If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would! I made an appointment online and when I walk into the facility I am told that the actual wait time begins once I walk in. What is the actual point of this? I was in severe pain and I had to wait in an waiting room full of people! I would try to get in touch with their management but reading other reviews I see they’re not the greatest either. I have been to other urgent cares in the past and their service is much better and I would prefer them over this dump of a place.

Visit went well but I don’t understand how this “doctors office” doesn’t have water to provide to patients in need. Asked for a cup of water from the water cooler in the back and receptionist denied the water but did offer to get me a cup for the water fountain. I found that to be very odd.

The worst urgent care around!!! Arrived 25 minutes before 8pm on Tuesday in pain with swallowed eye and fever, nobody cared!!!! So they point on exit door to my husband when he was in pain 25 minutes before closing time! There was no line, and the explanation was “we are closed”!!!! their hours listed on the front door and online and it was 8pm!!!! What the hell is wrong with you? Are you a doctors office or cheap grosery store?!! Don’t forget that you responsible for humans life, don’t treat people like a bag of potatoes if you want to be a doctor! Really worst experience! Thankfully there are other urgent care services around that even opened till 9. Magically this place has a hight rating on google but if you look up other feedback on other website it’s urgent care barely rated 2 stars and lower! Will never returned here even if it would be the last place on earth where you can get medical treatment!

I must say that after coming here a few times, this is definitely my favorite urgent care! Although the front receptionist wasnt too friendly, the nurses and doctor were extraordinary. The young ladies amanda and rowan were pleasant and sweet. dr. sal was great! thumbs up.

What a terrible experience.. I called the office around 3 pm to make sure the time for the drug screenings since I would go in for a job offer. Lady on the phone stated I had to be there before 7pm. I arrived at your office at 615 pm to an extremely rude employee seemed to be more than happy to let me know that the actual time for drug screenings are 8-5. I walked away and seriously do not know what I will do now since I only had a 24 hour window to do this test. Zero professionalism good thing to know because I would not use your services at all.

Wonderful service! Daughter fell off skate board and fractured her wrist. The took great care of her. Very compassionate, kind took their time even though we came in a half hour before they closed. The Radiology tech was an angel with her, he really took top notch care of her. I could not be happier with this establishment.

I went to place on pain with a first and second degree burns from hot water at 7:20PM. The close at 8PM. I was told they couldn’t see me because the doctor had a “emergency”. But another lady was signing in. I went back at 8:12pm because my pharmacy is next to it and there they were! So I think because it was 7:20pm they didn’t want to see me. Thanks God for City Md, I got there at 7:40PM (they also close at 8pm) and I was thankful to be seen there!

Sometimes we have to wait, that’s life. But the staff are always so kind, helpful, and really make me feel like they are on my side instead of making me feel like I’m making their day more hectic. A lot of other places have treated us like an inconvenience. Not here! Always worth the drive and worth the wait.

Wonderful DR and staff. Very professional and clean. Even with it being busy I was in and out very quickly. I definitely will be using this center for any time that I need an urgent care clinic. So much faster than waiting for an apt with other drs. I was able to check in on line.

I had an excellent experience today at AFC Urgent Care in Lyndhurst. The staff was great and Dr. Aghabi is outstanding. He diagnosed my illness immediately answered all of my questions. The prescriptions he ordered were waiting for me at my pharmacy when I arrived. The wait was less than 5 minutes. I was very pleased with care I received.

