Went in for a tooth extraction. The had reassured me that they’d be able to pull the tooth and that oral surgery would not be required. Dr Rymer poked inside of bad tooth until she found the most tender spot, like she was awaiting my pain reaction to know where she needed to stick, and she repeatedly attempted to numb it unsuccessfully. Meanwhile, her assistant was letting me choke and gag on my spit and blood while she drummed on my chest, as if I were her desk, along to the music she was playing on her phone. When I asked her to stop, she kind of scoffed and acted offended. It was immensely painful and while I cried this woman (the assistant) talked to me in baby voice, “oh it’s gonna be alwight. It’s awmost over. That bad tooth!” They left me in the room, crying, without offering a tissue or anything. They did not go over aftercare for the one tooth they were able to pull, and when I went back in to ask if I could speak to someone about the aftercare, I was handed a piece of paper (eat soft food, no smoking, no sucking) but was denied an opportunity to speak with anyone. This is hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at ANY place of business, let alone someone I’m supposed to trust with anything regarding my health! I left in significantly more pain than I had arrived in, and was just so frustrated and tense by the time I left. I strangely felt dirty and taken advantage of. PLEASE ADDRESS YOUR STAFF ABOUT PROFESSIONALISM. Dr Rymer was wonderful and did her best. Her assistant botched my entire experience there. This was my first visit after the initial exam and X-ray, and I was honestly really excited for the journey I was about to take with you all to get my smile back. I have cried for that smile I dream of. I will have to trust someone else with my dental care plan.

Aspen is a great place to go. They have a Great staff who cares for their patients. They listen to your concerns and solves those concerns quick. They make sure you're in good hands at all times. They're there for you as a person and not just a patient. I recommend if your having ANY teeth work done this is the place to go! Great atmosphere and GREAT people

Great and thorough exam and nice staff however it was unfortunate they require 60% cash deposit to schedule my fillings weeks in advance. I am Willing to pay in full the day of my filling, but definitely not forking out thousands of dollars weeks prior just to improve corporate cash flow statements!

Every time I've come to Aspen, they've been nothing but kind and welcoming. My teeth are very poor but I've never once had a condescending interaction with any of the many doctors and staff I've interacted with. I was not once scolded like a child nor laughed at. They are extremely professional and pleasant. DMD Senjalia had performed two extractions on some troubled teeth and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Most of the staff is young and all of them are sociable and approachable. If you're afraid of the dentist, come here. They'll change your entire perspective on what it's like to go to the dentist. I've never left feeling worse than when I went in. Great place.

It's a scam. They make money by doing extractions and root canals. I went in for a simple cavity; they said I needed a root canal. I said no and so they said they could only do the cavity fill (which cost $11.00 after insurance) if I get the special cleaning (which cost $4000 after insurance). Side note: as I was waiting in the lobby before the appointment, three patients were taken back and all three were told they needed an extraction. Only half walls are up so you can hear everything going on in the back. Went to second opinion dentist and got a simply cavity filled.

I highly recommend Aspen dental, I was able to get my wisdom teeth removed the same day of my first visit since there was an opening available, every one was incredibly nice and I felt very comfortable even though I have pretty bad anxiety with dentists. Fair professional assessment of my dental needs. Would give 5 stars if they offered better accessibility to financing for emergencies, as is now they only offer a very limited circle of lenders, and if one declines they all do the same. End result is being told to go away until I can pay up front, even with a life threatening emergency.

Best experience I have had at any dental office. Lanie welcomed me so nicely when I walked in the door and was sympathetic through the process of x rays being that I am very scared of the dentist. Dr. Omar was also very kind and knowledgeable. He was very straight forward with my treatment plan and did not beat around the bush with what was needed. Lastly, Ciara was very helpful with the finance portion of my treatment plan being that I do not have insurance. Would recommend 10/10.

Not very thorough - they actually told my wife that she was brushing too hard, when actually she had cavities that needed to be filled. Probably could have avoided a root canal too, if they had actually looked and done something about it! Oh well, lost business and bad reputation gained.

READ WHOLE REVIEW FOR YOUR OWN GOOD...Met with Dr. Graham, very impressed. Start my work on 7-13-16. He did great, but down hill from there...Lots of problems. Billed my insurance & credit card for services not rendered yet, can't get it back after 2 yrs of trying..They changed Drs 3 times during my process.Still no dentures & money not refunded. Billed my care credit. Paying a bill to keep from killing my credit!!! STAY AWAY...

On Saturday went in for a New patient exam, the whole staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The DA was helpful and took the x-rays quickly and gently. The Hygienist worked quickly and after explained what was wrong and ensured i understood what was needed. The Doctor also worked quickly and explained what was wrong and showed my xrays to me as she went over them. Over all very good staff and very friendly.

I will never ever recommend anyone to do business with this place. Absolutely horrible. I sat with my husband for 3+ hours to have a tooth pulled. After being over charged for a mouthwash that you can get at the pharmacy they didn’t have it in stock. I asked for a prescription so that it could be filled that night, I was told we don’t do that. But the dr gave me one. So I payed twice for medicine. We were told that my husband had a deductible of one amount and charged more. In order to charge my credit card the amount had to be over $200. Really !?!! Oh and you can’t get a refund unless it’s the full amount. This is the most money hungry place ever. I wish I had read the other reviews and talked to others before going here. I havent heard anything good about this place. I understand hippa laws but you don’t mind to take my money or charge my card but you can’t tell me why you charged my card more money bc it’s for my husband. Worst experience ever. The dentist himself was great but the office manager was horrible. I asked questions and she couldn’t even look at me when answering. I’m calling the credit card company and letting them know all about this as well. Do not go to this place!!!!

I have had a few issues with this office. They are AWFUL!!!!!! They are the McDonalds of dentistry . BEWARE ! They ruined my teeth , think twice before going here! They are not the cheapest place to go either I have found a new dentist who is very comfortable and personable and who is a perfectionist :) Not rushed and making careless mistakes like this office. I wish someone would have told me to STAY AWAY it would have saved me alot of money and my smile!

The office staff made a mistake 4 months ago by billing my girlfriend's insurance instead of mine. It cost me almost $800 to get my work done, which should have been covered by my insurance. After 3 months of trying to get it corrected, and another 2 mistakes by their office team, my insurance paid for the $800 I was billed - 2 weeks ago. Aspen still can't see the payments, and my money still hasn't been reimbursed. If your choice is pulling your own teeth out or going here, pull your own teeth out. Mediocre work, and completely incompetent office staff.

As a person with social anxiety, it means a great deal to me when I can walk into the dentist's office and be treated warmly and respectfully throughout my entire visit. Aspen Dental in Frankfort has been a lifesaver for me! When I first came to them two years ago, I was terrified of having dental work done after a traumatic experience with another dentist, but the staff here is understanding, patient and helped me overcome my anxiety. The tooth sensitivity that has plagued me most of my adult life is also gone thanks to their help and a few lifestyle changes on my part. I now look foward to my routine exams and cleanings knowing that they will be quick and painless!

