I just had a crown done and they did a terrific job. It fit perfectly the first time. My wife and I have been patients of this office for 20 years. We highly recommend them for all your dental needs. 11/11/15 Jenna, my hygienist, did her usual excellent job of cleaning my teeth, taking x-rays and recommending some future work needed to one of my teeth. Dr. Mosher, upon doing his examination, agreed with Jenna's diagnosis and I've scheduled an appointment for next February to get this work done. A professional job at an excellent dentist's office.

Pleasant Street Dental Associates is an amazing practice. Dr. Mosier and his entire staff work tirelessly to make the patients experience as great as possible. When you arrive for your appointment, you are met by a receptionist who is expecting you, knows your name and is obviously happy to work there. The Dental Hygienist is very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. The Dental Assistant is eager to ensure that your patient experience is as good as possible. Both Dr. Moser and Dr. Taft are, in my opinion, the best Dentists in the state of Maine. This practice employs the best and latest equipment and patient satisfaction is their highest priority. I was impressed with the info on their website, so I made an appointment for a cleaning and evaluation. This has to be the best, most thorough dental exam I've ever had. I scheduled an appointment shortly after moving into the area. On the day of my appointment, I received a call asking if I could come in 40 minutes early because the doctor was "running early." When I arrived, there were three patients in the waiting room and I overhead a member of the staff apologizing to someone for running late because it had been a hectic afternoon. After waiting about 20 minutes, the receptionist came out to tell me that the doctor was running late. I wasn't asked to come in because the doctor was running early, it was to avoid a break in his schedule because, after all, his time is important. I left and won't be back. Find a medical professional that treats you like a person, not like a head of cattle.

I find that both Dr. Moshier and the hygienists I've seen walk you through every step so you're never unsure of what's going on in your mouth. I've been going to Pleasant Street Dental since Dr. Moshier bought into the practice. He and his staff are so friendly and welcoming that you are really put at ease at the beginning of what can be, for many people, an experience they dread. No longer should you be afraid of the dentist. The hygienists are all knowledgeable and friendly, and very careful while working in your mouth. Dr. Moshier is genuinely invested in getting you the right care for whatever your needs may be. The equipment, and the office in general, is very bright and clean. I recommend Dr. Moshier to many people, and all who have taken my advice are happy with their decision. Pleasant Street Dental is also a supporter of the local fire department through equipment donation, as well as local youth sports sponsorship and other community engagement. They're really a great practice, and you won't regret making the decision to try a visit to their offices.

After driving by this very attractive bldg. on Pleasant St. for a number of years with a large parking area just steps to the door, I checked Dr. Moshier's credentials on Google as I was looking for a dentist. His credentials and his equipment led me to check him out personally. I was greeted at the desk in a welcoming manner in a gracious size waiting area Every thing looked sparkling clean. I followed up with a teeth cleaning and found the latest in digital equipment etc,. and Dr. Moshier and staff all quite affable. As an aside, I have to comment on even the stationery like folders and cards which are exceptional in this day of cheap stock. Awesome branding, awesome customer service at the front desk, Jill and Sophia are SO NICE! Great dental hygienists who are super knowledgeable. PSD uses the most high tech tools for new patients and bi-annual cleanings. They accept my Cigna insurance. Dr. Moshier is all about preserving your natural teeth and is NOT DRILL HAPPY and is NOT A SCAMMER. He told me I didn’t have cavities when places like Aspen Dental did. They watch any areas of concern and reevaluate over time but they never decide to do cavity work unless absolutely necessary. Love PSD!!!

My best dental experiences have all been with Pleasant Street Dental. Full disclosure: my issues are not super serious. A couple of crowns and a few cavities. But Pleasant Street Dental has been thorough, helpful, competent, kind and reassuring. I always know exactly what something is going to cost ahead of time, and it's always reasonable. Dr Moshier is fantastic, and Xoa and Jenna, the only two hygienists I have dealt with, are great (small, gentle, delicate hands - that's the key). I cannot recommend an outfit more highly than this friendly, clean, conveniently located dental practice. 2018 update: still the best!

The dentists and staff are pleasant and competent, the facilities and technology are fresh and up to date, and the business office is well run. I especially appreciate that after each visit I get precise, helpful instruction as to what I can do at home to help maintain my own oral health. After my visits, the great little goody bag of trial size products and a toothbrush is just the icing on the cake. And I always brush and floss after eating cake, per my hygienist's instruction... From the Reception to the Staff............... ALL are so Kind, Compassionate, Professional and immediately make you feel at home....... I had to cancel my prior Appointment the day of due to Illness. No problem at all..... They made sure that I was rescheduled, notifying me with possible times that would work for my Schedule. It is amazing how organized they are and truly go out of their way to accommodate the Patient. Swa did an amazingly thorough job with my Cleaning unlike other past Dental Experiences have ever provided for me. She makes sure that I am most comfortable throughout the entire Cleaning. Now, I am sad I will have to choose another dental practice because this practice no longer participate with Martin's Point Advantage Insurance. I needed a new dentist AND had developed a rather severe toothache, so I called next door to Pleasant St. Dental Associates and asked for an appointment and if they were accepting new patients. From the receptionist's warmth and efficiency to the relative speed in which I was seen (48 hrs later, which is a lot better than many others) the first impression was positive. When I actually went in for the appointment I was amazed at how a seemingly modest, "average" dental building transformed itself into a state-of-the-art facility! I was seen within 10" of my arrival, first by Kerry-the hygienist, then by Dr. Moshier himself. The x-rays and exam revealed a problem and I was offered two treatment options with financial estimates for each. I was placed on an antibiotic as I opted NOT to go to an oral surgeon for the extraction I chose, and when I checked out I was informed of my coverage, the expected claim processes, and information on BOTH my possible coverages! The clinic, the staff, the dentist and the overall experience was just exceptional and I'm pleased to continue as a client at PSD (my abbreviation).
