We've been members for years, going about once per month. Beautiful in every season!

Paula Marcela Andrade Vidal

Beautiful place to bring your family. Loved Patrick Daugherty's sculpture.

Timothy Welty

Good botanical garden. Unique train display.

Na Spa

Pay admission unless you are a member. Beautiful arboretum year round. Lovely walking trails.

Jerry Harrow

Really be pretty place. Nice place for a stroll surrounded by natural beauty, fountains, and sculptures.

Irene Doniger

So well kept. Very peaceful. Beautiful. Variety.

Realtor Lisa Armellino

My daughter's school took a field trip here today and it was beyond awesome for the kids. We had a great time making our way around the gardens and running them up and down the hill by the ha ha wall was really nice! It's so beautiful this time of year and very enjoyable with or without children. As we were leaving my daughter was asking when we're coming back. Loved it!

Nina Tretiakova

By far, this is the best arboretum I’ve been to. Definitely a must see!

Megen Miller

Great place to wander and take in nature and the trains.

Sandra DeGuire

Loved this place! Ask at the visitor center for the scavenger hunt sheet. I had as much fun checking for the clues as my son did (nearly eight). The train tracks, Japanese garden, and fernery were wonderful to see. Personally, this place is in my top five places to visit in Philadelphia.

twanna Jackson

Wonderful place to go with your whole family beautiful to see

Heather Robbins Doss

Beautiful! Grounds are so well-tended. Spectacular views - a true hidden gem on the edge of the city!

Fay Johnston

Absolutely loved the Arboretum. The trails are all lovely. I especially loved the different gardens and incorporated art that one can explore throughout their journey. They offer food and beverages from their Cafe. I recommend their water bottle (you can refill along the trails) with their fig& Brie panini. Thank you for a peacefully educational experience.

Đ

The arboretum has many different varieties of beautiful trees and plants, varying from roses to redwood trees. Sculptures adorn the grounds, and there are a few hidden walking/hiking trails. They even have an exhibit set up in the trees.

Andrew Burke

Love this place. Check your local library for free passes.

Ben Woodworth

Very cool place. It’s absolutely beautiful and has plenty of stuff to keep young children interested and having fun. I think the trains were the most fun thing for me and the kids. It an amazing setup. So many beautiful trees and plants. Lots of spots to sit, relax, and take it all in. My only issue is that it’s kind of expensive. I think we’d go more often if the prices were lower.

Kevin Flamm

They have made some changes and improvements. Definitely worth a second look.

Hong Hu

My kid likes the train models very much.

Megan Degeorge

We came here for a wedding and it was a gorgeous venue. There were so many places to take pictures (for the wedding party) and there was a really cool tree top lounge that you should definitely check out. Very beautiful place, and educational!

John Sayre

Played a wedding here. Beautiful site. The sculpture gave us a lot to discuss on our break...is it a clock? A hungry bird?

Rachael Mason

I think it's a beautiful arboretum; however, there was also posses of little bridal rental groups moving around that would go into certain locations and not leave some sort of sign that the area was closed for touring. It's kind of annoying to move into an area where there's a large group of people only to be given dirty looks and shooed away when you also paid to visit. Otherwise gorgeous and a really nice walk.

Richard Blaine

Great place to shut your brain off in.

Kristen Franca

I had the best wedding because of Morris Arboretum.

Arushi

Loved this place with kids and family. Perfect for a summer day out with young ones.

Joe Marano

A great way to spend an afternoon. Plus the witchazels we're just starting to bloom.

Aishwarya Pawar

This is a perfect place to have a picnic or a lazy day walking around. Check out the fernery and have a walk around the log cabin and the railway park. Make sure you carry water and a hat for a sunny day. There is a Cafe but its not always open. Also, free entry with a penncard.

Jonathan Richardson

Absolutely gorgeous arboretum. Enjoy a walk with the butterflies, check out the model train section, it will make you feel like a child again! Wonderful gardens.