Very disappointed! I needed my upper dentures repaired so I called and made an appointment with the understanding they would repair it the same day. I was very pleased. I arrived at the scheduled time and was escorted back to a room where I was told that the lab tech said “no problem!” I thought they would fix it while I was getting an exam and X-rays which I did not ask for. But after 45 minutes I was told the lab tech went home and I could come back at 8 am. The next morning I received a message my appointment was at 9 am. Upon arrival I was escorted into a room and told I would be getting my impressions. I explained again I Was there for the repair of my dentures. After a 45 minute wait the tech brought in my upper dentures accompanied by someone else’s lower dentures. I only have uppers! To say the least it was not the most impressive experience!!!

Aspen dental is full of kind people. They got me an appointment the same day I called and while the wait was a little long it was warranted with them squeezing me into their tight schedule so close to closing time. In the follow days they have called to see how I am feeling and even worked with me on getting me a new prescription sent to my pharmacy because I was allergic to the other one. They went beyond what I was expecting from a dental practice to just meet my needs. Though it is costly the expierence itself was nice.

I started out with a fairly pleasant experience and even had a tooth pulled once. I had staff give me what seemed to be good assistance and proper billing. That was to start but then something went horribly down hill. I have grown extremely suspicious that they are trying to rip people off. I have had the same insurance since i started but all of a sudden they started claiming it wasn't covering services as shown in their computer. Prices all of a sudden started doubling for procedures covered the year before. When I would personally call my insurance i would get a different story. Another huge problem i had was what seemed like imaginary cavities popping up for my daughter and a push for "special" cleaning at, of course, a higher price. My daughter had a clean bill of health, other than a couple surface cavities, then after missing a cleaning they claimed she had multiple cavities and needed the more intense cleaning. I asked how this could be but no clear explination except that the couple of surface cavities must have went down in the teeth. Keep in mind these were clearly said to be now below surface wth soft areas per their dental tool. My daughter has disabilities so I had to wait to get into a place that could sedate her under her other insurance without their $600 sedation charge. Well surprise, surprise, when she went to this other place guess what...NO cavities! She still had remaining sealant residue and absolutely no areas soft or compromised! Fastforward and come to the next scheduled cleaning and guess what, they state no insurance coverage. I still have the same insurance! I don't know what is going on but I really suspect someone there is dipping in the money bag. By the way i've had specialty work with a different provider since my last visit and my insurance paid a part of it! I will be switching my entire family to another dentist!

Do not under any circumstances ever ever go here. The paperwork they have you sign at the beginning for free x-ray’s locks you in once they have your credit card information. They charge if you don’t continue going there after the initial appointment. They then charged sent me a bill in the mail after I was told there was no charge . If I could give them any less stars I would. It’s a crooked business.

Now, in Jan 2018, I have had 8 teeth removed by Dr. Wymer and I have to tell you she is Excellent!!!! She was great at numbing and the pulling and I had the best dental experience ever. Her assistant DeeDee was so sweet and soothing and I appreciated it very much. Trish helped me at all my appointments and she is also so sweet and caring. Kim at the desk is very friendly. I highly recommend anyone needing to see a dentist to go to Aspen. They are just wonderful!

I had a place under my parcel plate that was rubbing on my gum ,the dentist said it was a bone that needed to be shaved off ,without a X-ray, they made a appointment and told me it would be over $600 to fix it .Guess what I left out my parcel plate and adjusted it a bit , my gum heal and i saved over $600 dollars .Thank the Lord for giving me the ability to know what is right and what is wrong in life.They was willing to quote me a price ,not knowing what was wrong . That leads me to believe,would they had shaved the bone not needing it to collect $600

I went in for just a cleaning. And the whole time I had to keep pushing the cleaners arm away because it hurt so bad. I repeatedly told her I have very sensitive gums but she continued to do it. It's been almost 3 hours since my appointment and my whole mouth feels like a bruise. They have no respect for sensitive customers and they're not professional. They did an awful job even putting on the flouride or whatever. I'm NEVER going there again!

Be careful... You go into get your teeth checked up/cleaned and then they will add additional services (like extra xrays) that ARE NOT covered by your insurance. Then you get a fat bill in the mail. To make things worse, we were clear that we only wanted what was covered by insurance. This was a violation of trust and they are, in my opinion, not worthy of your trust or your business. I will also note that my insurance has always been adequate for exams and cleaning at my prior dentists with no additional costs. I intend to dispute these charges... I will update once I learn more. These guys can see you quickly... However, my perspective is that this shameful/scam-ish behavior that proves you are better off waiting for a dentist you can trust. --- As far as the cleaning experience went, the dental hygienist was very a nice lady but very very rough... This was definitely tough love to say the least. She was very thorough but gentile she was not... The roughest cleaning that I or my family has ever experienced to the point where we were considering going elsewhere even before the bill came in the mail.

Daughter lost filling...after making appointment to fix problem they canceled appointment three times and needed to reschedule and work it around her work schedule..finally gets in ...appointment was at 10am and it is now after 12 and she still isn't done yet. Over two hours to put a filling back in....pitiful

I have not to been to the dentist in years and if you were like me, the longer you go the harder it is to get back in. I struggled between using the excuses of it will cost too much and I was just too embarrassed of my nasty fangs. Sure, if you do not have insurance they will use their Dentalfirst financing, not explain everytihng and take your money that you do not even have! Sure they are nice! Beware folks with no insurance, they will put you in the poor house! I wouldnt even give them one star, but had to in order to post review. How can these people sleep at night? I had very poor service at this office . I was called back had my xrays done , after that it went downhill. The assistant checked my teeth and the dentist didn't come in . My appt was at 2 at 3 I went to the desk and asked if the dentist had forgot, I'm sorry the dentist will be in at 3:30 I walked out. The staff were very unprofessional laughing and having a good time while ignoring the patients. Another lady was asking about her previous bill some said they will be with you shortly two different times she also walked out.

Also, if you're not looking to take out a $5000 loan just to have your teeth cleaned up, dont go here. Oh, and they require 60% down. I'll stick with my hometown dentist who charges a fraction of these prices and also doesnt see necessary to do all that this place suggested to be done to my teeth. This place is amazing place when I got there I got treated very nice. They help you with anything that you need. When I got called back they told me every step of what they were going to do to me. They let me take my x-rays with no charge at all. They explain all the money options to pay in statement. I would tell all my friends to go there. Aspen Dental is a great place to get your teeth work on. Thats why I give them a five star rating!! If I could afford it I would go there in a heart beat!!

