Very crowded...very slow...ranger did not move slower groups along...wait until summer to play...cramming them in.

Very friendly staff. Course condition was pretty good. 12 of their 18 holes have a dogleg and there is a decent amount of water along the course, so ball placement is important. But not overly difficult (from someone who plays bogey golf) with a nice course layout.

Nice golf course, course is in great shape and carts go almost everywhere, with restrictions near greens. Enjoyed playing golf there.

Rude service at the pro shop, called to talk to them and they were just short and not helpful. I went to the pro shop to pick up my rain check, there were 3 people behind the desk and only 1 guy being helped. Put the rain checks on eBay and will never go there for golf.

Really nice course that was well maintained. Greens were fast when we were there and the fairways were in great condition. Not a ton of hazards compared to a lot of other places but enough to keep it interesting. Kind of off the beaten path but a lot less expensive (and they run deals) than a lot of places in Myrtle

Staff was great and courteous. Course was a very fun track, but there were a couple corners that had (imo) extra trees making it impossible to be aggressive and cut the corners if you wanted to try. Would recommend!

I love this course it is in great shape despite the resent rains. Staff is very helpful as when my close friend passed away they assisted us to put a plaque on the 17th hole.

8 guys on a golf vacation into condos. The television and one of them did not work. We called three times I came over work for a while and then quit. The units are old and out of date at least where we were in The Cottages

Absolutely terrible experience. Apparently the Club House guy and the Starter aren’t on the same page. It took an act of Congress for us to get started playing. Had to go back inside twice because we weren’t given the right slip by the Clubhouse. The starter acted like it was all our fault and was not going to let us get going until we fixed it. The course was ok, greens were slow and sandy. Saw the beverage cart at the 9th hole and 17th hole and she never spoke. Just kept going by us both times. Then I get to my car and I have to climb in through the passenger side just to get to the drivers seat. One of the worst golfing experiences I’ve had in a long time. I won’t be back.

We were going to the putting green 30 minutes before our tee time when the starter told me that if we went immediately to the 10th hole that we would start in front of two groups of 16 people. Starters were very organized and friendly. Driving Range was crowded with two large groups practicing at the same time. The greens and fairways were in good condition. Sandtraps were the best that I ever played. The only problem I experienced was that the twosome in front of my wife and I were very slow because they were playing from the white tees and they had no business playing from there. Since the twosome was slow and we had to wait on every tee shot that caused one of the groups of 16 to pressure my wife and I. I reported it to the ranger after six holes but he told me that a foursome of women was holding up the twosome in front of us. When we started playing our second nine the ladies were finished but the twosome was still slow. Pay special attention to the yardage at the tee boxes. The red tee box was over 5200 yards which is equivalent to the gold tees at the courses that I play at home. Other than the slow twosome we liked the course and the staff!

Always have a wonderful experience at this course however we were unlucky enough to be the 1st group following a late starting members outting. Mind you for 20 minutes while practice putting nobody teed off fron 1 or 10. Not fond of 5+ hour rounds. Maybe my bad because i booked on line with my pass port. Regardless still a big disappointment.

Course was in excellent shape and the greens were particularly nice and consistent. The course is fair but tight. Lots of traps and extensive waste bunkers. Sand was very playable even though we had heavy rain overnight. As this was March, they had overseeded the burmuda leaving the rough brown, but it was still very playable. Pace of play was ok, though the course was full. The marshals we're monitoring the pace carefully and that helped. All in all an enjoyable day.

I absolutely loved playing this course. Fairways, greens, even the traps were well maintained. I've played many of the courses in the area, most more expensive, but worth it. This was the best course I've played. A very enjoyable round of golf.

Solid course for the price. It's an older course with lots of doglegs. Almost every par 4 and 5 is a dogleg. Greens had a lot of ball marks but still putted well. Bunkers and fairways in good shape. Clubhouse is small. I'd rate it 7 out of 10.

My husband and I got married at Litchfield Country Club. Rebecca (event manager) is so helpful and nice. We did not run into a single person who wasn't excited for us and extremely helpful. That even includes the country club members! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a perfect day and they all helped make it that way. The food was amazing - we barely had leftovers and had less people come than originally planned! We would recommend this location to anyone wanting to plan an event in Pawleys Island. It was absolutely an all around wonderful experience!

Don’t play here unless you’re a scratch golfer. This place gives no breaks! Almost every hole is a dogleg. No real sand it the boxes, just hard dirt. It tortures you every single stroke. You have to literally hit every drive into a 20ft circle to have a look at the green. If that isn’t bad enough, they cut 10 rings around every green to make it even harder. If you hit the ball in the ruff... forget about it, you can only see the very top of the ball. They built a course around a subdivision vs the other way around. Absolute TORTURE! Golf is hard enough without courses like these.
