I've had positive experiences here. The pricing of services is very comparable to nearby competitors. The building is very clean and all rooms are equipped with tv's overhead - love not having to stare at a ceiling tile while having work done! The staff is very friendly and courteous. They take the time to accurately answer all questions and the waiting room is kid-friendly and has 2 massage chairs - added bonus!

If you have good health insurance, and great dental health, this might be the place for you. If you feel that the more you pay, the better service you receive, this also might be the place for you. If you don’t care if you see the same person twice, you are in luck. As someone who does have good health insurance, I held on here longer than I probably should have. But the high prices and seeming revolving door led me to look elsewhere for my dental health services.

I wish I can show how grateful I am for everyone that works in this office. When I first came a year ago, I thought the words “pain” and “dentist” were synonymous. I had a whole mess of a mouth after my old dentist botched a root canal. Dr. Korkis’ soft touch is exactly what I needed to get healthy again. I had no idea how much a healthy mouth impacts other aspects of my life until Dr. Korkis got her hands in there and made all the pain go away. Dr. Kim is the specialist that fixed my root canal, and he is just a legend with a drill. He had me in and out before my mouth even had time to feel pain, and there was practically no recovery time after the procedure. Michelle and Erica at the front make me feel like part of the family whenever I go in, and as weird as it might sound, I actually ENJOY going there and catching up with them. I will be referring my roommates, coworkers, and family, urging them to do the right thing and make the switch to Dr. Korkis, Dr. Kim, and the rest of the team at ADA

Today began with drearily, with a diagnosis of an infection underneath two of my wisdom teeth — postponing a major surgery I had scheduled 4 days from now. The team at Advanced Dental Arts turned everything around for me. Dr. Kayvan Fathani, lead assistant Gloria, and patient care coordinator Natalie kept their office open late for me so that the extraction could take place on the same day. I was a little anxious about the surgery, but the warm demeanor of all involved helped me to feel confident. Natalie pulled out all stops, making sure that I could have the surgery done that day. Kayvan explained the whole procedure thoroughly, answering all of my questions before I had a chance to ask them. Gloria had her hand on my shoulder during the process and every time I tensed, she would pat me gently — it felt like my mom was in the room! Throughout the surgery, Kayvan made sure I was aware of what was happening and told me what to expect. I just felt so well taken care of. To top it off, after I had left, and made it halfway down the block, I heard some people calling my name. It was Gloria and Natalie with my cellphone charger! I mean, they’re the best. Highly recommended!

She built a great rapport and relationship with me, taking the right amount of time with me so that I didnt feel rushed. This experience was upsetting. I just moved to NYC from San Francisco and needed a tooth cleaning. I was referred to Advanced Dental Arts by a colleague. I arrived for the cleaning (which is all I requested on the initial appointment call) and was escorted to the dental chair by the dental assistant. She was super friendly. She said she was going to take x-rays but I told her that I had just had my x-rays recently done in California and didn’t want more x-rays. She said no problem but requested that I have them sent by my California dentist as soon as possible after my visit. Then the dentist arrived to do an exam. I thought that was a bit usual since normally the exam occurs after a cleaning but I went with it. The dentist asked why I refused x-rays and I re-explained that I had just had x-rays done in California and I would have them sent shortly after my visit. She agreed, did the exam and left the room. 45 minutes after my arrival, the hygienist finally came in the room. She just looked at me and said, unless I get your x-rays on the spot she would not be doing a cleaning. I explained to her I’d had this conversation twice already and both times her colleagues had said it was OK to have them sent after my appointment. She questioned me on who said that… implying either that whoever did was not knowledgeable or perhaps I was making it up. Either way, not the best customer service move. My reaction was there was this very unusual obsession about getting x-rays. I asked her why she couldn’t do the cleaning without the x-rays and she went into some canned answer about “liability” issues. It’s so not a liability issue. It was all such a turn off. I walked out without getting my teeth cleaned. Since it is a requirement of this practice, as I learned the hard way, to have x-rays before doing a cleaning, they should have instructed me when I made my appointment and I would have arranged for them to be sent over prior to the appointment. The whole experience was so bizarre. I felt like common sense and good judgment were not used in this case. It’s unfortunate; they lost a client who if this situation had been handled better could have become a dedicated patient.

