I stopped by the bar area just to order food! They gave me grilled chicken salad with chicken crumbs (no chicken pieces) and when I mentioned it, they got mad and made fun of me, laughing at me! I will never be back! The bowling and game area is expensive but ok, but the whole experience just made me feel sick to my stomach! I will never be back!! Review is 1 star! I am rating the bowling area 4 star. The 1 star is restaurant area!

The nicest bowling alley I have ever been to! Love the new couches and the attached sports bar, Kingpin. For the review that said it’s “ bowling alley food” I suggest they try ordering from the bars menu next time, it is fabulous! Duck tenders, pork belly, prime rib sandwhich, and my favorite; the Biloxi bread are anything but typical “bowling alley food”

Bathrooms unkept...basically, the whole place is out of control; hence, the need for armed security guards. If you’re wanting to take your family, especially on a weekend night, don’t do it!! Overpriced and understaffed.

I am only giving 1 star because it will not allow me to leave zero stars. We decided that bowling would be something good to do for my nephew's birthday...what a mistake! I purchased a cake and decided that it would be good to take it to the celebration, while deciding on how many games... shoes... etc. we were told that there will be a $25 fee for them to allow us to bring it into the building. The only alternative was to leave it in the car in 81 degree weather. I ONLY BOWLED BECAUSE IT WAS WHAT HE WANTED TO DO BUT I WILL NOT BE BACK!

We live close to Fannin Lanes and have bowled their for several years. My wife is especially loving the frozen margarita machine. Plenty of "content" for a decent price! The new outdoor seating has been nice since it was a warm fall. This is the best place to bowl in the metro area. The equipment is newer and kept in good shape. The lanes are kept clean and oiled right and the black light bowling is fun on the weekend. Even though its not very old they just did a big update with the new bar area and the new kitchen. All of the food their tastes good. Always a fun bowling experience.

We went here to bowl and did not like our experience. Here are some reasons why: •First problem: Shoes had to be tried out multiple times before we could get a pair that “fit”. This was a problem for two in our party. •Second problem: In our first lane, there were eight toddlers and eight adults in the lane next to us. They kept interferring with our game and made our experience no fun. We asked to be moved and the girl we talked to was very mature and understanding about the situation. We were then moved to two lanes (one being ours) filled with people eating food from the concessions. We waited for them to finish, but after a while, we decided to go get a refund and leave. •Third problem: When we went to get our refund, we were only given $14.25 back of the overpriced $40.00 we paid for three people to bowl two games. We were told that because we had already played half a game, we couldn’t get a full refund. Poor management. •Fourth problem: They have to have armed security, but they can’t get anybody to clean and stock the bathrooms. Please think twice before bowling here.

Atmosphere and bar are awesome. Furniture and balls are awesome. We went this past weekend. July 13th. Saturday midday. Brought my balls and shoes for me and the wife. Got our lane ordered drinks...and then wow! Zero and I mean zero oil. This was hugely disappointing. We both prepaid for 3 games each. Bowled about 4 frames. I went to the desk, thinking maybe only certain lanes were oiled. Was told they only oil for tourneys. It's literally 7 minutes from my house. Would have been my favorite spot. Kids will enjoy it, and if your a dead straight bowler it's going to be a blast. Maybe I just caught it on an off week for leagues. No way they skipped a week or anything tho. They were none dry! Not for the serious bowler.

Awesome place to go bowling. Only wish that they would open up another place to cut down on overflow. Cosmic bowling is usually about a 2 hour wait for a lane (which isn’t a bad thing cause that’s money for the bowling alley to keep adding for an even better experience).

Fannin is great! However, I was out for fun with my boyfriend and my little sister (16). My boyfriend and I ordered a pitcher of beer to share (my sister was driving) and toward the end of the game some cops came over and demanded our IDs. ( Not mad about that. I understand they are a business and I'm sure under age drinking is taken advantage of there) My boyfriend and I produced our IDs for the cops. He went on to ask for my 16 year old sisters Id and I assured him that she had NOT been drinking. The cop says that he watched her drink a beer and that if she had one single sip we were both going to jail. He went into the back and watched the entire video from the time we were there. We had to go track the cop down to ask him if we were okay to leave. No apology, just a nod. Like I said, I understand where he was coming from but he was unneccessarily rude and ruined the remainder of our game!!

