The price for bowling is very reasonable. Park Lanes is a well kept secret. Glad I'm finally in on this secret! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Very cool place to go bowling with modern and sophisticated equipment, including a room for party bowling and cool couches and lighting. Prices are good and they vary daily based on each day's flyers which you can pick up at the entrance. Good Pizza and other fast food too.

We won't be returning here. Made a reservation and paid a week in advance for a kids birthday. We all arrived well ahead of time and they had already given away our lanes, even though they were not nearly full. Which forced us to be put on lanes without bumpers for the younger children in the group. Customer service was non-existent, nobody in the place from the kids working the counter, to the balding short haired manager, seemed to even care about their screw up, or the impact it had. Their cosmic bowling setup is weak, from lighting to music, really wasn't an entertaining change from regular bowling with the lights on. Music selection was dull and uninspiring, especially for the generation attracted to such things, though if you like Billy Joel, Queen, Bon Jovi, etc etc by all means go. Majority of their tiny arcade is small ticket games all crammed together, and a few sit down racers and shooters, some of which were broken, and at $1 per play it's not worth it. The arcade got dull very very quickly. Liquor and food prices are the standard outrageous cost, $11.50 for two bottles of Boulevard Pale Ale. The VIP area looked to be a slight upgrade (wrap couches instead of hard plastic chairs), but not worth the price tag. The only redeeming feature is that the place seemed clean for the most part. Though how they keep it that way is beyond me when every single time I looked over pretty much all of the employees were just standing at the counter chatting. The only person I really saw the entire evening doing any real work out on the floor was the guy manning the snack counter and I kinda feel sorry for him. PowerPlay on Shawnee may not be seem as clean, but they have far more to things do for the non-bowlers and a better cosmic bowling setup.

Rented VIP room for a birthday party. Was told we could not be served alcohol because nobody was on staff to serve it that was of age. Then proceeded to watch another party served alcohol. Asked why and was told they already had alcohol previously and they couldn't stop serving them. Then miraculously, somebody on the staff suddenly turned of age and was able to help us after we told them that was illegal. The lanes malfunctioned several times during our game and we called for assistance which usually took 5-10 minutes and ate into our paid time. When we asked if we could get an extension we were told no because they had overbooked the VIP room and another party was beginning immediately after ours. We were told we would receive a refund. So we paid $160 to bowl for 20 minutes. When we asked for the refund it was not given to us because the person that was cashier was not authorized to give refunds. We will never be returning to this place. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Lots of lanes to allow many people to bowl at once. Very nice system to customize your game. There's a place to order food and drinks while you're playing. Sand volleyball courts outside and a few more areas inside to spend some time and have fun. They don't take your shoes when you get rentals so be sure to hold on to those.

We hosted our High School “After Prom” private event here and were very pleased! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and were super friendly even at 2 am!! Kids all had fun bowling and playing arcade games. Overall we were very pleased with this venue for our late night event.

Lanes are good and I feel like there is good effort to keep the place up to date. The reason for the less than five stars is the snack/drink bar. There was only one person cooking and taking orders. I waited about 10min while the rest of my group had to bowl for me just to get a beer because the guy was busy making food. There should be a little more attention to that area in the future to help spread the load.

The place is ok, it's a bowling alley. But the MANAGEMENT is horrible and rude. Their Credit card machine doesn't accept any cards with an expiration date past 2020. My UMB debit expires 2021 so I couldn't pay. I had some cash on me but not enough. The managers response was, "oh well, sorry." Didn't care if we stayed or left. He advised I could use the ATM and pay fees with them and my bank, but that was it. I asked if I could simply have a $7 food credit or something to comp the fees. I was told "NO!" Having three little kids bowl for an hour was not important to him. I understand he needs to make money but if this is a well known problem for them they should have a better solution than not caring and making customers leave. Will NEVER go back. They don't deserve business!

Absolutely NOT a family friendly place and a waste of time and money! After paying almost 90$ for reserving 2 hours of bowling online for myself, my wife, and kids we were told we had to pay an additional 26$ for shoe rental when we arrived! Their website specifically states that shoes are included in ALL packages! Additionally, the bumpers weren't working on the lane we reserved, so we had to be moved and the manager gave us some free refreshments after I complained ... ..... But after a while the bowling ball return stopped working on our lane and the families lane next to us. No one would help us or them, despite our attempts to find help. Between the fact that no one could bowl due to the bowling alley not maintaining its equipment and that there were loud, cussing men next to us (before 8 pm!), the family, who we didn't know, left and we left shortly after! We were lied to and over charged, and we didn't even get to bowl the full 2 hours we paid for!! This place is ABSOLUTELY NOT a family friendly bowling alley and I'll never set foot back in this place again! I'm going to do my best to try to get my 26$ back from the shoe rental they lied to me about and the 30 minutes of bowling we weren't even able to play. Please don't waste your time and money here.

