Extremely overpriced. I ordered a sandwich for delivery on a saturday, the lady on the phone took my order and said it would be delivered soon, I tried telling her where to delivery it but she hung up on me. I assumed she recognized the number and knew the address. After 40 mins I called to see where my order was, they were surprised to hear they were supposed to deliver to me and said it was impossible to deliver because it was too busy. They then told me they couldn't find my order anywhere in the system so they would place it and I could pick it up in 10 mins. I picked up my order and paid. They then called 20 minutes later to say my order was ready, I told them I had called to see where my order was and they couldn't find it so they placed another one. The lady on the phone was huffy and rude, and hung up on me while I was explaining what happened. The miscommunication was with the employees and they tried to take it out on the customer, and they were rude about it on top of that. I will not be returning.

My sandwich was about double the price than I've ever paid for the same exact thing. And it was on the small side..Plus I went saturday november seventh at 12:35pm, and they were under staff which caused a long wait. Maybe they just have high rent which cause the food to cost so much? Who knows...

Used to be my go to spot for a breakfast sandwich, but the last few have been abysmal. I will not be getting them there anymore as the bacon was extremely undercooked multiple times. The eggs seemed to be cooked on a dirty surface, as they had brown bits all over them. There are so many good restaurants in bucks county, I suggest picking a different one than Hollander.

The potential is there, but in general they always find a way to miss the mark in terms of service, price, or some other ancillary thing you take for granted at your favorite food spots. I just spent $14.00 on a pretty good sandwich, a coke, and a bag of chips, and I regret having gone because it was too expensive and I waited 25 minutes to get my food. Evidently it was just sitting there and the cashier forgot about me. It seems like a great spot, but they always find a way to disappoint me that normally has very little to do with the food.

Fabulous Food & Service for our Bartram’s Garden Wedding The Jamie Hollander team helped to make our daytime, brunch wedding a spectacular success. From the very start, they understood our unique vision for the day and were collaborative and supportive throughout the planning. The logistics were seamless and well-orchestrated, and the custom menu was delicious. Guests were raving about how delicious the food was, responsive the staff were, and how well-timed the service came out. Behind the scenes, too, the Jamie Hollander staff helped coordinate our various vendors and worked with the Bartram’s Garden staff to ensure that the day was successful in a way that was completely transparent to us. In searching for a venue and caterer, we looked at many Philadelphia locations, and as an LGBTQ couple, we were sensitive to the diversity and inclusivity of our prospective vendors. Even language was important to us as we searched for the right venue (e.g. bridal suite vs. getting ready space). Jamie Hollander was by far the most inclusive catering company we worked with, and made us feel welcome and comfortable without overdoing it—it meant a lot to us during our search. Thank you to the Jamie Hollander team for ensuring our wedding day was a fabulous and fun experience for us and our guests.

Ordered a pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel with extra pork roll and got 1 slice of pork roll. That's not enough for a regular order, let alone extra! Don't be so stingy!

My daughters wedding was at Glenn Foerd and it was excellent. The food was perfect, delicious, excellent. the service was beyond perfect. Everything went off without a hitch, no mistakes. the decorations were beyond my expectations. Every aspect of the day was handled perfectly and professionally. The attention to detail was flawless. EVERY guest was blown away. and couldn't stop saying how impressed they were. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Jamie Hollander and company for your wedding. They took care of everything down to the smallest detail and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I was highly impressed !!!

After purchasing a stuffed cabbage order on (01/15/2013) for just over $12.00 I warmed it up the same evening and it was bone dry. Totally uneatable. I returned it the very next day. It should be noted that I paid cash for this item. To add insult to injury they wanted to give me a store credit. I told them I would return home and get the receipt out of the garbage and would never be back to use the store credit. They finally gave me my money back. So basically they gave me substandard food, at a very high price and when I told them I paid cash for it they did not believe me. If you guessed I will not be rushing back you would be correct. To be quite honest with you I have had purchased stuffed cabbage just down the street at the Super Fresh which was much less than half the price of Jamie Hollander and it was a 1000% better. I will no longer shop at a food establishment, especially a high priced one that claims it is “gourmet” quality, and obviously has no quality control.