We brought 2 small children here to bowl on a saturday afternoon. After patiently waiting well over an hour for a lane, we were told there were no accommodations for kids (bumpers or anything). The cashier was very unapologetic and made no effort to rectify or anything. I am disappointed in the service here, and the children were disappointed that they could not bowl. The place is nice though. Just not sure abt their customer service.

Fannin Lanes is a nice bowling alley. Better when the lanes are oiled. Now, the little gem in the bowling alley, the restaurant bar, OMG!! the food is so delish!! I'd give it 10 stars. The Grilled Chicken Sandwhich was good, the REAL homemade onion rings are ginormous with real large onions. BEST. I. EVER. HAD. !!! I had The Walter sandwhich this last time and the Fireball Pork Belly bites! They were like country spare ribs cut up into bite sized nuggets of goodness. The bartender was a sweetie pie, she talked with us and made us feel welcomed. My Fiancee is now on a bowling league there and I am going with him. It's a fun place to go. I hope you enjoy as much as we do.

They should be ashamed at charging by the hour. We bowled a few minutes and it switched to Cosmic bowling (dark) and they didn't tell us when we started. No oil on the lanes at all. My plastic spair ball wouldn't go straight. Lots of underage drinking going on. Not again.

If you're a casual bowler just out with friends, go for it. If you're a serious bowler, look elsewhere. The staff didn't even know what I meant when I asked if the lanes had been oiled. I've never seen lanes that dry in my life. I would give 0 stars but I had to give one just to post my opinion.

I went to a birthday this weekend for my best friend's son's 6 year old birthday. The staff, the staff, THE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend reserved 4 lanes and I repeat 4 LANES. There were like 15 children their plus parents. The staff piled all 15 children on 2 lanes. 7 on one and 8 on the other.... and gave them 30 MINUTES to bowl... how is that even possible. So a few of the parents went to the desk to see if we could bowl on 1 of the open lanes reserved for the birthday party. The young lady at the desk gave us every excuse why we couldn't. "Oh it's a 45 minute wait." "You have to get permission from the birthday host!" (we got the FULL OK by the host, by the way), and etc. Whatever! So we all just went back to the party to entertain our babies. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF I was sitting down with my sweet 2 year old while he was eating his little birthday cupcake... while he was drinking his water the Fannin Lanes' coordinator girl started cleaning up and just came over, balled up the table cloth with my son's cupcake in it, and then asked, "Oh.. was he still eating?" It happened so quick I was too shocked to even react. Dang I thought that most professional people would ask, "Are you finished with this and would you like for me to take this?" No ma'am, NO MA'AM!!! I am gonna try to keep my personal feelings out of this... so this is strictly Business. The worst, unprofessional, most rude staff I have ever encountered. We will not be going back over there. Fannin Lanes and it's staff has just left a horrendous taste in my mouth.

I went last week and I will never go back. The lane next to us was a group of 5 UNDERAGE teenagers with THREE pitchers of beer. They completely ruined our night and when I went to look for a supervisor there wasn't an adult anywhere! Only the zombie staff that kept their head down the entire time we spoke to them. The building is also way to small for the amount of people pouring in there. There was also a drunk couple one lane down grinding all over each other. The woman was literally giving her male companion a lap dance. I don't think "family friendly" and alcohol go together in this environment.

I’ve gone every time around 5 pm and I bowl and enjoy. Last Saturday I went at 12:15 AM looking to buy just a game ticket for my two friends. That takes about 30 minutes.i knew They close at 1AM and that’s why I didn’t buy the hour ticket. I came there and the fat woman with a mans hair cut dirty blonde hair said “since we are closing in 30 min I can’t let you bowl. I didn’t realize it was just 12:15 so I just said okay and left. I would have told her something if I had realized earlier But seriously the place was closing 45 min later not 30. How lazy are these people. don’t come 45 min before they close bc you will not bowl.

The shoes here are made not to slide as I was told by an employee because it increases their liability. So if you are really trying to bowl this is not the place to go. If you are just wanting to goof off maybe go here but not to really bowl. This place must’ve been sued by someone who fell because I see in many of their reviews they are afraid to oil the lanes because of falling and you might as well wear your tennis shoes than get their “bowling shoes”. Their shoes stick to the floor like glue. Will find a real bowling alley somewhere else.