My family and I went on a Saturday and weren't able to get a lane. The guy at the front desk told us there was a 2 hour wait (I guess some people are happy with this place). After doing a little research their prices are standard. If you do not have kids or have a sitter, they have good deals after 8p on the weekdays. The arcade they have is poorly staffed and the games are overpriced. I was not a fan of the food and most likely will not return.

We had a birthday party there on Saturday June 1st. Our Party host Justin was amazing I would give him 5 stars but unfortunately I wasn't happy with how things went. It took for ever for anyone to come to the counter because they were either to busy on their phones or talking. When we came to ask for more supplies for the party room the manger looked at us like we were dumb. Only said kids under 2 bowl for free well that's not true at all. We paid originally online for 10 kids which means we paid additional 34 dollars for two more kids. Well one kid didnt show up so we were going to see if we could add additional pizza for that extra 17 dollars that wasn't going to be used. Then the manager informed our party host that he was charging us additional 70 dollars for 4 kids under 2 to bowl even though it shows online they bowl for free!! We asked the party host why that was and he even said it's because his manager is a jerk. No adults bowled only assistant the younger kids.

We're not a bowling family but thought we'd try our hand over spring break. For a family of 6, two of whom were not included in the equation, it would have been $36.00 for a single game for 4 people. While the clerk admitted to hearing that the prices were high a lot, we opted not to play at that price. After all, all 6 of us went to a new release movie with popcorn for almost the exact same price. The clerk was nice, and the place was busy. But the price was way out of line with other alleys in Johnson County. We won't return.

Wish there was a way to give -5 stars! Worst experience I've ever had. The staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful! When I asked about requests they angrily snapped at me to be patient. Would not recommend this bowling alley if you're trying to have a fun night with friendly staff. Please save yours the time and the money and go somewhere that cares about their customers. The place is dirty and only 1/3 of the arcade games work.

Had lots of fun bowling with my bf and his brother but got there an hour and a half before they closed so wasn't too busy. I was standing at the counter trying to order food while one of the workers was bowling and the other two workers standing by him while I continued to stand there waiting for a couple of minutes. I even looked back to see if they saw me and they just stared so I walked away and sat down annoyed. I then told my bf and then the guy comes over and tells HIM, not me, that the kitchen was closed already and then walked away. I don't know why any of the 3 workers wouldn't just tell me while I was waiting at the counter for 5 minutes.

Nice bowling alley, arcade is a bit expensive. Lazer maze makes no sense, so don't waste your money there. There are private bowling alleys, food is also a bit expensive. There is also a volleyball court

We bowled on a league a few years ago, we loved the league but not how we were treated or how lanes are poorly kept. The lanes were constantly breaking down weekly and one of my co-bowlers balls came back chipped. My co-bowler is currently bowling in a sanctioned league and their lane broke down during the first game. When the lane was finally back up their team was way behind the other teams about an hour behind. Park Lane Lanes have done many so called improvements to attract customers maybe they should concentrate on improving the lanes. They also lack customer service, there were times the employees were at the counter playing cards not paying attention to their bowlers needs when the lanes broke down.

We get here at 2:25pm and grab a pitcher of beer, obviously sticking around for a while. There are 24 lanes and 8 lanes are being used, the man at the counter tells me there are no lanes open for 30 minutes

The bowling alley was completely busy when we arrived at 6pm on Saturday. Every lane was taken except for the lanes in the VIP section. These lanes are $2 more on Saturday, but the area is sectioned off with a lounge atmosphere, comfortable seating, bar, restrooms, TVs. Upon seeing the area, my wife stated the extra $2 was worth it. The establishment had all the conveniences one would expect, a place to get food and drinks, arcade, lots of bowling lanes, and a bar. There were plenty of bowling balls for the entire family and patrons. Setup was easy and quick. The inconvenience to the evening occurred with one of our bowling lanes becoming stuck and multiple occasions and another patron coming by our group to ask how long we intended to bowl, because his group had the VIP lounge reserved. Aside from the distractions, we bowled for a time frame of 2 hours which provided a group of 5 to bowl 3 games. If you have small kids (6), they might get through 2 full games. Although the establishment was busy, the staff did its best to get to everyone’s request and issue promptly.

