Everything was super well organized and I was so impressed with how talented my teammates were and how good the dishes came out. Still don't think I'll ever put tomatoes in a dessert again, but now I know it can be done (and actually taste pretty delicious)

FYOOD is so fun! It's a great place to do something creative and unique in Portland. It is very well run. I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique date, a reunion activity, some bonding time with family or friends, or a team-building activity with coworkers. The food is inspiring and you definitely won't leave hungry!

I organized this event as a corporate group team activity and it went off without a hitch! I was concerned that some teammates would not be fond of Fyood because they don't cook, but we split up evenly and had a blast! The ladies that were our "guides" throughout the evening were so fun, and helpful. The whole experience was so fun and I will look to do this in every city we go to from here on out!

What an incredibly unique and fun experience! Fyood is one of my all time favorite activities for a night out in Portland. I've brought friends and family with all sorts of different levels of cooking experience (from none to a professional baker) and every single one of them has had a blast. Fyood removes all of pain points of cooking: Don't like doing the dishes? Don't have a nice kitchen or the equipment you need? Wish you weren't always cooking by yourself? Love competition? Fyood has you covered! Fyood resides in a state-of-the-art kitchen fully equipped with every tool imaginable. You and your cooking partner(s) get to create imaginative dishes, eat delicious multi-course meals, and make a mess without having to cleanup! I have participated in Fyood 5 or 6 times and have never had a single bad meal. People of all ages and any level of cooking experience can come and have a great time. As Pixar so beautifully tells us in Ratatouille, "Anyone can cook!"

There are no words that can fully sum up just how much fun I had playing Fyood! From start to finish, this event was seamlessly planned and run. We organized this as a friends night out, but this would be the perfect birthday party or bachelor/bachelorette party! If you're looking for a great night out in Maine, you have to give Fyood a try! Located at Fork Food Labs, the commercial kitchen was far and away the nicest space I've ever cooked in, and the only one I've ever been encouraged to NOT do the dishes. That's right, they do the dishes for you! Every ingredient you need to try and make a delicious dish is right there at your fingertips. Your one responsibility, have as much fun as you can. And let me tell you, it's an easy responsibility to fulfill. I love to cook, but one of the best things about Fyood is that you don't have to cook to be involved and enjoy yourself. A few of the people in our party just weren't interested in cooking. So, they got to be judges, which meant they were just as involved in the action as the rest of us. Like I said, everything is so well thought out and executed. I could wax poetic about Fyood till the cows come home, but I'll spare you my long winded ramblings. I will close with this, sign up for Fyood, you'll be grateful you did!

Had a super fun time celebrating a milestone birthday with a great group of friends. More than one of them said It was the most fun they have ever had at a birthday party. Maddie has created a fun experience for all ages and cooking skills.

SUCH a fun experience for me and my team! Maddie tailored every detail to our group. I was especially impressed with the inclusiveness in accommodating dietary restrictions. I learned more about my fellow teammates and created dishes I never would have imagined otherwise (Tomatoes can be a DESSERT!?). I never knew I could be so creative in the kitchen! Looking for a unique bachelorette party idea? Look no further than Fyood! I booked Fyood for my best friend's bachelorette party of 12 girls and we couldn't have had a better time. Everyone gets involved and Maddie makes the event super approachable, no matter your skill level. Fyood was able to accommodate all of our dietary needs, and the best part was not having to book a dinner reservation because we cooked for ourselves! Working together was a great bonding experience, especially for girls from different parts of the bride's life who may have never met before. Bonus: between the chef's hats and unique food ideas, there will be plenty of instagram-able moments :)

Great Company Outing! I brought the members of my staff there for our annual summer company outing. Everyone had a blast! It was so much fun. We had three teams and made an appetizer course and a dessert course. The food was delicious using combinations I would have never imagined! I was surprised that I had some true culinary experts on my team that I never even knew about. I will definitely do this again. Maddie Purcell is a marvelous facilitator and she organized a superb day for my team. Thank you, Fyood! I highly recommend.

What a BLAST! Maddie was an attentive and excellent host in helping me execute all parts in making sure the kick-off event for my sister's bachelorette weekend in Portland was fun, energizing, and memorable! Our Fyood event was definitely the highlight amongst a jam-packed bachelorette weekend. By the end of the weekend, we continued to remark how great it was that the group started out with some people who were literal strangers and by the end of the event we felt an incredible bond (and full bellies) by competing at Fyood. This experience was made all the better by the attention and pride Maddie and Tim put into hosting the event. Maddie customized the mystery baskets to not only match the theme of the party (pineapple) but she also made the effort to get to know more about my sister before we even arrived so she could tailor the event around her likings. That was really special. Tim does a great job capturing photo/video which made it easier for us to focus on the cooking and then still be able to reflect on those very hectic moments that he captured afterwards. You feel like the star of your own show! I could not even begin to suggest a better ice-breaker type event for a group! You won't be disappointed even if you ate chocolate covered tofu noodles that someone made! Maddie and Tim, thank you so much for such a wonderful experience AND for doing the dishes!

Fyood is truly a magical experience where competitive cooking can be done by anyone. My favorite part was the first few seconds after revealing what the mystery ingredients are that you have to incorporate into your dish. Thinking of all the things I both do and don't know how to cook and how they'd work with whoopie pie, pumpkin soda, chorizo, and bok choy.