I went in with my aunt who, at the end of it all, got diagnosed with PNEUMONIA. We first did a Telemedicine visit and the doc said she needs to either go to an Urgent Care or the ER to get and XRAY. She was barely there mentally as she was very weak and she barely speaks English. Before I get into it, I just want to say that the front desk people are wonderful and so is the x-ray tech. I would give them five stars if I could do so separately. We saw Dr. Hannah Aghabi. I have to say I have had this doc before, but he was never this effing NASTY. So we sign in, and I put reason for visit "acute respiratory infection, X-Ray." I guess everyone thought I was her daughter as I put myself as an emergency contact. So anyway, we go in to the room, and Dr. Aghabi comes in. He tells her to breathe in and out and she isn't even paying attention because she is so weak and foggy. You have to be plainly stupid not to see that, and he goes to comment, right in front of her face "this is the most difficult auscultation I have over done," while shaking his head. I told him, give her a minute, she is weak and out of it. So I tell him the symptoms and he said she just has irritation from coughing, and walks out. No directions, except the attitude he kept giving. He asked me if I'm her daughter, and I told him I am her niece, so I guess he thought her "daughter" wrote "x-ray" on the intake form. He goes to say "she doesn't need x-ray, but I guess her daughter wrote it in, which is ridiculous, but were just gonna do it just to please her daughter." WHAT?!?!? He was talking s*** about me right to my face, not knowing that it was me!!! I didn't say anything, but I was so mad I was in tears. So anyway, they do the x-ray and find PNEUMONIA. So f this place. I'm not going there again, and please do not go there. Not worth it for the attitude and lack of compassion you are going to receive from the doc. Don't give him business.

Been there twice and both times the staff was so pleasant. The waiting time was no more than 15 minutes and that was a walk in. They also have an x-ray machine which is so convenient. Highly recommended 5 stars for sure

Their positive attitude and energy made the process enjoyable although feeling so sick. As a first time patient as soon as I filled out my info I was seen right away. This place is horrible daughter in-law brought in for flu symptoms... week later called back to say she wasn’t better... told by person who answered phone dr will call back... never did. Needless to say my daughter in-law is in the hospital hooked up to ivs with a severe kidney infection never had the flu!!! Incompetent place !!! Care more about payment then people!!! This place is terrible, I brought my son there and was assured by the owner of the facility that if the doctor couldn’t treat him that I would be reimbursed. Well I was seen for a maximum of 4 minutes to be told that I should follow up with his pediatrician! I have worked for doctors for 15 years and I would never have treated patients the way they treated me and my son.No privacy no professionalism and no return call when emailed. It is very disappointing that a health are facility behaves in such a manner.Do not go if your ill wait until your physician can see you. Or ,go somewhere else!

Today was my second time at AFC Doctors Express Urgent Care. Both times I had two different doctors. There is nothing "express" about the way you are treated here. The staff and doctors I have dealt with stop to actually listen to you and truly seem to take a vested interest in your health. I love it here so much. So clean, so professional, and for me the most important, so kind. The only thing "express" about this place is that they try their hardest to not keep you waiting long.

I even asked that day I was there walking out the door if there was anything due and they told me no. I Will be going to a different place in the future to avoid my credit being tarnished.

The check in online feature is POINTLESS. Your wait time doesn't begin until u walk through the door. So i signed in at 9am at home, it said my time to come was 10:43am. When i got here i waited another hour! Receptionist said the check in online doesn't matter. So the hour and a half i waited to come here, i could have been here waiting probably less time!!!! However the receptionist was very nice.

URGENT Care"? ...Quite an oxymoron as evidenced by the phone mannerisms of the staff under office Manager "Brian". (Thats the name the Male who took my call today threw me.) URGENT Scare seems waaay more accurate. Sighs...well, My first visit I waited well over an 1.5 hrs for a Physician (No name given, so I assume it's the one on my prescription?) to talk to me about 2-3 mins. Today I did call only due to urgency, bc the staff the last time, well, were not that caring, imo. I was going to give this place a 2nd chance, but... I spoke to a female receptionist 8:30 (ish) earlier who had no sense of urgency in helping me (I tested extremely high on my BP monitor and I need medication/refill asap to avoid another stroke.) Additionally, and with the reception giving me a challenge, I wanted to speak directly to Dr. Leandro Lecina. In his defense, my best guess is he was never even contacted bc they couldnt care less for me as a patient. In my not so humble opinion... IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CASH - not the Patient. The Office staff seem to take urgent medical matters into their own hands regardless if I had another stroke right then during the call. (FAIL) I felt belittled as a human being, to be fair. REVIEWS of AFC lol, "Urgent Care" (42-1 star reviews on google alone and there's more horrible reviews if you know how to search), prove this facility is poorly Managed and they need to tweak patient issues and possibly clean house. That mentioned, the cons speak for themselves and I HIGHLY encourage all potential patients to be savvy and do your research. The staff gave me a feel of fukc your reill -PAY! A dangerous precedent seen today by those who take a hippocratic oath to help us. Lastly, a shout out to all the staffs Moms and Friends for a fringe of the 5 star suspect reviews! ;)

