The employees are disrespectfully blaring the base. It is very hard for the customers in the plaza next door to enjoy their service and dining experiences with all the walls vibrating. Thanks for the headache.

One star is actually too generous! Took my van there yesterday for a wash. Once home realized they completely missed the entire backside and underbody. I took it back and the lady said she was sorry and offered us the $19.99 full service. We left and once we got to our destination it looked no different than when we took it back originally

I would give Jax a half star if it were possible. My wife had our van washed for the first time, and they completely missed the back/sides. We went back a second time, and they missed the back again!!!! My son wrote "Hi" on the back after the initial wash, and it was totally untouched the second time! They gave us the "premium" wash the second time! I have pictures after the second wash. There is no attention to detail nor quality. Mr. C's would never let this happen.

Solid car wash for a quick rinse, although prices have jumped quite a bit recently. A basic wash now runs $6 for the same quality that you can get closer to Detroit for $2-3. Offers free vacuums and hand drying.

Never going back. I paid $20 and my truck was not clean, there were missed areas and light scratches. The guys that dried my vehicle did so in about 15 seconds. I will take my business to CJ’s where they do an excellent job.

The staff here is nothing less than amazing. They went above and beyond for me and my vehicle. I ran over paint on the way in and they need everything they can to remove it urgently. They even stayed after hours to get this don’t. AMAZING PEOPLE. I wish I had everyone’s names to thank but there were a couple women and a few gentlemen. Thank you!

They have this vacuum outside they purposely close it and they block you that way you force your way to a car wash..terrible place to get a car wash

I did basic car wash, I observed after car wash there were few nicks on one side of car like paint is removed on these nicks. On side tire mudguards did not get clean. Those look like not even washed. Very bad experience from a reputed car wash.

They used to ask you if you wanted your door frames wiped down. Now you have to ask them. Still the same great service and wash. Can save a lot by purchasing 5 at a time.

The car wash does good work, however, it also damages the car. When speaking to the owner, his immediate response is "well we didnt do anything wrong you must have"....i know this because the same thing happend to a friend of mine the same week...its a risk be careful!

Excellent car wash at a fair price! For $6.00 you can get a good car wash and have it dried by hand while you sit in the car. The only draw back is the owner is an MSU fan! LOL!! I have been going to this car wash for (3) years now with my U of M bumper sticker that they even wash for me. You can't beat that! I love these guys. They treat me like family and they do a great job at a fair price.

I have been giving Jax AH the benefit of the doubt since they bought America’s finest but today was the last straw. Their service costs 33% more than the previous owners but quality is 50%. Had to take van back today cuz the wash barely touched the tailgate and dry guys didn’t say a word even with tip. Promised extraordinary 2nd wash - same thing. No QC. No bug prep. No soft brush pre. They are trying to do this with no people, but there’s people everywhere. This is my 5th or 6th bad experience so I have tried. It’s a shame because its a great location. I miss the personal service and quality of America’s Finest. Jax could learn a thing or two from them.

This wash is easy to get in and out of quickly, but that's largely because they skimp on the detail work no mater how much you spend, it's almost entirely automated only. This is a solid place for a quick in and out wash, but Do NOT spend for any upgraded washes because they essentially just throw more chemicals into the wash without doing things like treating or scrubbing the rims clean. They no longer clean door jams, all stuff you can get done at Mr. C's for less money. This is the Car Wash of last resort because it's convenient and quick, go to Mr. Cs if you want to get far better quality for less money.

Mr C's Car Wash since 1991 produces a better wash than (this) Jax Kar Wash since 1953* for same or similar pricing. Both have unlimited programs but Jax is more flexible outlined below- Jax: "Unlimited" washes, limited to one a day, second wash in the same day will be the most basic but free. Any more in the same day will be 50% off. Mr C's: "Unlimited" washes limited to once a day. No specials. Not consistently open. This Jax location has a track record of not being a great wash. I'm a happy customer of Mr C's and have invested in their monthly unlimited program. *Jax the company, not this location.

From what this place used to be (America's Finest) top notch service to Jax which threw away all the procedures and do a Horrible job cleaning the vehicle! You're lucky if the paint is clean. Got the best package and windshield, bumper and mirrors were still caked with bugs. Wheels were still filthy and the armor all for the tires is laughable! Did they want to make it right? Nope! Save your time and money and go elsewhere! PS...you cannot respond to their PR Guy. "Just show to a manager and we'll make it right" F'n laughable because after showing the high school dropout of a manager the problem, I was told that's the best that can be done!

Can pay with card now. Cheapest wash is $7, but it is a good value for what it does. Good options on monthly unlimited passes as well. The only local place I get my car washed, other than my driveway.

The upgrades here are awesome. The tip can be included in payment at the entrance which is automated for cash or credit. I was last in a line of about 10 vehicles and got a thorough exterior car wash in a short time. I especially like that there is an employee outside to help; and the guys at the end gave me a cloth, at my request, to wipe dust from instrument panel and interior while they dried off my vehicle. Quick & easy and a clean vehicle. Great!

I always drive by here and see it packed. Decided to get my Jeep Cherokee washed. I paid 14$ with the 2$ tire shine. Employees were nice, dried car well. I found several scratches on my vehicle. I am positive the scratches were a result of the car wash. A 12 scratch array on the roof near the back. This is about 4x3 inches. Also, a long one on the rear facia. They are very thin, not terribly deep. I am sure I can buff it out. I will not continue to use this service. Also, i will recommend all friends and colleagues elsewhere. Please throughly check your equipment.

My truck always leaves with residue on it and dirt lines down the back. I’ve been through there at least 10 times now. I know it’s a new staff but I feel they need to be trained. How do they not ask for running boards to be released down and then pulled back in? That could damage a vehicle if they don’t do so. I would never bring a higher end vehicle through here. America’s Finest was 10x better and had a long line of cars to prove it. Their staff was VERY well trained. I use to time it... if I was at the END of that line (almost to Waldon Rx) I was in/out in 12 minutes with a perfect wash. Now, there is NO clientele and they could take that extra minute on my car. But nope, 1/2 the time they don’t even spray the truck down before it enters!!! I REALLY miss the old car wash and that staff. And I don’t feel the soft cloth car wash is as good either

Overall, a great wash. However, just before they added the option to tip with CC upon payment, you had to remember to bring cash for a tip. A time when I stopped through on impulse and didn't have cash, the dryers were yelling about how they weren't getting tips while drying my car. That has left a bad taste in my mouth ever since.

I bought the package for 6 car washes and got the best car wash i could get thinking it would be great for winter salt and stuff....plus i saved 15 dollars.... The wash is more than double the cost of the cheapest econo was and comes with everything yet i would never buy it again... If you need a cheap quick rinse the car wash or you want the everything clean my car no matter what wash......DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and get just the cheap wash.... Every wash out of all 6 car washes they spent literally the same amount of time prerinsing my car often misssing whole areas of the car and rushed me through just like they were dojng for the cheap car washes and my car came out really no cleaner then the cheap car washes....very disappointed...

This wash is by far the best I've been through. The price, the quality, and the staff are all spectacular! I love washing my own car because I can be sure to get it perfect, but when I'm strapped for time; America's Finest is the closest you'll get to the quality of doing it yourself.

Honestly not really impressed after Jax took over. They raised the price of the basic wash, while offering less and the car was not as clean. I'll miss the old company for sure.