The food is good although highly recommend against cooked duck breast unless you’re going to eat it cold. Doesn’t reheat well using any method. More importantly don’t expect a friendly, smiling, service oriented staff. I always leave feeling as if I’ve inconvenienced them and been scowled at or even ignored. I’m begging you to teach your staff to smile! Maybe some happy music? Anything to brighten the mood in there! I’d come much more often if someone, anyone would actually treat me like a customer!

Fresh and delicious! We had J Hollander provide the appetizers and the desserts for a BBQ dinner for 65. It was fantastic. The veggie platters were beautiful, fresh and way more than the usual carrots and celery! We also had two passed appetizers, spanakopita and baby crab cakes. Outstanding! The desserts were a variety of cookies and bars which were fresh and scrumptious. And the chips and dip platter was amazing. Homemade chips which we couldn't get enough of! Everyone was raving about them! They were on time and exactly what we ordered. The next day we had them deliver sandwiches for the bridal party. Delish...esp the crab cake sandwich!

Everything here is delicious and the people are wonderful, too! I usually go for breakfast, which is phenomenal. Egg sandwiches/wraps, oatmeal, smoothies, bagels, tea/coffee. Just great!

So, so. But it is nice to support a local business. Not the most welcoming vibe, and no wifi. Don't stop here if you are in a rush. Updated to one star. $9 for 1/2 of tune salad was the last straw. Ridiculous.

Jamie Hollander is my go-to place for fresh, clean, and unique foods. On top of the food quality, the service is exceptional and friendly. I recommend stopping by to see the variety of gourmet cheeses and meats, including a house smoked salmon (very good). Nothing in the area, in one place, meets the tastes for brewed coffee beverages, smoothies, prepared sandwiches, bagels, and grab-and-go gourmet items.

Extreamly overpriced for unnecessary items. Some dishes are loaded with flavor, while others lack and are very salty. Environment is dull and so are the people working there! I honestly dont know how they stay in business.

Great food but the customer service is indifferent at best. Always seem to be at least 3 or 4 people behind the counter but no one says hello and the wait time can frequently be ridiculous, with the order having been forgotten completely on more than one occasion. Today I said thank you to the person who helped me at the register, but they simply handed me my change and walked away - already talking to a co-worker. I know many locals who simply stopped going for just these reasons, but I'd rather give you the chance to do something about.

My son's wedding was amazing. The food was great along with the staff and the service was excellent. I look for to going to New Hope to the restaurant because I'm sure it would be equally excellant. I also would love to meet Jamie and thank him.

I'm not understanding the negative reviews, my experiences at Jamie Hollander have been good. I usually get one of their salads (they are huge, btw) or a "build your own" sandwich and I've never been let down. Yes, they are a bit on the expensive side, but it's New Hope, and I've come to expect that. Also, the staff is always very friendly.

My fiance and I went here for our wedding menu tasting. If we weren't so full, I would have ordered something else for the next day on their extensive menu. If you're looking for them to cater an event, Rachael is awesome to work with. We know they'll do a great job with our wedding!

Good food, incredibly slow service. So slow in fact that I don’t even bother anymore with them. I once waited 45 min for an egg sandwich. I understand these are one off moments, but I’ve gone back to give them other chances and wait times for even the simplest items are too long for what it’s worth. No one says hello behind the counter too. If they can improve the wait experience or be more attentive then I’d consider revisiting. Until then...I’ll go elsewhere

I took a friend to the Christmas Tea at Cairnwood Estate in December, it was catered by Jamie Hollander. The table setting was very nice, the one scone that we were given was teeny tiny but there was plenty of clotted cream and preserves to go along with it, would have been nice to have had another or at least a full size scone to go with it. The soup and sandwich were very good and my friend enjoyed her salad and sandwich. The dessert plate was so lacking, the cake didn't even taste fresh and the slices were super thin. You need a new pastry chef if this is the best you can put out.

Used JH for catering our daughter’s wedding at Bartram’s Garden in Philadelphia. We had stations under a tent with 185 guests and it was PERFECT. When guests go back for seconds and thirds and then rave about the desserts and s’mores station - you know you’ve hit a home run. Kate and Lauren ran the whole wedding the minute we arrived by trolley and it was flawless. They made my daughter’s wedding a complete joy and fun!
