The staff is always friendly. Which comes in handy if your that mom that's always late. Just transferred from the caramel valley location to the Kearny Mesa location and I gotta admit that I'm so glad to see consistency in the employees they employe in their business. My kids (6 & 4 ) really loved the Carmel valley location and couldn't stop asking why we moved offices. But when they saw that it was just the same they were happy. I'm sad to move but it's been a huge pleasure, I will be happy to highly recommend. Thanks

This place is amazing. My 4 yr old son was seen here with lots of work that needed to be done. He had several cavities and a few were worse than some. He is very hyper and does not sit down. He went to another Dentist prior to here and I will never go back. She was impatient and did not take the time to treat him like the dentist did here. The staff was amazing and all the DA's were pleasant and knowledgeable! Insurance only covers so much and I was able to still afford my sons care today because they weren't charging me for things that a patient shouldn't have to pay for, such as dental health information. Yes, the prior dentist tried to bill me 160.00 for handing me a pamphlet. I will definitely stay with this office.

Always on time, literally get everything kids need done during their exams (cleaning, stays, extractions, spacers, sealants, etc) without having to make another appt. Cassandra is AMAZING with my kids and always makes sure we get what's needed during our visits. She is great with my kids, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this office!

Worst dentist I've been too. They make an appointment then tell you when you show up that they can't do what your scheduled for. And worst was having my teeth changed while they watch TV so unprofessional to have them stop what they are suppose to be doing to watch TV! Never again will I come here!

Issues left and right with them. Asked for office manager to call me back in September and still haven't heard back from anyone in the office. Every time I call, I'm either on hold for over 20 minutes before someone picks up or I never get a call back (left several voicemails this week alone). They charge to email you your own medical records and take up to 15 days to transfer anything over to the new dentist. For as much as they claim to be child oriented, they do not respect a patient's screams of pain during extractions and simply attribute this to "overreacting" instead of their own incompetence at numbing patient's gums. We've tried 2 locations thinking it was staffing, but it seems to just be their policies overall.

Super Dentists, you are NOTHING like what your name describes, you are PHENOMENAL...THANK YOU! I was a bit nervous about taking my toddler children here after their first experience with another dentist was a complete disaster. This place was, however, amazing! My children loved it from the moment we arrived and they found their own little door to enter the office. The waiting room was wonderful and provides a warm and inviting atmosphere to any child nervous about going to the dentist. The staff at the front desk was very helpful, kind, and courteous! We quickly went back for our scheduled appointment. My children were apprehensive at first, but bravely sat in the chair while they had their teeth checked and cleaned. Again, the staff was very patient, kind, and informative about everything that was happening, and took that extra step to make sure my children felt safe and secure. Anyone thinking about or searching for a new dentist...this is THE ONE to choose! They are absolutely the best. They know how to work well with children. They're knowledgeable and professional...and I will never take my children anywhere else. ALWAYS, always check reviews! Had I checked the previous dentists reviews, I would have noticed the dentist I first took my children to had a rating of 2.9 (or the equivalent of an F), while the Super Dentist have a rating on Google of 4.5 (or the equivalent of an A). Once again...THANKYOU, SUPER DENTISTS!!!

This is just terrible. They are all friendly and good service at the very end and terrible. They put a crown and gave a guarantee that everything would be ok. The crown fell out after 5 months and the tooth simply died. Think about the importance of service or your health.

Had an amazing experience my princess Bella got to dress up as ariel and staff was absolutely outstanding...my daughter is special needs and she allowed xrays and cleaning to be done only because of amazing assistant as well as Dr Johovan they were friendly and adapted to her needs... will be coming back. Worst service ever I wouldn't even give them 1 star made an appointment for my 4 year old with pain in her molar about 10 days ago for treatment bc she was in a lot of pain I told them to please allow enough time for treatment , I bring her in they do an exam and tell yes she needs treatment but can't do anything for her today ,bc we are really booked . Really!!! Your just going to send us on are way with my 4 year old in pain this is unheard of why did I schedule an appointment , I speak to the orthodontist manager and was no help actually she was talking to me like I was some kind of idiot . Never Never going back here ever oh did I mention that when I brought my daughter in before and had fillings put in that fell out days after we're put in by dental assistant not the dentist the dentist does do any of the work it's all the dental assistant job I've never seen this before

I never thought my child wouldnt want to leave the dentist. I always have to make sure i make extra time so my son can play in the waiting area after his appointment. The staff is great and caring. They know how to work with young ones. And I myself love the srarbucks station. Great place!

