This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf club.
Great course. The best staff. It's worth the price.
Beautiful course!
A fun and scenic course. It is great shape.
Great course just minutes from any Front Range location.
Nice course open to the public.
Not a golfer at all. I did some work here a while ago, but holy cow is this a beautiful place!
This place could be soooo much better if it were only for a couple changes. First and most Importantly the Head Pro (Mark Pfingston) might just be the Most unapproachable person I've ever met in my entire life! Seriously a head pro should be nice, helpful, and always pleasurable for any customers to be around. Mark is the complete opposite. Secondly is the way that they treat the very people that work for them. its disgraceful how badly they treat the outside service employees that work for them. they have the toughest job of any of the people at that place and they get treated like pieces of crap! Also just to make it worse i know for a fact that they don't let their employees play until after 2 only Mon-Thurs NO WEEKENDS! hahaha what a joke! The course in itself is great, but I'm not going to go out of my way to play there when i know ill have to deal with people like their head pro.
Nice culg club Dinner with friends We had a good time
What a beautiful course this is! I really enjoyed my round and I wish to go back soon. Greens are tough and fast. One of my favorite courses in Colorado, price is more than others but its worth every penny.
Great menu that changes seasonally with wonderful staff.
Golf Course is extremely good condition with undulating greens hilly Terrain. This course is a very good test of golf you should really enjoy it
It was awesome!
Great golf course! Beautiful views and A1 service.
Beautiful course and great staff. Visiting from out of town I would call this a must play course.
Good service, food was just ok
This place is always a treat, well kept and challenging but fair.
Beautiful course
Absolutely the most beautiful golf course for the general public to play. From the ground maintenance to the staff it's an amazing experience everytime I play. This is a must for all golfers that come to Colorado.
Awesome golf course and facility's
Great clubhouse atmosphere, really good food, reasonable pricing, friendly staff, Fairways in great shape greens always tricky here. Superb mtn. golf experience.
Great place to golf. Highly recommend it.
Amazing mountain course right in our backyard!
Wonderful every time
We had my brother's birthday party there and it was really awesome
Challenging course, must add to your list when in Denver area. Always great greens. Friendly staff.
Great food and service. My wife and I love this place.
Fairways has plugs from aeration, greens still showing signs of being aerated/stamped which results in tricky putting. Pro shop items over priced!! The staff downstairs serving at the turn efficient. The staff upstairs serving large golf party not so efficient. Botton line, just an average golf course!
Bear dance made my trip to Colorado memorable, I loved every minute of my time at this course. When you show up the guys get you set up on a cart and send you up to pay, the facilities are well maintained and high end. Range is in good condition and balls are fairly new, pager system for the tee times is a great idea and was implemented well. I played Arrowhead, Omni, and fossil trace on my trip to Colorado/Denver area and bear dance was my favorite. This course is challenging and long from the tips but you feel as the course is your own private area. We did encounter a fivesome on 12 and they didn't let our twosome through until 15 but I filled the time waiting with photo taking so I wasn't too upset. If you're within two hours of this course pony up the cash and try it out, we played at 230 and only paid $75 which felt like a steal compared to the $140 we paid for Arrowhead in the morning.
An all time favorite place to eat. Fine dining or casual fair, always a great experience!
The BEST public track on the front range. Not cheap but well worth it. Awesome practice facility and well maintained from tee to green. SMOKE FREE facility meaning you CANNOT smoke on the course. This is real due to the fact that the course is a gas soaked rag in a tinder box waiting to catch fire. NO JOKE! I have seen sparks from a golf club start a small fire on #11 when the group ahead of us hit a shot from the waste area to the right of the fairway.
Excellent course, staff and in very good condition. My only beef is that it is a bit expensive.
Solid, challenging golf course. Scenic views. Pace of play was great. A mountain/foothills course without gimmicks. Definitely recommend.
Fantastic golf course with a friendly and helpful staff.
My favorite Front Range CO golf course. Challenging, great course conditions, solid practice area. Great golf experience for the money for better players.
Lived in AZ for 40 years and use to post about 125 rounds a year all at various courses. You name it in AZ, very good chance I've played it public and private including Whisper Rock. Many rounds in Florida, Texas, Oregon, Vegas and California. Bear Dance is hands down one of my tops. Gorgeous. Outstanding design. Awesome use of hills, creeks, forest, rock formations, natural contours. Ya.... it's my favorite.
Wow! Have played a lot of courses, this is by far the best public course I have ever played. Ranks right up there with some private courses I've played. This is a must play if you are in the Denver area. Definitely going back to play again when I return to Denver.
My favorite golf course in Colorado. Food and service are always exceptional also!
Brilliant golf course, stunning views. Unfortunately the greens let the experience down because of all the unrepaired pitch marks.
Wasn't playing golf, I was just walking it, beautiful sight though.
