Best fruits and vegetables around!

There really isn’t much to complain about with Golden Harvest, but it doesn’t quite get a full 5 stars. It is a little pricey compared to a typical grocery store and it is a little cramped inside the store, however they do have a great selection of produce. They also have a decent variety of snacks and they also have a relatively good wine offering. Parking and getting in and out of the parking lot can sometimes be a little challenging during busier times of the day.

Great place! I like that they sell stuff you dont normally see at the grocery store. Some of the stuff is pretty pricey tho. I mean 5 bucks for a tiny organic chip that maybe has like 4 chips inside the bag? Over all good stuff, everything is fresh but if your a cheapo trying to save a few bucks on groceries skip the stop.

I normally don't bother with reviews unless I feel particularly moved by great service or products. GH has met and exceeded all my expectations. I'm not one for fresh produce and wines and fancy cheeses. Even to my untrained eye there is a huge selection of all of the above. By now you must be wondering, "What DOES she like about this place!?" I'll tell ya. The people are all friendly and helpful! And.... mostly the salad bar. The homemade hot soups. I don't cook, but unfortunately I still need to eat. Fast Checkout and relatively easy parking means I can get in, out, back to work, with time to eat on my 30 minute break! I usually pay less than $7.00 for a filling meal. Beats Burger King in all categories: price, taste, and a healthier option! So, today I went and bought a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. Also a cup of their Loaded Potato Soup. Lunch was the CNS, DEVINE.

Fresh produce, some organics. Great herb selection, salad bar. Wonderful cheese selection and wine and fresh cut flowers as well as seasonal plants in a pot. Breads from local bakeries. 3 seasons serving 3 different kinds of ultra delicious soups. Provide raw milk as well as other dairy. Bulk granola, so go there to get rid of the packaging. GH is environmental friendly.

Normally I love it ! Freshest produce! Compare grocery stores! But cashier kept talking to friend in line! Which would of been fine if she was like hi ? But ignored me ! And made me wait until the conversation was done! I know I look Hispanic but I felt like a second class citizen here ! :(

Local-sort of. They don't carry any more local produce options than the local Hannaford. It can be more expensive as well. Good wine options and they do carry locally made desserts.

I enjoy going into this place to buy my vegetables...until Sat (5/21). Guess that there is always one RACIST in every store. Old hag got hostile when I questioned the price of the produce. She then yelled across the store when I went to check on the price. She STUFFED my pricey and fragile leafy greens into the bag and then DROPPED my vine tomatoes on top...this was AFTER she DELAYED bagging my vegetables. Guess working for minimum wage and waiting on a "MINORITY" really got to her.

Great prices on their fresh, mostly-local produce. They sell herbs in half-bunches, again at a very reasonable price, and if you need some pantry goods, wine, and/or cheeses, they've got those too (though that stuff costs a bit more). I love the place, and I'm there almost every week.

As a local, I like going to Golden Harvest. They even came through when I needed celery root for a soup! (They hadn't put them out on display yet and had just got them in so I had top pick of the bunch). Sometimes the service is spotty, but overall good. Some of their items are pricier than what other places would typically charge, but their produce selection is always top notch.

Very convenient place to get your fruits and veggies, especially in between grocery store trips. They have a salad bar Mon thru fri, very fresh very delicious, the only down fall is if u need a can of beans, diced tomatoes or a jar of salad dressing expect to pay almost double what you would at the grocery store!