I was excited to take both my sons to this Dentist since they market to kids and I assumed the experience would be incredible and the attention to detail would be phenomenal but I was mistaken. The staff barely spoke during check in and also during the x-rays. The actual cleaning itself for each child lasted maybe 5 minutes at most. I seriously felt like this office was conducted similar to an assembly line. This was completely opposite to any dentist I had been to before. When Dr. Jessica Manske, Dds came in to examine both my boys teeth and to discuss the x-rays, it was like pulling teeth (no pun intended). I felt like I was asking all the questions without Dr. Manske educating me as a mom on the care or lack of care my children were taking on their teeth. They were quick to recommend sealants on all 8 teeth (4 on bottom and 4 on top) for both boys. They printed out the estimated invoice for each child and asked when I wanted to schedule the follow up. I was advised my insurance only paid for 1 sealant and the rest were $10 each. These sealants were for their baby teeth so I wanted to do a little research before I committed to this. I reached out to a family member who is a Dental assistant as well as my dentist of whom both advised sealants were only recommended on Permanent teeth. I took my son in for a second opinion with my dentist. I requested the x-rays that were done be emailed over to my dentist since my insurance only covers 1 set of x-rays per year. Once the x-rays were finally emailed over to the new dentist they were unclear and could not be used. Amazingly my dentist took 2 new x-rays of my sons teeth and did not charge me for them at all. He did 3 of 4 sealants on my sons molars which were all covered under my dental plan. I will not be returning to this practice as I feel they are just out for money and my sons are just another case number.

Usually I have the best experience here. Today was way out of normal. We arrived a before our appointment time but we didn’t get called back until 15min after the appointment time. Then it took so long to get both kids through. Usually we are in and out so quickly. They must’ve been busy because we were back there for at least 30 min. Everyone was nice though.

The Super Dentist is cute and all but it’s just that. All surface. They went all out on making it look and feel like Chuck E. Cheese but the people suck a bit. The receptionist at check in didnt even acknowledge my other insurances. She said later and only took one. The DA didn’t even explain anything to my 14 yr old or walk him thru the sealant process. I guess I’m not really surprised. DO NOT BRING your child with Autism if they sensory issues. This places is so flipping loud. The grown up music trying to drown out the loud tv’s and vice versa. I asked if they do any sensory appts for persons with Autism but the girl looked at completely clueless. I mean if you’re going to deal with so many children, try educating yourselves a bit on special needs. I have had 5 kids and have been to many different dentists. Stick to your holes in the walls for genuine kindness and compassion and over all care. Skip the “glitter”. Not worth it. Needless to say, I couldn’t get out of the Super Dentist fast enough!! (To top it off, they let you figure out the way out onnyour own without escorting you or guiding you. My kid had to find the way out for us) I will definitely NOT be returning.