Barb Hauck-Mah

First discovered this Philly hidden gem by borrowing a free visitor pass from my public library. Great fall color tour location, but there's so much to enjoy year-round for all ages. There's a treehouse, a living sculpture perfect for hide & seek, toy trains running, and a scarecrow contest in the fall. On our last visit, we made it up to the Zen garden and down to the sauna-like fernery . We stumbled upon a "sculpture garden" with frogs and nymphs half-buried in the grasses. If you have more time, there's a footpath that overlooks the Wissahickon Creek. Note that dogs are not allowed and food options are limited outside of summer peak hours.

Carl Lineback

Plenty for kids and adults alike. Beautiful grounds and huge! Gift shop and cafe are perfectly priced... no price gouging!

Alkhansaa A

The garden is so beautiful. My girls had fun with the ducks. I can’t wait to visit it in the Spring.

Scott Goldstein

Has a plethera of walking trails and knowledgeable guides to educate you on the various fauna and flora

ravindra saxena

Absolutely beautiful place for nature lovers

James Sperry

Beautiful! Definitely a must see if you are in the Philadelphia area

Curnel Bridges

Two grandparents and two sub-five year olds had a marvelous time. Tree House,Trains "Bent branch sculpture" high lighted the day.

Sophie Reed

The plant sale had some great plants and was staffed by very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful people. Walking around the gardens afterwards was a lovely end to the day. Very tranquil and relaxing with some interesting plants on display. Looking forward to going again next year.

Pamela Hagler

This is a lovely place. I love the trees, flowers, rolling hill and sculptures. Remember water sunscreen and a bandaid if your kids are adventurous. Be sure to check out the treehouse, fernary and rose garden.

Robert Zang

Location for PRS/Phila. Rose Society meetings (fall- spring) and early June annual PRS ROSE SHOW ( open to public right after judging ca. 1 PM. ALSO, Arboretum has many interesting trees, shrubs, flowers, plants & ferns; model RR display (outdoor); statuary; rose garden...owned/run by U of P. Should NOT be missed !

Adrianne Sanogo

Breathtakingly beautiful, there are words

Gail Enid Walker

A wonderful collection of shade trees native and invasive species.

Kyle Milbrand

There are so many trails, and they are clearly marked. The main trails are pages, so it's easy for all ages and abilities to get around. My kids have fun at all the different little destinations around the property. The train garden is a must-see for kids. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Krista Tye

This is a great place to spend time outdoors and explore. They have a wide variety of trees you don't see in the area (redwoods, katsura). We were too early to see the azaleas in bloom, but there were other flowering trees in bloom.

Megan Wolf

Wonderful place to walk, sit and relax, and pack a lunch. My young kids enjoyed seeing the ducks, playing in the treehouse area, and walking through the beautiful gardens.

Mike Snyder

If you love trees , this is the place to be. What a great variety of trees. Very relaxing place that exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to going back soon! Very nice gardens as well.

Luke

Friend had a wedding here and despite the rain, it was a lovely time. Cute and rustic. The property is beautiful!

Michael Silverman

After Labor Day, the crowds are gone and it's a very peaceful place.

Jazz Goodchild

Loved loved loved. So beautiful. Not expensive at all. Loooved the green house area. I went around the fall time and of course some flowers were missing, but the grounds were still immaculate. I could tell it wasnt their busy season because of how little people were there, but their high season has a bunch of cool things like the mini train railroad for kids and families. The swan pond was super cute. had a lot of fun there.

John Berger

Neat Christmas outing. Would have expected more decorations in the place, but the train area was awesome. It was not too crowded as you get time tickets to keep the crowds down. Gift shop and cafe are small. Hot Chocolate was terrible! Bring your own!

Brooke Straiton

As a photographer, you get lucky when your clients pick a location like this one to get married. So many beautiful spots. The Rose garden and the Fernery (Greenhouse) are magical. The wedding is in a few weeks and I cannot wait to photograph it.

