Its a nice location with friendly staff and a good variety of items but I would recommend not purchasing pets from here. I purchased a female rabbit (labeled as such and told by staff it was a female as well) as a mate for my male and the transaction was fine with no issues. At first they were totally fine with each other and it was cute to watch them snuggle. It was only later when the rabbit matured and we took her to get spayed that we found out she had been misgendered and was actually a male! Now I am stuck with 2 territorial males that can't hang out together without fighting. This is a super frustrating turn of events that could have been avoided if he was gendered correctly.

When we walked in the store was really clean the employee's were really helpful the fish looked so healthy and clean besides one fish the only bad thing about this store was the cages that the bunnyes were in were TO small

Love Atlas and never go anywhere else! Customer service here is beyond compare- to any business I currently visit or have visited in 20+ years. Seriously fantastic, plus they have great prices and two loyalty programs- one for food and the other a general. Being someone on a tight budget, I sometimes find it hard to support local businesses, but their prices are seriously comparable or cheaper than Fleet Farm. Plus, their treats are high quality! You’d think their store is small, but it seriously provides everything you could need- they pack so much in!

The customer service was great. The fish seemed well taken caren of (other than the larger fish which were kept in the same size tank as the guppies?). They had a wonderful array of products that were high quality. My only complaint is the treatment of the live mammals they had for adoption. They had rats, bunnies, guinea pigs, gerbils, and more yet all of them were kept in a 1 1/2 ft by 2 1/1 ft space that was way too small! The bunnies couldn't hop around if they wanted to and the rats (who are known for being smart) had nothing to play with. The birds seemed a bit better off but still needed larger enclosures. It was worse than Petco. I am still pleased with the quality of the fish I purchased but it turned my stomach knowing it would be going to the poor care of their mammals. If you are looking for some odds-and-ends or hard-to-find brands this is probably where it's at.

My daughter won some goldfish vouchers at a school carnival and was begging to go get some fish. First time in was very impressed. We were greeted immediately by a female associate (didn't get her name) which was a pleasant surprise! We didn't end up with goldfish but did get a new addition to the family and also a lot of great information from both the manager Jeff and 'fish guy' Caswell. I am always looking for the most time efficient way to do things but they both took the time to walk me through setting up a new tank and best possible environment for our new fish with the least amount of stress and best possible outcome. I learned more today than I have ever in their past and I've owned fish at several points in my life. Thank you for a great first impression and service - we will be back again!

Friendly staff, great saltwater selection. This location is very clean very good selection of products. If you want something they do not not carry (including fish and corals) they will do there best to special order that for you. The manager Kelly is awesome and friendly and I always have a great experience at this location!!!

Small town feel, and love how they carry the heavy bags of dog food to your car. They also have a self serve dog wash that is great as well. All the employees have been super helpful and friendly and keep me coming back!

So I brought my 2 grandkids in to purchase some hermit crabs. 3 were purchased along with a reptile kit which was the tank, food etc. Upon returning home and setting up the tank we noticed 2 cracks in the corners of the tank. I called and was told to bring this one in and they would gladly replace the tank. Okay fine. So I loaded up the kids and returned to Stillwater with the damaged tank. We got home and took off the protective cardboard off the top and bottom only to find the bottom of the glass had a crack in it. Once again I called the store only to be told to bring it back for another one. I spent over $100.00 plus the gas to get to Stillwater twice and then they tell me to come back a third time! I should put 120 miles on my car for something that should have been fine with one visit to the store. This is not acceptable to me. I will be calling the company and see if they can help me better than the store did. I was impressed with the store and employees but not with my purchase. Will I return there or recommend this place. I think not!!

This Monday July 11th/2016 I Went To Stillwater Atlas Pets, In The Afternoon Things Were Busy. I Walked Passed A Young Man Helping A Young Lady,He Told Her I Need To Get My Manger To Help. He Seen Mangement Walk Passed Him, He Asked For Help And Mangement Replied "Can't You see I'm Busy Helping Someone Else I Can't Help!" So On She Was Able to Help This Young Lady Buying some Kind of Shrimp.. The Young Lady said She Changed The Water Like Advised... Mangement Told The Young Lady "Its Your Fault For Killing The Shrimp! Not Ours!".... We'll Replace it For now Any other Time This won't happen.. Since This I won't be back to shop here nor will family nor friends with such disrespectful Management. This Young Lady Should be Given Another Shrimp For cost To The Rudeness She Experienced. The Young Lady Was so patient and kind.

I love this pet store! Whenever I am in the area, it is my one stop shop for almost every single one of my pets! They offer a wide variety of fish, reptile, small pet, dog, cat, and even bulk seeds so the wildlife is happy too! The staff is also very friendly and resourceful! If something isn't in stock they will get it shipped in in a timely manner and even did added research for products that we were debating on purchasing and if they would be the best items for our pets! Other key points that puts them above the competition is they are reasonably priced and even carry heavy, bulk items to your vehicle!

I was offered assistance immediately upon walking in the door. They had exactly what I needed (Swheat Scoop cat litter), the employee carried it to the cash register, and even offered to take it out to my car. Very rare to find this level of customer service. This will definitely be my one stop for pet supplies from here on out.

I've been going there ever since I bought a chinchilla cage. They've been super nice. I've bought 6 rats from them total. First two young female. One had eye problem at first but it was due to the wood bedding. Only place we can find that sells male rats. We bought a pair that was dropped off there by some irresponsible person. They told us that someone left them outside of the door in a cage. No note. They told us before we bought them that they didn't know much about them. They seemed healthy so we bought them. One of the pair died due to unseen health issue. (We think it was a kidney stone) so we went back for a new friend for the bonded male so he wouldn't get sick from being depressed. We bought a young healthy male to go with and a big full sized male who got bought before then brought back due to him biting the last owner. Or so the last owner told Atlas. They've all been super sweet rats. We've been there for fish too. They helped us out when we didn't know what was wrong with the fish. I've had better business from them than any other big name pet store. :)

We used the self service dog wash and it worked great! They provide shampoo and an industrial blow drier. Took about 20-25 minutes total to wash and dry our husky/collie mix.

Hate this store if I could give it zero stars I would. My friend was guilted into purchasing a Holland Lop who turned out to be far too young and died of disease less than a week after she brought it home. Shame on them for putting a five week old bunny up for sale and not warning anyone. It's disgusting they don't care about animals only money.

My family and I stopped in for the 2nd time today for saltwater items. It took 15 minutes before anyone helped us, the guy stated they don't keep up with the stickers, so just cause the sticker says it's there, doesn't mean it is. Then there wasn't a price for a specific shrimp I wanted, he went to look it up on the computer. Came back with a woman who misclassified the shrimp. They were not helpful or friendly. Won't be going back again.