I take my kids to see the dentist every six months, we recently moved to San Diego and needed a new dentist. My son saw a commercial for The Super Dentist and actually asked to go there. I loved the idea of him WANTING to go to the Dentist. Out first visit we are told my 6 year-old son had two cavities. I was shocked, we had never had a cavity before and I felt awful we had slipped up with caring for his teeth. We were also told that both my 6 year old and my 4 year old should have sealant put on their teeth to protect against future cavities. I trusted the “professionals” and after everything was said and done ended up paying over $450 out of pocket for this visit. The total bill was somewhere near $2,000 (As a side note we were charged a fee for “dental education”? Because they told us to brush twice a day..?!) So needless to say, six months later I decided it might be better to take them to a different place, I made my decision after lots of research and many customer reviews. I figured since they did so well, maybe we didn’t necessarily need all the glitz and kid-glam. After the images were taken (because even after signing the release form and sending multiple messages The Super Dentists failed to send records). Two x-rays confirmed the existence of a cavity beneath one of the fillings the Super Dentist has placed, and the second filling they placed had broken. They explained that it was not possible to form a new cavity in that spot, and reccomended I request them to fix it. They also informed me that the reason I had to pay out of pocket for the sealant was because the insurance company knows it isn’t beneficial for baby teeth. They offered to fix the damage done, but said they would have to charge me (and it would be out of pocket) they said “The Super Dentist should want to fix their mistake, and not leave a patient like that”. That couldn’t be further than the truth. I made the appointment explaining why we needed to be seen and asked if they would like the images sent over, they told me no. I checked in, the day of the appointment, and again asked if they needed the images, they said no. They took us back, I again had to explain the reason for our visit and offered the images.. they said no. They took their own X-Rays. They told me I was expected to pay for the “exam” portion of our visit and if the Dentist had an “alternative diagnosis” we would be expected to pay for the treatment as well. I refused. I repeated the information given to me by the other dentist we had seen and I explained that I had offered the X-rays many times. I didn’t want the exam, they did. And of course the Dentist did have “alternative diagnosis”. She told me that my son had developed a new cavity “probably because we weren’t flossing”. I argued my case and she agreed to fix it free of charge, even though it definetly wasn’t their oversight..?! When she left to explain to the financial department the arrangement, the dental hygienist shared with me that upon looking at the original X-rays “diagnosing a cavity would have been impossible” she explained that in the image no shading could be seen and the overlapping teeth prevent the image from being capable of showing a cavity. Later, the discussion of the broken filling came up the Dentist explains that when you floss to hard you can break a filling. I don’t understand how we could “not be flossing” and also “flossing to hard” at the same time. She showed/ explained that I was to put the floss between the teeth and gently slide the whole string out. I’ve NEVER heard of this and I’m pretty sure nobody else teaches to floss this way. The bottom line is they’re a business looking to make the most money they can. And apparently it doesn’t matter if that means hurting kids physically and hurting hard-working parents financially. I chose The Super Dentists because I didn’t want my kids to be afraid of the Dentist.. and I’m afraid this visit has traumatized us all. Can you imagine them being gentle on my son after all this?

The hygenist was communicating with him the whole process, and ensuring he was as comfortable as possible during a routine. He is a toddler, being two is really rare to enjoy the dentists, but this place has such good experience with kids that he let them do whatever they needed. In the end that’s what matters, he’s happy and healthy. Def found his dentist.

I had a 7am appointment for my 3 children we were in shortly after arriving . My kids were all taken in at same time and the technicians were super sweet and not super young ladies fresh out of school. I liled that . The dentist was very kind and cared that my kids not be traumatized and rather they gain trust . That meant a lot . I thought it was very clean and the billing department gave me a print out of cost for future visit and breakdown . Great experience overall .

They are the worst, charged for a procedure I asked them not to do. My boyfriend took my son in and they had him pay for something I didn’t want done. Super shady I do not recommend this place seems like it’s just about the money. I had talked to them yesterday about what would be done for his scheduled appointment they let me know no other procedure would be done than what he was going there for. So I called as he was on the table while I’m at work and my fb and son are there wondering why he was asked to pay 125.00 he paid it because they told him they couldn’t do anything until payment. I’m so disappointed and honestly furious. I had them stop doing what they were doing and asked for a refund. I do not recommend them. May 30th,2018

We had our second appointment at the Super Dentist on Aero Drive in San Diego. It was great. My son loves going to the dentist now! What a great environment for kids. A good mix of games, play areas and learning activities for kids to explore while you wait to see the dentist. The starbucks coffee is an added plus for the adults. Took my 13 month old daughter here for her first check up & I love this place! I was recommended by a friend & I’m glad I came here. Very fun environment for kids, loved the Starbucks coffee & hot chocolate machine, and the TV’s playing cartoons/kid shows which helped keep my daughter occupied while waiting. The people who work here are very nice & answered any questions I had. I was also expecting to be waiting for awhile, but we were in and out in less than an hour which I was very happy about. My daughter did NOT like having her teeth examined/cleaned but they were very patient & gentle with her. Quick & thorough service. Knowldegable staff. EXTREMELY loud facilities. My son has never had a problem with dentists, but even he was nervous here. Headphones would be ideal for the kids tvs, rather than having all tvs on different channels with volume blasting while songs are playing in the hallways. Overall, decent experience.