Andrea Davis

Excellent tour! Beautiful grounds. Close to The Boot restaurant. Go on a nice day.

James Gilligan

Fun day outside with awesomeness everywhere

Annette Hopkins

It was a great event. A beautiful site, but parking needs to be closer to the entrance or more signs posted as to how to enter the arboretum.

Jean Boyle

A peaceful, beautiful place to spend a few hours. Learned a few things about trees from here and around the world.

Jason Pastor

I Love this place. Morris in May is magic.

James Christaldi

I was here for a wedding. The grounds were spectacular! Even the buildings, roadways and walkways were well-maintained and cool. I was not impressed with the catering company though. I've been a wedding videographer for 30 years, so I've got a bit of experience when it comes to wedding catering. These folks were dropping the ball at every turn. I look forward to returning here to explore more of the beautiful landscape. However, hopefully not to go and attend, as a guest, another wedding.

Carson Kerr

One of my favorite botanical gardens in the area. The Morris Arboretum has an excellent variety of temperate plants from all around the world, and it's beautiful in every season. It's lots of fun to visit throughout the year and see the differences.

Detra Boyd

Just want you now we have a phenomenal time the children really enjoyed tree house

CrazyJohnsonBoys

It was serene, and a wonderful experience.

Anvesh Reddy

It is absolutely beautiful place in any season. Best part is one can let the kids run around without worrying them to get lost. I would suggest a visit on a sunny afternoon. It was quite pleasant and I recommend it.

Sarah Marino

The Morris Arboretum is absolutely beautiful. I would be more than happy to get lost in there! The Rose Garden specifically has some breath-taking views - I definitely suggest bringing along a camera to capture your visit. Visiting in the summer isn't too bad at all - the trees offer great cover so you can get a break from the sun if you need to. Definitely worth a trip!

Bonnie Bloom

The fernery alone is worth the trip, but we appreciated the many other areas as well. The great lawn in the English Romantic style and Japanese garden are worth the walk to further corners of the park. Concessions are nothing fancy, but reasonably priced.

Christine DeVose

Beautiful place to visit. This is a place for all ages. It's a easy walk and has a lovely collection on trees, plants and flowers.

Credible Critic

Excellent arboretum, managed by University of Pennsylvania. The trees and plants are being built in the landscape. They are well marked by common and scientific names, making it a pleasure to walk around and learn about plants. The ground is well kept. The staff is helpful. The "out on the limbs" exhibit is popular with young children and adults alike. Family can spend 3 or 4 hours to explore. A place to spend with children on a nice day...

Sean Q

Beautiful cherry blossoms and several events during specifically Sun/Sat. Taiko drumming was enjoyable and a tea ceremony demonstration were available. Two tours were also available for the specific trees.

Sarah Wagner

The Arboretum is always beautiful, I've been going there since I was a kid and my family and I always find something new. Well-paved paths mixed with nature trails make for a great mix! Definitely worth the admission or membership price.

John Jones

This is a rip-off place. One of the workers was very rude. He yelled at me for not stopping at entry--I looked back upon leaving, and of course, there was NO stop sign to be seen! There are plenty of positive nature settings to visit. Skip this one.

Gao Chen

A really nice place to visit

Lori Raymond

Love it, love it! Close by, always changing and something for everyone. Trees are incredible and the wooden train world of Philadelphia is amazing for all ages. Be sure to take the family to the holiday display!

Leslie Thompson

We love this place. So beautiful at any time of the year. Everytime I go I discover something I had not seen before. We really enjoyed the holiday rail garden. So amazing. We look forward to our next visit.

Vincent Nocito

Great place for a walk in nature. The garden railway is always a favorite.

John Paul Holloway

A beautiful arboretum. Our family loved going here.

Bill Lutz

Good lecture on CBD oil by Weavers Way.

