I was really surprised with how well my underbite was fixed and how fast the process went by! I've still got some time left to go and can't wait for the end result. I am an older patient who had incredibly misaligned teeth. The Doctor worked with my dentist to have 4 teeth removed so the remaining teeth could be aligned properly. My teeth were so bad, it sometimes would take multiple technicians to get brackets applied and bonded. What a mess. Through the entire process the team worked hard to ensure I was satisfied with my treatment. There were a few miscues, but you know, with that many appointments, something is bound to go wrong. Overall, this was a positive experience and my smile is back. My treatment was completed some time ago but wanted to offer my opinion on the services. I recommend this office if you need braces.

1 star only because i have to rate... Do Not go to this place... it's a rip off... And they don't care bout you.. they just want their money...They replaced a bracket at my visit and l left 2 mins later, that same bracket was no where to be found...Drove back right away for them to tell me they're going to lunch and i have to reschedule an appointment for the poor job they did... unbelievable. They still owe me money too and won't speak to me when they know it is me calling...

I started coming here almost a year ago and I love this place! Haven't had any issues with them and progress is going great with my braces. They should be coming off very soon and I can’t wait to see the end result. The staff is very courteous and polite. They are very thorough but don’t keep you for too long, you’re in and then you’re out. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for braces!!

This orthodontics office failed to bill my insurance timely & properly as outlined in the payment plan and is trying to make me accountable for their 1 1/2 year old mistake. The official billing officer refused to meet with me as requested and unauthorized credit charges have appeared on my wage works. Unethical so I stopped going to my treatments due to the stress & duress over their incompetence. I recommend them to no one.

I am very disappointed in this practice. I had my appointment canceled...rescheduled...and canceled again without adequate notification. I find it absurd that you can schedule an appointment several weeks ahead, confirm and have it cancelled last minute. The practice called me the day of my appointment knowing I was an out of town patient (moving to the DC area wanting to start my treatment before I started my new job/left on vacation). For the circumstances I so clearly detailed, I wish I was notified a day prior or a week prior if this was going to be the case. I actually didnt even recieve any calls from them, I found out when walking in for my scheduled appointment. I just thought this was unprofessional. I can't communicate enough how disappointed I am with the lack of care.

I love Hudson ortho so much I told my sister-in-law she had to take both her boys there! The staff is friendly, efficient and extremely accomadating; my first quote with a local orthodontist was over $5000! Hudson orthodontics said "No way! That's way to high! Can you say braces that are affordable and fit the budget? I know I can! Dr. Hudson and Nicole wasted no time in creating a treatment plan for my daughter and they got right to work! Makhalia is the best! She sees my daughter regularly for maintenance and check-ups and does an outstanding job in teaching her braces and dental care. The location is very convenient and accessible. Go see the team at Hudson orthodontics; you won't be disappointed!

Somewhat rude to people. Everyone is in the same room so you can see at least two other people getting their braces put on in one big room. It’s not private at all. They forget to change appointments and they often forget to increase your appointment time if you need additional work to be done.

I had a great experience with them for me. The issues have started since my 10 year old son has started his treatment. His first appointment to place the braces, the assistant had little regard on how he felt. He was extremely uncomfortable and even in pain which he didn't openly show to me. She could see tears but refused to adjust. I did my check up to see how he was and noticed the tears. Even after demanding she adjust she was reluctant to do so. Now, after only 2 appointments, we have moved due to military orders. I have paid an extensive amount of money and have to chasing them down for several weeks to receive it back. I am being avoided an answer which is very upsetting. I completed my treatment, recommended a friend who also completed his treatment. This is not at all how I expect to be treated. Update: For 2 appointments and some materials they refused to return any money and have asked for more money totaling about $1000 for barely any work being completed.

Absolutely love this place! Was on vacation from a different state and my son's braces had a wire that was poking his inner cheek and he was in a lot of pain. My brother is seen at this office so I figured I'd call to see of they could help us before hitting up the local ER for a few hours. Left a voicemail since it was over 4th of july weekend and was called back within minutes and were met at the office within half an hour. The office was clean and the gentlemen that met us there was super nice. We were in an out in no time. Would definitely recommend this office to anyone in need of orthodontic services! Even though my son was not a patient on file they helped us out and were very courteous in doing so.

Dr Hudson and his staff are absolutely phenomenal. I have been seeing him for over two years to fixed my teeth that looked like I had been chasing parked cars for the better part of 3 decades. They used the newest techniques that invisalign had to offer and the results are better than I could have hoped. I conduct research on everything I do before committing and he is one of the best around. When checking other orthodontists they would do one correction on your teeth without additional charge or you could pay for additional changes. We made several corrections to get my mouth where it needed to be at no additional cost (I followed their directions to the letter). I didnt feel like he was just trying to shuttle me through the procedure. Dr Hudson's team were also very flexable with my work schedule and when I had a bracket come of they got me in quickly so I didnt fall behind on my plan ( my teeth were really bad....had to do this a couple times). If you are on the fence I hope this helped you make an informed decision. Good luck!!