Dr Korkis was the best dentist I’ve ever been to in my life. When it comes to dental treatment, I’m the most anxious patient but Dr. Korkis calmed me down so much, explained everything about the treatment so well that gave me a sense of security. Wow! What an experience. I was recommended to come here by a friend of mine who is a dentist. He said they are the best. I have an implant that needs very specialized care. So they scheduled me for a free consultation. Every interaction I had with the office was friendly, professional and super nice. They took me on time, and the office was beautifully designed and super clean. The staff new exactly what I needed done and how to do it and most of all they listened to me and what my concerns were. I’m scheduled for a follow up and I know I made the right decision. I highly recommend Advanced Dental Arts. I’m actually excited to have my tooth drilled here :)

Wanted to like this place. I've been here a couple times and the experience had been OK, up until the latest visit. A dentist treated my cavity with filling. A week later I felt uncomfortable, but thought it was apart of the process and let it be. About a month later, I came back due to the pain chewing and was told that what I actually needed was a root canal. I inquired about the fee and they were un-willing to charge me the difference although I felt that they misdiagnosed what I actually needed. I had to go to a specialist and get this done separately and couldn't chew on my left side for two months. I felt overcharged and had to pay out of pocket for my root canal procedure elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, the place seems nice, but if you want a trustworthy experience, go elsewhere.

Was really impressed with how efficient these guys were. I set aside two hours in my calendar for a check-up (because that's usually how long I spent at my last dentist, half of which would be sitting half-asleep in the operating chair), but they had me out in an under an hour. Had a full cleaning done, X-rays, and even a broken filling replaced. Dina, Gloria, and Dr. Bertman were the nicest, and Dr. Bertman made my day when he complimented my favorite pair of jeans. I'll definitely be returning here in 6 months for my follow up.

Dr. Bertman was a great help, I called his office asking to be seen last minute to be evaluated for a deep tooth ache. I was not a previous patient at the office, so I know how difficult it can be to fit in someone unfamiliar on too the schedule. I explained to the front desk the pain I was in, they spoke to the doctor and he was able to evaluate me. He quickly came to the conclusion I need to see an oral surgeon, he referred me out to a top surgeon in NYC and contacted the surgeon personally explaining my situation. I saw Dr. Bertman Wednesday, got surgery Friday, and was back to work that Monday. As a healthcare practitioner it was important for me to be back to work for my patients, the staff at Advanced Dental Arts was a great help. They showed exceptional professionalism and EFFICIENCY! Knowing when you're able to treat a patient and when you need to refer out takes humility and expertise. I highly recommend anyone to go see Todd and his staff. If they can't help you they will surely know someone who can.

I came to Advanced dental arts back in March to realize I needed a lot of dental work. I had oral radiation in November which caused dry mouth and decay below some of my old cavities as a child. Over the past 6 months I met with almost everyone who worked there. They performed a root canal, crown lengthening, installed a post, a temp crown and then finally my permanent crown followed by four cavities. The receptionist are very accommodating and kind. I was in tears on that first day because I knew it was going to be costly and time consuming. I cannot express how accommodating the office was , they worked through a payment plan for me and communicated with me on the plan to get my teeth back to normal. Dr.Bertman is an old pro he got me past my dentist phobia buy making me laugh. Instead of avoiding my dental appointments like the plague I look forward to my future visits.

My husband and I have been going to see Dr.Todd Bertman for over 5 years. I used to have fears visiting the dentist but not since I met Dr. Bertman. He is very gentle, compassionate, well knowledge, thorough, honest, very professional, and also easy on the eyes :)! He has filled several cavities and replaced two caps/crowns for me and never did I feel any pain or discomfort. In addition, I had some receding gums and he recommended the “Pinhole” surgery that I had performed at his office with Dr. Jeremy Nehleber who is a Periodontics specialist. Dr. Nehleber is also amazing and I am so impressed with how my gums look now. I also felt no pain and the healing processed was approximately 6 weeks. At first I was very apprehensive and nervous about having this surgery, but both Dr. Nehleber and Dr. Bertman put my mind at eased. Dr. Nehleber was so kind and caring about my healing processed that he gave me his cell number to reach out to him with any concerns. Now how many doctors do you know would do that???!!! Thank you Dr. Nehleber for giving me VIP services:)! My husband Michael was never very particular about which dentist he went to, but after his experience with Dr. Bertman he does not want to go to any other dentist. Last year he had implant surgery and went to Dr. Bertman to put in the crown/cap and he said the fit is perfect. Rhianna the office/billing manager is always very helpful, sweet, and patience with questions regarding services and billing. The entire staff are very efficient and friendly. The office is very clean and well maintain. There is never any wait time and always a reminder phone call a day before your appointment. I give Dr. Bertman and his staff a 5 star rating!!

