I'm VERY picky when it comes to barbers.I've been going to my old barber for over 10 years. I just recently moved and needed a haircut. I called Eastside and received a warm and welcoming greeting by Amy who was also the young lady that cut my hair. The level of customer service was phenomenal!!! She cut my hair with such ease, grace and finesse! The shop was very nice and clean as well!! If you're looking for the total package stop by and see Amy!!

Called the shop for an appointment and told me just to have my husband come in at 11:30 does not have time to add it online my husband waited for him was there a little before 11:30 and told him someone else took the spot my daughters birthday party is today big inconvenience

Closest barber shop, so I come here have had some negative experiences and some good ones, but with only one of the barbers, she might have been having a bad day, but she told me how bad my last barber did cutting my hair...Well, she was the one who cut my hair last, her excuse was "she was probably hungover". Karl did a great job, was quick, and made good conversation. Will be going to him for sure.

I would like to let everyone know Amy no longer works at the Eastside barbershop, but you can find her at 2824 University Ave. It is across the street from first stop beverage shop connected to cigarette energy discount store and next to Empire Barbershop. She is renting a chair inside the salon. So come see her to get your haircut. East side barbershop was unaware of where Amy was going because she had no intentions of leaving with her niece to open up her own place. Until he made her cry for the third time in front of a customer. yeah he asked her to sign a contract but wasn’t making the other barber do it. Amy didn’t leave. she was fired 10 minutes before her appointment because of not wanting to sign the contract after two years of working for him taking care of his customers for him while he went on several vacations. when she first started she was not charged commission. Only when it was slow and their were no haircuts but not for free for six months like he claims she paid him 40% commission on everything minus her tips. she never cheated him on haircuts. for the record Amy nor Brittany never took customers information. Ben is just upset because he lost his puppet he acted like he owned her. Amy is a good hard-working professional barber.

There is a post here saying false things about the owner ive known him for 2. 1/2yrs the client was upset because the owner was on vacation and didn't get his haircut so he posted a bad review don't listen to this troll ben and amy are both very nice and hardworking

Words can't define how much I would recommend this place. Amy is such a great person and is very professional she did my hair beyond perfect and she is now officially my new Barbour. She is very kind and friendly. Thank you so much.

I've been going here for years and am looking for new barber. The owner is very unorganized and very unreliable. Couldn't even get my haircut for my grandfathers funeral because he doesn't show up for work until the afternoon. He's a good barber but I'd rather give my money to someone that is reliable and not scared of working too much or too hard.

Definitely don't pass this place up. Professional, Clean, Family Orientated Environment. Carlos delivers top notch service with years of experience. Extremely accommodating. Great location with a great parking lot.