Doctor to the point ask me if I had any concerns or questions about medication. Very clean in reception area and inside also. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I have been there 3 times for the past 2 years. the front desk girls are very nice and welcoming but the doctors were rude and barely spent more than a minute with me. very low communication skills. last time I had breathing problems and chest pain, they just gave me antibiotics and barely spoke to me, I came back 7 days later still with the same health issues and I got pretty much yelled at by the doctor saying I should just be patient and I'm overreacting. gave me prescriptions for painkillers and out the door you go. never coming back there again. I'm not the only one in my neighborhood here in Lyndhurst who had a bad experience there.

Went in on a Monday evening with flu-like symptoms. I was expecting to wait hours to be seen at a walk-in clinic however I was in and out in about a half hour. The staff was so friendly and polite and they sent my prescription to my pharmacy automatically. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend them over every other walk-in clinic I’ve been to.

This was my first time at a urgent care clinic. I woke up with an incredibly sore throat, swollen tonsils and white patches. My primary physician of course couldn't see me until Monday (a whole 4 days of pain) so I decided to come here instead. This was some of the nicest desk and medical staff I've ever run into. Everyone was very helpful and polite, and I didn't even have to wait long. Sure enough within minutes it turned I had strep throat.

I have always highly regarded this place due to the limited wait time and friendly, knowledgeable staff. However, within the last few months, my experience with one of the new administrative assistants at the front desk has completely changed the vibe. Unfortunately, I was sick quite a bit this winter and this particular staff member at the front desk was extremely rude, each time from the minute patients walk in the door. All other staff are friendly and polite but this particular person was behind the desk each time I've arrived over the winter, making me cringe just thinking of walking in. She has been consistently unwelcoming to say the least which is unfortunate. When you're not feeling well, and you go to the doctor for help, but show up and get treated like garbage as soon as you arrive, it doesn't set a positive tone for the visit. And it certainly doesn't make anything easier when you already feel ill.

The MA Amanda was especially courteous to me during this visit being that it was hard to get around with swollen legs. I went for a physical and met a great Doctor who took her time to get to know me and asked a lot of questions. She made me feel comfortable and it's a very clean modern facility. I ended up getting bloodwork to check my cholesterol levels etc. Highly recommend for emergencies, ailment and general health.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went there with my son because he got hurt and had pain on his lower left leg. I got there at 7pm and since my son only turned 2 the FOLLOWING day, the doctor refused to see him. He was 5 hours shy of turning two!! I didn’t even make it past the welcome at the front desk. I was told to go to the ER or PM Pediatrics. I went to PM Pediatrics in Clifton and within an hour of leaving this place had seen a doctor and had an X-ray done. I think the doctor just didn’t want to deal with any patients since they were only open for one more hour and there was no one else there. Shame!