Super dentist was “super”. The Kearny Mesa location was very clean and just like the pictures online. The toy store is by a point system sort of like Chuck E. Cheese. Your child gets points for being on time and even you can earn point for your child. We got 74 points in one visit and walk away with a cool prize! I truly was blown away by the professionalism and cleanliness. 5 stars. Would recommend to all of my friends!

I booked an appointment for a first visit using the online system through the Super Dentist website. I chose an 8:40 am appointment. At 8:05, I received a call from the office, and her comment was “your appointment is at 8. Is that still happening?” Which I felt was snippy. I told her I selected an 8:40 appointment, but regardless would be there momentarily. When I arrived, I apologized for the miscommunication, and showed her my phone with the 8:40 appointment confirmation. She waved it away without looking and told me “I don’t know anything about that system. We don’t even take 8:40 appointments. It’s wrong.” At this point, I ALMOST considered leaving. Being rude, snippy and impatient with a new client is not the way to start. But, knowing my son needed a lot of work, and soon, I stayed. Everyone behind the front desk, meaning the doctors, assistants and dental hygienists were beyond amazing with my anxious son, all through his procedures the following Monday. They were incredible, and the only reason I’ll return. Also, the call center is horrible. I was on hold for over 30 minutes each time, and the call back feature never called me back. If it weren’t for the back office staff, I doubt I’d be back. But even after his work, my son likes this office the best, so I’ll give it one more shot.

Our third time visiting Super Dentists, first time was at the Carmel Valley location and the last two times at the Serra Mesa location. The dentist here seem to always be in a rush, and there seems to be a lack of communication between the dentists, assistants, billing staff, and appointment staff. The last time I asked the dentist to spend a bit of time with my son to educate him better about teeth hygiene, she tells him “remember to brush your teeth” and they charged us a hygiene education fee! They also did a couple of fillings for my daughter. Today we walked out letting the staff know that we will be seeking treatment elsewhere, as the dentist total lack of ownership of that previous work was the last straw. The dentist clearly messed up those previous fillings that made it hard to floss between the teeth (the hygiene assistant had to use a poker to go between the teeth) and another filling needed to be crowned due to a cavity forming underneath the filling.... that’s shoddy and rushed work! When we brought up those facts, the dental hygiene assistant seemed to think it was reasonable, but the dentist didn't have much to say and walked out - and the billing assistant wanted to charge us an EXTRA fee to fix it! I’d much rather pay another place to start over than give this filling factory another cent! We shouldn’t have come back a third time but we are really trying to find a good dentist for our kids.... Look elsewhere!

We had them put sealant on my son's teeth and he didnt like it at all and put up a fight. The hygienist was very patient and tried her best to go as fast as she could. And she kept making sure I was okay with everything. The office is very kid friendly and even after my son getting upset he is still excited to go back again.

I don’t remember the dentist’s name but she was Hispanic and she seemed rushed when she came over to do the check up on my 2 year olds mouth. He was crying and upset because he didn’t want her hands in his mouth so she insisted on using what looked like giant tweezers to hold his mouth open so he couldn’t close it. I was already uncomfortable with it but she said it’d be quick. Well my son began coughing and still crying and I kept saying he didn’t like it and before I knew it he threw up on himself and me. Then after I cleaned him up and tried to calm him down she actually wanted to continue with the check up and I said no! He does NOT like that. We will have the assistant clean his teeth and we’re done.

This is for the appointment scheduling, mainly. We called and enrolled over the phone and made an appointment 2 months ahead only to find out that we were never scheduled and we came an hour before they were even opened for the day. I was frustrated but we were able to be seen as soon as they opened. I had a baby with me so it wasn't easy getting up early and getting ready just to be rescheduled for a later time. I did get the problem solved easily and the cleaning was great though.

This is the first time they come in to this location. This is way closer to our home than the other ones. They are so clean and nice. And the bathroom is actually in the office. the other location has their bathroom outside of the office and it is very inconvenient to let my kids go to the bathroom. I love it so far and it is just more animated and calm. This is will be my new location!

I arrived at the Kearny Mesa location at 6:45 AM. The ladies at the front desk were soooooo friendly. I was seated shortly after giving my paperwork. Adrian cleaned my son's teeth and he was fabulous!! He explained everything step-by-step to both me and my son. He even gave us a free Super Dentist movie at the end. My son loves this place in comparison to the old practice we went to.