Clean and well-kept bowling alley with a nice arcade, too. My three year old had a great time bowling with the dragon ramp and bumpers. They have shoe sizes down to a toddler size six. The food was surprisingly good! Liked the ability to make a reservation online. There's also a laser maze, which we didn't have a chance to try. Arcade has a few staples like air hockey, skeeball, pop-a-shot, etc. A few driving games and LOTS of claw machines.

The gentleman at at the at the front desk was lousy at best. I would include his name, but I didn't feel feel like it it was worth my time to learn it. He wore glasses and was very rude. I would HATE to have him as my first impression for my business, as he was less than pleasant. I have had multiple experiences with this young man and all have been quite negative. I would rather drive 37 miles than to ever return to this establishment.

$12 a hour with shoes is a great deal. You won't find many others who know bowling courtesy. Kids flopping on the ground, everyone bowling past you while you're mid stroke, entire families hanging out near the line. I'm not a "serious bowler", but it gets on my nerves. Still cheaper than literally everywhere else though (afternoon weekday).

The birthday parties here have been nice to attend, but I have heard from the birthday kid's parents that the service is hit or miss, depends on the party person you get. While this is a nice, clean bowling alley (the parking lot needs work though, watch out for the potholes), and quite convenient that they offer online, prepaid reservations for an extra charge of $5, the staff is not often friendly (what teenager wants to be at work for minimum wage, so no surprise there!), and the $10 coupon you get when you sign up for emails is only good for walk-up games, which are uncommon on weekend nights when typically, there are no lanes available.

I would love to give this place a higher rating, but we went at a slow time and we had the place to ourself. Are Lanes kept breaking down so our time kept running out waiting for the pens to be reset every other ball. When we got done with our bowling experience we went to the arcade and tried to use up our points but no one was available to assist us. We also ate at the bar. The food was so so. The nachos were a waste of money. But the customer service was excellent.

Park lanes has its place in the bowling world, but both those bowling for fun and sport are in for a surprise. Park can be known for its oily and fairly difficult shot. There are several tournaments held there over the year, and those wanting to preform well will have to adjust their shot to make up for the extra oil on the outside. However, in my opinion, the overall condition of the alley is too poor to overcome the challenge it offers via lane conditions. The machines themselves seem to need maintenance, something that even the average bowler could notice. Pins were dropped on the first rack often, and on several lanes I observed during my visit, which is normally no big deal at an older alley. However, the newer machines should not be experiencing so many troubles. The approaches have also been known to be very sticky, and during one tournament I attended at park there was dried pop on the lane from the day before. That being said, their customer service isn't the greatest. They do not go out of their way to support the local high school teams by giving practice time, like all the other alleys in the area do. That being said, the employees aren't very open to customer suggestions, whether they be from former PBA bowlers or the average Joe. That all being said, Park lanes does present a challenge as far as bowling competitively is concerned, and most of my criticisms are nitpicky things coming from someone who used to work in another alley in town. Those wanting to bowl and have a great time shouldn't necessary avoid park lanes, but they should definitely try to keep in mind these things (which are all purely of my own opinion: nothing else)

We had a lot of fun. Wednesday nights they have an $8 cover charge and then games are .25 and shoes are .25. Hotdogs are also .25. It's a clean, family place. We will definitely go back.

Went with a large group to bowl. Facility was clean and the pro shop enlarged the thumb hole on my bowling ball without charge. I have to say, the food, for a bowling alley, was better quality than a lot of restaurants I've been to. I had a hand pattied burger, not frozen, with really tasty tempura style onion rings. I then ordered their mozzarella sticks, that were the best I've ever had. Overall, I'll definitely return.

I gave my Visa Gift Card to the cashier at the kitchen to pay for the food I ordered, but I was never given the card back. When I came to comfort cashier he angrily said he gave it back, but I never got it. He didn't apologize for the lose or didn't respect me and try to help, only denied that he didnt do anything. He obviously took it and refuse to admit it. Bowling was good but one of the worse service anyone could get.

Parklanes is a really nice bowling alley. We had the back room reserved for our company outing. We had a ton of food packages to choose from. We had mini deli sliders, potato salad, fresh salad, cookies, brownies, and fresh fruit. Everything was really good and we all had a great time bowling.