I began my treatment back in March or April of 2016. I finally got my braces removed in October 2017. However, I had to wait a week without a retainer and my teeth started to shift. I was given these plastic retainers which I don't like. They are not very comfortable. When I called concerning it, they could only see me at 5pm or after. I met with them today for my retainer check and discuss the fact that my teeth have shifted and they basically talked over me. Refused to listen to me when I told them my tooth had started to shift within the week that I was waiting. I missed about a week or two (not consecutively) of wearing my retainer and my tooth is basically back to where it started. Surprisingly.....they say "we can put the braces back on or take new impressions", are you kidding me? I WILL NOT purchased braces all over again. Mind you during my appointment to pick up my retainer I mentioned my tooth was shifted and they chopped it to wear your retainer for 24 hours and it will move it back. I didn't believe that at all. If it was already shifting, why would it move it back? I was already concerned by the fact I had to wait a week with nothing to keep my teeth straight after reading that teeth shift once the braces are off. I am dissatisfied with the fact I spent 17 months with braces to only end up with a shifted tooth again. Oh! And here's the icing on the cake, he says can I see your retainer? I show him and he says, your impressions were straight! DUH! Of course they would be straight because you took the impressions RIGHT after taking my braces off. I'm at the point where I don't even want to continue retainer checks and I'll buy a mouth guard over the counter to keep my teeth aligned. WASTE! Don't get me wrong, his staff were always friendly and answered any questions. Dr. Hudson was always professional BUT once the braces came off and it was time for retainers....things changed.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I do not understand how this place can stay in business. My experience began on Sept 2, 2016. I had to come in and have impressions made for my son 3 times. I've dealt with Kelley, Nicole and the online chat "Jasmine". Nobody had the courtesy to return my phone calls regarding the pre-authorization for my son's braces. I got excuses, after excuses, never any answers. Finally, last week (12/22/16) when I had to call AGAIN, I was told that my insurance did not approve the braces. I was encouraged to come in and talk about financing. Seriously?! After that conversation, I called my insurance and, interestingly enough, they have no record of Hudson Orthodontics ever submitting pre-authorization materials. I've spent four months waiting for action and now I regret ever contacting Hudson Orthodontics. I will spend my money elsewhere.

We were patients with Dr. McDonough. (Now Hudson Orthodontics) when we called to get a set of retainers replaced for my daughter we were told that they could not find files of the Lifetime Insurance she had purchased. We were quoted a replacement cost of $108 each, after showing our displeasure to this and searching for another Orthodontics realizing that it would cost more to start from scratch we called back to make an appointment. At this point we were quoted $195 each for replacements! and told that we were misquoted by new employees that didn't know what they were doing!

I went in with a groupon and they have an excellent staff. My credit isn't the best but they were able to put me on a payment plan that I was comfortable with. I also work two jobs so they were able to put my braces on the exact same day as my consultation. I have been to many different dentist office and their staff was not as friendly as this staff. They made me feel very welcomed. I do recommend this office to others. Also braces are expensive wherever you go no matter what. I rather go somewhere where I know I would be treated special and taken care of!

I was an older patient kind of forced into braces to correct an over-bite after my dentist discovered Invisalign wasn't an option. Dr. Hudson and his staff were stellar. His office functions as a well-oiled machine. I was made to feel comfortable during each visit and had each step explained to me. Although the techs were good. I really enjoyed the service provided by Renee and MaKayla. I highly recommend Dr. Hudson for anyone needing an orthodontist.

I would give zero stars if that were an option. Do not waste your money! Overpriced relative to other providers. We went with Hudson because we had a groupon but that did nothing to the overall cost. Further, the business office does not appear to know how to manage or communicate with customers, and they are extremely unresponsive. Also beware that Hudson charges the same high price regardless of treatment. Our second child needed braces for a significantly shorter period of time yet there was no price break. Unfortunately we felt locked in at that point not wanting to use multiple providers. In retrospect we should’ve just switched since more often than not one visit turned into 3-4 times going back to get things fixed that weren’t installed properly or broke. This wreaked havoc on our kids education as they kept having to miss multiple days of school for return visits that should not have been necessary....and a few times we took them to the office and they weren’t even seen due to scheduling or other issues. Most of the staff are courteous but you may want to save time and money by comparison shopping before you get sucked in.

This is a wonderful orthodontist who has a lot of knowledge. He assured me that he can align my jaw and in just a short period of time, I can already see a difference. I’ve had braces before from a different orthodontist and it didn’t correct my jaw alignment, I went back to her seeking help and was told I needed surgery. Dr. Hudson assured me that with the proper appliances, my jaw would be aligned properly. I’m already noticing improvement and I’m so thankful for Dr. Hudson.
