger time slot to schedule my hair color appt., they found me one the week after (which is the week I am traveling on) and I took it. as I was walking out, was very upset and felt like they don't appreciate people's business, they could have called me before I got there to inform me that she will not able to make it.. so I called in the next morning and cancelled my appt. although I am not a regular customer there but I go often but I just didn't feel they deserve my business, I will not go there again, I bet there are other Aveda salons that treat people much better and appreciate their business and also be considerate of their clients time.
