I have been Dr. Adams patient for over 12 years and my wife has been seeing him for 8 years, we have no complains on the service from the doctors and the dental hygienist...they are always on point and friendly. I never spend more than an hour even when I have to get the full service of cleaning and x-rays done. The issue I have is with the billing department, I have tried twice to get a price estimate on Invisalign, which the office has to submit to my insurance, due to (job change and insurance change) and never getting a clear understanding on my cost. Most recently, she was going to send a Pre-Estimate of Benefits to both of my insurance companies, so I know how much of the $4900.00 I have to pay. It has now been over a month and when I contacted my insurance company they stated that they never received anything from the office. I called the office to check on this and have to keep leaving a voicemail every time. It’s like déjà vu all over again because I went through this last year from the first insurance company. This is the only factor that would turn me off from recommending them.

My husband has been going for almost 10 years now and highly recommended Dr. Stass. My cleaning and filling appointments were exactly what I expected. Hygienist was very thorough, checking in with me frequently to make sure I was doing ok. When Dr. S replaced my filling, I did not feel a thing and my tooth sensitivity went away immediately. My kids both had good experiences getting their cleanings as well. I highly recommend this practice!

I moved from out of town and needed a dentist. So glad I found this place! Great staff, clean and fair. After my cleaning, I inquired about having my teeth whitened. They said that I wouldn't notice a difference. Instead of using that opportunity to charge me, they were honest!

Dr. Adams makes you wait in the chair after your teeth have been cleaned for a minimum of 15 minutes but usually more. He told me I had a cavity that needed to be filled and luckily I got a second opinion because the new dentist (my new full time dentist) did not see any sign of a cavity anywhere. I asked the office to email my x-rays to my new dentist 3 times and they never did. I've thought I hated the dentist for years but finally realized I just hated my dentist.

We had a billing issue one time when paying cash for service. Their billing system is confusing and they give "estimates" then bill insurance and charge a balance. I simply do not like this method, but it is not enough for me to give them one less star in my review. The entire staff, hygienists, dentists and front office alike are all patient oriented and professional. I am equally comfortable in there as is the rest of my family. Each dentist I have seen is great, Dr. Adams, Dr. Staas and Dr. Beck. All great. Overall, I love this practice. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent office, but had to have work re-done a few times. I had Doctor Adams...good bed-side manner, but I was less than impressed with his work. Good office atmosphere, and wait time not too bad.

I have been going here for about 4 or 5 years now and I am going to switch dentists. I've had two different times where Dr Beck did not numb my mouth enough for fillings! I know it was him the second time because he told me he missed the right spot for the shot! I feel he is too old and needs to retire. This is the worst! I hate the dentist anyway and this does not help my fear of them. He is also too rough when doing cleanings or any type of work. I hate putting bad reviews because I really want to like this place but I think I'm going to see what else is out there.

Excellent dental practice, but schedule challenged. I've walked out more than once, today for the last time. I drove 40 minutes in rush hour traffic to make an 8am appointment, but my hygienist was in a meeting with the office manager and couldn't take me on time. I now have a new dental provider for the first time in many years.

I've been going to Grove Ave. for years. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to Dr. Adams and his entire staff! He has a great sense of humor (thank GOD) and is so patient with me. His staff goes above and beyond to help in anyway possible. Jenny, in particular, is always willing to take my calls, help me with my insurance questions and recently listened to me cry my eyes on the phone when I lost a back tooth while out of town on business. I wish I could give this practice TEN STARS! If you're looking for a GREAT Dentist and Team, look no further than Grove Ave Family and Cosmetic - THE BEST!!!

This last time it involved a serious procedure that could not wait and we were given a referral to another practice. We've been loyal patients for many years and expected more from this practice.

Staff is really friendly. That's about where the good ends. My last straw was when I received a call to confirm an appointment. Now, they don't have an answering machine or service which means you must call during their business hours and hope someone answers. I tried twice to call during my lunch breaks and no one answered (likely because they get their lunch the same time I do). Finally received another snarky message saying "we would appreciate a call back." I am certain that they don't allow their staff to make personal calls on the job but they seem to require that of patients who work during normal business hours. After 4 days of trying to call them back when its convenient for THEM, I had to hand deliver a letter and stick it on their door to cancel an appointment so that I wouldn't get charged.