It was very easy to make the appointment here and there was absolutely no wait time. The front desk staff was very nice and very helpful and pleasant. I went in with swollen glands and it was difficult to swallow but not much else. I was not happy with the amount of attention the doctor gave me. He barely examined me and didn't ask me any questions. I told him of concerns that I had regarding exposure to shingles because I have had EBV in the past but he shrugged it off. Without telling me what was wrong he left me in the room and proceeded to an office to send prescriptions to the pharmacy. I was disappointed that I didn't get a strep test or a mono test that the woman who took my vitals explained that they could do on site and with immediate results. I guess I went on a bad day because I can't believe that people's standards would be so low as to give this particular doctor rave reviews. He was a bit standoffish, and seemed totally uninterested in anything I had to say. He made me feel like it was an inconvenience to see me. That was the quickest visit I believe I have ever had anywhere. I was in and out in about 15 minutes from start to finish. I didn't feel that I received a thorough exam, especially for my $50 copay. I don't feel as though my concerns were addressed properly. I was left sitting in the exam room and had to get up and go over to the doctor while he was ordering my prescriptions and ask if I was done and what my diagnosis was. I would not go again if the same doctor was on staff if I needed to go. I honestly don't even know his name. I gave 3 stars because the facility was very nice, clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly and wait time was non existent. However, today's visit was nothing more than a prescription drive through. Hopefully, I'm being treated properly and nothing was overlooked during my 4 minute exam.

I've been sick more than average this year. I just got over a sinus infection and now dealing with possible strep throat. Both times instead of the doctors beating around the bush telling me it's post nasil drip. They didn't waste any time. Immediately prescribed me antibiotics. the great part is they are open late, take walk ins, also they are very reasonable with their prices if you don't have insurance. I would recommend urgent care any day of the week. I can't speak for all of urgent cares just the one in lyndhurst near shop rite.

I cannot speak highly enough about AFC Doctors Express in Lyndhurst. The staff is friendly and NICE! That goes a long way with me. The doctors I have seen have all been great. I haven't had a lot of good experiences at doctors offices...but I'd rather go here than to my PCP office who isn't as friendly and has crappy hours. I have recommended AFC to multiple people. Keep up the great work! You have a regular client in me!

Wanted to give 2 starts because in general people there are nice and friendly... But will still give 1 as the remedy they gave me was wrong and not needed. I can tell you they love to tell you got a) ear infection b) tummy bug. Doctor will barely spend any time with you.. 2 mins max. After they will give you antibiotic and send you on your merry way. Since my experience was bad I went for a second opinion to my primary doctor(he was on vacation at the time of my first exam) and got told absolutely NO ear infection and no need for antibiotics..

Went here on a Saturday wasn't feeling well they took my insurance card only to tell me 10 minutes later they couldn't verify my insurance and that they are a specialist and my insurance copay would be higher which is odd I've been to several other urgent care places and never paid more then standard copay the girl at the desk just seemed like she didn't want to be bothered cause it was close to closing time definitely would not recommend.

Does anyone even read reviews, how does AFC Urgent Care in Lyndhurst even have any positive reviews? So many posts regarding their billing, here is a funny. I received a bill in the mail for 220 USD, funny thing is they had seen me nearly a year after the date of service they claim they completed and mentioned nothing to me about not receiving payment yet I am stuck with a 220 bill even after receiving additional service. Do yourself a favor, there may be may positive reviews and everyone's experience may be different but clearly there are many reviews regarding similar instances, instead of reaching out to their clients regarding non payment (which I did pay, and do pay all of my bills) AFC in Lyndhurst chooses to send those accounts to Savit Collection Agency. I had to go back and edit this, a business that chooses to send their customers accounts to a collection agency with out contacting their customers is a failed business with incompetent staff from the very bottom to the helm. I feel fully justified leaving one star and if possible they'd get zero stars, as for the staff, I guess they're at an equivalent level in their life to represent such a company, big thumbs down, 220 usd check in the mail and no amount will ever be enough to resolve the sense lacked @ AFC, on to posting more negative stars on Savit Collection Agency!

Plenty of free parking. The waiting area was large, comfortable & well-lighted. They took patients who'd booked in advance first, regardless of malady. I was neither given paperwork afterward nor asked to provide payment. Once inside, it seemed they'd marked me down as having left, when I had certainly not, which was weird. But the doctor seems very experienced & trustworthy, so I'll recommend/return here. Similar experience when I brought my husband & mother here in summer 2015. Thanks for an overall good visit ! Taking my meds now...

