One of the better public golf courses in the city of Louisville. They have tees fit for all skill levels of golfer. If you want a hardcore challenge step on up to the back tees and this place all the challenge you can ask for. Friendly staff and atmosphere.

The worst public course in Louisville somehow rated the highest. Course is average to below average when in good condition which it's usually in lesser condition due to dead grass and the beginner golfers that aren't familiar with etiquette yet(fixing divots, etc) that this place attracts. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with people wanting to learn how to golf but as well as taking a toll on the course the inexperience will cause wait times and destroy your pace every time, best to steer clear if you are an experienced golfer. Course has been crowded every time I've played and I've even been instructed to hit into the people in front of us by an employee. This is not a joke, there was a line on the first tee box and while waiting for the people playing in front of us to advance to the green an employee came out and scolded us to tee off we let the shortest driving person in our group hit and he was about 5 yards short of the people in front of us with a sub 200 yard drive. The reviews on these courses are completely inaccurate, 2 stars is being extremely generous. Unless you've never played or are extremely insecure about your ability to keep pace, then don't bother with this place.

It's a tough course because of the trees but it did make me develope a punch shot so can't complain to much. They have the best twilight price. $7 to walk you just can't beat that. And the staff has also been very nice to me.

This place is a SCAM. They lie to you about the real price to play just to get you up there. We (2 people) called the course at 12:00 on a workday to make a tee time at 4:30 to play 18 w/ a cart. Was told it was wide open and it would only be $20 +tax and that we were slotted in for that time. We arrive to find out that they didn’t book tee times and also there was a high school match in front of us. We decided to play anyway. So they paired us up with other people and we went on to play. We went into the clubhouse after our first 9 and were told that we couldn’t play the second 9. Then were told that we were welcome to walk but couldn’t take the cart because we only paid for 9 and the cart even though we told the worker in the clubhouse that we wanted to play 18 with a cart. Do not go here. It’s a scam. They tell you a lie about the actual price to get you and even lie about the price again when you pay there to play. Never going back.

Had the worst service I have ever experienced attendant was named Ben, I believe. Have played the last 4 weeks in a row no problems. Then today as we walk into the clubhouse it started to sprinkle. Which was fine. “Ben” told us if we played more than two we wouldn’t be offered a rain check, fair enough. By the time we got our clubs into golf cart it had started to pour with no visibility. When I walked into clubhouse and said ya we’ll take the rain check. Ben flat out said No that we knew the weather conditions before paying. “Yea the weather was light sprinkle.” So we attempted to wait out the rain and within thirty min he informed us the course was closed due to weather conditions. “Surely we get a raincheck” still get a No from Ben. Every other experience with anyone else at this course has been great. Ben is the worst person I have met at a golf course. With that level of rudeness and attitude no reason why he should be working there. Unless this issue can be resolved and I get my raincheck I won’t be returning. Not even my money back just a rain check. I’m in total disbelief over how unprofessional this was handled.

For walkers, the price can’t be beat. Well-maintained cart paths. The staff is knowledgeable. Facilities are adequate for a 9 hole course funded by the city.

Rarely crowded, we'll maintained, friendly staff, nice scenery, occasional deer sightings, seldom roudy, respectful mostly older crowd enjoying a serene round without frequent waiting like most other courses.
