We have gone here a few times for Apple picking. Earlier during the season there are more things to pick..this Time we were late in season..but we got a free bushel of apples for spending $25. They make bite size donuts, have a good selection of fruits n veggies, as well as local jam jellies nother goods..they all dogs to go while picking.

Kimball's has an unbelievable selection of delicious heritage tomatoes! On any given day there are over 20 varieties of tomatoes that have never been genetically screwed with. Commercially grown tomatoes have been genetically altered to be more immune to pests and diseases, and to keep them from ripening and going bad too quickly. Unfortunately, in many cases these alterations reduced the sugar content of the fruit, which really sacrificed the flavor! Kimball's heritage tomatoes are the great great great GREAT grandchildren of the tomatoes your grandparent's grandparents grew in the family garden! Brandywine are my personal favorite! At $3.99 a pound they are definitely more expensive than store bought, but the growing season is short so consider it one of those special summer treats! They also grow a huge variety of fresh vegetables, their corn is some of the best I've ever tasted, and the peaches are to die for! They have home baked pies, doughnuts, and pick your own apples and flowers! It's by far my favorite farm stand in the area. Support your local farmers!!

Discovered this place last year when they were in the news for their award winning tomatoes. I must say their cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes are superb! Just had a slice of their apple pie. They are very generous with their apple pie filling which is obvious by the overall weight of it. The crust is very flakey and golden brown. Just delicious! Would give it a 12/10 stars! Definitely a place worth visiting (again & again).