Katie

I didn't get as much time as I would have liked here, but I think that will always be the case. It is a beautifully-landscaped arboretum with plenty of spots for families to explore and enjoy. I look forward to my next visit when the weather warms up!

Samantha Coon

Great place to walk around. If your bring a stroller definitely don't go on the no stroller trails!

Jeanie Tilley

Whay a fantastic place.

Tracey Pannell Myers

I definitely loved Morris Arboretum! First of all, I love flowers and trees and springtime is my favorite. I went in early April and very much enjoyed the tulips and daffodils and especially the cherry trees! The log cabin was also a favorite as well as the redwoods. I would definitely return soon to see late spring plants and flowers. Well maintained, and really relaxing. And last but not least, I absolutely loved all the small paths and Japanese garden!

Kristen Gaughan

Beautiful landscape with something for everyone. Very peaceful.

Jai Bardhan

Nice holiday train display. Will be back is spring and summer. The place looks beautiful.

Dulce Villanueva

You will not be disappointed! Every thing is so fabulous.

Betsy Cassel

The Thomas the Train exhibit was the highlight of my two year olds week. The food was far above my expectations. I believe this place is peanut free so that's a nice thing for the parents of kids with allergies to know. A nice place to stroll around for the afternoon. Very well kept and clean. Q

Raymond Sanders

Had my daughters wedding there....

Ryan Velazquez

Love this tucked away gem in Philly! Small but amazingly laid out, feels like an escape to a magical garden. Great for all age kiddos, get that energy out and be somewhere beautiful, win win

Eeraj Qaisar

3 stars are for value/price ratio. If the ticket was $10, then I would give it 4 stars. The grounds are nice, though not spectacular. You can cover most of it in 2-3 hours. A few trees are interesting. Visitor center was crowded as was the main parking. If you have a day to spare, I would recommend spending a bit more and go to Longwood Gardens. Morris Arboretum is a nice place, but for $19 entry fees, underwhelming.

Rosemary Hall

A lovely space with several different very creatively landscaped gardens! We were a bit early for the rose garden but I'm sure it will be gorgeous when they are blooming. The gift shop was small but boasted a great selection. The only thing I'd say is many of the gardens weren't very well weeded, but with the extent of the grounds this is fair enough!

Leah Sefton

Gorgeous place. Make sure you visit the giant Katsura tree and rose garden!

Luciana Villar

Such a cute little place for kids and adults. Lots to do but very walkable in one day.

Aurora Wright

Beautiful arboretum. You'll see plenty of wild life while walking around the gorgeous grounds. Plenty of benches and paved walkways as well as grass paths. Huge sculptures and fountains. There's also a swan pond which is picturesque. When you're tired of walking stop by there cafe and grab a bite to eat.

vyacheslav panayev

Great place to spend time with family.

MK thetrainer

Nice atmosphere. Great location for date/couples and families. The only reason astar was deducted was because $20 is a little steep per adult. I'm all this place was beautiful.

Jackie S Yoon

Very easy and beautiful to take a walk. However, two things were to cut a star from the 5 star rating. 1. Its cafe was disappointing. Its atmosphere and decoration was shockingly poor. I expected some kind of cozy cafe to relax, but... 2. There were many kids from schools field trip. I wish the kids did not shout nor scream. While I was there especially in the morning, every place in the garden was endless full of loud screams which distract the beauty of nature and air from calm and relax. I don't mind they run and play in the beautiful nature; however they should learn how to behave in the public place. It would be great if Morris Arboretum consider educating or noticing visitors no shout no scream.

Barb Gunter

Visited today at near perfect temps in mid 70s. Gardens are beautiful. Champion trees were amazing. The outdoor train garden was very well done. Quite enjoyable overall.

Greg Albrecht

Fun for kids and adults. Nice day trip. Limited food options on days they're hosting events.

Kendall Redburn

Wonderful place to walk, has classes and events.

