-WE LEFT AFTER 13 HOLES, the pace of play was horrific. I've played in scrambles with 36 total teams that played at a faster pace. No officials on course to assist the pace. -golf course was in average shape, nothing special. -Grill/Bar Service was okay, wouldn't be anything I would classify as friendly. -Waited in pro shop for 15min for someone to show up to ring up my purchase. - there is a 150 yardage marker on every hole, and after that it's ur best guess. - I've played 10 nicer public courses this year alone. -saying our group was disappointed would be an understatement

Course is in decent shape for fall. Food seems crazy expensive in club house, but beer on the course, and in the bar was very affordable. Cart ran in good shape. Overall, positive experience.

Golf course beautiful, but I had to push my cart for 5 holes because battery was dead. When I called clubhouse no one answered! Guy said oh sorry won’t be golfing there again

This corse is awful. Don’t come here. The rates are to high for the condition of the corse. The corse pro is a complete jerk and the grounds crew is incompetent. Pick another place for golf!

The bunkers were very bad. The tees on the party threes were all chewed up. The rough around the was weeds. I have not played here in a long time, I was very disappointed.

Loved this course. Great layout with some hills, narrow fairways, and plenty of trees. Only 6100 from blue but it challenges you. It’s too bad I live 2.5 hrs away. Would love to play this course regularly.

Very good golf course. Well run. Good greens. Rolling terrain. Decent bunkers. Fairly wide fairways. Not over-long. Some forced carries. Excellent staff. Very nice clubhouse with a good bar/restaurant. Practice green. Good electric carts. Frequent cart girl visits. Good parking. Easy to find. Worth a try. Seems like there are more par 3's than the norm. Pro shop is nice but not a ton of clothes or clubs. The pro is very good and helpful. Recommended.

A group of us went down to EagleSticks this past weekend for a package golf trip and played 36 holes on Saturday. The verdict...if you're looking for a 6 hour round of golf on a poorly maintained, over booked golf course, look no further. It took us so long to play the first 18 (6 hours), we missed our afternoon tee time by an hour. When we alerted the starter at the turn, he laughed and said, "No worries! Everyone on the course today is replaying in the afternoon." AWESOME. Oh, and by the way - There were 9 of us in the group, so we played in 3 groups of 3. Yep, it took 3 threesomes 6 hours to play 18 holes. Not a single ranger in sight to move people along, even though it was pointed out to us by the starter there would be 2 out on the course. Instead an egregiously overbooked golf course, filled with a bunch of unknowing people from out of town, is left to fend for itself and churn out 6 hour rounds. I mean, this place makes our government look efficient. Aside from the painstakingly slow play, the course was a mess. Greens and fairways were average at best. The sand traps, if you care to call them sand traps, were terrible. No sand, not raked, garbage. The tee boxes however took the cake. Seriously, when you have to pull a few weeds just to get your ball tee'd up in the dirt, not grass, I'm not sure you can call it a tee box. Also, 6500 yards from the tips, huh? Really? more like 6200, maybe 6300 max. In between rounds we go into the clubhouse to get something to eat. Two guys order a hot dog, only to be told they had just sold the last few cooked hot dogs they had. But we could wait 15 minutes while they cooked more! Who runs out of hot dogs on a Saturday afternoon? It left me to shake my head and think to myself “This place is run by a bunch of children.” The second 18 holes was much of the same as our last group of 3 putted out in the dark. This time it was a BLAZING 5 and a half hour round! Don't fall for the con like we did. Good luck and good riddance!

This is the first time I played this course although I've been wanting to play it for quite some time. I live on the west side of Columbus so it's a bit of a drive, but well worth it. The course is isolated from roads and houses so that is really nice. The course has a lot of undulating hills so presents some good challenges. There had been a heavy rain the day before I played so unfortunately some of the sand traps had water in them. Even still I would recommend this course to anyone in a heartbeat, and it also has a real nice 19th hole as well!

Had great time with my grandson. Tyler was very helpful and I will be back at sometime. It was a 2 hour drive but we'll worth it. My grandson sank about a 45 ft. putt for a true par. His smile said it all.