Despite what I was told more than twice on the phone when scheduling my daughter’s appointment, THIS IS NOT A PRACTICE THAT CARES FOR CHILDREN. I specifically asked if my daughter, who is 4, would be acceptable age-wise and was informed by more than one scheduler that yes, Aspen does pediatric dentistry. So essentially they lied to get us in the door. If I could rate them negatively I would. Once my daughter and I were there, it became glaringly obvious they do NOT treat children. The bite plates they attempted to use to get x-rays for my child were so big she couldn’t even close her mouth. So they then attempted to do a panoramic by having her stand on a very rickety, small step ladder. While the x-ray technician and hygienist were patient and fairly gentle with her, the dentist, Dr. ONela, was rude, impatient, man-handled her, and entered the room by announcing they don’t really see children there, and proceeded to inform me that she needed a surgical procedure to correct her gums (again, she’s FOUR). When I questioned if a child who still has all of her baby teeth really needed a surgical procedure that seemed more cosmetic he was arrogant and impatient, and left abruptly without saying goodbye. The hygienist explained again that they really don’t see children, and referred me to a pediatric dentist nearby who is out of our insurance network. I will never return to Aspen Dental, and neither will anyone I know. I was appalled at how rudely the office staff spoke to people over the phone as I waited almost 20 minutes to be checked out. I will be searching again to find a pediatric dentist in network, and even if I have to drive an hour, it will be worth it to never have to step foot in an Aspen Dental again.

Can you really rate a dentist 5 stars? This dentist, Dr. Krista Johnson, you can absolutely do just that! she is an incredibly personable dentist, she takes the time to talk to you as though she cares, in which, I’m pretty sure she really does care about your wellbeing. The staff was very professional even though they were struggling with a brand-new computer program and some minor staffing challenges, that didn’t interfere with the care I received. I would certainly recommend Dr. Krista Johnson to anyone who needs to see a dentist for any reason: Cleaning, repair, extraction or even dentures. I had even expressed to her that I didn’t really trust Aspen Dental because I’ve never been a fan of large corporate dentist offices, I’ve always gone to hometown dentists, but Dr. Johnson made me a believer in Aspen (so much so, that my wife had made the switch from her dentist and scheduled an appointment at Aspen, it’s my hope that she’ll get to see Dr. Johnson as well) if I had anything negative to say, I would say it about a hygienist, I wasn’t impressed with her brashness towards me, I understand that is just some peoples demeanor, however, when you’re in a customer service field, you should be slightly more friendly than that. Overall, an amazing dentist!

I've never had such a calming anxiety- reducing dental appointment. The entire staff took time to listen to me as a person, understand my needs, wants, & financial situation in regards to my mouth. Dr Buckley understood my medical issues and how they are directly related to my mouth health. He took time to listen and carefully explain his prognosis and treatment plan. He backed up all of his statements with research. Most importantly he treated me with dignity and respect. I greatly appreciated the financing options and the fact that my treatment plan was literally half the price of plans other dentists had recommended. So... I had to make an emergency visit to a dentist. Its only been about 6+ years. I called all over town (even called those listed as "in network") no one said they would take my insurance. Then I called Aspen. They said they would assess what I needed for free, offered a discount and scheduled my appointment. Everyone at the office was so nice, especially Rachel who took the x-rays. The doctor was pleasant and informative. I am hopeful to have my issue resolved shortly. Thank you for your kindness!!

If I could rate ZERO I would!!! Went in for a tooth extraction and got it extracted. Was told one of my bottom teeth was rotting and it should be removed and get a lower partial. Already missing 2 lower back teeth, so decided to have the tooth removed and get the lower partial. Had to make an advance payment of $740.36 towards the services. Scheduled that extraction and to get my lower partial for their last with hours for Saturday March 24,2018 (no more weekends being open) Got a call and voicemail there was some water damage at the office and would have to reschedule my appointment. Finally after numerous attempts to get it scheduled was able to get in on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 9:00am. Got there had to make another advance payment of $238.94. Now remember they have NOT billed my insurance anything at all! Got brought back and had to wait almost 45 minutes for the dentist. Finally came in, extracted my tooth, immediately put a lower partial in my mouth. I asked her to please look at the extraction site of my previous extraction to make sure it was healing okay because I was still having some pain, she took a quick look said it was fine. She and other members of the office were in more of a hurry to make it to a job fair, then to make sure you take the time to explain anything to your patient and make sure everything is healing. spent the entire weekend in major pain!! I could barely get the lower partial out of my mouth to clean it and getting it back in was worse than having tooth pain. I thought I was going to go through the roof from the pain when putting the partial back into my mouth. Monday April 9, 2018 at 7:25am called the dental office to get into see the dentist. Girl named Kristi answered the phone I explained to her the pain I was in and she asked to put me on hold to talk with the doctor, female came back on the phone (I assumed it was Kristi) and said the soonest they could get me in was Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 4:00pm. I made the appointment went home and took more ibuprofen and iced my mouth. I guess I wasn’t as important of a patient now that they had $979.30 of my money. Got into the dentist office at 3:45pm, signed in, and waited. The “receptionist” if that’s what you can call her, finally asked me what I needed I said I signed in and I have an appointment at 4:00pm. She looked at her computer screen and said I don’t have an appointment for you. I explained to her how I had called the day before spoke with Kristi told her what was going on she got back on the phone and told me they could see me Tuesday at 4:00pm. She said just a minute went into the back came back out and said “they do not have me at for an appointment but if I would like to wait the doctor might be able to get me in” yes I lost it! I told her that was not acceptable and attempted to explain to her the pain I was in from the partial in my mouth. Another employee I don’t know or maybe a biller don’t know her name, asked what the problem was I then said the problem is this I took the lower partial out of my mouth trying not to cry from all the pain that even taking it out caused said my mouth is full of sores I cannot eat anything drink anything I can’t sleep because of all the pain. I looked at them both and said here is your partial back keep it refund my money every penny!What can you do to make my experience better??? refund my $979.30 and submit an adjusted correct dental claim to my insurance refunding them back for services not rendered!! I’m sure you know how that goes you file an XX8 Type of bill (or whatever type you use for dental cancel claims) to my insurance canceling out the fraudulent charges and then re-submitting a corrected claim for ONLY the services rendered!! Especially since you claim to have a 90 day moneyback guarantee on your dentures and I only had my lower partial for four days.

I switched practices for convenience and insurance issues. My experience was less than desirable. All personnel were professional but very unassuming, I felt like I was part of an assembly line at a manufacturing plant. I spent an hour and a half inside their office, came away with a check up and no cleaning, you'll have to make another appointment for that. My previous dental check ups always included a cleaning in much less time and was definitely more of a personal as well as professional level. I have another appointment for that cleaning we'll see how long that will take.

I have been to a big in-and-out type dental place before and had horrible service. I was hesitant about coming here for my dental needs because of that, but I was certainly surprised. The staff here has been very friendly and understanding. They are more than knowledgeable about how to handle aftercare and things to do to help with pain and/or discomfort. I went in to have some teeth pulled and they were very friendly, making sure that I was doing fine the entire time and that I didn't feel any pain. It was done very quickly as well. They were also able to get me in much sooner than my regular dentist which was a big bonus since it was an emergency that my tooth broke from eating something. I would definitely recommend the ontario office to anyone.