I generally avoid going to the dentist but seeing the stellar reviews I decided to give this office a try, and I was definitely not disappointed. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Angra who was extremely patient (and definitely helped calm my nerves). I am pretty scared of sharp objects and anything near my mouth but the procedure turned out to be completely painless and I left with a clear understanding of how to maintain my oral hygiene. This review is for Ina, Dr Al, and Krystal: I hate the Dentist Office, most people do, but I've avoided t for a solid 5 years. I heard enough great reviews from my (regularly going to the dentist) friend that I finally changed my insurance so I could go the same place. After my first visit I've scheduled every visit around the shifts of these same 3 people. These people are awesome. Krystal is the receptionist, has a wonderful personality, and has been so helpful and patient with my litany of questions since before I was even a client. She's all smiles after my visits and I've definitely stayed later than intended talking to her! I learned during my last visit that Ina was a new addition and please keep her because she's great! Friendly and helpful, also has a gentle touch (sush a relief!). Dr Al answers all my questions, which can be a lot (and even told me that he was happy I was asking) and has been extremely efficient for both of my visits. These people also just keep you informed and I can't even say how much that helps my anxiety. I hope they don't get so many good reviews that I can't get appointments but something tells me that they will!!

If you are tired of gambling on dentists, look no more. Went to have my dental needs addressed, and Dr. Elward gave me honest feedback on priorities. She did not perform work right away, as 90% of dentists would do, but rather suggested to treat the gums first and then everything else done thereafter. Dr. Lehrman also gave me laser treatment..Both doctors made me feel comfortable and confident in decision making. Doesn't cost, cheap but definitely worth paying top dollar for top service. Friendly and accommodating staff. Punctuality is a must have at this place. Keep up the good work..

I had a really pleasant experience with ADA. My usual dentist is in CA, but I was eligible for a cleaning before the end of the year, and found them through ZocDocs. The office was nice, and the women at reception were warm and welcoming. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was sweet and funny, and doctor Ocando was great, too. They were very understanding about the fact that I'll probably do my next couple cleanings in CA, but once I have to get my own insurance (currently still on my parents') I'll definitely make an effort to come back.

If I could give this establishment negative stars, I would. I made an appointment to have the dentist take a look at some stress-related ulcers in my mouth. After waiting 45 minutes to even see the doctor, she rudely informed me that I could get these ulcers lasered off for an out of pocket cost of $350, but it probably wouldn’t help since they were stress-related. I then asked her what my other options were and she said “none.” No advice whatsoever on over the counter products to use or any other types of remedies. Nothing. Rude doctor. Completely unhelpful and a complete waste of time.

I love this dental office. Dr. Korkis is wonderful. She explains everything to you so you know exactly what’s going on with your teeth. I felt no pain at all while she was fixing a tooth that had a loose filling. She’s very nice and very friendly. I also had my teeth bleached by Gloria. They came out great and Gloria also makes sure she tells you everything you need to know before you start. She makes sure you are very comfortable. From my cleaning to redoing an old root canal, everyone in this office is awesome!!! I’ve never liked a dental office as much as I like Advanced Dental Arts. You’ll see, as soon as you walk in and meet the lovely ladies at the front desk, that you chose the best dental office in NYC.

This place looks quite nice and the dentists are very experienced. However what they did on billing was really bad. I've been seeing them for a few years in their mid town office. During 2016, they were closing down their mid town office and asked me to go to their downtown office. That's where all the headache came from. First of all, their billing department got the wrong annual maximum, off by $500. Secondly, they totally missed one of my visit to their midtown office when they told me the amount of money I need to pay out of pocket. Finally I end up getting a bill with $1000 and they are trying to do debt collection. If you want to visit somewhere fancy, go there but if you want somewhere trustworthy, try to avoid!

The office is conveniently located near the 8St downtown subway stop. It is extremely clean and high-tech. The staff is courteous and professional. I've had a phobia of the dentist since I was a little girl. Each visit to the dentist was a hurdle. You can imagine my excitement when Dr Bertman told me I had to have a wisdom tooth removed. The crew at advanced dental are amazing! Both Dr Bertman and her assistant were super patient with me during my tooth extraction. It was quick and painless! I was nervous for nothing.

I had an appointment at Advanced Dental Arts, on 09/10/2018, with Dr.Han Lyu for a multiple implant work. Prior to my appointment I sent my very recent x-rays to the office and got it confirmed with the front desk. Without looking at my x-rays and my file or asking me a question Dr.Lyu made comments and statemements about my teeth, gums and bones but the implants. When I reminded of my x-rays he went to the front desk and came back. Again he made comments and advices without using my x-rays claiming that he looked at them at the front desk. Even though Tiffany blue furnished office was elegant, the front desk and the assistant were friendly, I left the office where there was a lack of coordination and a dentist without compassion and professionalism.