I went here during the week and the doctors and nurses were awesome! Really took their time trying to figure out what was wrong! I had the beginning stages of bronchitis..This morning I went back because the left side of my face and jaw were numb..the nurse was not friendly at all and the doctor really had no clue! I explained to him what was wrong that I thought I had a sinus infection and he barely did anything to check..he thought I had a dental issue and I explained to him I just had a thorough cleaning a few weeks ago...he prescribed antibiotics which I will not take because he basically did it to shut me up! I was really upset when I left there..I really thought I would have the same treatment like I did during the week!! This one Dr who I was hoping would not be there,was and did not treat what was wrong! Going to my primary now!!!!

I would not waste my time again at this facility. I have been waiting over two days to get the proper paperwork to process for insurance and am met constantly with a nasty front desk; not to mention the billing dept. that appears to be sending out the incorrect info. I could not have been more specific about the paperwork I needed. I know mistakes happen, I am in no way free of them myself, but the attitude at the front desk.....NO...nobody is that good that they can talk to people as if they're dirt on a shoe.

I wish 0 stars was allowed! My wife went to this place on pain with a first and second degree burns from hot water at 7:20PM. The close at 8PM. She was told they couldn’t see her because the doctor had a “emergency”. But another lady was signing in. She went back at 8:12pm because our pharmacy is next to it and there they were! So I think because it was 7:20pm they didn’t want to see my wife! Thanks God for City Md, she got there at 7:40PM (they also close at 8pm) and she was thankful to be seen there!

I didn't feel well. I found them online, reserved my time and received text messages when I should go. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was called in to see the Dr within minutes of checking in. Everyone from the receptionist to the medical assistant/nurse to the Dr were very friendly, pleasant and best of all knowledgeable. It was very clean and I would absolutely recommend it.

This place is horrible and they should close it down or find new doctors. I have been to this place 3 times and never again. I took my 5 year old daughter her with a scrape due to a little girl pushing her in the park. The doctor was so rude because she was crying. Told us that she wasn't a baby and needed to stop or take her somewhere else. I took my son with a lower stomach pain and told me to take him to the ER. He couldn't do anything about it. Appendix. Go to the Florham park urgent care and they even have a surgical room.

After being up all night with debilitating pain, I came to them the minute they opened. Even though I was there at the crack of dawn they took me right away. They were calm professional, honest, listened to all my symptoms and gave me wonderful treatment. Considering I was only there because the other clinic in town misdiagnosed my double outer and middle ear infection as soley an inner ear infection, and sent me home without drops or painkillers the day before. I was increadibly grateful. They even recommended a specialist if my condition worsened. I am only going here for treatment from now on. Completely sold on these people. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

My Doctors office was closing for 2 days. I had a swollen, throbbing finger that needed to be looked at so I decided to google Urgent Care centers in my area. I am so glad I found this facility. Everyone was very organized, efficient and friendly and I found the Doctor to be very knowledgeable. No appointment was needed and even though there were a few people ahead of me there was hardly a wait time at all. I would not hesitate to come back and I highly recommend this facility.

Was not happy with this place apparently if you visit and are sick and don't get better and do not return within 7 days you have to pay your visit fee again would have been nice to know that at the time of visit that I had to return within seven days in order to not pay for a second visit nice that you take advantage of people's wallet when they are sick great doing business with you.

Came in because of bad cough and larangitis type symptoms. Wait was quick. But the doctor and nurse only asked generic questions. And prescribed me antibiotics. They didn’t check for strep, they didn’t check for bronchitis. And when I asked what I had they rudely waved me off saying just take the prescribed antibiotics. I was in the room a total of 1 minute. And they didn’t even send in the prescription. Do not go here

This has been my go-to clinic but on Sunday 12-23-18, the young lady at the front desk had a horrible attitude and was very rude to me. She was fine with the other patients so I don’t understand why she geared her attitude toward me. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable so I left before I was finished filling out my daughters paperwork and my daughter and I were left untreated. I hope this company looks into this employee.