Unfortunately, only 5 stars are available but Dr. Alkhader and his wonderful, friendly and professional team deserve 10 stars. I highly recommend them to all my friends. Since over a year I am a patient at Aspen Dental, West Bend. The staff is virtually bending over backwards, to do things right and accommodate you. I had all my teeth removed and got a full denture. Needless to say, it looks very realistic and beautiful and I receive many compliments from my friends and acquaintances. Twice a year the full denture has to be cleaned and a few minor adjustments had been done in the past without any extra charge. It is always a pleasure to have an appointment there and feels like having a caring family around you. Everybody is so nice, professional and last but not least, we always have a good laugh together. Worst experience ever. On my fist exam, they had me waiting 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment to get xrays done and then they had me wait another hour to see the dentist who literally took 5 minutes to examine my mouth. I then needed to schedule an appointment for a cleaning and a cavity fill and they called me back 3 times to reschedule it because the receptionist or whomever kept messing up time slots. 2 months later on the 3rd rescheduled time they gave me, I came in and they said that my appointment wasn't until next week when the receptionist clearly told me it was that day. This whole time the staff was extremely rude and acted like they didn't know what they were doing. The girls behind the desk are very snotty and are not apologetic at all for messing up my appointments. Oh and on top of everything, I keep getting a bill from them for the exam even though they claim that your 1st exam is free. I've called them twice already to get it taken care of and they keep saying they'll do it but it's been months and I'm still getting the bill... They seriously need to get it together

I was in a little over a year ago for the first time and had an evaluation done and had a treatment plan set up around June 2017. Before I could have any work done they needed to do two cleanings, the first cleaning went well and I set up an appointment to have the other one done around two weeks later. Sometime in this time frame I had the one root canal done that needed to be done. I ended up needing to reschedule the second cleaning because of work and they rescheduled it for January 2018 over 6 months later. I was a little confused as to why this was scheduled so much later. Because, I knew I needed to have work done on my teeth as soon as possible because they were only going to get worse. By the time January rolled around I went in for my second cleaning and I happened to pick up insurance through my new job. I had the cleaning done and they seemed to have a problem with my insurance and said they would call when they figured it out and we would set up another appointment then. I waited and never did receive a call, so I called probably four months later. They had not done anything with my insurance and didn’t have any intentions of setting up an appointment it seemed like. They lady said she would get right on it and call me back that same day (Surprise, Surprise, no call). I called back 3 days later and they lady said “oh yeah we got that figured out, let’s set you an appointment”. I went in for my appointment and they did a reevaluation and it turned out I needed another Root Canal. So, that ended up costing me 1,400 dollars, over 1,000 more than it would have if they had fixed my tooth when they were supposed to. On top of that, the Endodontist informed me that the one next to it would need a Root Canal also. Another 1,400 dollars that could have been a lot less had they fixed it when they were supposed to. The customer service and organization of the Fargo Aspen Dental is unbelievably atrocious and I’m sure I’m not the only one that has caught the short end of the stick because of it. I will be letting them finish my crown work on this tooth only because it is already started. But, after this I will be taking my business somewhere else because it seems to me that Aspen Dental will end up costing double what anywhere else will.

Customer service was not best in my first visit. Called for appt for teeth cleaning. Was new patient. Told them appt couldn't be before certain date. Was told had to come in for a consult then they would set up appt. Text me day before to remind me of appt. Told to come 15 min. early. When I got there sign in door said were out & back by certain time. No call or text telling me this ahead of time. When I got there 3 different people told me they could clean my teeth that day. Had to tell each one that appt had to be after a certain date because of my insurance. Also, told them could request my dental records from prior dentist & they would send down right away. Was told they do not take records from prior dentist as could not incorporate into their records, so my insurance ended up paying for all new Xrays. Had never heard of such a thiing. All my other medical doctored requested my records before they would see me.Decided to give them another try so made appt to for cleaning. Went in for cleaning & they told me owed $63. Now my insurance pays 100% for 2 cleanings a yr. Aspen tacked on charges for 2 procedures that they did not discuss with me beforehand or give me option to do it not, which I feel was not professional. Did not agree to procedures, but front desk could not remove charges, had to be done by hygienist. Am seriously considering changing dentists now.

Don't plan on going back to aspen! they are not any cheaper than my other dentest. they want to take too many x-rays. the cleaning was poor to start with, until I told her what my regular dentest cleaner did. Wonderful people and a GREAT experience.I had an extraction done by Dr. G in Sioux Falls, SD at the East side location. I was very apprehensive because I suffer from TMD. I was afraid of the pain that I would be in during and after. Not only did he reassure me that he will try to be quick, but said that if I needed a break to let him know My first appointment he went over his plan and I got some antibiotics then scheduled the extraction. The whole thing took about 45 minutes. Probably would've been sooner but it took me awhile to numb up. He put on some music..which was really nice atmosphere, and then set to work. Could feel a little bit of pressure as he was working on loosening it. Then he went in to pull it. I started freaking out a bit and was trying to say wait....he said I'm pulling it out right now. I got nervous for nothing!!! The whole extraction took maybe 5 minutes. Told Dr. G that he was my new dentist!!

I went in to fix what previous dentist had done but they said to fix was going to cost about 15,000 which I do not have cause I’m am just a school bus driver, so I went with the 3,000 plan cause I trusted them and boy was I wrong! My bite doesn’t even touch but I can’t even eat cause they have my top biters so small they can’t even touch my bottom bitters on the inside. This place is a complete joke and should be sued! They didn’t fix my smile they made me not want to smile! Never go here cause if I would have read the reviews I’d never settled for here!!!

I've been a past owner of two Hair Salons, I know about sanitation plus. I went to Aspen Dental yesterday because I needed to find a new Dentist,my Dentist retired,and I need two extractions. My first impression was not good,the rug beneath the reception desk was ruffled up filled with dirt. The ladies room was dirty and the toilet paper was on the floor!! After exrays,the girl took what appeared to be a sanitary wipe,but it was fluffy dry,and lightly wipes the thing that was in my mouth and rehangs for the next person???? OMG,I hope I didn't catch some bacterial Virus,HIV,whatever.. she basically threw the metal cape in the corner all crumpled up. Next I'm brought to a room that reminded me of a storage room,but as I'm being taken to this room area I notice trash here and there,bloody cotton things, colored rubber gloves etc heaving out of the tops of them!!!! I was seated in a dental chair but that was all that was in the room besides this Big black plastic TOOL BOX???. I asked her what that was for,she said oh that's what we use for ROUTE CANALS, HELLOOOOOOOOO, I'M HERE FOR TWO EXTRACTIONS!! Next a young girl, actually no offense,but they all were very young,came into the room wearing a light that looked like an octopus on her head,she said she was checking about cleaning my teeth..I told her you can skip that, I'm not here for that.i was standing at that point,I looked on the other side of the petition and this young girl working on a older woman is running her hands through her hair???? I said, sorry,not today..If I had been an Inspector,I would have shut them down PERMANENTLY! Please don't answer Aspen Dental, there's NOTHING REALLY YOU COULD SAY,but if I contacted a disease from your practice, you'll be hearing from my Attorney.

They are scammers. They'd tell you that they are doing basic cleaning which should be covered by your insurance, and you will end up getting a huge bill (For having a special cleaning therapy). Save your time, and money.