I would've left a 5 star review except for the fact that the dentist used wet paper to rinse my 10 month old mouth after brushing so we left not realizing he bit off a big chunk of the paper and was chewing it. Luckily we were able to pry it from his mouth before he choked or swallowed it. Suggestion would be to use a wet cloth instead.

A few friends recommended this place for my toddlers. I have a 2 and 4 years old. First time to the dentist here. Made appointments for both at the same time. Front service is horrible! The staffs were rude! Talks back and not willing to help. The dental service is great. They have their ways with kids; but needs training at the front customer service end. The insurance verification and billing department, don’t get me started with them. They will try to make money off of you. My 2 years old only needed cleaning while my 4 years old had a few cavities. I have dual dental coverage and they still try to find a ways to charge me up front out of pocket first; although there is no copay or deductible with my coverage! They said I have to pay up front some costs “just in case Insurance won’t covered”. BS. Horrible when it comes to hours on the phone and finally my insurance does cover for everything. The amount of time dealing with that is painful. Horrible horrible service at this dental place! Just be extra extra careful and look at the service and your bills, because they will double or overcharged you.

We had the funnest time at the dentist today! We went to TheSuperDentists for my twins' first dentist appointment. They have games, dress up, toys, crafts, hot chocolate (coffee and tea) for the parents, tv's during their cleaning, everything. The twins didn't cry during the cleaning but cried when we had to leave. We are currently watching the dvd they gave us about their super heros fighting cavities haha. Seriously the coolest place ever. I would highly recommend it!

This place was amazing for my child. It was her first appointment but the atmosphere was fun and calmed her fears. The receptionist and dental assistant did such a great job answering any questions and worked with my daughter(which is not an easy feat) so well! She left feeling great and actually wants to visit the dentist again! The inside is really inviting and fun for children. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone with children.

They charge $100 for Behavior Management extra per session.. and they don’t inform you. I had no idea I was charged $200 for something that wasn’t even applicable to our situation, my son didn’t even get strapped down. I called to complain and they refunded my money. They also treat you like an assembly line, you feel like a number when you finally meet the dentist. Lastly, the codes they use are extremely expensive. They coded me incorrectly and my bill racked up sooner than it should have. From the outside they look super nice, however, once you get in there you’ll notice it wasn’t the best choice for your child. There are plenty of places that still have “fun children items” with a “magical theme”. I never make bad reviews, but in this case I am really shocked.

Both my boys and I came in today for the first time. The staff was very welcoming and took great care of us all. Obviously my youngest didn't care for the dentist, but my eldest said he enjoyed his time and can't wait to go back. I myself even enjoyed my time. Can not put me words about how amazing and FANTASTIC this place is. Bright, colorful and a mini magical land. All the staff was super friendly and interactive with all the kids. I took my 15 month old for his first checkup and he had a blast. By far the BEST dental office I've ever been to. If you have children this should be the place you take them to. From the assistants to the dentists even to the receptionists they all are friendly and super helpful. I cannot say enough about how awesome this place is

The worst experience ever!!! I took my 3 year old to the super dentist to have some dental work done. We decided it would be best to have her put to sleep so she wasn't traumatized by the treatment. The day after the treatment she walked up and handed me her resin crown. When I called and told them what happened to the Crown they scheduled an appointment a few days later to see the same dentist, Dr Javdan. that did the treatment a few days before. When we arrived for the appointment I made it very clear that I wanted to speak with the dentist first To discuss any options that were available. When Dr. Javdan came back to talk to me I asked if the crown needed to be replaced, because if it was only for looks I would rather not put my daughter through the trauma of having to be held down to have anymore dental work done. That's the whole reason I paid the money for the anesthesiologist in the first place. she Stated that the tooth needed to be crowned to prevent any decay to the tooth, and she had a different porcelain crown than the one she used in the original treatment. We walked my daughter back and the doctor drilled on her while I helped hold her down for about 30 minutes. She then attempted to place the crown, which fell out as soon as my daughter sat up. When that happened Dr. Javdan got up and nodded at the assistant and then walked out of the room. The assistant then told me that they were going to give my daughter a break. After about 20 minutes the assistant came back in and left a silver crown for me to look at and think about. This was going on my daughters k9 tooth and I was opposed to silver. Then 20 more minutes later the assistant came back in again and told me the Doctors other option was to not put a crown on the tooth and to leave it the way it was. I was confused and in shock because this was my request from the very beginning. We left there with half a tooth less than we walked in with and 30 minutes of trauma in the chair that never needed to happen. They have refused to give me my money back and are not taking any accountability for their actions. This place is a joke...

