Come to find out my car has a timing chain and doesn't need to be changed. Will not bring my car back for service. I have no patience for someone trying to rip me off

We weren't looking to purchase, the day we pulled onto the Allen Tillery Chevrolet parking lot, but that's exactly what happened and we have Trent Jones to thank for that! We met Trent within moments of parking and he was very attentive to what we felt like our needs were. He listened to our situation, made some suggestions and recommendations, and asked questions that no other salesman that day had asked. After a few minutes of talking TO us, not AT us, he made the suggestion that we look into the Chevy Trax. We had looked into it some online, but were dead set on getting a car for the fuel efficiency. One test drive later and I knew it was what I wanted. He walked us through the credit application process, waited around to hear something back from them, and made sure we were well taken care of while we waited. This was our first vehicle purchase in over 9 years and when we are ready to purchase another one, I'm heading to Trent FIRST to see what he has available! I was so relieved to find a salesman that wasn't pushy, in my face, and that listened to what I was actually saying! Allan Tilley are sabotaging cars so you come back and see them. I use to love Chevy. I took my car in for a oil change. When I went to pick up my car my check Engine light pop on. Then it went off. It was weird . I kept my eye on it. It was Christmas weekend. My check engine kept coming on and off. When I went to Chevy they refused to help me and said it not there fault. Here it turn out that they crack my air intake tube during the oil change cause they were in a hurry. They cover it up and made me pay cause they lie to me angain and said my Engine vibrate and that why the air intake broke. They treated me like a dumd femail. They don't know that I know my cars. I am going to fight to get my money back. They damage my car and lie about it

I called about the advertised price on a new Chevy Equinox and got a sales associate named Kaleb. I met Kaleb the following day. He took the time to explain the rebates, explained the functions of the Equinox and made sure I had the color my girlfriend insisted upon. The experience was great. Dana in the finance made things easy to understand so I drove out with my new vehicle. This makes # 4 from Allen Tillery Chevy! DON'T let your 80+ year old parent go to Allen Tillery in Hot Springs ALONE. It is VERY FRUSTRATING and VERY DISAPPOINTING to learn that my Father was taken advantage of by people he trusted. He bought a 2019 Chevy Silverado 4wd LTZ crew with MSRP + additional options for $57,500 (they took $1k off the price tag because he is a "good" customer). Then they put him in a "great" financing package for 75 months at 7.49% (and my Dad has great credit) and a payment of $626/month. He bought it on 5/28. This was mistake #1 Mistake #2 was trying to unwind this horrible deal 17 days and 500 miles later. I understand depreciation, but Allen Tillery would only offer to buy back the truck for $45,000....if that is the "good" customer deal for a man who has purchased his last 4-5 vehicles from them, well.... Mistake #3, not writing this review sooner. I have learned a lot and so has my Father. Maybe you will learn as well and make sure you are shopping around for the best deal and NOT TO TRUST THAT THIS PARTICULAR DEALERSHIP WILL PUT YOUR INTERESTS FIRST. Oh yeah, found the same exact truck with all the options and 13 miles on it at another dealership's lot in Little Rock for $46,570 including all the options. $57,500 was NOT A "Deal" for anyone except the Allen Tillery dealership's profit margin. A clear case of #ELDER FINANCIAL ABUSE it seems to me.

I went to this place for an oil change and wow, that was easy and I was ready to give it 5 stars. When I went home, I noticed a ticking noise coming from my Duramax Engine on the left side of the front wheel. I went back the next day and the service writer said he heard the noise, but they didn't have a mechanic that could look at it at the moment. He said come back tomorrow at 9am. I went back the next day at 9am and the same service writer said their Diesel Mechanic called in sick. I asked him if someone could come out of the shop and at least look at it - he shook his head No, and said come back tomorrow. Just to recap, he wanted me to come back a third time - Not acceptable. I then took a 45 minute ride to Everett Buick GMC. When I pulled up into the service area, it was so crowed, I thought I would be there for hours, nope. The service writer listened to the noise, left, and came back in 2 minutes with paperwork from a GMC troubleshooting paper that said the noise was normal and that it was the DEF fluid spraying the exhaust. In short, some people really care about customer service, while some of the people at Tillary Auto are just there to collect a paycheck.