Thank you to Dr Rivera who figured out my bite issue! For weeks, I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I finally saw Dr Rivera who pin pointed my issue almost immediately and fixed the problem. Not only is he excellent at what he does, but also military personnel. His caring and compassion for people shows through his work and chairside manner. Excellent addition to the practice ADA! The service offered by Advance Dental is surperb. I was in search for a modern but evasive dentist and I'm glad I was introduced to their office. When making my appointment, the receptionist (Sebastian) was pleasant and detailed. He was able to tell me if my insurance covered the services offered and was able to set me up with a date of my preference. Once I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly lady receptionist and a another lady (sorry I forgot her name) that led me to the room and informed me that a hygienist will be in shortly. The hygiene, Carlie (hope that's the correct spelling) was beyond professional and warm. She walked me through each step she did and alerted me when she noticed anything worthy of sharing lol. She throughly cleaned my teeth and I was pleased. I was then introduced to Dr. Elwood (hope that is the correct spelling) who examined my teeth once again and asked me questions regarding any other procedures offered there and what I would be interested in achieving long term. All in all, my visit was well worth it and I shall be visiting again.

Dr. Bertman and the entire staff at Advanced Dental Arts really made my visit a very pleasant and memorable experience. Right when I entered the office I was greeted by a group of cheerful ladies at the front desk which instantly relaxed me. I was then taken to my private room where I was introduced to Tatyana by the doctor. She did the actual cleaning and throughout the process she constantly checked up on me, gave me great recommendations on how to brush better and was just overall very lovely to talk to . After my cleaning, Dr Bertman sat with me to address my concerns and go over my X-rays. I was very impressed by state of the art techniques and technologies he used and had throughout the office. There was a very cool screen in front of me that allowed me to see things he wanted to go over which I appreciate. My time with him was very enjoyable- he was very funny , gentle and extremely knowledgeable about my case which quickly made me feel at ease. I am very happy I finally found a dental practice that makes me feel so comfortable and safe- I look forward to going back!

Dr. Bertman is by far the best dentist I've ever had. He truly cares about his patients and always follow up with me after each and every visit. His office is very clean and quiet and in a great location. The staff is professional and friendly from the front desk/waiting room to the Dentist's office to check-out. I always feel welcome and comfortable during my visits. Highly recommended!!

Dear Advanced Dental Arts! How I miss such a good, honest, and knowledgeable Dental Office! I was a patient for Nearly 3 years while living in NYC. I tried about 4 other dentists previous. None of them had such a nice, friendly and warm staff. There even were times when Dr. Bertman was unavailable and I had to see two other dentists (sorry- I can't remember the names!) but they both were equally as great. Hygenists were also very personable, down to earth and good to my teeth. I only wish I could find a dentist like you guys in Southern California now!

Most recently I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Kayvan Fathimani and it was a phenomenal experience. The procedure and recovery went smoothly and the team was available to help answer any questions I had following the surgery (shout out to Dr Bertman). They worked directly with my insurance immediately following and my claim was completed within a week. Definitely recommend not only for routine cleaning and check ins but any other procedures you may need.

I was referred to Advanced Dental Arts by a coworker and am so glad I took them up on the recommendation! Originally, I was seen by Dr. Anne Korkis to finish up a root canal that had been started a year prior at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. I went to WHMC for an emergency pulpotomy (I lived down the street at the time) and was told a full root canal would take at least 12 visits. I'm no dentist, but I knew this wasn't right. Sure enough, Dr. Korkis and an endodontist with Advanced Dental Arts fixed me up in one visit (minus my return to replace the temporary crown for the permanent). Insurance and payment for my pulpotomy at WHMC was an absolute nightmare, but the receptionist at ADA, Michelle, made it a dream. A few months later, I went back for a routine cleaning and pre-scheduled filling with Dr. Saloni Angar. Though I was nervous to have a different dentist at first, Dr. Angar soon put me at ease. She was thoughtful and answered all of my questions. A few weeks later, I was still having some discomfort with the tooth the filling had been applied to and Dr. Angar saw me on a Saturday afternoon to have a look. Folks, at the end of the day - this is the place to go. Their hours are great, their work is phenomenal, and most importantly - the way they treat their patients is top notch. They always greet me as if I'm family and I always know they are there to help.

I've been going to Advanced Dental Arts for about 3 years now for regular cleanings and x-rays. I have had nothing but positive experiences! The staff is friendly, attentive and always on top of things. They text or call to ensure that I don't miss appointments since they are typically made 6 months in advance. My last appointment with Dina was the best so far!!! I'm getting married in a few days and she was sure to give me the "pre wedding cleaning" which we came up with that day lol! She made sure not to miss a spot and buffed and shined the heck out of my teeth to ensure these pearly whites are wedding ready. I was referred to Dr.Bertman by my primary physician and on my initial visit I had a very good experience and have always enjoyed the cleanings I have had there. My issue and why I have not been back for quite a while is that I was passed from dentist to dentist and though I asked for specific appointments to be with Dr. Bertman I was given an appointment with him only one other time and then passed on to another dentist. It was a shame as the actual experience with him was a good one and I felt confident in his abilities.