If i could give 10 stars i would everthing and everybody was awesome. A definite must play.
Beautiful mountain golf right outside of castle rock. Wildlife and pristine course conditions make for a phenomenal round. Don't be upset if you shoot 10 over your handicap these greens are tough.
Beautiful & majestic for a hidden getaway!
Played in early and late may. Super nice conditions. Equal to Keystone and raven golf courses. The staff was friendly and cleaned my club heads and all. They have pagers to remind people of their tee time. Like being in the mountains but still close to Denver. The greens here are very challenging, multi tiered, roll like glass greens. The back nine is very scenic. Would play everyday if I could.
Marvelous golf course @ 2200 meters above sea level. You should hit it straight. I'll be back !
Nice place
Great layout. Amazing vistas
This is a really nice course that we finally got to play. The reviews make it sound terrific, and in person, it did not disappoint. The course is well designed to give you almost a private feel to each hole. The course plays fairly narrow with trees that line most holes. The greens are fairly quick, especially on the downhill putts. There are a number of fairly blind shots, so having prior knowledge of the course will definitely help. Many will wisely choose non driver on a handful of holes, e.g. #4, #6 the signature hole, #14, & ?#18. Deer, elk, and even bear have known to frequent the property... even adding footprints to some greens. One thing, make sure to have the group ahead of you get to the green on #16 before teeing off, even a middle aged guy can get it to near the lake off the black tees. The food is quite good afterwards. Enjoy!
Bear Dance is the best! Voted Top Denver Golf Course 2017 for good reason. The course is in great shape and the views are unbeatable. The GPS system is on point and the staff is awesome!
Great golf course, amazing views. Tough though. A little expensive but it's one of the best in the state.
Good except it was a non smoking course. Which is understandable but still a bummer
This is a great course! The views are well worth the drive.
Great track, impressive facilities, friendly knowledgeable staff
This place is spectacular absolutely just spectacular the atmosphere the people the customer service it's a hit it's a winner
Great course but the pro( Cy? ) and the ranger ruined the whole experience. He personally sent a foursome at our tee time because they were playing for money then told us not to hit until those players were off of the green? He then had the ranger follow us to tell us we were behind....I think that would go with out saying when you have to wait to tee off so late. Refused to refund money when we decided to quit early. Won't spend my money there again....esp since the greens at my local club were nicer.
Beautiful place to play or have lunch
Played on Saturday Oct 29th. Course is a beauty but I have to say the greens were incredibly slow, the range is a mess (hitting on mats that are old, hard and not level) and the pace of play was awful. It took us over 5 hours to play 18 holes. Marshaling was a joke. They were out there but doing nothing to keep the pace of play up. Almost 3 hours to play the back 9. I spoke with a marshal and he simply stated, welcome to a Sunday afternoon. What kind of response is that. Do your job and marshal to get the pace of play up. While I enjoyed the views and the company I was with , pace of play has to be addressed and the speed of the greens about a 7 or 8 are simply not worth it. This time of year, this course is not a $90 course.
My son had his wedding rehearsal brunch at Bear Dance! It was wonderful! Michel and his staff were so accommodating. Food and service was top notch and the price was so reasonable! Scenery was an added benefit. thanks so much! Lisa and Marty Cella
Nice course, friendly staff
Nice club.
Sucked
Beautiful golf course, but definitely not the best one around. Food was good inside. Drinks were strong, however expensive. The bartender was great and took care of us for our drinks and food. The course staff were very attentive as well. I will go back, but more for the dining and not so much the course. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice course. It's just not as nice as some others that are close by.
Came down for a golf tournament with the realm of caring! Beautiful course and really friendly staff. Enjoyed my time here.
Beautiful Course! Well worth the drive to Larkspur. If you want to play one of the most challenging courses in the state, look at amazing views and enjoy being treated like a member then go play. If you want to give any out-of-state friends or family a memorable Colorado experience take them to Bear Dance Golf Club.
Bear Dance is my favorite golf course in Colorado
Fantastic course, great people
Beautiful golf course will be coming back again
The food is great! I had the kale and beet salad. My husband had the pastrami Reuben. Both were excellent. It's our favorite place to eat in Larkspur.
Bear Dance never disappoints-always fun and always challenging!
Beautiful golf course
One of the best in Colorado. Course is in near perfect shape...
Great course!
One of my favorites. Beautiful Colorado setting. Very challenging. A true Colorado golfing gem ! Enjoy.
Great staff, from the head pro to the bag handlers. Cart service is great also. Enjoy the fabulous course conditions with the best front range views in Colorado!!
Great conditions and awesome views. Staff is very attentive.
Greens are the worst,,, enough said.. Over Priced
Second time there. Beautiful course.
Great golf course and staff.
Amazing service and amazing views, couldn't ask for more!