AT serviced my truck for several yrs, but no longer. Most of the time the service Bill would be minimum of $150 and all I ask for was to wash the truck. Once Mr Tillery even told them to wash the truck and they still refused. Well guess what? That may be a little perk but you lost my business over it. Gregg Orrs service far exceeds yours!

Mark in Service went above and beyond. Took Terrain over on a Monday, gave me a brand new truck to drive. Was to pick it up on Tuesday. I couldn't make it over and was going out of town on Wednesday. He said not to worry about it. I got back home on Sunday, but was sick. I could not get the truck back over. Mark said no worries. My sister finally got it back on Wednesday. I want to thank Mark and Allen Tillery Auto for being so understanding. They fixed the problem with my Terrain. My wife dropped off our 14’ Yukon to fix slow leaks on two tires. Also an oil change and rotation of tires since it was in the shop. They rotated the tires and didn’t notice a screws in two of the tires? (visible from 10’ away). One of the reasons I’m agreeable for dealership service work on our vehicles is to reprogram wheel pressure sensors otherwise I’m good with doing the work myself. Service is the name of that department yet not really provided. Not a big deal for me. I solved the problem without issue, however what about other patrons that depend on the dealer getting it right and catching any issues that could be a safety problem for the customer and that doesn’t have another technician checking the service departments work.

My daughter, granddaughter and I were on a trip from Texas and her GMC Acadia developed problems. We found Allen Tillery Auto and drove right into service. The service writer, ALLEN THOMPSON, was amazing. He got us right in, had the car checked out and told us the motor mounts were busted and it needed break pads. Needless to say, we were very upset. ALLEN said it would take a couple of hours to repair so we went across the street and played miniature golf. True to his word, we were ready.to travel and less expensive than quoted. Don't know if his being from Texas made any difference, but the dealership is very fortunate to have an employee like ALLEN THOMPSON.

I had a split in my dash. I have a 2013 Tahoe. I called Micah Ginnett (my salesman), and he set everything up. No problem. I left my truck there, was given a 2014 truck to drive, and returned the next day to pick my Tahoe up. My dash was replaced, and I was treated with nothing but courtesy and respect. Everyone at the dealership, that I have ever talked to has always been really nice. I would highly recommend the dealership, and tell all my friends about Micah. Took my truck in to have new brakes put on the front of it. Got the truck back and immediately noticed it didn't stop nearly as well as it had by a considerable difference. Drove it for a week and it was just unsafe. I bought good quality pads as recommended by an experienced mechanic. When he went to change them out, he immediately saw the problem. The low end tech student they employed put a 2" smaller rotor on both front wheels than what it needed. The brake pads were barely able to grip the rotor and had already worn through half of the pad in a week. Seriously serious mistake that could have been fatal. Good thing I didn't hook onto a trailer, I was scared to and rightly so. When I took it back, they questioned my mechanics ablility. I was standing there when he took it apart and saw the problem first hand so I knew he was right. I had pictures on my phone I even showed them. After arguing with them they agreed to check it out but informed me if I was wrong, I would have to pay an hours labor @$135/hour. After they inspected it, they acknowledged the wrong parts were installed and replaced them but made no attempt to appoligize or admit they were wrong.

Update on my review: -5 stars. Clutch was busted and other things wrong with it. My mechanic said it wasn't normal wear and tear. So in my opinion (emphasis on opinion) they knew about the problem and fixed it enough to get it sold. 1st dealing with them and the last. I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give you any less. Sold my son a truck and after the 1st day the clutch went out. I understand used vehicles problems will occur. But, the attitude I received when I asked if there was anything they could help was horrible and when anyone asks, I'm saying don't buy from you.

This was a very nice dealership with a responsive salesman ( Caleb). We test drove a pretty aqua Corvette convertible that backfired and stumbked before breaking down within 1/2 mile of the front door of the dealership. The Vette would not restart and we wound up stuck in the parking lot next to Gregg Orr Buick. Caleb was great and picked us up and had the car towed back. Too bad, it was nice except for engine problems!

