I'm a big fan of coffee. I'm a bigger fan of fresh, properly roasted coffee. Hands down, King David is the best beans I've found. I'd say best beans ever, but that sounds a bit of hyperbole. But seriously folks, these beans are fantastic. You can not go wrong with the value of this fine product.
BEST COFFEE EVERRRR!!! I Found this place by mistake as I had been looking for a coffee shop after leaving a nearby interview, And when I read the reviews I thought I would check it out and I'm so glad I did! I bought that delicious Maple flavored coffee and a medium roast. There is nothing like locally roasted perfect tasting coffee and supporting small business! The prices are beyond reasonable, he could charge a lot more for this delicious coffee!
I stopped by King David Coffee for the first time today and will definitely be back. First, the smell in there is fantastic! It's a no frills kind of place where you walk right into the roasting room. The owner Sam greeted me and was very welcoming. He clearly takes pride in roasting great coffee and providing exceptional customer service. He also makes kettle corn too. I didn't buy any this time but Sam kindly sent me off with a tasty sample. I ended up buying a pound of Colombia Huila and a pound of Kabbalah Koffee for $27.50 total. Pretty good pricing for freshly roasted and ground beans. I made the Kabbalah as soon as I got home and it is delicious... smooth and bright but ending with dark notes. If you're in Nashua, definitely check this place out!
Really nice employee! Stopped in and got a bag of coffee AND kettle corn!
Great coffee and good customer service, Sam Brest puts a personal touch on the sales experience.
Always a treat! Just got my latest shipment of King David Coffee Roasters coffee, to give as gifts which are always special, and a reward for me! Can't wait to French press that espresso, it smells so good! I love being able to get my own labels printed, too!
After not being happy with the coffee I was having I decided to search for a local roaster. I found King David coffee and took a ride to the shop. It was the best thing I've done concerning coffee, it was a pleasure to speak with Sam, and the first bag of coffee has been the best coffee I've ever had. I'm looking forward to making regular trips to try all the different beans and roasts.
I recently moved to the area and found King David through an online search. I walked in this morning and Sam greeted me, showed around his roasting setup, and talked to me about his process and his love of coffee. I picked up a bag of the Tanzania Peaberry to bring home and it is fantastic. Sam doesn't advertise or have a fancy café. This helps keep overhead down so he can sell amazing coffee at a very affordable price ($13 for a 16 oz bag). I'll definitely be returning to King David to try some of the other single origin offerings.
Very personable, wonderful coffee and service
Highly recommended! Fantastic smell and taste, fresh and fairly priced! I know that when I order my coffee beans; I will be receiving coffee that was roasted no more than 3 days ago (often roasted within hours of receiving the order!). Sam, the owner, also tries very hard to keep the roasting times and temps the same for that consistent taste. You won't be disappointed. If you are local and call hours ahead; you can usually meet the owner and receive a personal tour or buy direct. Also note: He sells very high quality brewing equipment! Take a look. I prefer light roasts and so I love and highly recommend the Ethiopian Mocha Harrar. The downside: Your local "chain" coffee shops and basic "office/work supplied" coffee just won't do ...ever again!
I admit it. I'm a coffee snob. I brew my coffee by weight, water volume and National Coffee Association recommended water temperature. But what is all the fuss for if you can't find premium, freshly roasted coffee? Well, no Starbucks for me. If you, too, want to brew a great cup of coffee with perfect aroma and body then buy your coffee from King David. Every bag of beans is fresh and perfectly roasted and the prices are more than reasonable. I have been buying from the King ( aka Sam Brest) for more than six years. I wouldn't buy my coffee any where else.
Only place to buy fresh, high quality, affordable coffee! Fresh: time since roasting is usually measured in HOURS, not weeks, months, or "unknown". High quality: start with high quality beans before roasting, and you'll end up with high quality coffee in your cup. Affordable: They still sell a 16oz pound, not the 12oz "pound" bag that other roasters pass off as a "pound"...compare the prices per ounce, and don't get fooled by the size of the bag.
Sam creates excellent coffee; that is all there is to it! Can't beat the prices for delicious micro-roasted beautiful beans. I refuse to drink anything else; I served it at my wedding!
I'm a self admitted coffee snob. Finding King David Coffee locally in NH a few years back fully satisfied my snobbery. Every month like clock work, I get fresh roasted Sumatra Mandheling, or occasionally, Celebes Kalossi just for a change. I could not recommend their coffee more highly.
Very good, perhaps the best light to medium roast available. Good quality whole beans and a uniform roast. At these prices a very good value.
I have ordered multiple types of fresh roasted coffee beans and a coffee bean grinder from Sam at King David Coffee and could not be happier with either. The coffee was delivered quickly and tasted great (I live all the way down in Florida and still go out of my way to order from Sam). Sam was knowledgeable and helpful on the phone prior to my order. I had some issues with my grinder (that were not caused by Sam), but he went above and beyond what was expected to make sure my issues were resolved. King David Coffee has my highest recommendation.