It has good food, but the people can be kind of judgy here
Best course I have played to date. Greens were in immaculate condition and the course was beautiful. Everything was as expected from this caliber of course. I will be returning as soon as possible!
Scenic, challenging course
Fantastic
Beautiful!
Course was in excellent condition and very challenging. Greens rolled true and held nicely.
WOW! I played Breckenridge, Keystone, Pole Creek and Raven's, all great mountain courses and this place is up to par with all of those! Perfect conditions, very secluded and you feel like the only group on the course. And all that 30 min. from Denver! Highly recommended, especially at twilight prices.
Great golf course!
What a joke!! $135 round, and we can't have a drink in the bar after the round. They booted 8 of us out, of course right after we settled our course tabs. We asked why, and they said it was the wedding. So clearly, amount of money being spent matters. Really? Great course ruined by crappy customer service!! I called back 20 minutes later, and Michele, the bar manager told us it was because we threw a beer can, and the saw our tab on the course, and needed to cut us off. Wow, how did customer service get even decent rankings prior?
One of the best courses in Colorado
Great course
One of the best golf courses in the area. Tee times are spaced appropriately to allow plenty of time for a good pace of play. We were never held up from the front and never rushed from the back. Each hole is well separated from the previous hole and next hole which makes it feel very exclusive and premier.
Great food nice place to just relax
Good times but I can't hold worth a Shizz.
Awesome course friendly staff..great food..good prices..casual
Awesome club and beautiful course
Best golf along the front range.
Awesome course. Love the hills. However, during my weekend of play, it seemed like everyone had the same idea I had. LOL. Pretty crowded. But great course
Beautiful course, tee shot appear challenging but fairways generally open up, greens are like glass and definitely the most challenging part of this course
One of the best courses I've played. Great condition, wonderful experience.
This is an amazing golf course. It has amazing views and a great overall layout. It is pretty long from the tips at 7700 yards, but has lots of options for all players. Make sure to take lots of pictures as there are great views of the mountain range and some picturesque holes like #6. Also, keep your eyes open as wildlife visits are quite frequent at Bear Dance. Everything from Deer and Elk, to Mountain Lion and Bear. So many fun holes at this course for you to enjoy. Definitely recommend playing a round here! Just wait til later in the summer as early spring months can be rougher.
I love this course. The scenery is unbelievable. It is playable for all skill levels. We come back every year.
I love this course! It has become my favorite course in Colorado thus far. My husband and I have played it a few times and it is always in great shape. The people who work it are equally great.
Great golf course and it's in beautiful condition.
Beautiful course and well kept. Excellent representative for a Colorado golf experience!
I FINALLY made it out to Bear Dance a few day ago and I must say, best experience to date. Friendly staff, challenging course and a lot of fun.
Wonderful clubhouse for a breakfast meeting.
Inadequate parking!!!!!!!!!!
Nice place.
Ok
Saw Two bears on 7th hole. Loves the course
My father, brother and I came here last week on our vacation. We had a great time. The staff was incredibly friendly, the course was in great shape and the views are stunning.
Gorgeous course, friendly staff, great beer and food at the clubhouse. Cannot recommend a better time if you want to hit the links.
The back nine is just like Castle Pines Country Club. Totally worth the drive. The reviews about poor treatment is doubtful-- shirts and shoes are required. When you see the scenery and the meticulas grounds, you'll wonder how anyone wouldn't rate this course as a five star.
Excellent!
Nice
Over the top service; in a great way!
Absolutely beautiful, the course was so fun to play!
Course is in good shape for November. It's a tough course, not for the beginner. Great views and nice forest setting.
Love the course
Gorgeous views....
My favorite golf course I’ve played in all of Colorado!
Very friendly staff even with aeration the course played true and the greens were in fine shape. Pace of play was amazing, staff was friendly from bag pick up to the snack bar to the starter. Amazing layout the course offers something for everyone! Will definitely play again and again!
Best golf in Colorado
Great golf course and great service
Great course
Unfortunately, I cannot say this was the best of experiences! Amazing course with less than sub par customer service! A gem of a course that could use a lesson in custom appreciation.
Amazing course
Big and spacious
Great course. Great service
Very nice course has already become one of my favorites after playing just once will be back soon.
Scrumptious! I was not disappointed, rather surprised and very much enjoyed our meal.
The place was absolutely gorgeous we feel blessed to play there. The staff was very attentive on the course and in the club and yes I'd love to move there.
Cart path only and this was still one of the most amazing rounds of golf I've ever played. Having played all around the country, this club goes above and beyond. Cart GPS was invaluable. Ordering food from the gps screen. A clock keeps track of pace of play for you. We rented a set of Nike lefty clubs. They were the nicest set of clubs I've ever played with. Went home to get a price on a set for myself and was blown away by a $2200 retail price on everything in that set.
Great time, great course
Course is in great shape. Starter paired us with a fun couple. Great day.