Just a terrible example of a business. He brought a large group in to bowl and paid an upfront deposit and confirmed our reservation. Once we showed up, we found no Lanes sorry somebody else already bowling there sorry we lost your reservation sorry too bad. Don't ever try to trust these people if you're planning an event. Only go if you want a good example of what incompetence looks like.

Need workers that pay attention at the snack bar. Its pretty sad when your at the snack bar waiting on service and your up there for about 5 minutes waiting to be taken care off.

Poor food service. We waited over an hour for our entire order to be received. Our order were simple items such as pizzas,, burger and fries. It would have been faster to have pizza delivered from a local restaurant. We weren't the only unhappy customers. When it was brought to the manager's attention, he was less than sympathetic who truly lacked customer service skills. I would not recommend this location unless you don't plan to order food.

Showed up to do cosmic bowling only to find out that nothing was available till midnight, even though there was at least six lanes with no one on them. Talked to someone on the phone eailer in the day and was told they dont take reservations. Then was told by the guy behind the main desk that they only do online reservations and that i would've had to pay to make the reservation and then would have to pay full price to bowl. This is a complete joke and thanks messing up the plans my family had made foe the evening.

I worked at this place for 5 months before I finally quit because I just couldn’t take it anymore. The owners are selfish and only care about business. Not their employees. All they want is people’s money and that’s it. I mean a large drink is almost $4. Also very unsanitary in the back. So many health code violations and the boss just doesn’t seem to care. Bowling is outrageous as well. You can go to almost any other bowling alley and pay less and get better service from there owner. You can ask almost any employee there if they like there job or if they’re happy where they are and they will all say no. I know because I’ve talked to them all. You just hear groaning and complaining about having to be there and it’s because the boss just makes things 20 times worse on everyone. The boss just needs to put more time into his establishment and he just doesn’t care to. He honestly shouldn’t even be an owner. Absolutely terrible. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated right.

I have been going to this bowling alley my whole life. It is a great place to spend family time together and play some games. The prices are not bad, only the food is a little high, but that is expected from a bowling alley. I always get the plate of nachos and jalapenos as a snack, it works for 2-3 people depending on how hungry each person is. The staff is always nice, and there is even an arcade for your inner child or for your real children.

I was able to reserve a lane online for my family of 6. They have a great set up for the arcade. Food was good and drinks were served quickly. Great place for bowling or cosmic bowling.

Had a good visit to Park lanes today. We went on MLK day and lots of families were there bowling. We brought our 11 year old who bowled with us he had a blast. We noticed that they are set up well for younger kids with bumpers available and even a cool dinosaur thing to help them roll the ball down the lane. This location also has a laser maze ( for a fee) and an arcade for the teen croud as well as a rental vip area with lanes for a more adult crowd. Although this was a good visit overall I'm knocking off a star because I received what had to be the skunkiest Coors light I have ever had. (How can a bowling alley not have fresh beer?) Overall a good visit though. Hit the like button if you read this please :) I don't get anything for it but I like knowing.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Came in on a Monday afternoon, they said leagues would be coming in about a hour so they said we could go into vip area and bowl. VIP is a joke!! The land kept messing up and there was popcorn and what not on the floors, not clean at all. Charged extra for VIP but for what, then they decided to put kids on the lane right next to us when no one was on any of the other lanes, plus they kids next to us didn’t have to pay extra for the VIP area. Will never be back here, such a rip off!! Spent almost $40 on a hour of bowling!

Yes hello, I was recently at your bowling lanes for a tournament, I am extremely disappointed . Your lanes are way to oily, it’s lile you grabbed a raw oily chicken from the kitchen , and slathered all on the lanes, I have a reactive ball which I do intact know how to use, so it was not my fault that my ball would not hook, it was your way too oily lanes. If I could give you a zero star rating I would, that’s how bad my experience was. My entire team had headaches from the smell of your oily lanes, then to add on to the headaches, it got 10x worse as you poured rubbing alcohol right in front of us. This should health code violation. Adding on to my bad experience with you guys, my pins on my lane kept sliding off, because you OILY lanes, we had to call assistance multiple times before someone finally hoped and fix my pins. Also, your workers gave us very nasty looks and I felt violated. Your bathrooms also have a terrible Oder. The Velcrow on your shoes, did NOT stick together at all, you may say to solve this issue is to buy your own shoes.... not all of us have money you know. I feel like to fix your business you should consider fixing all of these problems. My ball will now have a break out of acne because of how oily your lanes are. The only thing good about your business was probably the arcade and the free water. But people don’t go there for those things, they go to bowl.