Orr has lots of car lots but has a very bad reputation from how he has allowed business to be done by some employees that is criminal. We bought a new GMC Sierra 4 X 4 Pickup last week and couldn't be more pleased. Our salesman, Dickie Fryar, was knowledgeable and friendly....He didn't "high pressure" us which was a BIG plus with us! I found a used car; Buick Verono 2015, red , affordable, the car I still wish I could get but I could not get a $2000.00 loan from my bank because I had no collateral nor could Arvest Bank finance me because my credit score was 76 points under what the banks guidelines were. I did meet another wonderful loan officer, Virginia who done absolutely everything she could to help me. Allthough I couldn't get the loan ; I consider myself blessed to have met these two wonderful Christian ladies that went the extra mile to help me. May God bless them.

My husband and I are from Louisiana and my car (a 2013 Yukon) was recently stolen in Hot Springs, Arkansas and recovered in Little Rock, Arkansas and delivered to Allen Tillery to be repaired . Regretfully we have had VERY POOR SERVICE from the TECHNICIAN OR MECHANIC who serviced my car at Allen Tillery's . Why one may ask? We had to bring it back several times because of the un-professional , un-knowledgable, under schooled technician who did not discover that my fuel hose was severed , my air conditioner relay switch fuse was missing ,which caused my a/c not to work properly and as of yesterday ( February 8, 2017) almost caused my motor on my car to burn completely up, because the 2 fan fuses on each side of the relay switch fuse was missing, which caused the two front fans on my motor to not work , therefore not be able to cool my motor off which caused my motor to overheat because of the lack of unprofessionalism from the technician he did not do a complete and thorough examine of my car because he was in a hurry to do HIS JOB. Had the mechanic done HIS JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME I would not be writing this. So, this is why they are getting a very bad review. As for as the body shop there, we received great service from Shannon, Beth, and Harlold. We give them an A+ for there great service.

On July 25th while vacationing from New Jersey we had trouble with our 2010 Chevy Silverado. We were recommended from our campground to Allen Tillery Auto. We called service and reached Mark Tittle service consultant and asked if he would look at it. We brought it in and he said it was cam shaft and lifters. We were able to leave it there, he called for a rental car for us And would consult the adjuster for our warranty. Mark went over and above being helpful. We received our truck back on Saturday after the cam shaft and 16 lifters were replaced as he noted at day one. We cannot thank Mark enough for his help...all dealers should have people like Mark. Thank you again from two happy campers from New Jersey.

Awful experience at Allen Tillery. Due to not living near the dealership, price was negotiated beforehand and upon arrival it was not honored due to vehicle having a problem that was in turn going to cost the dealership to repair. A combination of dishonesty and a rude attitude is not what I expect out of a dealership. Vehicle seemed to be in poor condition and appeared to be concealed by touch ups. I took my business elsewhere and got a much better deal in the end and could not be more happy. I feel that this dealership is full of lies and deceit, save yourself the trouble.

Took car for an estimate. They were the highest by about $300. If you want the security of dealing with a friendly staff & dealership then pay the extra cash. We ultimately chose another place that was mid price compared to all the quotes we got, because they seemed very competent & was recommended by a friend. It's hard to beat the comfort level of a professional staff that works the front & does customer service, most other repair shops are smaller & don't have the staff. The extra cost covers extra man power. Previously they did work on a car that was covered by other drivers insurance & the work was done on time & was quality.

My son bought his first car at Allen Tillery. I was trying to help long distance from Tennessee. I spoke to his salesman and discussed how my son would not be living locally and didn't need the $2,500 approximate package of oil changes, tire rotations, etc. When the deal was done, my son bought that service contract, it somehow got slipped into the contract. They took advantage of a young, first time buyer. Don't let them take advantage of you or your family.

From the greeting by Cindy to the paper work finished at 8PM I was pleased with the effort by all concerned. I had to return to have the Acadia detailed and was able to talk to service people that answered all my remaining questions. Remaining questions about the bill of sale document (which needs to be improved for understandability) was taken care of. Overall a great experience.
