I was desperate for relief and was trying to get well enough to go to girls camp!! Staff was friendly and professional. I've had back problems everytime im pregnant, this time around Im not, but decided it was time time to get my body adjusted. I've been in severe pain for the last couple of weeks. I couldn't sit or stand for a long period of time. I struggled with exercising and sleeping at night. My lower back was driving me crazy. Dr. Higbee educated me on the spine and the effects that it can have. After adjusting/popping my bones I can not believe how good It feels. I hopped up very quickly from the table and was able to move without any pain. I went to a football game later in the day and was able to actually sit through 2 hours. I went in for lower back pain, but it seemed like the only thing he was concerned about was that I occasionally drink soda, and that I have moderate stress (as a student). Even after explaining my condition, which I have had since birth, he attributed it completely to stress, and recommended the most disgusting multivitamin known to man. When to see Dr Higbee for a recurrent wrist issue I have been suffering from for about 10yrs. I believed it to be from a break as a child that was never properly tended to and healed wrong. I have always been afraid of chiropractors because the obvious fear someone never been to one might have. I only went to Dr Higbee because I did not think he would be adjusting my neck around for a wrist issue. I went there because they offered in house X-rays and I thought I definitely needed one. Anyway he explained so much to me about the bones and how our neck and back and everything are linked. He made painless quick ajustments to my neck and back and wrist and in that moment I was sold for life. My wrist was IMMEDIATELY 75% better and within days 100%. Going from it being completely crippling debilitating pain to perfect. Something I haven't felt in 10 yrs. The biggest thing for me was my neck and back thou- walking out of there about 20 min after I arrived- I felt amazing. 10yrs younger and the ability to properly check my blindspot again ha. Dr Higbee in my opinion IS a modern day mirical worker. I only write this long review because honestly you don't know how much pain your in until your not and I will visit Dr Higbee or chiropractors like him for the rest of my life befor anything else. Not to mention the rest of his staff are great and office more then comfortable. For the $/time/ and experience- even if your apprehensive about chiropractory Visit Dr Higbee and change your life and let that change your mind-like it did me. -Joe an EXTREMELY satisfied patient.

I was very disappointed with this doctor. I had high hopes because it said he was a BYU chiropractor but when I went in I was rushed through my appointment and felt like the doctor was more worried about how many people he could see that day than my pain. The treatment was rough and left me feeling more sore than when I first went in, i have been to other chiropractors that have a better touch. I was very disappointed to say the least! The only thing good about the visit was the price, I guess you get what you pay for! I would rather pay more to go somewhere else. If you like feeling like you're just a number, you may like this place, as for me, I will never go back, nor would I ever refer a friend.

As a first time patient in a lot of pain, I went to Lonestar Chiropractic based on a family recommendation. Dr. Higbee expressed genuine concern and was even willing to meet me over the weekend due to the severity of the pain/spasms. Adjustment was deep and thorough and even had muscle management/manipulation included in my visit. Their massage therapist was very skilled and knowledgable on how to help relieve my injury also. I would recommend this Lonestar on all levels.