Our appointment hadn’t been transferred over like it was supposed to be. He was an Eastlake patient but the new location is closer to our home. They still got us in quickly, worked well with my son. He was a total trooper and acted like the dentist is no big deal at all! Almost 4 years old and no cavities! We were recommended to get some sealants due to few molar grooves. I looked up the procedure to make sure this was something my son might need and I’ll be making that appointment! I’ll be paying out of pocket but the prices are completely reasonable. My son earned 14 points today! We love the super dentists!

This company is nothing more than a sad example of how bad pediatric dentists are (all locations in San Diego). The staff is rude and they will lie to you and I encourage everyone who continues to go to question all fees that are being charged including “behavioral management fee” that they charge for a “nervous kid” or “every kid” even before ever doing treatment and then justify the fee after putting your child in a jacket that doesn’t allow them to move resulting in a traumatic experience in which your child will always be scared of the dentist there after. Money hungry is the owners who push these fees and unnecessary treatments. STAY AWAY and do your research even on medi-cal you can find a good pediatric dentist that won’t do all of the bad business that the super dentist does

A few of the people there try to be nice, but our overall impression of the place is that they are a money machine that over-drills, over-fills and over-recommends treatments like sealants all in the name of profit. Our eldest child (4yo then) went through what was a horrifying experience for her to get sealants on 6 of her back teeth. They literally had to straitjacket her to get to done. I was skeptical at the time, but decided that if it prevented cavities it might be worth it. Well, the next visit the very same teeth end up with two cavities anyway. It wasn't so much the expense, as it was introducing our child to the dentist in such a terrifying manner that bothered me so much; all for no benefit in the end.

The service here is phenomenal. They were kind and helpful. We got appointments quickly and the call back time was rapid. The only issue we had with them was scheduling. There was a misunderstanding about parental dentist locations. Apparently they only do adult dentistry certain days, and I was scheduled at a location much further away. It was very easy to reschedule, and the receptionists were very patient. Definitely worth waiting for if the service is this good.

I have had an awful experience with this Dentist. I refuse to go back. They did their normal routine everything was fine, until a week after I recieve a steep bill for an xray Next I call their financial line every day for week and every time I’m asked to leave a message that won’t go through due to them having a full inbox so it’s impossible to reach them. I finally reached someone through the website who agreed to a partial refund because they didn’t know about the 6 year rule well she was supposed to call me back after talking to the manager so fast forward a week and a half later no call so I call back. The next lady was so rude and snapped at me to take it up with my insurance knowing good and well on record the lady I talked to before was supposed to give me a partial refund due to them not knowing about the 6 year rule for the X-ray either so needless to say I’m ticked that I spent $97 out of pocket for something they didn’t get my permission on.

Colorful fun atmosphere, that makes my kids want to come back and makes them excited to visit the dentist. their point system is also super cool and I appreciate how it motivates my kids to take care of their dental health. UNFORTUNATELY, We have had trouble here with billing. I made my children appointments on the same day but an hour apart in time. They brought my children in at the same time and while I was with one child they preformed X-rays and procedures that were unexpected and not approved by me. Then when I was with the other kid, they did the same thing with the original child. I wasn't aware of the procedures done until I got the bill for hundreds of dollars more than expected. They acknowledged that they had made mistakes, promised to instigate training to make sure this didn't happen again and canceled the bill. *UPDATE* This place takes more x-rays, than any other dentist we've used (they took bitewings than a full panorama x-ray in the same visit). In addition they now charge an extra $100 for any pediatric treatments...because they're a children's dentists, so you should pay an extra $100. Check your billing every time! So far we like the orthodontist side, but I believe will be discontinuing both our adult and pediatric dentistry services with them.