I had my teeth cleaned today. The hygienist was thorough. The staff were friendly. But at the end of the cleaning, I was given a fluoride concoction to gargle and spit. I figured it was part of the cleaning and did as asked. When I finished, I was taken to one of the desks near the front where the office manager told me I owed $43 and asked how I'd like to pay. I was confused and shocked, and asked "isn't this covered by my insurance?" She said yes, except the fluoride treatment at the end. That was $43. And my insurance wouldn't cover it because it was an additional thing to the cleaning. It soured my experience there. For one, Aspen claims to have "no surprices" like hidden costs and fees. Yet here I was, forced to pay a fee of $43 for swishing a fluoride varnish (as my bill stated) for 15 seconds when it's not even that necessary. There's fluoride in the water and I haven't had cavities since I was 8. If I had been told up front that it would cost that much and was optional and not covered by insurance, I wouldn't have partaken in it.

From walking in the door to leaving, the staff was very professional and efficient. The office manager is very involved with every step making sure each patient is comfortable and taken care of. From signing in to checking out. I was really impressed with the initial work done and how fast they can schedule me to start correcting my dental issues! It was a terrible terrible experience. My husband was told he had Periodontal disease and gingivitis and he was losing bone in my jaw. He was told that he would have to do an antibiotic treatment and that it would cost $500 just to clean his teeth. He asked again just to have the chip tooth Repaired and they said no they wouldn't do it until he got the antibiotic treatment done. He was told they would not schedule any more appointments for him unless he paid $500 up front. So my husband paid this but then he went to Another dentist to get a second opinion. The Dentist told him he did not have Periodontal Disease, gingivitis and he was not losing Bone in his jaw. The dentist told him he could fix his chipped tooth for $600. Aspen dental is Running a scam on people in our opinion. Everybody that walks through their door seems to have Periodontal disease. They were rude they pressured My husband and scared him Into believing that he was having a major problem in his mouth when he wasn't. Do not go to Aspen dental or you too will have some kind of disease in your mouth that will cost you thousands of dollars. In the end my husband left their believing he would have to pay $5000 just to fix the problems in his mouth which is not true. They also pressured him into making him believe that he should purchase a $100 tooth brush. This is a scam in the worst way when you make people believe that something bad's going to happen to them. The other reviews speak for themselves also others have had the same problem. This is by far the worst dentist in Sioux Falls South Dakota. But if you wanna throw your money away and have procedures that you don't need then by all means theyll take your money. I have demanded a refund of the $500 they have still not paid that back weeks later. This is a legalized way for them to take money from poor people when they don't have it. The untruths and the pressure that they put on people leading them in a direction they don't need to is almost the same as organized crime but it's legal. They wouldn't even run our insurance until we paid the $500 up front. This place is the worst. These people should be shut down.

I finished my visit with Aspen Dental 2 days ago and I must say the staff there from the front office to the Doctor who saw me were just too friendly and kind. Something you rarely find in many places. The atmosphere is fun and happy that you forget your pain and aches. I love the fact that everyone ensures your well-being and make sure you get it. For a first-timer like me, I was so nervous but the assurance from staff calmed my nerves. The actual job went as scheduled and was done under the allocated time. I was really impressed. Terrible experience. Went in to get teeth cleaned and a sore tooth. I found myself caught up with the staff and their desire to get me in dentures. I did not get my teeth cleaned nor my tooth fixed. I have insurance but they still wanted me to pay over$265 for the tooth extraction. Never again and my fiance is spreading the word at Aurora, letting people know how awful the experience was. Oddly enough, many people I've spoken with validated my experience with not nice tales of their own.

From the first minute I walked in I was made to feel welcome. Everyone was so kind. My teeth are in pretty bad shape and I have been to dentist before that made me feel like a failure, but here no one judged me, all everyone wants to do is help me to get a beautiful smile!! I met so many people while I was there and I am terrible with names (everyone is awesome), but I spent more time with Meredith, she showed me the different types of dentures and explained the procedures and the cost. She was a miracle worker and got what I needed/wanted for under the amount I could spend (now I can also get glasses, wish they had a vision center!) I cannot begin to say how thankful I am for Aspen Dental. I cannot wait to have my smile back!!

This review is written on account of my mother, as she doesn't understand this "technology stuff" Appointment was at 4:00, got there at 3:45. Sat there for 30 minutes, and they call me up and say "Doctor can't see you today, we have to reschedule you". The day is April 11th, and her face has been hurting for weeks but she waited patiently for the next available appointment, as my father had gotten his dentures done here. "The next available appointment is May 11th" said the office worker. A month. That's just not right. The kicker is there were a bunch of people still waiting, who were going to be seen still. She said "they're all going to be seen, but we can't see you". Yes this is real. I swear. I wish it wasn't. The only person called up and told to reschedule was her. If it wasn't my own mother telling me this I wouldn't believe it. Whatever you read in this review, remember this- DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. Seriously, a month? Please, Aspen, if you're corporate office is reading this, have someone reach out. I'd love to tell them about the glorious way my parents have been treated at your offices.

Went in for cleaning and wisdom teeth removal. The cleaning went well, and the hygienist was incredibly nice and helpful. I gave two stars for her. Would’ve given 5 if not for the second part of the visit. My wisdom teeth removal was a nightmare. The dentist was late, and the nurse didn’t check my chart to see I was allergic to meds I was supposed to be taking. During the procedure, the nerve block didn’t work. My upper wisdom tooth came out easily, but the bottom was extremely difficult to remove. I could feel pretty much everything. The dentist tried several times with several tools, but the absolute worst pain came when she had the nurse pull my jaw to the left while she yanked my tooth to the right. Excruciating. I allowed it to continue because as a working mother, I don’t have time for a referral or different appointment date. Immediately after the ordeal, my jaw and extraction site were already immensely painful. I asked about stronger pain meds than Tylenol, and was told no. Later, my husband had to call to tell them I was in horrible pain, and they finally prescribed Tylenol 3. I honestly don’t know how the dentist could have my jaw pulled one way while yanking the other (knowing the block didn’t work) and not expect incredible pain. I was also not given an antibiotic. It’s day 4 since my teeth removal and my jaw and lower extraction site are STILL aching constantly. I’m planning to see another doctor tomorrow as I’m honestly afraid Aspen Dentist caused nerve damage. For the record, I had my other two wisdom teeth removed years ago, and the pain was NOTHING like this...during the procedure or after.

Horrible!! I will not give any stars. Aspen dental in Benton Harbor Michigan was the worst experience I've ever had. The dentist went to pull a bad tooth! Well was in the chair for over 4 hours with my mouth open and I suffer from TMJ. He broke the tooth off and after working on it for hours he had to refer me to an oral surgeon. We paid ahead of time and the dentist said there was no charge, but we did not get our money back. It was just credited toward another appointment. Really??? You think I would go back after that!!!