Ang Marie

Worth the entry fee. There's a lot going on in this place, water fountains, bridges, gardens, etc. It's all laid out along a winding path which makes for a lovely morning or afternoon stroll.

Hayden Woodworth

Longwood gardens but more family friendly. So beautiful, especially on a perfect fall day. So many little pockets of fun for kids and adults. Check your library for passes!

SHANE DAVIS

One of the most beautiful places around Philadelphia. The grounds are always immaculate, and there's a balance of organized gardens and wild wetland areas. If you have kids, there are always activities and scavenger hunts. The staff are always friendly, and you always feel welcomed.

Todd Kline

Lovely space. Always great here. If you have children, make sure you visit the cabin and "Out on a Limb".

Charles Wagner

Always a great walk. Paved walks and beautiful views.

Laur Hesse Fisher

Beautiful lawns and gardens. (Mostly lawn.) Hilly, but a big hit with young families. Bring sun screen/hat.

Jacki Conroy

The place was beautiful for a wedding, but the indoor venue was not conducive for the amount of people in attnendance and the setvice was mediocre.

Raman Butok

Really nice place with great collection of trees and other plants. Really nice during blooming season, but also great in Fall. Really relaxing experience that I plan to visit more. Clean and beautiful, looks like people spend a lot of effort caring about this place.

Thomas Palmer

Very rich with CREATIVITY and staff is very professional

Natasha Serrano

Absolutely beautiful. Got a membership on Groupon.

Thor Mccammon

Great outdoor space to hike around and enjoy the outside. Trees and flowers with a nice path to walk and enjoy everything. Cherry blossoms were neat to see but it was a little early in the season to see much else. If you park in the lower parking section there is a shuttle up the hill or for the strong legged a walk up there big hill is rewarding.

cindy christopher

Lots of Japanese maples. Shade was WONDERFUL... 89°

Rob Seitz

Incredible and beautiful in any season. You have to visit a few times to really explore everything this place has to offer. Great for nature lovers, gardeners, and fun family or romantic walks. They also have a lot of educational programs and summer camps!

Gregory Grant

A beautiful and serene place to visit year round but particularly in the spring, summer and fall!

Deepa Patel

Beautiful and relaxing, and much less crowded than Longwood. There's a lot to explore here, with many exotic species of plants and trees. Highly recommend the "Hidden Gems" tour. Pack a picnic and spend the whole day here; there is also a cafe and small gift shop onsite. The treetop experience and model train area are truly unique. Not as immaculately landscaped or maintained as Longwood Gardens, but definitely beautiful and worth a trip!

Christina

This was absolutely beautiful. We mainly stopped for the 'out on a limb' exhibit, but loved the whole thing. It was extremely hot the day we visited, but it was worth it.

Lisa Monroe

I went with my daughter and grandkids and we had a amazing time it is beautiful there. Great exercise.

Brian

Not fully in bloom at this time but overall great experience. Fun to explore.

Joseph Rizzo

Our family really enjoyed our day at the arboretum. The flowers and trees were beautiful, and you get to see a small amount of wildlife. Lot's of open green space to enjoy, walk around. Next time I may bring a book and just enjoy the fresh air and quiet.

Al Cobourn

Cool place lots to see and lerm Free

Laura Olah

My parents took my son to Morris at my request, as I have read such great things about it. I prepared a ‘simple’ list of questions for them to ask the reception staff: (a) $ - annual family membership and Snail slime project (I was intially interested in purchasing both), (b) locations of the the railway, canopy and the Patrick Dougherty exhibit. The reception staff member was kind, but unfortunately not familiar with their offerings, costs and where things were located. The experience after that was one of the most unacceptable we’ve experienced. Because they were not given accurate information, my parents didn’t pay for the slime experience, which was the event my 7 yr old really wanted. Like any child, he tried to be part of the experience but the instructor continued to ignore him. My mother tried to facilitate better interaction. Finally, the instructor looked at my son and said “You didn’t pay did you? You don’t belong.” WHAT ADULT SAYS THIS TO A CHILD?? My mom tried to explain that they were not told there was an extra fee and they were just told to leave because they didn’t pay the extra $25. on top of the entrance fee (apparently that was the case?). They never received proper directions and were sent by staff to the wrong locations for the above mentioned exhibits. But that’s frankly ok. What is most concerning to me is the rudeness and complete unprofessional behavior from staff. Annual membership - no thanks. Ever going back - no, no thanks. I’ll stick to the other arboretums on our Garden Capital passport.