My son had a little fear and hard time to go but thanks to the friendly environment and nice staff that made his experience the best. Very bad with the phone services, call them and stay for one hour on the line and listen to their foolish stories. I never saw anywhere like this. This is the very bad way to announce your business. Our kiddo knocked her front tooth loose. Our regular dentist is further away so we figured we’d call and see if we could get an appointment here. They were able to squeeze us in within the hour. Nothing prepared us for how overwhelming this place is. Very loud TVs and music. We walked into the treatment area and there was a kid being held down by his parent & screaming bloody murder. Almost every kid was screaming bloody murder. We’ve been to other pediatric dentists before and have never heard so much crying before. A kiddo walked out with the bloodiest gauze I’ve ever witnessed. The customer service was underwhelming. The dental hygienist was the least friendly. It didn’t appear as they were happy to work there. The dentist was ok. She talked fast and barely explained anything. Pros: coffee in waiting room.

My kids have been going to the Super Dentist for over 12 yrs, Chula Vista then Eastlake. They opened up in Kerney Mesa and I decided since it is closer I'll start taking them there. Every time I've set an appointment for my children I call in to main line, state the reason for the appt. Yet, when I get to the appt, the reason is always something other than what was needed. Also, I have requested many times for my children's files to be sent to them from Eastlake and Today, like the Other times, they did not have the child I brought in, Treatment file. I live in East County, If I call to set an appt for a specific Treatment, It would be nice if they were prepared by the time we arrived and NOT try to reschedule me. I never had this issue until We started going to the Kerney Mesa location.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I hope this reaches out to anyone that is thinking about going to this place. Here are the things to watch out for: 1) The extra fees. They will charge a lot of extra fees due to being a "specialized" dentist office ($75 fee each visit not covered by insurance). 2) Horrible treatment. My family went there and the whole treatment was rushed as they were tightly booked. The actual dentist came and talked to me for less than 20 seconds about the current status of my children's teeth. The x-ray's were taken within 60 seconds (10 x-rays)...insane and hurt my children. 3) A good friend of mine work's at a Dentist who get's referrals from the Super Dentist all the time. I cannot tell you the amount of times where the patients came from the Super Dentist and the work was not done correctly, or even hidden. ***Example*** A group of 3 siblings came into from a referral from the Super Dentists due to a procedure being done already but needs additional work done on the tooth. The children had 3 caps/crowns done. When my Dentist friend took off the cap/crown on all 3 children, the tooth wasn't repaired whatsoever and their gum was so infected that it will affect their teeth for the rest of their life. This dentistry tries to cut corners and spend their majority of time on marketing through "super hero's" and local contracts through schools to come and present how "cool" their dentistry is. Look at the cold hard facts and not their pre-paid reviews. DON'T GO HERE!!!

This place is terrible I should have known to turn back when I attempted to even make the appointment. The lady I spoke with to make an appointment was completely unfamiliar with what a lip tie even was. I went on hold so she could let me talk to her supervisor in hopes she was more trained...that led to me being hung up on. Called back, waiting 15 minutes to get someone on the phone, hung up, and then someone called back saying "oh it looks like we missed a call from this number" That lady was more properly trained and made me feel a little better about following through with an appointment. Fast forward to next day, appointment time. Arrived at office early, didn't wait for too long, before being greated by a women with half of her head shaved, facial piercings, and asks me if I was here for the tongue tie. Really? I corrected her and reminded her that it was the lip. She takes us back to a chair and says she needs to take a photo for the doctor. She started trying to take a photo of my daughters bottom lip, I reminded her it was the top. Camera wasn't working so she had to ask my son to do it from the computer while she held the camera. Before she was finished, a doctor strolls over, does not introduce herself to me, puts on gloves and goes straight to my daughters mouth. She asks me if I breast feed, and then says "yeah we need to cut" while motioning scissors cutting with her fingers. Then walks away. The girl that took us back says to me "we'll call you to see what doctor can do this" so no one apparently in this office is familiar with what their dentists are capable of doing. This visit was also going to be my daughters first check up, after the interaction or lack there of I should say, i did not let them do anything else to my daughter. I informed them during the appointment scheduling that we already knew of the lip tie and have been seen at ENT. We were choosing to have a dentist perform the procedure because of the laser method. After this, I'll be going to an out of network dentist and pay out of pocket. This place is a joke.