The Aspen dental company asked how my experience was yesterday. This is what I wrote. The secretaries are pleasant and efficient. The hygienist are pleasant and professional. I assumed the dentist is good at her job as is the insurance employee. The Dr. came in said her name to me. She went directly to my x-rays then went to check my teeth. As she left the room the Dr. said the insurance person (a lady) will take care of me. The insurance person told me what my problems are, printed out the report, told me what the cost is and asked me when I want to make the next appointment and how I was going to pay. I came in to your company because of insurance changes not because I wanted to leave my dentist of 25 years. Other than the tech. person asking my name they didn't ask who I am. The Dr. did not ask for my name, did not ask who I was as a person, did not explain what concerns she has for my teeth, dismissed me as a nobody and passed me on the assembly line to the insurance person. I asked the insurance person why she was explaining to me what issues I have and not the dentist. She became nervous and said she didn't know why. I didn't believe her. I came in to register and get my free check up. You have a management style that moved me through a system and did not treat me as a person. Your staff are professional on work but their bedside manners are not to my expectation. When I had to two separate blood clot episodes the staff and doctors treated my symptoms and cared for me as a human being. They knew I was a veteran, an adventurer, and a retired teacher and principal. Your staff does not have any idea who I am. I will be going back to my regular doctor and in fact saw them right after I left your company. They know me and my family besides knowing what I need for dental care. Goodbye.

Manners were good, friendly staff. Just didn't like that I was lied to about getting a prescription for antibiotics. Told them I didn't have insurance but was willing to pay and the financial lady said they will still call in the prescription. I waited 2 hours and went to pick it up. The pharmacy never got the prescription. Never heard from the place. I called aspen to figure it out they hung up on me. I just needed help and after learning I didn't have insurance they didn't care what pain I was in. Won't be my main place for dentistry services.

I'm here for banned from going to any Aspen Dental office. They sent the letter with regular mail and certified mail that I had to sign for. This was a surprisingly different visit to the dentist, then I have ever experienced. They are an extremely friendly staff, and have a focus on educating you about what they are doing and why. I have never been to another dental office that showed me my X-rays or had a Hygienist like Blake who had many tips and eye opening information for me, which was much better than, "just floss more". I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to any future visits to the dentist, but I feel like I'm in good hands with this team.

I had a cleaning and exam. To be honest, this did not come close to what I'm used to but the people were very nice, friendly, great people! Cleaning - not all surfaces of my teeth were covered with the "gritty paste", water was splashed all over my face and down my neck, hardly any plaque was removed and dental floss was not used at the end! The exam was fine but nothing was done to resolve the pain when I chew food. I was told I had to get a crown, which I cannot afford right now. The X-ray showed no cavity so they thought the tooth must be cracked. Apparently it wasn't visible in the X-rays taken.

Im not one to post reviews at all, but my visit to aspen dentel in ontario ohio was so bad, i had to write a review. The only good thing was the office staff. They all were very friendly, polite, and professional. As soon as i met the dentist, it all went south. He walked into the room, didn't look at or greet me, and looks at xrays. Finally, he walked over and asked why im there. I told him about my concerns, and he just sat the chair back and started the exam. Durring the exam, he scraped a certain spot, and i felt i should let him know what work as been done, and how fragile the area is. He just stands back and says i know what im doing. I try to continue speaking, and he continually interrupts me and says i know what im doing. I continue to state my concerns, and he throws his hands up, and says you dont need to come back here. I know i wont ever go back, and i strongly recomend you never go.

These guys are so much trouble. You might think you have an appointment, but they could just give it away. And despite the fact that you have to do multiple phone calls for every appointment, when you do get in they might just tell you they can't do what you scheduled. I took time off work to get a cleaning, a very simple procedure, and after making me wait thirty minutes they get me in and tell me they will do a check up but no cleaning. Can't do the check up THEN the cleaning, no, apparently one of the people I spoke to in order to schedule this procedure should have mentioned they wouldn't be able to do the thing I was trying to schedule.

I wish I could give negative stars. Don't come here. This place it dangerous. Not only was I not giving local anesthesia properly . (Three shots and still nothing.) While filling my prescription at Walmart near it, the woman at the corner said the same thing happened to her and two of co-workers as well. Not only did I go in to get a tooth pulled, after the swelling and bleeding stop I notice there were still bits of tooth in the hole. Nor was it stitch closed. Don't come here.

I have not gone to the one in West Bend but I have gone to an Aspen and I was going to schedule an appointment while in Wisconsin but after reading the reviews I do know now that my billing experience was not just my crappy luck. I went to one in South Carolina and they billed me up the wazoo for a toothbrush I never received and then told me I have some gum disease (which I found out later I don't!) then I had to give the front desk a 30min math lesson on how to add and subtract. I will be finding a different business that takes my insurance!

The one thing I did not like, they referred me to a specialist to review an old root canal for an opinion of action, of how the repair should be done I feel they are competent enough to make that decision. I’ve had nothing but problems since using this practice. Those handling the billing/estimates are incompetent. I then had an extraction which has turned into a painful fiasco, with three additional visits needed after. Meds promised to be called in that weren’t, overcharging, a front desk receptionist that is snapping her gum and blowing bubbles whiles she’s speaking. I’ll go out of network from here on out. If the front office is this horrible, I have no faith in the quality of care I’ve received behind the scenes.

0 stars if I could!! Absolutely the most ridiculous place I've ever tried to do business with. Went to have a cavity refilled that came out and my appointment was at 2:45. I left at 6:05 with not one thing done. Instead or repairing my tooth, the hygienist tried to sell me an oral cancer screening and an oral B electric toothbrush, then the doc came in and told me I had 4 other cavities and then replied you have to come back to get all of them done later. She handed me off to the office manager who then proceeded to tell me in order to get the work done I would have to pay my portion in full of $744 first. I went to another dentist the very next after noon. He told me I had no other cavities and repaired the other one. Paid my $50 deductible and left owing my portion of $33. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL. THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO THE BANK! Count on it!

They lie about their prices to get you in the door. Worse place ever, I called this dental office and asked for a quote for my husband to have his denture repaired. A tooth had come out when he was eating Taffy and he swallowed it. I was calling several dentists to find out what it would cost to repair the missing tooth and the call center guy said around 29 dollars.... and that he would waive the appointment fee and it would be free to be seen and given the quote. Well after all was said and done the cost of this visit was actually $238 and they gave my husband a 20% discount because we don't have insurance. So grand total and because my husband is timid and doesn't know how to walk away from a scam. We paid $140+ for a tooth replacement. I am not mad about the price per say but the fact that the call center guy was so sure it wouldn't be much more than 29. Totally feels like bait and switch. Just to get us in the door. Most likely we would have gone some where else if they had been honest from the get go.

