Usually pretty fresh - wish there was more locally grown produce. When cherries are in season this place has the best! It can be challenging to find produce actually grown in Texas. Farmer's Market often has a good selection. In the spring there is a wonderful selection of fresh herbs and vegetables for planting.

Best farmer's market in the area full stop. Awesome produce and pricing and the plant section, not my primary reason to go there, has some duds but there's gold there as well. Fresh farm eggs, great produce and high turnover make this a integral part of my grocery shopping loop (Fort Worth Farmer's Market, El Rancho Super Mercado and Nguyen Loi)

This is one of the most economical choices anyone can make for fresh produce, great eggs and seasonal plants. You can also get fresh herbs if you kindly ask staff if there's any in stock. We usually get rosemary, thyme, sometimes sage. Fresh Texas pecans can't be beat. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Loved the local selection. Having all those candies available didn't hurt either. Bought mainly souvenirs for our kids, but also some grocery items for ourselves for our weekend away. I remember coming here as a kid and feeling just as happy.

They have a good selection of fresh veggies and fruits plus extras like dried beans and candies and honey and some other things. The people there are nice. There was one very thin older lady there recently that I had never seen before. She was rude to customers, maybe not realizing she was being rude. I think a better job for her would be not working with the public. I go for the veggies and I'm happy with them. The lady was an observation.

They have nice fresh produce. l been getting my peacans shelled there for 3 yrs. If u bring the peacans in clean, u will get excellent shelled peacans at a reasonable price. Highly recommend a visit if u love fresh produce and some produce u cannot get at any store, except maybe Central Market.

Was excited to take the kids. The exterior made us nervous, but once inside the nerves disappeared and we were all taken back to a time when candy was plentiful and reasonably priced. No city prices here!! My little sister did note that online they claim over 900 types, but on the front door only 700. Nobody counted so we will never know. Be careful - some of the taffy is soft and some may break your teeth! Enjoy!

Having moved to TX from the East Coast, had a hard time finding a place that sells fresh veggies and fruits. Came across the market, and was highly impressed. People working there, were helpful, funny, ez to get along with. Was highly impressed with their facility. Also, the plant man, Ben or Brent, i think, was helpful, since my new hobby is trying to grow plants.He was awesome as well. Have been there 2 times and plan on going back this week. They make u feel like a part of the family. They have a beautiful assortment of veggies/fruits/plants. I'm highly happy and impressed with them. I would highly recommend this place.

This store has the best candy and the selection seems endless. Very well organized and clean. It’s like walking into an older grocery store and when you walk in you see vegetables and foods to your left and looking to the right it’s nothing but candy everywhere. The prices are very decent Per pound. If ever in the area gotta take the kids to this place.

Love this place's selections. They have a wide variety of fruits and veggies, plus a lot of unique jarred items. Not to mention the crazy candy choices. That said, the staff are rude. I said good morning to two of the women and they looked me up and down, then continued their conversation without responding. Not sure why they are so miserable, but maybe they should reconsider working with the public if they insist on being so salty.

I was rather disappointed. I saw a sign for farmers market 2 days a week so I made a special trip there on Saturday to see what local goodies I could find. It wasn't really a farmers market. There was produce, but it was really just a small grocery store with some maple syrup, honey, jams and mixes which are the same varieties you see at small boutique stores everywhere (McCutcheons brand). It did have a very large candy selection (half the store) including some hard to find favorites and it was fun for everyone to pick something out. The prices of everything were also really reasonable, actually the prices of many things were down right cheap. So, the place was very nice for what it was, but it is not what you would expect if you were looking for a "farmer's market".

Lots of parking available. Features farm fresh fruits and vegetables as well as Candy Land...the largest selection of candies in the county along with its sister store in Grantsville. You can even find old time favorites like Black Jack chewing gum, Bit o Honey, and Now and Later. There are even diabetic friendly candies and cookies. Also a nice dairy section with many cheeses. There are spices, drink mixes, soup and dip mixes and preserves plus numerous ciders. Excellent selection and service.

I used to come here all the time to get my produce, but it's just a bit too far away to make the pilgrimage. I love their prices and quality is really good! I go once a year to get my plants to grow in my garden, they are always in great shape and really fairly priced. Bought: 8 plants, two pkgs of strawberries, three avocados and three pre-peeled corn cobs all for less than $20. That's amazing!
