Our family are novice bowlers at best. We visited during a soccer tournament weekend to relax and get the athlete off her feet. This bowling alley is more old school than most. They have auto scoring bit the bumpers are manual so they are up or down. No switching by bowler. For us it worked out fine. We had a great time as a family. The 2 hour deal is good for a family of four or more. The attenandant even helped us extend a few extra minutes so we could finish the game in progress. We didn't eat from the on site bar however it smelled good. Another positive with it being more old school is the noise level felt lower than other places we've been.

Always a good time here! It's a fun family setting, but good for couples as well. The drinks are pretty good as well. Go on Friday's after 9 and the lanes are half priced.

Never buy a Groupon for this place, completely unprofessional used a belittling tone. And icing on the cake they don't give you what you paid for.

This is a great venue that is clean unlike other bowling alleys. We came for a business party and took advantage of some catering options where they brought your typical bar food and unlimited soft drinks. It was good to spend two hours here bonding as a company during the afternoon when it wasn't so packed.

When me and my party arrived we waited at least 10 mins before someone assisted us. Then there was only one woman working the bar & grill so she had to make food and drinks which caused there to be over an hour wait. Eventually another worker came to address the issue then helped at the bar & grill. The service was just not good.

Decent place for evening out with friends. If you want to join their league, proceed with caution!!!. Their rules are not traditional league rules. Im not saying dont patronize the place. The friendly staff, and food helps. But just get a full understanding on their league rules..

It's definitely a family friendly place! The employees (one of which was either the manager or owner) were extremely friendly and accommodating. He joked with my son about the shoe sizes. He even brought over a smaller ball for us to try once it became available. This place is very clean, well organized and runs smoothly. They have balls as small as 4lbs. The shoes were like new. We used the bumpers but they even have the ramps for the brand new bowlers. All of the other customers were very friendly even cheering us on when we bowled well. The customers who showed up after us had several children who didn't mind sharing their balls with my child. I highly recommend this bowling alley for a fun filled, family friendly outing!!

Classic bowling alley, friendly staff where very helpful finding a ball and shoes for my kids. The offer $1 games mid-day during the week which is great for family bowling. Also have a little bar/grill for snacks and drinks while you bowl.

Have used this alley for many work fundraising events and they do a great job. I needed a receipt I had lost from an event 3 months ago for an expense report. Called them today and Don was able to take my info and provide me a copy via email in less than 10 minutes. Great service and will be coming back!

This is a fun place if you are in a group. By itself the rates are reasonable, but if you can get a Groupon deal it becomes irresistible. The bar is very reasonably price. All together a fun spot to be at with friends and family

You don't see many establishments ran with such pride of ownership, as Don clearly runs his bowling alley. He greeted us with a smile and helped us determine the best pricing structure for our group. We had an absolute blast and highly recommend Olivette Lanes. Clean, friendly, fun, and reasonably priced. We did the research on all the alleys in STL and Olivette was our winner.
