One of the best public courses in the Twin Cities. Beautifully maintained; difficultly level is challenging. Afterwards Oak 19 (on site restaurant) has really good food and drink selection; impressive list of hand selected brews. Highly recommend whether you’re a local (bonus you can take advantage of the Chaska resident discount) or from surrounding city...you won’t be disappointed!

Favorite course layout in the Twin Cities. Fairways and tee boxes are usually excellent. Docked it one star because it’s $10-15 overpriced and the greens have not been as good the last two years. Hoping the new Braemar course pushes CTC to take it up a notch.

Very high quality public golf course. Excellent practice facilities. The couse is very well maintained with stripped fairways, well positioned bunkers, very good fringes and excellent putting surfaces. The course is well designed to take advantage of the natural habitat and marsh areas. Although surrounded by very nice homes, the fairways are generous and the homes do not come in to play at all. Park like setting. The club house is basic but has a good pub-like menu and is situated high above the course. The outdoor patio is small but has a fabulous view of the par 5, 18th hole and natural marsh land below...A great place to have a beverage and sandwich after the round!

What a great public golf course! Being from the Philadelphia area, this course was in better condition than any of the public/ private courses in the tristate area late in the season.

Nice golf course, challenging. Course Marshalls are cluless. Apparently they are trained to only think in terms of the clock. They seemed to have no concept of the flow of traffic on the course. They were harassing people who had no one behind them. i hate slow play, but these people are miserable and inept in the way they marshalled this course.

Love the course; one of my favorites. It's the first time I've been back for a few years, and while the course itself was in pretty good shape, the greens were the worst I've seen them in years. I'm sure it's partly the rain, so they're letting them grow out a bit. But they were so slow and bumpy that it ruined the round for us. Bummer, such a great track when the greens are rolling.

A fantastic course that is ruined by the terrible rude staff. I've played here over 50 times, but now i only go if someone else chooses the course. If you enjoy keeping up with the group ahead of you while also being hassled by an incredibly rude ranger on every other hole, then this is the place for you. What more can you do besides keep up with the group ahead of you? It's quite the brain buster. I once played a Wednesday morning round and the course was dead. Nobody in front or behind us. And the ranger hassled us about being 4 minutes behind pace.

Beautiful course, great layout and they keep it in wonderful condition. I recently had an emergency come up when I was on hole 3 and had to head home. I stopped by the pro shop hoping that just maybe I'd get a rain check for the back 9. (but I didn't expect anything) They were kind enough to give me a rain check for the whole round. I think this course is the best public course in the cities (and it beats some of the privates in my opinion) and they won a lifetime customer in me. Cannot wait to go back.
