This is the third time in 10 days that I've gone to them! Every time they are so amazingly friendly and helpful. The prices are unbeatable, especially for the quality. I was so skeptical about moving to VB just because everything seemed so commercialized. But this a genuine family butcher shop with that individualized service every time.

My boyfriend and I get their two-person family pack. It's a great deal for a lot of good quality meat and plenty of variety. Our last package took us two and a half weeks to eat - not bad for two people under sixty bucks! And all of it was delicious. Even the simpler items like the sausage and frankfurters had great taste and seasoning. We were especially impressed by the tenderness of the stew meat. Last time we used it to make vegetable soup, but this week we're going to try shish-ka-bobs. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone who wants great meat for a fair price.

I have been buying all my meat here for years. Everything has always been fresh and as delicious as I had hoped. All of their staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Every time I go in there I smile. No other butcher shop in the area compares to their quality, cleanliness, and knowledge... and they're funny as hell!

Great butcher shop. Got the family pack for 3. And its lasted over 2 weeks for 2 people, with leftovers. The bacon is amazzziinnngggg. Love me some bacon! Next time will be buying extra bacon. Even though it did come with a lot. The meat is great quality. A little bit of a drive for me. But not a big deal if im only heading there every 2 1/2 weeks. The location is nice too. Because you can hit the farmers market up for some produce and get some ice cream a couple doors down! I included pictures of some of the meat cooked. All turned out delish! Will be ordering more meat soon!

The Country Butcher Shop in the Virginia Beach Farmer's Market is THE BEST!!! this is the only place I will buy meat . the prices are good .a pound of fresh ground burger ten cents more than walmart price 100 times better taste .the staff there are awesome !

Need something amazing for the grill tonight? These guys will hook you up. Everyone is so helpful and patient. If you don’t know what you want, they have recommendations. We bought our first family bundle and we couldn’t be happier. Everything is great!! The hamburger, bacon, steaks, chicken, pork chops, roast... the list goes on and on. Give them a try. Order a bundle or stop in for something for dinner!!

Great service. but even more important, they cut a 2" bone in ribeye for me, told me about the quality of the meat and i was exited. i could tell by the way the steak behaved and smelled on the grill that it was going to be good. one of the top flavor steaks i've bought in this price range. I will be a repeat customer

These Steelers fans are awesome!!! Their prices are great, products are delicious and they always treat the customers like family, unless they are Raider's fans... Never had a bad experience and the applewood bacon is the bomb... Always fresh always AWESOME! !!!! Family packs are a great value, and can be ordered online or by phone for next day pickup. This butcher shop is located in the Virginia Beach Farmers Market. There is plenty of parking nearby. We love to get our prime filets from here. We call and pre-order when they have them in stock and then go pick them up. They are always friendly when we stop in. They have prime and choice meat. Meat is fresh. Their products include filet mignon, other steaks, bacon, sausage, hamburger, alligator, beef jerky/sticks, fresh mozzarella, rubs, spices, sauce, etc. Go to this butcher, if you have a chance, they have great prices too.

Sorry but I am still comparing everything in Norfolk with south west US. Very small in size, and even smaller in variety of meat. But they make that up with double or triple the price!