New to Columbus from Cleveland and used to courses with different elevations and this course really satisfied my itch. The bunkers are 50/50 in terms of maintenance, but fairways, roughs, and greens more than make up for it. Course staff gets you on the first tee box quickly and the track is quite scenic. Highly recommend it.

Great course but terrible management. They claim to take tee times but don't actually enforce tee times. Anyone can take tee times. You have to enforce tee times for them to have any meaning. Might as well call McDonald's and ask for a tee time because this place will honor it. Overbook the course then don't enforce pace of play. One drunken foursome can ruin your round due to overbooking and lack of a ranger. Great experience if you have 8 hours to play a round. Go elsewhere if you don't.

I cannot believe that they actually charge to play this course. It is undoubtedly the worst conditioned course I have ever played in my life. Most of the bunkers hadn't been taken care of and had no sand in them anyway. The holes for the pin placements hadn't grown back because they obviously don't water anything there. All of the fairways and greens needed watering badly. I played on a Sunday, so there is no excuse for not taking care of the bunkers. And it looked like they hadn't been worked in several weeks. They had rocks and sticks and hardly any sand. The greens were all marked up from balls and not repaired. The layout itself was pretty nice, but no one should have to pay to play a course in that kind of condition.

#9 on our States for golf, very nice staff and their cafe looked and smelled great. Rough roughs and fast greens. If I can make it to the green in 2 strokes it know why it is called Eaglesticks! Enjoyed! 2 more states to go!

Beautiful, well managed course. Green condition was pretty rough this visit which was disappointing. The rest of the course was in very good condition. Course had a nice layout and was challenging without being intimidating. Clubhouse staff was friendly and helpful. Prices across the board were very reasonable. Definitely looking forward to come back for another round in the future.

Was here for a wedding. I just wish I could have played golf while I was there. They did a super great job hosting the wedding. It started with a beautiful out door wedding ceremony. Very lucky that there was a break in the rain during the wedding ceremony. They have a very large covered patio that looked great and was great for after the wedding. We moved inside for the dinner that was very good. After eating it was back to the patio for dancing and other traditional wedding functions. After all of that which the staff pulled off effortlessly. It was then time for dancing and party time. Nothing but well wishes for the wedding couple. A very beautiful event.

This course is a good layout, very scenic except the adjoining trailer park on one hole. Played in the heat of summer and it was taking a toll as there was some browning of the fairways. Course was a bit over watered. Pace of play was slow for a monday, 4.5 hours. Traps needed rebuilt which has been an ongoing problem for years.

First, I played well here, so this IS NOT sour grapes from a bad round. What was once one of the premier public courses in Ohio, is a shell of its former self. It’s almost as if there is no maintenance budget for the care of the golf course. There are overgrown weeds and clover in the fairways and on the tee boxes, the sand traps are mud and rocks and probably haven’t been raked this year, and the cups looked like they hadn’t been cut in a week. The bridges are falling down, concrete steps crumbling and the ponds look like chemical spills. It’s just sad this course is in the shape it’s in, but, when you’re the only game in town, and your focus is weddings and seminars, that’s what you get. I drove two hours to play here for 22 dollars and that was two hours and 20 dollars too much. One positive, the clubhouse staff couldn’t have been nicer, and I think they wish the course was better too. As for the restaurant, don’t expect any customer service from the tall blonde, she’s doing you a favor by just showing up for work. Eagle sticks is off our annual rotation, we won’t waste our time or money here again, and you shouldn’t either.

It took an hour and half to get food. They ran out of the food I had ordered. I ordered cottage cheese, it was warm.no salt or pepper on table. Mushrooms were from can and cold. However waitress was nice.

First time out and was very nice. We arrived early to use the driving range and were unable to due to some construction. Due to us already being there and having an opening in tee time they allowed my buddy and I to tee off early. They were very accomadating. Wonderful course. I will definitely be back.

The course in general was very nice. Greens were good as was the fairways. Big complaint was the bunkers. Horrible is the only way to describe them. No sand and hard packed. Weren't raked or dragged to loosen anything up. Could use a bunch of sand . No ranger on the course and the 2some in front of us very slow and holding play up. Drove 2 hrs to play.

Very well maintained golf course. Greens are usually fast. Course has a lot of rolling terrain, so it is very challenging. Off line shots will cost you on many holes. Staff is friendly. Club house is 1st class.
