Cris and his staff are the best. If you want to learn from someone who knows his stuff, its Cris. The store is incredible and has all the latest equipment and gadgets . Their frags and corals are top notch , the store is well run and not too large. Being open on Fri and Sat only is tough but I understand. His business is Mostly Aquarium maintenence. This does allow for him to have an exceptionally clean shop , its well stocked and does not have the issues that many retail saltwater fish stores run into by being open 7 days a week.

I love this store! IMO, they have by far the best selection of Denver local fish stores (corals, fish, and dry goods), and also still have the best prices. Everything I have purchased from them was perfectly healthy and is still thriving in my tank today. The staff is awesome, honest, super friendly, and actually know what they're talking about. I'm currently on vacation up in the denver area. Of course I had to check out the lfs scene. My last visit was disappointing. However this trip up I made it to aquatic art... I was blown away!!! Chris the owner has a very impressive store. Don't let the exterior storage unit look fool you.( he obviously invests his money in livestock and equipment.) His dry good selection was the best I've seen. From neptune apex controllers to ecotech marine to reef octopus skimmers you would expect to be special order. His coral holding tanks were unbelievable! Super clean. The frags are huge, and most are what I would consider a small colony. And his prices are on point! Ranging from $10 -$150. He also went out of his way to hold pieces an extra as my trip isn't over. I promise if your ever in the denver area you won't be disappointed with aquatic art!!!

Aquatic art is the best marine and reef store in Colorado, aquarium and fish is real clean, they Corentine the fish for you already, so all you have to do is got home and add them into your aquarium. They have one of the best coral selection in Co. I been to all fish and aquarium stores in Colorado, and Aquatic Art is the best one, that my opinion. The prices on marine fish and coral are the cheapest compare to all other store, there frags are the best for the prices. They hook you up with a big pice of frags, not like other store were they only give you a small pice for more money. The drive to aquatic art is kinda far but it worth the drive. I live out by DIA and the drive is a45min drive for me, but that the only store I shop and go to. Salt is real cheap there. Worth the drive,trust me. Aquatic art keep it

I've never seen a fish store so consistently perfect. In fact, I've never seen one more perfect on it's best day. The owner is amazing and connects with all of his customers. I think that's because he's used to doing maintenance and having that close relationship. It's meant a lot to me and my husband. They're always willing to order something if we need it and the price is always unbelievable. He regularly stocks interesting fish as well as the staples and all the fun inverts. The corals are indescribable in color and health (not to mention good prices). It's fun to visit no matter what you're looking for. Sometimes it takes a few minutes of staring at the display tank to think of what yours needs.

I went in to get a couple cleaner shrimp. I walked in the door and was just astounded at quality of the tanks in this store, absolutlely pristene. No algae anywhere. Crystal clear water. Vibrant corals. Healthy live stock. I was so impressed with the help I got for my little purchase, that I decided to research them a little. Come to find out they create and maintain huge commercial displays. I thought if you are responsible for 1000 gallon salt displays, you must have extensive knowledge. After a few visits, my wife and I decided to look into a good size tank for our home. We settled on the equipment we wanted , and something I had never done , have it installed. The best decision we have made in years. Significantly more work to do correctly than I had imagined. I was very pleased with the reasonably charge for so much effort. The install went very smoothly and with a lot of consideration for our home. We are delighted. We have a stunning set up and NO regrets. Go there and be impressed.

Fantastic store. My wife and I went in there and we were both blown away with their coral selection (she's not even THAT into aquariums, maybe more than average, but it's definitely mostly my tank). Amazing corals, and some very fair prices (not the cheapest place in town, but my wife and i both agreed that they were of higher quality than some other places and worth the extra few dollars). The 2 guys i was talking to were EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. I will be back, without a doubt. Not the biggest selection of fish in town, but still a good collection that's worth checking out. Also, their 500g display tank is one of the most impressive tanks i've ever seen. Granted i've only been in the hobby about 2.5 years, but I'd say you could put it in the aquarium section at the Denver Zoo, and it would be the 1st or 2nd nicest tank in there.

This was my first visit to the store, as soon as I walked in I was thoroughly impressed with the display tank they had. As I got to looking around I knew this was the right place to go. All their frag aquariums were in pristine shape with a selection of corals I haven't seen anywhere else. The staff that was there were very friendly, knowledgeable, and treated me very kindly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I live pretty far from this shop but will go out of my way to give them my business.

I bought 8 frags here. The frags were really reasonably priced and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I noticed when I got home though that Vermetid snails were growing on one of the frags so I'd inspect your frags very close before you introduce them to your tank.