My Coffee Guru LLC

Love, love love Morris Arboretum. Great place for a walk! Grandkids like it here as well. Lots for them to explore, play, run. Each season is like a new park.

Todd Nolen

Such a beautiful place to visit. There is so much for kids and adults to do. Highly recommend.

Muqtadir Hakeem

I had a great experience at Morris Arboretum. I was there for 3 days for a tree climbing class. The class was awesome. I learned a lot. The campus that I did see was beautiful.

Soong Oh

Great place to take a walk and spend some quality time with the people you love.

Alan Fineman

Fabulous acres of outstanding fauna and trees.

Padraic McMickle

This is just a generally nice place to visit and either learn or simply get in touch with nature. They have several events throughout the year for all ages. Spring and summer are the best times since that is when the trees are full of leaves, but all times have their charm.

Rose Kramer

Incredible place to get out & take a walk.

Ruben Rios

It was a nice and peaceful park.

Fernando Cruz

This place is gorgeous. If you love nature then this is a good place to go. Also, great photos were taken here. The staff is always nice and they actually offered us a student discount even tho not everyone in the group had a student ID. The only thing I found complicated was getting there. You need to take the subway from downtown Philly and then a bus.

dennine williams

This is the most beautiful place this side of the world. It's beautiful all year round. I'm in awe of something different every time I visit. I'm having my 50th birthday party here and I can't think of a more special place to celebrate my new beginning.

Tanya Straus

A beautiful retreat. Flowers, sculptures, peaceful walks. But also fun for kids of all ages! Great to learn about nature, very educational. On one walk we saw two rabbits, a woodchuck, chipmunks, not to mention numerous birds and butterflies! The model train is great to watch as well. Fantastic place to go for photos -if you want to get a professional photo session done, you are going to get some amazing shots here!

Lauren Nicosia

Absolutely beautiful! Definitely a must see for families or to just take a walk among stunning trees and flowers! Love the swan lake too :)

Bruce Hayes

Beautiful and historic. The developments of the last 25 years make it even better. Love the garden train and "out on a limb" experience. Great for the whole family.

Jamal Lewis

Awesome place, got married there 2 years ago and hadn't been members ever since

aprilrose041

Wonderful! So much to see!

A P

This is one of the best places around Plymouth. I recently discovered it after staying in this area for so long. I loved it for its calmness and scenic beauty. Its a great place to be with nature. Kids loved the toy train.

John Bertolino

We go there to walk. It's a good two-hour visit even in winter on a sunny day.

Ashley mercier

Attended wedding here! Beautiful venue and the location in the treetops for cocktail hour was absolutely amazing♡

Adrienne Burns

The late spring is a great time to visit. What a treasure!

xiao lin

First time here, due to a groupon discount...... It is good, but may not as good as expected compare with longwood garden.

Sarah Aldrich

So beautiful! Pack a lunch and stay all day! Wheelchair/stroller friendly, great for kids.

Ifti Ashraf

Wonderful Gardens with great staff.

Frank Triantos

Classes are top notch!

Raymond Franckewitz

Beautiful stroll on a Sunday Morning!