We consider ourselves coffee aficionados (we have 7 coffee makers...) Our favorite coffee is our King David Celebes Kalosi, which we grind ourselves and French Press every Sunday morning - highly recommended. We discovered this on a trip to Nashua, and now have it shipped to our home in Seattle.
I'm not sure what is better; the amazing coffee or Sam's willingness to go above and beyond excellence in customer service. By far the best coffee we have ever had. We have it shipped very month and will NEVER buy coffee anywhere else again. He allowed us to see his operation while in NH and it is clear that you are getting unbelievably fresh roasted coffee from someone who loves and excels at his craft!
The owner/operator was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great Coffee Roaster. A coffee roaster not a cafe Very friendly and knowledgeable Really enjoying the espresso blend he made for me on the spot. Great prices. Freshly roasted.
San's coffee is the best quality under $10/pound you will find on planet earth. I cringe and worry about mankind's future when I see the line of people waiting to spend $3 a cup at the drive thru. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts coffee is to Sam's, what a Hungry Man Salisbury steak is to a bone-in dry aged rib-eye.
Great coffee from a local roaster.
Great selection of coffees. Sam's attention to roasting detail is reflected by the great flavors. And the price is right!
Got out of work early and heard great things about this place so I wanted to stop by and see if I could find myself a new local roaster. Looked at the site got the address and went over to the shop . Hours on the site state 9-5 Monday threw Friday I got there 3:45 pm. I mean I get it's Friday and all and people want to close a little early however, over a hour early is a bit much. Maybe I'll give them another shot but don't know don't want to waste my time twice. Really disappointed about this.
So smooth so good.
you guys are the best
EXCELLENT coffee. Well worth it! I've ordered from them many times.
King David coffee is some of the best hand roasted coffee I have ever tried, for a very fair price. I enjoy making the trip to Nashua, NH when I can, but if not, he ships it and it's there in a couple days. Try the Celebes Kalossi!
Best whole bean decaf coffee I've ever tasted. If you can find this place in an odd, almost industrial building off of Bridge Street, your efforts will be well-rewarded. Follow the smell of coffee and maple sugar.
Great single origin coffee, at a great price. Have been going here for a while now and love it!
Excellent coffee and prices
Couple top-tier coffee beans with roasting perfection...add superlative customer service/shipping with outrageously low prices, stir, shake, and you've got the recipe for King David Coffee Roasters. Couldn't be happier, and you will be too.
wow! this coffee is amazing, and Sam is so nice and professional, I bought one bag of the Costa Rica beans following his advice just before flying back to Israel, enjoying it so much now that I regret not buying more, have to find a way to ship it to Israel since I won’t be visiting Nashua in the near future, highly recommend!
Wow!!! Have to say hands down, King David's has the best coffee I have ever had. Last fall my sister sent me over to pick up some coffee as she was buying for a gift. Sam was more than welcoming. As I waited for the coffee to finish roasting, he explained the whole process to me, showing me exactly what happens to the bean during the roasting process. He showed me the difference in beans and explained how he sourced them. I grabbed a bag for myself while I was there and when I got home to try it, I was blown away! You can taste the difference in the freshly roasted and maticulously cared for beans. If I could give more stars I would. I think everyone should switch to King David's coffee, not only because it supports a local business but because it's darn good!
Great coffee and Sam is an awesome guy. I've been purchasing beans from KDC for about 2 years now.
Best coffee and prices anywhere by far.
Sam was helpful and friendly. Beans are fresh and delish. And the only local place for Chemex filters. Will be back for more soon!
Great coffee at great prices, and Sam had a wealth of information and advice on coffee. I'd highly recommend you get the coffee. You can't beat these prices!
While everyone else is raising prices, Sam has slashed his. King David used to be a good deal - now it's a great deal. His Celebes Kalossi is absolutely the best dark roast coffee anywhere! If you live in New England, phone in your order and ask for a regional rate box to save on shipping.
The coffee is excellent, uniformly, and prices are very reasonable. Papua New Guinea is a favorite, but we regularly try other varieties. The maple is an unusual and wonderful treat. In addition, Sam is always a joy to work with. He is passionate about coffee and is absolutely trustworthy. Support this business!
I have been drinking King David Coffee for quite a while now and it is the best coffee around. (and I have tried many different brands)
Hands down the best coffee I've ever experienced. Of comparable (if not superior) quality to fine coffee sold for twice the price at health food stores or other local roasters. The Tanzanian Peaberry and Organic Peruvian are two of my favorites. Wholesale prices for a boutique product!
Amazing coffee at an amazing price. Sam is passionate about coffee and it shows in the roasts that he produces.