I was originally referred to Dr. Higbee about 6 years ago. I have been going to chiropractors for about 10 years now and have been to at least 15 different chiropractors offices to see how they can help me, prices they charge, programs they offer, etc. I was in an accident about 20 years ago and got some short-term care from a physical therapist at the time and was then "released". I did not know I really could have used chiropractic care--I was a naive 18 year old who had just moved away from home and did not know I could have gotten my treatment paid for by the person's insurance who was at fault. Since then I have had various problems with my body. There was one chiropractor that said he had a great plan for me to "get me better"...for about $10,000.00, which I definitely could not afford. Some have had plans where they want me to commit to some $2,000.00 to $3,000.00 plan (or a little more) to help me. Some have had comparable prices to Dr. Higbee, but I did not feel like they adjusted my body well. Dr. Higbee has been GREAT with my family and friends that I've referred. He is caring, personable and understanding. He works with my family to pay for our care, especially after I meet my 20 visits for the year. He has a lot of insights into wellness for the whole body. He is great with NOT charging for every modality he uses at each appointment. He takes the time each patient needs, but tries to stay on track with appointments. I appreciate that because if I need a little extra time on a visit, I know he will help me out just like he would someone else. I have tried the K-Lazer, which I feel calms the pain or discomfort. I had some foot pain and right after I had the K-Lazer used on them, I stepped down off the table and was surprised that my feet felt good. It may need to be done more than once, depending on what your body needs. I've tried acupuncture, NET, and other modalities. He does muscle work, stretches, etc. He adjusts extremities...there were parts of my body I did not know before that could be adjusted, like ankles, feet, thumbs, ribs, etc. I learned that it is good to have babies adjusted after they are born to help their body systems work smoothly and be aligned, etc. Babies and children can be adjusted to help with ear infections, allergies, etc. When I have allergies, Dr. Higbee does a technique that helps the sinuses open up...nothing weird, doesn't hurt, very gentle. There are benefits to different things for different problems. There are great massage therapists at his office too...I LOVE the massages! Thanks Dr. Higbee and your staff for all you do for our family! We appreciate you! : )

I've been coming to Dr. Higbee since I was pregnant with twins 5 years ago, since then my back has gone severely downhill. Dr Higbee is the only person that's given me any pain relief. I was a first time patient to ANY chiropractic institution. I was experiencing neck pain like nothing I had ever felt in my life, but thought I would seek out a chiropractor instead of going straight to a doctor. I was slightly late for my appointment, but I filled out some paperwork, was called back around 6:10 and in my car by 6:25 driving home. My husband was waiting in the car, and saw the doctor literally running out of the office before I'd even exited the building (he had a member of his office staff do a laser treatment on my neck, she was very friendly for the record). I noticed a comment above that mentioned the first appointment normally takes 30 minutes or more? He suggested I come back the next day, but considering I dished out 40 dollars for 15 minutes of treatment (10 of which was with a receptionist) and woke up with the exact same pain that I was experiencing yesterday I did not keep my second appointment. (Also, my copay is listed as 10/30/60, so where did 40 dollars come from?) It sounds like I'm an outlier, but I suppose my take away is: don't schedule an appointment for the end of the day because he would rather rush you through your appointment and get out the door than reschedule and not get your money.

I have seen Dr. Higbee for the past couple of years for occassional maintainance, but a year ago I got Miniere's disease and after going to neurologists and trying all kinds of medications, I decided to ask Dr. Higbee. He gently adjusted me and then did acupunture on me. It took a couple of months, but I am 100% better! The medicines made me sick and groggy, and I was so thankful for Dr. Higbee's efforts. He made me feel like priority #1. I can see why his waiting room is full, because he is amazing! He listens and works so hard to help his patients. I have referred all of my friends and my kids have gone to see him as well.

I injured my back on a Saturday night, and desperately needed some help. I called on Monday morning at 7:45, and was surprised when the doctor, himself, answered. He made room for me in his schedule and saw me that morning, less than an hour after the initial call. I couldn't get onto the table, due to my injury, so he was kind enough to help move my legs up. The appointment was good, and the doctor was very intelligent. Unfortunately, my injury was too severe to be remedied by an adjustment or two, but I trusted this doctor, and his office staff. I have been trying to get care for 4 years with my issues and have seen a total of 12 chiropractors. He is great, nothing like any of the other Chiropractors I have been to who try to have you continually get care to take your money, and not sufficiently give you the care you need. He is also very cooperative, he does not charge his patients every lasting penny they have for every visit, which is nice being a freshly newly wed student.He does an all inclusive price, and helps you with other treatments and lazier as well. (side note. Try their massage chairs in the foyer! They are pretty sweet haha.) He does great, he is quick and makes sure that you are well, and on a very quick road to recovery. It is night and day difference! If there was a way to give ten stars I would! He truly puts his patients first. As you can see from a previous rating. He is a father, but still tries to help people when they are in pain. My mom is coming down from Iowa, and I am having her go to this doctor, she is terrified of chiropractors. I would recommend him to anyone!