I was very happy at the service and quick turn around time with this Urgent Care. I was able to check in from my phone at home and had a very little wait time (about 20 mins) once I got to the office. The staff was pleasant and the doctor was very knowledgeable. They faxed over my prescription to the pharmacy quickly and was able to pick up my antibiotics on my way home. I would definitely recommend!

I took my daughter there due to a fall. We were seen quickly after some basic paperwork. We were seen by a medical assistant, physician, had x rays, splinted, and a radiologist's report within 60 minutes. (if we went to the ER, that probably would have taken HOURS). Everyone was courteous and very professional. The staff is all smiles, upbeat, and worked extra hard to make sure my daughter felt comfortable. The interior is spotless (i asked and was told that they built it around a year ago). If i ever need a medi-center again, I will come back. I highly recommend them.

Went in today, of course not feeling my best, and I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Went as a walk in at weeks-end. Reception area clean and bright, contemporary. Welcoming staff pleasant, efficient and helpful. Wait time appropriate to patient volume. Helpful option exists to reserve time online in queue. But as with first and follow-up appts wait time not an issue. Clinical areas clean, uncluttered, and well maintained. Nurses and assistants very pleasant and understanding, very personable. Doctor was the bomb, proficient and gentle (thank you) as well as respectful of myself and his colleagues. TX thorough. Great alternative to ER. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I fell and screwed up my right knee to where I could not walk. Urgent Care provided a wheel chair to get me from the car to their facility. They xrayed it, gave me crutches & showed me how to use them and called in a prescription to reduce the pain & swelling. The staff was friendly ands helpful in spite of my crankiness due to the pain. They also provided a list of orthopedic specialists one of which I went to who was excellent. All that and during the holidays! Getting hurt right before Christmas is a bummer, but Urgent Care really helped get me back on my feet (literally). Now, if they could only finish that dreaded last-minute shopping! :-)

The doctor and staff on call at the AFC were grossly negligent. I came into the facility with respiratory distress from asthma and I was fist left to wait in the waiting room. Then I was escorted into a exam room given one breathing treatment and left to wait for one hour. All while I can hear the laughing and unprofessional behavior occurring by the staff outside my door. Not once did anyone take my situation with any seriousness. When the doctor finally did come in, he felt it necessary to begin berating me me about what I been doing about my asthma for the last 25 years rather than deal with urgent situation at hand. Again no sense of urgency or concern for my obvious distress. When he finally did exam me he decided that he wasn't going to deal with it and he was sending me to the emergency room. This man should not be a caregiver of any kind! Completely appalled. I have visited this facility many times in the past and I have always had a positive experience until last night. I suggest that he undergo additional training for emergency protocols or this facility will surely have a tragedy on its hands.

I begin feeling better as soon as I met the very well spoken" Lanita" at the front desk as she handed me one piece of paper with four highlighted areas to fill in. A beautiful waiting area with new chairs was next to comfort my ailment. Before I knew it I met "Amanda" who called me into the exam room to discuss my history and physical. Just from that conversation alone I felt cured! I actually thought Amanda was the doctor and this was her way of healing. After an overall experience time that was shorter than getting my car washed, I ended up with some antibiotics just in case my symptoms recurred after I left, and picked up the prescription at shop right across the parking lot. This place was so wonderful I would love to stop in again just to visit.

I visited this location in Lyndhurst on Thanksgiving morning. I had heard they had abbreviated hours due to the holiday. I was in and out with an RX in hand because my pharmacy was not open. Normally they send RX'es electronically but with it being a major holiday they said it would be safer if I took an actual RX. The entire staff was fabulous including the doctor who quickly diagnosed me and sent me on my way. I will certainly be back again. REMEMBER TO SIGN UP ONLINE BEFORE YOU GO AND YOU CAN SKIP THE LINE!