They're friendly and nice. But I doubt TWO aspects about Aspen Dental. 1. Are the surgeries you suggested to patients necessary? 2. Are you able to do dentistry? 1. I told the doctor that I don't feel good on one tooth, the doctor suggested a filling. Finally, I find out that the doctor made filling on another tooth. How weird that you have problem on one tooth, but they suggest filling on another one! 2. I totally had 5 fillings at this office. Right now, I feel sour on 2 of them when eating. This was the worst dental experience of my life. Not only did it take a very long time to get seen, I got brought back to a room where we spent more than an hour taking xray pictures. Next, I got brought into a room and my blood pressure was taken. Due to the fact that it was two points higher than what they consider healthy, they proceeded to tell me that they wouldn't be examining my teeth. "So I just spend well over an hour here for nothing over two points???" I asked. "We won't work on you because we are concerned with your overall health" the Dr. responded. I specifically go to the dentist to have my TEETH looked at, not my blood pressure. If it was so important to take my blood pressure to determine if they could look at my teeth or not, I would have preferred it done the first part of the appointment as opposed to wasting an hour and half of my time for NOTHING. I wish Aspen Dental recognized this one important fact when it comes to TEETH: You are many more times more likely to die from no treatment than treatment.

I couldn't have picked a better staff if I had tried. My first encounter was with Angel, who assured me everything would be ok. She did all of my xrays. What a caring individual! After that Dr. Michael came in, and with no judgement at all came up with a plan. I have had several visits to this office in 2 months, each person so caring, so knowledgeable, and so compassionate. Kay, the hygienist, so funny, yet understanding. And Dr. Mary, well she is just the best. I can't thank this team enough for all they have done, and all they will do in future visits.

While people are nice here, my experience thus far feels like I was passed around from dentist to dentist in the two times here just for my crown. It's not a personal kind of care, not that considerate It is already unnerving to go to a dentist but to have three different hands in my mouth, no one assured me of being familiar with my problem I trusted the first dentist to have assessed and expected would be treating me. I just had to assume they knew. I have never had to be given four shots before to be properly numbed. And the temp tooth given me just was not thoroughly looked at from all angles, the back has a gape i can feel with my tongue and it's like a raw nerve exposed, super painful and have to return in early morning cause I can't even breathe without it being painful. I'm just not happy with this haphazard care, and I again say they are nice people. But the bottom line is it's the worst dental experience for me I've had in decades, and will not return after this issue is completed. I'm feeling a bit shook from it all, and really disappointed I have to go back again to get this done properly, and hopefully a bit more carefully.

One of the worst experiences of my life!! The surgeon broke lots of bone out of my jaw and left pieces of tooth and bone in my gums because he was in such a hurry to get someone else in the chair. Finally go to get my permanent dentures and they screwed up the bite and I was stuck for weeks waiting for final delivery. They never fit right from the time I picked them up and when they finally popped out, after and extended stay in Nevada and Utah where there are no Aspen Dental's and were entombed in concrete they told me if I need another bottom made it was going to cost $1300. So much for a 100% guarantee. And finally, after paying for full anesthesia and having to undergo the procedure awake they never refunded the difference. I would rate my experience with Aspen Dental a zero if I could!! My ordeal started in Florida and ends in Fargo. I advise everybody to look for an alternative to Aspen Dental!!

Originally my experience wasn't so bad, but later things changed. First they didn't gave me the proper orientation about my treatment, in addition they adjusted what I was supposed to pay. I ended paying more than $7,000 and almost 1 year later they sent me to a collection agency for an additional amount. When I tried to find what happened, I received multiple explanations about what happened, but nothing made sense. Now I have to find more money to pay for something that I already paid. In addition, they were supposed to call me for another appointment, but thank God they never called.

The best dental visit I have ever had. So excited to welcome the Greensboro office opening in late October. However I will still drive from Greensboro to High Point just for the peace of mind. She used two or three different tools and when I thought she had just taken the crown off of the tooth and would then work on extracting the tooth, she said the procedure was done. I was surprised because the procedure was so short and I didn't feel it. They did keep me informed of the procedure and asked if I had any questions and were great.

Had an initial good visit with them after needing to be seen on a Saturday a few months ago. Since that time it has rapidly gone down hill! They were supposed to have removed an 85.00 charge for xrays- they still have not done so. I had a root canal through a crown and needed to come back to them and have the follow-up work done on the crown. They won't do the crown work until the "Hygiene" work is done first- which will be $504.00. I advised I wasn't doing the hygiene work right now as I can't afford it, but need to do the crown work. They refused ! I understand advising me on what is needed- but FORCING a patient to do anything seems unethical and very shady to me. I will NOT be back and advise everyone to stay away from this office !!

I've only been visiting this office for about a year, but my experience has been fairly consistent. The staff in general are all very kind and efficient. They appear to be very good at their jobs and are always pleasant. The reason for my lower rating is not the staff and their quality of care, but the lack of cleanliness and order within the office. The waiting area is a converted storefront lobby and is not clean. The floor is always dirty and in general, there is no pleasant ambiance to the waiting area. There are none of the the little details of quality, comfort and a sense of class that make one feel confident in what happens beyond that lobby - the first impression is not very good. The procedural areas seem fairly well-kept, though there are often boxes of supplies or other things stacked up in halls. Unfortunately, the disorderly and untidy aspects of the environment do not give one a sense of confidence in the quality of oral hygiene care. Hygiene should be important everywhere!

I had the tooth you insisted shouldn't be extracted pulled by an honest dentist who seemed genuinely concerned with my well being He saw no evidence of the necessity of a root canal and his records will reflect that. I gave my statement to Kat Carnes at the Maine State Dental License agency against Dr Cuddy along with signed Medical releases for both Aspen Dental and the dentist who eventually extracted the offending tooth. I have appointments with the State Attorneys office to file a fraud complaint as well as with my attorney. I intend to file a lawsuit for compensatory and punitive damages. I believe the medical records will speak for themselves and prove your greed, neglect, malfeasance and utter disregard for my medical care. My experience with a compassionate doctor who wasn't attempting to sell me a used car will most certainly prove this beyond any doubt. I intend to do everything in my power to prevent Aspen Dental from continuing there policy of taking advantage of those in need in an effort to increase the size of the bill. For which your more than willing to arrange financing. That's one of the topics I'll be discussing with the Consumer Fraud protection Agency As well as the State Attorneys office. I strongly believe my efforts are what's called a "moral imperative" I feel compelled to prevent you from committing this duplicitous, fraudulent, dishonest self serving behavior to even one more person. I'd say good luck in the upcoming investigation and subsequent lawsuit but I wouldn't mean it. Besides, you lost when another doctor pulled my tooth and implied your full of **it. I am however open to a cash settlement. I would urge you to start thinking of a number that your certain I won't find insulting. I'll give you 24 hours out of a kindness you didn't show me. 15 years ago was my last visit with a dentist, for fear of pain. Well because of tooth pain I went to Aspen dental 6/28/18 Benton Harbor Michigan for treatment. I found the entire staff very professional and patient especially Jasmine a dental hygienist that performed a deep cleaning procedure. Had a throbbing toothache and visited Aspen Dental in Thomaston. Dr. Yoo was excellent. He gave me options to save the tooth in question or extract. I choose extraction and within minutes the tooth was out. I even got a rebate on the cost because the procedure wasn't as bad as originally thought. I couldn't be happier with the service. My initial visit was very good and very pleasant and professional with the original dentist. My second visit was initially ok. I was in excruciating pain with a bad infection and the different dentist said I needed a root canal or an extraction in five days once the infection had calmed down. He gave me antibiotics and ten vicodin because I'm allergic to NSAIDS. The amount of Vicodin was not even enough to last for five days . I was to take one every 6-8 hours. But the next day had to take at 6 hours because the pain was so bad and slept in a chair with ice on my face crying all night, swelling set in vomiting began I was running a fever. The next day I called the office in tears and I have a very high tolerance for pain and told the girl the pain was beyond excruciating, was vomiting, had developed swelling, a fever and had to take the Vicodin at 6 hours. I'm severely epileptic and lack of sleep could be life threatening and he knew all this. I did not ask for more Vicodin but for advice and help to try and calm this down. I was concerned about sepsis at that point. His reply was go to the ER. i told the girl who relayed his response that I refused to go to the ER. Last time I went I had an intestinal blockage and I got treated like a criminal scamming for drugs. The ran tests and three hours later finally gave me pain meds and admitted me to the hospital. The time before that I went to the ER with kidney stones got treated like a drug addict criminal scamming for drugs they ran tests and two hours later gave morphine IV for pain and admitted me to the hospital. Until they know you're not faking they give you non narcotic meds that don't do anything. So after I told her this if I got treat like a criminal with serious problems and had to be hospitalized going to the ER for this would get me nowhere and tell the doctor what I told you. I'm sitting here now in excruciating pain and he didn't care and blew me off.