Cindi Robinson

We enjoyed a wedding at the venue. It was nice. Slight similarity to Longwood Gardens. But I would say Longwood Gardens is definitely higher end.

william jimenez

Great place to just walk around and take in all the beauty of different plants great Landscaping I'm very serene

Lori Jolley

Lovely place to go for a walk in any season. Friendly and helpful staff. Informative and fun for tree and garden lovers of all ages.

David Eric Hancock

A complete surprise! On the very edge of Philadelphia, in the suburban neighborhood of Chestnut Hill. Beautifully maintained. An outstanding spot to stroll for a while, sit for a while and resume strolling. Hidden right smack in the middle of this sylvan oasis is a real-looking, not so miniature railroad, complete with tooting and bell ringing railroad engines. Bottom line: a visit to this green oasis will delight old and young.

Ed Preisendanz

Really great place. I'm a member of Longwood Gardens and Winterthur, and if I lived near here I'd join Morris Arboretum. Lovely formal gardens as well as informal ones, natural settings, wide variety of flora, and plenty of walking paths (mostly paved), Lots of things to interest small children, too. I'll be back.

Andrea Myers

Beautiful and local.

Tanika Figueroa

Great place to take the family.

Jaime Bianchi

Today a friend and I did an amazing photo shoot here with my acoustic guitar! The employees were ALL so kind to us, and even checked in with us to see photos and chat! (Earlier we had a negative experience at Chanticleer Garden. They did not allow us to enter simply because I had a guitar, but were rude and disrespectful towards us about it.) But it was so refreshing to know that here they are welcoming of instruments and photography! We will be tagging Morris Arboretum in our photos and coming back for other projects and enjoyment! Thank you so much for your kindness

meenal salia

Beautiful place, well maintained. Lovely landscapes. However nothing much for small childrens to do, only net playing area which is not at all enough to keep toddlers or young kids busy. No play area. Even cafe closed at 2.30pm on weekends.

James Forbes

The grounds are meticulously kept, and it's really such a beautiful place to visit when the weather is nice and the sun is out!

Kevin McNeil

Lush, verdant and peaceful. Beautiful, well maintained gardens and grounds. The Garden Railway is a particular draw for children as is the Out On a Limb tree canopy walk and scavenger hunt (ask in the visitor center). We found the grounds to be well attended yet not crowded at all. Ample parking. Worth a visit on your next trip to Philadelphia.

sharon mack

Convenient parking, paved walkways, secluded spots for picnics.

Bill Taylor

We have been going there for years. We used to take our kids, when they were younger. Always a great visit even in poor weather.

Susan Thomason

Great place to visit if you enjoy the outdoors and gardening

Kathleen Brazil

Urban treasure. The stick sculpture was amazing! Flowers and trees from around the world.

Matt Seese

One of those places you are surprised to find within a bigger city. It is quite large and you are able to feel pretty removed from the city itself while there. It is also fairly large, letting you split up your time exploring if you want and still be able to take a good amount of time there. The model train setup outside is very impressive and would wow any kid (or adult for that matter) interested in trains. They also have a great rose garden, but I'm not sure just how long those will keep blooming through the summer. This place is also right next to a huge park with lots of trails that is worth checking out - Wissahickon park.

Laura Fraker

Serene oasis in a busy city. We attended a lovely wedding and reception.

Deborah Cieslewski

I love coming here. Very beautiful and well kept. They have all types of flowers and trees. You can spend the whole day walking through the place. It does have small ponds and little bridges. You also can see animals here. What i really enjoy about this place is the peace and quiet. You can sit on a bench , lay on the grass see different species of birds. It's a joy coming here. The fresh air , the smell of the flowers and the natural beauty makes you want to come back as often as possible.

Aileen Price

This arboretum is beautiful! It's so serene. At one point, I found a little turtle near the end of our walk. If you enjoy arboretums, you won't want to miss this.

Terry Piper

Every visit there is something new to see. The trains are one of the fun stops. Love the rose garden. Take a tour on your first visit to get the lay of the grounds. So many private hideaways with great views.
