I’ve been going to Stroiks for about 5 years to pick Strawberries, generally picking 30-40lbs. Generally I would give our local businesses a 2nd chance but this year I just have to walk away from here. As my son and I were picking our strawberries (That we were paying for as a customer) an older man started yelling at us across the patch because we were not picking every red strawberry within our row and made us STOP In our tracks turn around and come back to pick the strawberries HE very rudely was attempting to force us to pick as he was telling us how unacceptable our behavior was. I told my 11 year old we were leaving and this man said, That’s for the best” I told him he was extremely rude and there was no reason another person couldn’t still pick in that same row keeping calm the whole time as I was trying to explain to my visually impaired son why this man was being so rude. I completely get that they put us in certain rows to pick strawberries that are ready however I am paying for these strawberries and there are certain ones I am looking for and will pick what I am in need of. Need less to say my son and I left with about 7lbs of strawberries compared to 30-40lbs. We will make the drive to go somewhere else from now on