I came in for a damaged front tooth as an emergency patient . The doctor was good about explaining my options and they were not pushy about getting things done as others have suggested. They did make me sit for a full 360 set of stays for a single tooth . This was both unnecessary and an unnecessary cost incurred by my insurance. As a business owner I do my best to keep my customers costs down and to never start work without discussing the costs with the client first. Other then that they were pleasant to deal with and fast on getting me seen even though they could not assist with anything but a referral due to location of damaged tooth.

I'm giving at least one star because of the friendliness of my dentist and hygienist I worked with. The financial staff were rude and had no clue what they were doing. People, if you go here and have insurance CHECK YOUR EOB STATEMENTS!!!! They over charged on every filling! I had an antibiotic injection that they said insurance never pays for, well mine did and they still charged me full price $79! I had multiple procedures done on two separate appointments and over paid them by $134 and they still wanted more $$ on my 3rd visit. After showing them what they had been doing, with proof of my EOB statements, they claimed that if it's not in their system that way they OVER estimate the cost on procedures until the insurance company pays them. Has anyone heard of such an asinine statement? I was seriously baffled. The gal claimed they do that so the patient has a credit at the end instead of getting a bill? SMH! I'm sorry but I'd rather keep my money in my pocket instead of Aspen Dental holding it hostage until they get paid by the insurance (which is not the patients problem) We all know how easy it is to get your money back in these types of situations. I will be cancelling my next appointments due to the fact of a poorly run corporate business. Stick to the mom and pop small dental, they have more respect for their patients.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR PARTIAL DENTURE REPAIR. I made an appointment through Aspen Dental (call center apparently) to fix my partial denture. I explained that the teeth were loose and needed to be re-glued to the metal clasp part of the partial. The person assured me they could help. I had the appointment today at Aspen Dental in Fargo, and after long wait times, full x-rays that I did not want or need, and assurances that they could not help me without full x-rays, I am told they are not willing to fix my partial denture "because they didn't make it and don't know how it was made". So frustrating. If you don't fix existing partial dentures then say so. Waste of time.

I'm not a person who gets nervous going to the dentist, but if you are this would be a good place for you to go. It'd been a few years since I'd had a cleaning, turns out I brush too hard. Blake did a fantastic job of explaining the damage it can do and the steps to take to prevent further damage. Prior to the cleaning he demonstrated how the cleaning tool worked as I'd never had a periodontal cleaning before. His chairside manner is great, and it was as enjoyable of an experience as a cleaning can be. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

I have had nothing but a great experience at Aspen Dental in Rochester, NH. I was referred to Aspen Dental by a friend who is a patient at the Portsmouth Office. I have to admit I had some trepidation at first with the fact they are such a large company with many locations and thought maybe they would lack the personalize care. There was no need to worry. Every person that I have seen in the office from the X-ray technician, the hygienist, the dentists, the office staff, etc. have been wonderful! Another advantage of Aspen Dental is they offer more affordable services and will help you set up a payment plan that you are comfortable with. I have shared my experience with many people and will continue to do so. As an added review, I would like to let the Dr.s know how wonderful Amy is. She has a way about her that calms the nervous patients, brings a smile to even the difficult patients, makes you feel like part of the Aspen family, etc. She is the best!! Let's see... where do I start... Had us fill out paperwork with all the same information I had already given them on our whole family over the phone. Didn't call my wife in for her appt till 40 mins after our scheduled time. She wasn't attended to until an hour after... The hygienist who worked on her was older, and I understand her being slower, but seeing this was the case, she took her sweet time checking her teeth and then had to redo the work she had already done with the tech who was jotting down the notes. Then they left the room with no instruction as to next steps, so... my wife and I got up and went back to the waiting room. They then called us back into the examination room because the dentist still had to see her. Which we knew, but they did not communicate this at all. Finally, they sat us down and went through the list of things she needed work on and financing for us. So in the end, this is actually just a sales scheme. Because, I later found out from my wife, the appt for "a cleaning" never actually happened. They just evaluated her for the thousands of dollars worth of work she apparently needed. I scheduled her an appt for A CLEANING... I have an appt tomorrow that I will not be keeping. This place was understaffed, have poor communication, and in the end just a sales place verses a service place. Do not give them your business...

The listed hours are not correct and there phones rolled to voice mail until almost 9:30 am causing confusion as to which location our appointment was at, as a result our appointment had to be pushed back and it wasn't even our fault. They charged me $125.00 to clean my denture and then I went home and cleaned off what they didn't. My denture had sharp spots that the dentist tried to grind down. They're still there. When I complained about the fit told me to use sea bond and get used to it. I hadn't broken in my denture yet. Good God, if it's not broken in in a year, I doubt it ever will. I complained about some other things, he told me that's just how they are made now days. I told him I had my other set 40 years, and from day one never had these problems. Mind you I didn't buy the $1800 pair but I wasn't going to spend that kind of money on to find out they were junk. This pair is really junk. I'm going to go shopping around to see if someone else is smart enough to make them right.

So I went in because tooth ache and check up. Was greeted with friendly smile and very easy to talk to staff. Recieved x-rays and checkup, pain was coming from molar, dentist didn't see anything wrong with molar but had a big cavity on top tooth. So the designed a plan and scheduled to fill the cavity next day. Came in and got cavity filled, waited couple of days and the pain didn't go away. I went in on a Friday and explained the pain isn't any better. We discussed were the pain was and has an old filling that was suspected. Doctor removed old filling and put in a new filling. They stayed a little later to complete the job. This place is the best. After 2 weeks I can now say I'm feeling better. Thank you and keep up the amazing work.
